Asking because I've been obsessing over the logistics and "what ifs" of a hypothetical transition and have a grocery list of hypothetical goals (passable voice, beard/chest hair removal, pre-learn how girl clothes work, etc), as well as a ton of research into different kinds of HRT and studies/anecdotes about how to make it work better, and part of me feels like... should I not just let go, roll with whatever comes, and just enjoy it?

I'm not sure how much thought typically goes into these things, or how life-consuming they are... if I'm going back into puberty, which sucked ass the first time, I may as well go in prepared this time, right? Or should I stop obsessing over results and avoiding pubescent awkwardness, and just enjoy the journey? Like, as much as the awkward in-between will suck, is the slow morph into something more comfortable not supposed to be a fun and fulfilling experience? Is trying to minmax something unpredictable worth it?

Does being misgendered bother you? Maybe a scale from yes greatly to not at all/i find it kinda amusing. (Nuance could be included, “yes, but only from friends and family” for example)
