Locked fanworks aren't included in the count because Wayback Machine can’t view those, only Ao3 users can.

Fandom tags that are no longer in the Other Media category tag as of posting this are left out of the bar chart race. These tags are usually either miscategorized or already have other tags referring to the same fandom.

I see we're talking body swaps 👀

Justice League collective body swaps are GREAT. I know people go for Batman for who to swap Cap with. And I see you, I love you, but I raise you: one of the sidekicks.

My first instinct was to say Robin because this is what I imagined:

The Cap's powers are not his body's they're Billy's. Billy is the one they were bestowed upon. So what if the powers go with him? And his body reverts back to his child self?

I am a devoted "Cap's look is self actualizing. He looks like what he believes a hero should look like, and as a kid that was his dad" but also mixed w aspects of themselves. Which means Billy ending up in Damian's body which immediately transforms to make him look like what Damian imagines a hero looks like.

And the League find themselves in front of a darker skinned Nightwing.

Billy has some explaning to do. And Batman is not ready to get hit w a dose of angst.

Fuck I want to write it now.

Another thing about G1 Sunbow Cartoon Megatron is that he's shown to be cowardly and is consistently shown as weaker than Optimus Prime, never able to beat him in a fair one on one fight.

Like in one episode, Heavy Metal War, Megatron challenges Optimus and is only able to win by cheating via absorbing the powers of all his men, once the playing ground is evened, Megatron is defeated easily.

Almost all in all battles, we see Megatron is a threat to Optimus Prime because he does things like endanger some nearby kids so Optimus will get distracted or fake being defeated.

Like in the movie, Megatron is losing pretty badly against Optimus, so he grovels for mercy, whilst reaching for a handgun, knowing Optimus is too honorable to shoot someone in the ground even if he doesn't really buy it.

Than when Megatron strikes the fatal blow, its only by taking Hot Rod hostage, using him as a human shield and aiming at a wound Optimus sustained much earlier. Even there, the mortally wounded Optimus still manages to take him down.

Whilst G1 Marvel comic Megatron was just as sleazy when it came to how he fought, he had a big more dignity and didn't openly beg for mercy. On the otherhand, this Megatron was rarely in power and people like Shockwave were always taking power over him.

I feel alot of 80s and early 90s kids action media did that with the villains being physically weaker than the hero, but being dangerous because they were sneaky and dishonest; exploiting that the Heroes were too nice to sink to the villain's level.

Maybe it was done to make it clear to the child audience that the villains were not to be admired?

25 Prose Tips For Writers 🖋️✨ Part 1

Hey there!📚✨

As writers, we all know that feeling when we read a sentence so beautifully crafted that it takes our breath away. We pause, reread it, and marvel at how the author managed to string those words together in such a captivating way. Well, today I'm going to unpack a few secrets to creating that same magic in your own writing. These same tips I use in my writing.

But before I begin, please remember that writing is an art form, and like any art, it's subjective. What sounds beautiful to one person might not resonate with another. The tips I'm about to share are meant to be tools in your writer's toolkit, not rigid rules. Feel free to experiment, play around, and find what works best for your unique voice and style.

Power of Rhythm 🎵

One of the most overlooked aspects of beautiful prose is rhythm. Just like music, writing has a flow and cadence that can make it pleasing to the ear (or mind's ear, in this case). Here are some ways to incorporate rhythm into your writing:

a) Vary your sentence length: Mix short, punchy sentences with longer, flowing ones. This creates a natural ebb and flow that keeps your reader engaged.

Example: "The sun set. Darkness crept in, wrapping the world in its velvet embrace. Stars winked to life, one by one, until the sky was a glittering tapestry of light."

b) Use repetition strategically: Repeating words or phrases can create a hypnotic effect and emphasize important points.

Example: "She walked through the forest, through the shadows, through the whispers of ancient trees. Through it all, she walked with purpose."

c) Pay attention to the stressed syllables: In English, we naturally stress certain syllables in words. Try to end important sentences with stressed syllables for a stronger impact.
