wanted to write some more about this and answer some questions
first answers to two questions i saw: its available for both chrome/chromium and firefox. the search filtering works for google, bing, and duckduckgo.
i wanted to clarify like, the main goal from what i understand is to get folks to use high quality independently hosted wikis they might not otherwise know exist since search engines typically put fandom at the top. since theres still some wikis primarily only on fandom, by default it wont touch any other fandom wikis not in the list. however if (like me) u hate fandom.com u can turn on breezewiki redirection if you so desire, which will redirect any other fandom wikis not listed to a breezewiki instance of your choice. at the very least if youre already aware of all these indie wikis and use them regularly, with the extension youll never accidentally end up on fandom from a google search again lol
also some of these indie wikis are actually hosted on miraheze rather than hosted by the owners of the wiki. this is fine since miraheze is a nonprofit wiki farm with 0 ads that very rarely fucks with the wikis it hosts compared to fandom. miraheze is doing good work :)
another thing, the extension is fully open source! u can find the source code on github here and fork, make pull requests, write issues, inspect the source code urself, whatever. its licensed under the MIT license
lastly for anyone curious about the full details, heres the list of fandom wiki redirects as of the current version. it is very long so im putting it under a readmore

any that might seem obvious and popular enough (such as Sonic the Hedgehog) that dont have a redirect are simply because there isnt a high quality independent wiki out there for those subjects, at the moment the fandom wikis are the definitive source of information for those topics. you wouldnt want to be redirected from a perfectly fine fandom wiki to a dead website would you :P
sorry for rambling, thats all. also i said "mutual not on tumblr" because i meant hes a twitter mutual lol, sorry for the weird wording. Kevin Payravi's contact info is on the site if youd like to ask him anything or contact him for other reasons
figure this might be of interest to folks here, a mutual of mine who doesnt have tumblr (i believe) just released a super handy extension called Indie Wiki Buddy. does a lot more than just redirects, itll filter out search results and add a banner to fandom wikis youre viewing, and it goes hand-in-hand with Breezewiki if you're already using it :)

WPI launches automotive taillight solution based on products from NXP, Nanochip and Lextar Electronics
【Lansheng Technology News】WPI recently announced that its subsidiary Shiping has launched an automotive taillight solution based on NXP S32K144, Nanochip NSL21912 and Lextar Electronics PC35R14.
Under the general trend of automobile digital transformation, automobile taillights, as important devices for lighting and signaling, are also developing in a more intelligent, multi-functional and personalized direction. Currently, some well-known automobile manufacturers are using digital taillight design to automatically adjust light brightness and color to improve driving safety. In response to this trend, WPI launched an automotive taillight solution based on NXP S32K144, Nanochip NSL21912 and Lextar PC35R14, which can help automakers quickly complete through-type taillight designs and enhance the travel experience.
This solution consists of three parts: main control board, driver board and light board. Among them, the main control board is designed based on NXP's S32K144 MCU. S32K144 32-bit automotive-grade general-purpose MCU launched with Arm® Cortex®-M4F core. This product has a DSP instruction set and a single-precision floating-point processing unit (FPU), which can run at a maximum frequency of 112MHz, and integrates 2MB Flash and 256KB SRAM. It is suitable for automotive ASIL B/D body and area control applications.
The driver board of the solution uses Nanochip NSL21912 LED driver as the core, and is equipped with Nanochip NCA1042 CAN transceiver and JWQ5103 buck regulator. Among them, NSL21912 is a 12-channel, 20V high-side LED driver that complies with automotive grade Grade 1 and has an ambient temperature of up to 125°C. It is suitable for automotive exterior taillights, external headlights, and miscellaneous exterior lighting applications.
The lamp board is designed with 106 lamp beads, all of which use Lextar's PC35R14. With signal control, a variety of lighting effects can be achieved. In addition, the main control board, driver board and light board are connected using Molex connectors, which can quickly transmit control signals.
Benefiting from consumers' continuous pursuit of automobile appearance and safety performance, and automobile manufacturers' continuous exploration of new technologies, digital taillight design will become an important growth point in the automobile industry. In this regard, WPI will work with major partners to help manufacturers rapidly innovate and improve market competitiveness.

I draw a pen doodle every day until I forget
Day 95: Minicon Sparkplug (Transformers Armada)
So today I was reorganizing doing a little maintenance on the transformers on my cool boys shelf, and I got to my unicron trilogy figures. I have a couple of heavy hitters like Cybertron Optimus and Energon Ultra Megatron, but my favorite little dude to mess with is Sparkplug! He’s just a little guy! You can transform him as fast as you can make the “Tsc-Che-Che-Che-Che” sound under your breath.
I’ve also tried to practice a little at conveying transformation on paper. I know I can kinda do it via animation, but trying to do it like a comic is… hard…
I think it would be much easier if I could rough it out via pencil first, but given that this challenge I locked myself into allows only pens and other permanent tools, I have to make do. Ah well, it must mean that I need to practice more, which I’ll get back to ASAP!

Oooooo I've been tagged again!! (Hehe it doesn't happen too often!)
Relationship status:
Right now, I'm single. I would love to be in a romantic relationship actually. I did try earlier this year, but it just didn't work out.
Favorite colour:
Hmmm Well I love red, I own a lot of red items. But I also like some shades of green and specifically neon orange. But then again if I see a pretty colour, I will go crazy for it.
Three favorite foods:
Ooo! Right now I would say pierogies, pesto tortellini, and of course, garlic bread.
Song stuck in my head:
It has changed several times since I started writing this, but currently it's sexy bitch by David Guetta and Akon.
Last song I listened to:
Like or like buy miniature tigers.
The last thing I googled:
I was actually surprised about this one I thought it would be something else, no it's the arms micron page on the transformers wiki. I guess I really don't surprise myself too much. (They are really cute, I love them so much)
Dream trip:
Man I'm not sure. I'd love to visit anywhere. But I'm actually reminded of this really cool place I've been to before, the enchanted forest. It has like fairytale houses and stuff, it's pretty neat. I haven't been there in a while.
Anything I really want right now:
My room to organize itself. (I moved into my basement, so everything is in boxes)
I'm not sure who to tag, but uh answer if you want!
@oatmealconsumer @jasperthefuckingcat @short-circuit-the-great @em0-cr4sh420
Anyway, these lovely people!
Get to Know Me Better Tag Game
Rules: Tag ten (10) people you want to get to know better.
Tagged by @sphnyspinspin - Thank you! I’m making a separate post because I don’t need strangers seeing everything. lol
Relationship status: Single since always, and still uninterested in changing that
Favorite color(s): I have quite a few, but gold has me in a vice-like grip (more than usual).
Three favorite foods: Cheese, potatoes, and, uh…salmon.
Song stuck in my head: Funny story: Last week, for the first time in almost a decade, I got a song stuck in my head. It felt so foreign to me. I don’t remember what the song was, though. lol
Last Song I Listened To: Where We Go by P!NK (Spotify | YouTube)
Last thing I Googled: “roles of the king and queen in chess” - I needed it for an extended analogy, illustrating how the fandom perceives Soundwave and Megatron versus how I’m writing them ;)
Dream trip: Last time, I said Reynisfjara, so I’ll go with a different location this time: The Uyuni Salt Flat in Bolivia [1] [2] - I have absolutely imagined doing photo shoots here with my favorite characters. The only problem is that salt, water, and metal are not a good combination (Sorry, guys. We’ll just wash your pedes off with fresh water when we’re done.)
Anything I really want right now: To finish my Big Bang fic. This is only the beginning of a story I’ve been writing in my head for over 2 years, and I’m very excited to share it.
Tagging @iamanemotionaltimebomb @xisum @greenbookreclaim @staijey-the-creator @cadet-songbird @teletraan-exe @virovirokun-has-adhd @kshahrwarmamochi @prismicnexus @elindae-writes (Hello, hello 👋 Some of you are new to my notes; others have been around for a bit. For your convenience, a copy and paste-ready version of the form is in the replies.)

Dear Vector Prime, did Skyquake have an arms micron like his brother, Dreadwing? What about Slipstream?
Dear Micron Maverick,
Skyquake’s preferred weapon was his rotary Tornado Cannon, which—unknown to him—could secretly convert into the hammerhead shark-like Arms Micron Moza; Slipstream, meanwhile, wielded the missile-launcher form of the alligator-like Geda. In one reality, where Skyquake managed to escape his fate at the hands of Bumblebee, I believe that he and Slipstream joined forces to track down the renegade Stunt Dead End; the Stunticon himself wielded the weapon form of Beru, a saber-toothed feline Micron that could become a deadly scimitar.

STMicroelectronics’ wireless microcontroller enhances energy efficiency and sustainability in Sindcon smart meters
【Lansheng Technology News】On September 18, 2023, STMicroelectronics recently announced its cooperation with Singapore smart meter manufacturer Sindcon IoT Technology Pte. Ltd. to use STMicroelectronics’ STM32WLE5 LoRaWAN® wireless microcontroller to transform and upgrade Sindcon’s smart meters. The meter is deployed to Sindcon’s energy network of more than 50,000 water, gas and electricity meters in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Paolo Oteri, Asia Pacific Marketing Director of STMicroelectronics, said: "The STM32WLE5 microcontroller (MCU) uses long-distance, low-power wireless communication technology and can remotely read meters through the LoRaWAN wireless network, effectively solving problems in the vast and diverse urban area of Jakarta. and meter reading challenges in densely forested areas. The STM32 wireless microcontroller is a lightweight system-on-chip (SoC) that allows customers like Sindcon to integrate more functions into smart meters without increasing the size or form factor of the product. size."
Sindcon CEO Chen Deyu said: "In Jakarta, Sindcon smart meters are installed in apartments, communities, industrial water supply facilities and shopping malls. Such installation environments make meter reading quite difficult and expensive. We chose STM32WLE5 Because it brings customers the advantages of high integration and optimizes the performance, size, security and power consumption of smart meters."
The project will be Sindcon’s first deployment of smart meters based on STMicroelectronics STM32WLE5CC wireless MCU in Indonesia. STM32WLE5CC is a highly integrated Sub-GHz wireless microcontroller, equipped with an Arm® Cortex®-M4 processor core clocked at 48 MHz, integrating 256 KB flash memory, 64 KB SRAM, LoRa® modulator and AES 256-bit encryption unit. Sindcon's upgraded energy meter uses STM32WLE5, includes an advanced battery management system, and supports remote meter reading with accuracy for ten years.
These meters are currently being renovated and upgraded and will be fully installed by the end of 2023.
