I think I’ve talked about him before but there’s not much info I can find on him without being led to the ride on Universal instead 🫠

But overall, I like his design! It’s a nice blend between his WFC and TFP design (not sure if that’s what they were going for but some elements of his design reminds me of WFC Bumblebee) and I love how they gave him his horns back! I lowkey love his horns more than his antenna things from Knightverse n TF!One but I think they’re still cute on him. Would be awesome to see this design in action.

And what if I say while Drift grieves Ratchet at his funeral holding his inner most energon vial, he cries cursing Rodimus in grief and desperate anger because Rodimus isn’t there to comfort him.

But Rodimus is there to comfort him.

…

Drift just can’t see him.

Because Rodimus is dead too.

Rodimus died a long time ago.

After the crew disbanded and after he became a drunk, Rodimus got bad, really bad.

and eventually, he died.

He felt himself online without clear memory thinking he was still alive only for Drift and Ratchet to go through him.

He’s been there with them from the moment he died to this very moment now as Drift curses him and cries.

He can do nothing but watch and crouch by his side staying with him.

He figured this was his punishment.

To suffer watching the ones he loved so close but so far.

He figures he deserves this too.

What he wouldn’t give to bring Ratchet back and have Drift be happy.

All he can do is unknowingly be beside him and stay bound to his spark until the day Drift dies.

He already felt half himself go when Ratchet died.

Its only time and patience until Drift will one day too offline.

I just had a silly thought... what would Bayverse!Optimus do if a human friend stuck embarrassing car magnets on his bumper without him realizing at the time, but then one of his fellow Autobots does when he transforms into his normal self (let's just say Crosshairs cuz I feel like he'd be an ass about it).

Oooooooooo yessssss, THIS IS SO LATE I'M SO SORRY QWQ

It was cleaning day and you were busy hosing down Optimus' alt form. While he was recharging and you were drying, you slipped a few magnets on his bumper. Trying to contain your laughter, you continued your business and quickly admired your work. There were a few hilarious retro magnets and stickers, definitely something any driver would like while driving behind Optimus.

"All done!" You smiled as Optimus got out of recharge. He hummed softly and transformed. "Good as new boss man." You couldn't help but snicker as Optimus noticed one on his forearm, the leader of the autobot studied it before looking at you.

"(Y/N)?"

"Y-yeah?"

"What is.....'girlboss'?" Optimus asked. The other autobots gathered around, a couple snickering from the other magnets.

"Oh, heh, you know like....you're a boss but you're like a 'girl' boss." You chuckled. Optimus stared at you, the confusion never leaving his optics. "It's a word of endearment."

"Ah I see, then you are also a 'girlboss'." Optimus smiled. You tried your best to hide your laughter, feeling it choke up in your throat as you nodded respectfully at him.

Crosshairs on the other hand, he wasn't too discrete about it. "BAHAHAHAHA, 'SLUTTY WAIST PRIME' AND....AND 'THICCTIMUS PRIME'!" Your face flushed as he read the embarrassing ones, while Optimus gawked at his fellow autobots. "WAIT WAIT WAIT, 'TOO BABE FOR YOU' THAT'S HILARIOUS." He then pretended to wipe a tear from all the laughing.

"......(Y/N)." Optimus called.

".....yes?"

"What did you put on me?"

"Nothing sir." You smiled innocently. "I've never heard of them nor have I ever seen them."

"You haven't?"

"No sir."

"Hmm," Optimus studied you. "It's a shame, these magnets are quite unique and decorative...."

"You think so?"

"It was my brilliant idea," Crosshairs boasted. "I knew Optimus would like them."

"Oh? You're forbidden from car racing for a month."

"WHAT?"

You let out a soft snicker at Crosshairs reaction, the autobot grumbled and stomped off with the others; leaving you and Optimus alone. "Would you subject me to the same fate, Optimus?"

"No, you don't enjoy car racing."

You let out a chuckle. "You're right." Optimus knelt down to meet your gaze. "Well, you're right about me being the culprit, heh, so whats my punishment?"

Optimus placed his hand under his chin, almost replicating the human thinking pose he had often seen you doing. "To go out on a drive with me."

"Huh?"

"We must test out the stability and durability of the magnets."

"You're not mad?"

"....not if it's you."

One of these days, someone who's new into the Transformers fandom will see Mirage and Noah having gay sexual tension and see us talking about a make out scene and imagine the person frantically searching all over throughout the movie and deleted scenes to see that we were being delusional. . .

And I think that is fragging fantastically depressing!
