How would you make KOBD (Knock Out x Breakdown) seem more.. Real, I guess?

By just having them act like normal people who happen to be two men who are a romantic couple, that's all lol. One of the things I never liked about slash is how it misrepresents gay/lesbian couples of which someone has to be the "man" and someone has to be the "woman" all the way down to someone needing to do siring or getting pregnant.

Don't take this as a judgement on how other people write. They are free to do so, but when writing same gender couples, the first thing I always do is respect that the characters should be able to each stand on their own two feet alone. They can't just solely exist to just be a couple. In the case of KO and Breakdown, each of them needs to have a personality, hobbies and fleshed out character on their own before making them work as a couple.

Also, when portraying them as a couple, have them be real by making them deal with relatable issues, tasks and challenges. Most importantly, show that their relationship is not just about fanservice. Have them respect each other and do good clean activities together.

The bottom line is that the way Knock Out and Breakdown are in Prime is just fine and a good place to start. Non-straight people are just people like us and there is no reason to feel shy or to feel a need to treat them any differently when we write them. Don't even be afraid to have the couple argue or even wind up breaking up if the two of them are not working out. It's ok. Though in my case, I see Knockout and Breakdown as being a very good and healthy couple.

The most important thing to remember when writing any type of character is to not give them special treatment (aka turning them into a Mary Sue). It's ok for them to face challenges even in their love life. THAT makes them real. By just making them act natural and do real things together and apart.

YES!! People, when making fan content, sometimes forget that he has shown that he cares for some of the other characters. He is a very genuine guy, he does care very deeply i feel, he just doesn’t show it in an overly emotional manner. Like the most emotional he got in Tfp was when he wanted to dismember cylas.

ANDD of course ko’s not actually that evil! He’s just a guy questionable morals, he’s such a freak and very much queer.

i had a thought about it yesterday but knock out not being traditionally attractive despite how he looks is one of my favorite things about him no, i dont think hed have a lot of sex, hed hate cigarettes, he cant handle alcohol, weed would make him fall asleep. this isnt because hes a "cinnamon roll baby boy" or anything; its because hes sopping pathetic he has this sexy attractive charming demeanor and then he makes stupid puns and one liners and cannot comprehend social cues. hes constantly masking his resting bitch face with a smirk. he knows more pop culture references than your uncle. hes more interested in automobiles than the planet (not in a capitalist way but in an autistic way) hes a loser. hes gay. hes on the spectrum. he cant pay attention. he pays too much attention. hes tired. hes manic. hes a scientist. he learned how to be a medic in a week. hes a nerd who put on a varsity jacket and is having the best time of his life. and i love him
