hey, the prime defenders fandom has a real issue with tagging their fucking headcanons as such. my ass should not have to dig through a dead wiki, yakko's twitter, and the prime defenders patreon comment section to know if a character is Canonically trans or if the entire fandom has just simultaneously decided to gaslight me into not knowing if the Actual Character is cis. maybe invest in doing something like tagging shit. kind of not difficult to do

So obviously Looney tunes has genius timing and musical coordination which makes their comedy what it is, something that cannot be achieved in stand-up.

BUT- if there was any chance any one of them would do decent stand-up, it'd be bugs. Daffy's comedy is very well thought out and he has a lot of range but his zaniness cannot be fully appreciated without his physicality. Bugs, on the other hand, has a lot more experience with witty retorts and remarks. While he also can't be *that* well-rounded without the physical aspect, I think he can make some pretty good jokes on stage with his way of delivery? At least that's what I think-

To add onto this (this is where the hc parts come in) , if someway somehow bugs find himself doing stand up comedy, Taylor Tomlinson's Look At You tour has some very bugs-coded jokes that I think he'd tell. Delivery, timing and all.

(help idk where this tangent came from I was watching a lot of Taylor Tomlinson and thought. wow. I think byoogs bnnuy would tell these jokes.)

I didnt know who Taylor Tomlinson was, now ive been watching videos of her (thanks for the rec btw 🙌🏻) and yeaah she has some strong bugs vibes, in therapy I can really see bugs going for the same logic

Your so right about the stand up thing, although Daffy does shine on his commentary sometimes, hes just more direct than bugs, whereas bugs uses more puns and wittyness to make his points

Also I think is interesting that bugs fits into a women comedian from all things, this girl persona, the coquette aesthetic Is something that fits him so well, I think is bc of the facade, performing femeinity is something that many women, nonbinary and trans folks can agree to feel like puting on a disguise to make people treat us with a little more of kindness as per when we reveal were actual human beings we're meet with ostracization and sometimes even violence dndndnm perhaps I'm reaching and god knows I'm projecting but I do feel like this wacky character has something to show and tell about society and perception

Synopis: In 1945 Congress and the Senate demand that the Toon Studios of Warner and Disney settle their differences after both are caught forming battlelines. The government forcing them to choose one toon on either side that would be married to each other to cement this bridge.

After being locked up in the water tower in 1934, James Rabbit Aka Yakko Warner would do anything to free his siblings but is he willing to be married off to some Disney Toon named Max Goof for that freedom?

The Warner boss grinned asking innocently,

"Didn't you hear me, Mr Disney? She is from one of your creations. It is why we figured over at Universal and Warner, Yakko would be perfect for your little Max. She is the daughter of Oswald and Ortensia, the Niece of Mickey it would assist in tying the Goof and Mouse families together as well." The CEO chuckled as Walts eyes lit up, his grip tightened, making Yakko wince at the vice like grip, before letting go,

The Animator turned going to his desk,

"She will do then, Max is being redesigned, and she should be as well, I had to go through Marceline over that." He sighed, Yakko could see in his eyes he was tired, he shrugged, pulling out a cigarette,

"It is the government, though. I told her that unless someone else wishes too then this is the only option." He put the object to his lips and lit it, taking a drag he muttered with a shake of the head,

"I don't want to make children grow up faster than they should. However, it has come to this. Just thanking the Lord above that they aren't forcing em to produce offspring, I know Max still has the mindset of a 6 year old, Yakko is that of a pre teen, she has no manners either, one of us would be stuck raising the mongrol to make sure they didn't end up feral."

He took another drag, James had already decided he didn't like this Walt Disney. But it also seemed like he had prior history with his Dad, so he'd play nice for now, putting on a smile fiddling with the skirt he couldn't wait to get out of,

"We are already working on that redesign." The Toon blinked horror shooting through him,
