In other fun news, a trans woman released a song about her experiences of joy as a woman and everyone is jumping down her throat because it's not a song about the tragic life of being a woman. Like I'm not a woman, but maybe people are allowed to find joy in their experiences of womanhood. Maybe women are allowed to express other emotions other than misery and suffering.

PS the fucking Barbie soundtrack, which was a self-described movie for all women had plenty of songs that had the exact same vibe, Dylan's song is legit just her experiences of trans girl joy.

this post has been inspired by someone talking about how sick they are of "exclusionists", that then goes on to include words transfems use to describe specific transmisogynystic behavior next to terms like "transmed" and "trender"

if you sincerely think that the terms transfems have used to describe the hostility (and notably, exclusionism!) fellow queers show towards us is equivalent to terms ACTUAL TRANSPHOBES use, then you need to reflect on exactly why you might think that

I am Nidaa, a mother of three children living in Gaza. My heart breaks every day as I see my children living in constant fear, wishing only to feel safe. Our lives have become an unending nightmare. Whenever they hear the sound of a shell, they freeze in place, and fear fills their eyes.🇵🇸

We have no shelter or enough food. We sleep on the cold ground, and my children complain of the cold and hunger while I try to smile to comfort them. I see the sadness in their eyes, and I feel a deep helplessness because I can’t protect them. Each passing day is a new challenge, and I can’t envision a future for them in this hell.🍉🍉
