Azul has no power and no allies—only a dangerous man known as Vanth Umbra, King of the Dying Sun, born to protect the living from the creatures of the Underworld. Sex is the one bargaining chip Azul has, so it's a good thing Vanth wants him—except he can’t be trusted, especially not when he appoints himself as Azul's protector. However, as Azul is caught between a murderous necromancer, an elite guard sworn to the Megarchon, and a dissenter faction with its own plans, binding himself to Vanth might be his only chance to survive.

Some things you might want to know before reading: This story is intended for an adult audience. Trauma and abuse are central parts of the story, especially (past) child abuse. Poor coping mechanisms are featured prominently. Under-negotiated BDSM is common. Suicidal ideations come up too. There's also violence, gore, and horror elements, particularly in later arcs.

But I can promise there's a happy ending. Eventually.

ANOTHER UPDATE POST!? WOWIE1!1!!1!1

Hiii ～☆ Ry here again with ANOTHER update!? I know I said I'd have a schedule for these updates but this one is MEGA important (trust!!).

So let's jump right in!

1. Plot has been built up all the way to Act 4 and major thanks to @bluryy-face0 since they've been carrying a lot of the notes and jotting all that down as we have gone along; I couldn't do this without them!!

2. All main characters are covered and accounted for and side characters are being worked on! (You'll see a preview of one at the end in the promised doodle).

3. @bluryy-face0 has made some trad sketch demos and has taken up the huge task of being lead artist(Go check out their work it is PHENOMENAL!!)

4. Act edits are being made regularly and if we keep a healthy pace, hopefully by next week we can kill that off.

5. Script work will begin shortly (I will most likely start tonight.)

Now for the promised doodle; a shitpost video this time :) The first character is Lev and the second character featured is Amihan Tolentino who is currently in the works as a side character.

I hope anyone who sees this continues to enjoy the work being made, and again, huge thanks to @bluryy-face0 because this would LITERALLY be impossible without them!!
