It's been 3 months since Secret Life.

Gem's hand is still speckled with dark blue. She stares at it every night, pulling the glove off and wishing the marks would change. They haven't. Sometimes she hears echoes of voices that aren't her own. She closes her eyes, gritting her teeth, and wishes she could forgive Pearl. She misses Scott. She wonders where he is.

It's been 3 months since Secret Life. Joel hasn't seen Lizzie since. He found Hermitcraft, but he hasn't found the others. He tosses in his sleep and begs Grian and Pearl to look, to extend themselves somehow into the fabric of the universe and find her.

It's been 3 months since Secret Life. Grian worries. He's happy, but he worries about Gem, and he worries about Scar and about Pearl and about Joel. He worries about himself. He wonders about BigB, and at night he sits at the edge of the dock with his feet in the water and watches the server, watches everyone asleep or awake pacing their bedrooms. He closes his eyes and he watches everything, waiting for an answer, waiting for anything at all.

It's been 3 months since Secret Life. Scar is different.

Scar has never been afraid of Watchers. That would mean being afraid of Grian. Scar didn't die, Scar didn't let the Watchers have him, in the end. But Scar is quieter. He laughs, and he creates, and he grows gardens and trees and he keeps himself occupied, but he remembers the feeling of being alone, of red blood on cold snow, and of everything and anything else. He grows sunflowers instead of poppies and lilacs, and at night he watches Grian fish from the window of the train, and keeps it to himself. Maybe he understands now. Maybe he doesn't. It doesn't matter. It's been 3 months since Secret Life, and Scar isn't alone.

I need an update! Please! Little nightmare channel change

Hiiiii sorry things have been really crazy, I got a new job that is full time now, and may need to move next year, so I'm trying to do some research on what I can do and where I can go for that..... so I've had significantly less time for my typical art things at the moment... As for Little Nightmares Channel Change, I'm roughly on page 28/67. I think once I get to page 35, this time, I'm gonna start releasing one page every two weeks instead of all at once, that seems to be more enjoyable for people, on top of them having to wait less while I'm still working on the other pages. So I'm hoping to start releasing stuff no more than two months from now, if not a little earlier depending on how my schedule goes.

Summary:

It’s only as dawn begins its dove-soft advent on the horizon that Mumbo’s voice halts in its tracks. There’s no taper, no sleep-heavy stumble of a warning; Grian, teetering on the barest knife’s edge of a proper doze, jolts back to full awareness within a heartbeat. Mumbo’s precise, meticulous cadence had been a balloon, swelling up to satiate the room with nostalgia; without it, everything— from the ill-fitting planks in the walls, to the thinning shadows scurrying over themselves across the floor— shrinks back in, creeping forward until the very air threatens to suffocate him. When Grian finally musters the energy to glance up, Mumbo’s eyes pin him right back down to the mattress, brows arched and leaping for the summit of his hairline. “What?” Grian rasps after a moment, dragging his head back from the tender pillow of his shoulder. Pins and needles explode from the ball-joint; Grian bites back a hiss as his blood resumes flowing, jittering with each sluggish pulse through his veins. The corners of Mumbo’s lips curve down by a fraction. “Dude, this is like, the fifth time you’ve yawned in a row. Why aren’t you asleep, I’ve been—” and the chuckle that escapes his throat bubbles up like cool water from a fresh spring, saturated in good-natured chagrin— “I’ve literally been trying to bore you to sleep right now, this entire time!”

Hi gang i live!!! Sorry for the long wait, but here is the next chapter at last :] once again i have decided to split it, so this one is a bit shorter than usual, only about 3.2k, but the next chap is slated to be an absolute beast so hopefully this will be a nice appetizer. Thank you to everyone who wrote very nice comments both on the fic and in the tags, as well as to my lovely anons, yall truly have motivated me like nothing else to keep me working through this tough period. Also yes i know this picture is of red onions but it was the best visual equivalent for spider eyes that i could come up with, you're just gonna have to use your imagination while looking at them sjdbsjdj 😌😌😌

someone might have already talked about an all first out life series but I've been Thinking and came up with ways to make it worse >:)

Out Life! A life series where four copies of Jimmy and Lizzie are the only players. The four Jimmy's are Jimmy, Martyn, Ren, and Joel- except they all pretend to be eachother at various different points of time, have voice changers that swap every thirty minutes, and all wear the same skin. (The reason I choose those three is that they're either good actors, get really into bits, or know Jimmy really well.)

Grian joins the game in creative mode at the beginning to explain the twist (as there is more to it, possibly game changing rules and mechanics) but gets angry and leaves in a huff without explaining any new things after Lizzie points out that he technically just canonized him dying first in Real Life. He never joins back, and no one explains any of the mechanics, so they play it like it's vanilla for the most part. Nothing is visibly different.

No one knows what's happening. None of the Jimmy's upload on their channels- however, a new channel called "Jimcentral" appears and is advertised by all of the former life series players on their channels. "Jimcentral" is where all of the Jimmy's povs are uploaded- all edited by one anonymous person so they don't have a telltale editing style. Lizzie spends most of the sessions dying of laughter. There are near constant explosions, and somehow the game runs for nine weeks before anyone drops a life- in the tenth session, everything goes to hell.

The Jimmy's have a civil war, two against two. One team wins and permakills the other. Lizzie is caught in the crossfire and killed as well. The two remaining Jimmy's duke it out, and one wins. The winning Jimmy then recites a twenty minute long peice of poetry and promptly gets squashed by an anvil. His final words are "no longer will a bird be caged, and- hey, what is that?"

Massive social media wars break out as the fan base tries to determine which Jimmy won. None of the content creators know either, as nametags were completely disabled in game, but they all claim to have won. It becomes a well documented conspiracy theory, and exactly half a year after the starting date, the Jimcentral youtube channel is deleted, along with all of the Jimmy povs. Lizzie takes her videos down as well. The series known as Out Life remains an enigma, a phantom in the memory of the Life Series fans. Grian denies that this event ever happened.
