My role in the project consisted of helping to create and develop the narrative for the video as well as producing a large portion of the storyboard. I also worked as the lead animator, producing the final outcome for the project.

Research

Before beginning my project, I embarked on research to gather inspiration on how I wanted my own portfolio to look like. I looked a plethora of different examples but the following stuck out to me: Toyfight, Pawel Norbert, Marleigh Culver, and Alicia Haberman. I really liked the portfolios that had simple layouts with neutral colors. These portfolios very colorful and explosive designs and artwork.

Jonny Lander and Leigh Whipday, collectively known as ToyFight, are an award winning creative agency specialising in design. This shows in their own website which is an interesting experience to say the least. I like the amazing contrast of bright colours used for each page which help to give each page its own identity. I also like the way the site has been laid out which has inspired me to use a similar layout.
