Hello guys! Long time no see, huh? I know I disappeared, but the project isn't forgotten, so don't worry. I've just been super busy because I want to finish paying for some things so I can maybe get something soon. However, I've been writing and shaping the story from time to time. The next chapter will end with a jump, I hope, and we can go to the present (TVD season 2) to finally give you what you're looking for and what I'm dying to write. Also, seeing how much you like my comment about the ghost Kol, I was thinking about writing another story, although I'm not sure yet. Adding it to "Hold On" isn't viable, or at least not with what will happen to our protagonist and her connection to the Mikaelson brothers, so I thought about making another story. If everything works out, I might have more freedom to write as I please and resume updates later. I'd love to share some of my TVD readings, although I don't know if I should do it as a thread or leave you my AO3 bookmarks (they're scattered between my bookmarks and a Notion list, so I'm thinking about options) so you can enjoy readings that I consider to be great. Most of them are with the Mikaelson brothers, I don't usually read with one in particular because, to be honest, I can't resist the temptation of one yes and the other no. Better with everyone 🤭 Anyway, that's it. I hope I can deliver and that it's in the short term, as I feel bad for not publishing anything even if I have a busier and busier schedule. How bad would it be if I told you that, maybe, there won't be a chapter this month? I haven't been able to sit down to write because my brother is in finals and needs it, and my mom takes advantage of the mornings and part of the afternoon to work. And for me, hahaha, only the night would be left but they are busy with work.

I am doing my best to save, finish paying off some debts, and get into debt again to buy my own laptop and be able to make more progress on my projects.

I'm not saying that "Hold On" will go on hiatus, but the chapter would be delayed until next month (two chapters in one month, haha, how lucky. I envy them).

Can we talk about how much I love the theme of Kol being a ghost able to see and communicate with his soulmate in fanfic? The fact that he recognizes her soulmate, jokes and flirts with her, in addition to being protective of her and talking about her frustration at not being able to help her at that moment but promising revenge when she frees herself from Klaus' dagger. He fascinates me and strongly makes him my favorite Mikaelson. Kol is extremely intelligent but highly impulsive and violent, which sometimes works against him. And I'm thinking about using that side of him a lot with Alana. After all, he is the one who will work hard to make our girl understand the fierce love dedicated to her and only her.

PS: Your writer says that she has not yet written the encounters but she has been fantasizing about meeting each Mikaelson brother for months.

God, I haven't really sat down to write because I've been busy with work (I came in so tired last week that I recovered well on Thursday, and I have to work that same day). I also seem to have lost weight and my mother is worried that she will pick up a bad habit. I really hope things get better so I can have a calmer job. Apart from the time jump I have to make, I question which bloodline Alana should belong to. Kol and Finn are a tempting choice. Can you imagine the reaction of the other brothers because their soulmate is dead?

The last on the list is Klaus, as I feel it is very expected. All the main characters are from his bloodline. With Rebekah it's safe (boring…) and I don't know what I could do with Elijah, although it's a bit tempting for Alana to end up involved with The Strix.

God, I'll just go finish the chapter. I'll decide this later.

Kol y Finn son una opción tentadora, ¿Imaginan la reacción de los otros hermanos porque su alma gemela está muerta? El último en la lista es Klaus, ya que siento que es muy esperado. Todos los personajes principales son de su línea de sangre. Yes Yes. I know I should have updated yesterday, BUT, I was resting after the work test and well, I didn't sit down to finish. The good thing is that I am expanding with this chapter; it the bad thing is that it will take me a while to translate and review it, but I hope it can be done before this weekend 😭
