cab i hear about the ocs

so many . god i just opened my old wattpad acc and i made a yuri hogwarts with lesbian polycule founders and the ocs i used for that were . so predictable to what i like now. (isabella) girl that grew up pampered and rich and had everything in life falling in love with the girl she met in her dorm and obsessing over her so much she literally becomes a bitch to others to please her x (dean) girl whose been chasing validation her entire life and doesn't know what to do when she's given it so openly so she uses and manipulates izzy to feed her ego and addiction and hunger for approval and they're both changing each other constantly and they never find a balance and are just horrifically sad and horrible and abusive. like okay toxic prongsfoot . like this is exactly what izzy and dean's story is it's not even funny have i not changed my tastes in four years.

i also had these other lesbians who were like two strippers who fell in love that i never properly fleshed out. rosa (roxanne) who's like angsty and shit and she got into it when she was like twenty/twenty one-ish and she never really got out because like she never went to college after highschool (started working (not as a stripper)) and she didn't have a lot of office work experience since she's been a performer since she was like 20-ish . yeah so basically she makes a lot like a lot a lot idk why she's hot she's rich but she doesn't really enjoy doing it after she's 28-ish because her boyfriends never go anywhere and she wants to travel freely and stuff but it's also not horrible because she likes feeling desired and she likes parties and dressing up and dancing and stuff ykykyk !!! and then there was ishvika (lola) and she's like young and hot and she is so very party girl. she's reckless and sensitive and jumpy and has weird hobbies,, i actually dk what i wanted her backstory to be considering i never ever wrote it down, but her parents divorced and she lived with her dad till he died. she's a trust fund baby lowkey she's working for funsies and to hashtag find her self, started in her mid twenties like 24/25-ish and her and rosa met when she was 26 and rosa was 40, their rsp moved forward veryyy quickly like they moved in together two months after they started dating and they got married in 2 years. actually idk if the marriage part is super duper fast or just normal fast 🤷🏽‍♀️ . anwyay viki's the one who suggests that rosa retire to be a pole dance instructor (they both grew up as dancers !!!) and um rosa does !!! also ishvika's chronically online and she has a decent following on insta or tt and she talks abt rosa all the time but rosa's scared of getting kidnapped and dying so she doesn't show her face grr slkjhgadfcsd.

oh and there's himiko, rosa's hot evil ex situationship which comes as a surprise to viki because to her knowledge she was the only female partner rosa's had ! and valentina who's ishvika's codependent homoerotic girl best friend who creates Problems till she gets into a relationship and ummmmyeah. plus 8000 more. i should probably connect them all in a semi-coherent way if i wanna start posting about them

Some of my hc's about these two!

Their first kiss happened in their Teen Titans days, a dare or a game, something silly and not serious.

Roy was pretty sure he liked boys before, but that was confirmation. Dick did not have a grand sweeping realization as a kid. He didn't look at anyone that way for a much longer time (late teens), he was too busy with everything else in his life, and then he only had eyes for Kory.

Roy helped Dick with archery after that as an excuse to get closer, when Dick showed no interest he kept helping him anyway, but did tone down the flirting.

Dick realized he had some feelings for Roy during Titans99 (insert joke about Wonder Twins here) but Roy and Donna were starting something around that time, and Dick was again far too busy to even think about making a move.

After Donna's death Roy took on the job of shaking Dick out of his funks, a bit of a twist on their previous dynamic. He pushed a lot of his own feelings to the side.

They definitely slept together during Outsiders, it was short lived/a one-off and ended in flames (neither was at their best)

As 2 of the only unpowered people on about every team they've ever been on together they train with each other more than anyone else. They've got a sixth sense when it comes to the other (all of the Fab Five are like this some to be fair) they know where the other is when they walk in a room, and can anticipate each others next action.

They match each other's freak so well most people assume they've been together forever, but they are really just like that.

Both of them have something of a competency kink, Dick's insane acrobatics and Roy's pinpoint accuracy with any projectile make both of them go 👀

Dick normally hates being bossed around, but with Roy he allows it, Roy will catch him, and he can shut off part of his brain for a while.

Imma be real I was a bit disappointed at the Vanny is Vanessa twist because off how it got spoiled already by SteelWool and stuff but I'm fine with it now!!! But oughhh rip my old Vanny design you will be my oc now!! I think I was just bummed because they kept hinting at it and like the first human character revealed and the enemy being a furry is like huh istg if she ends up being the security guard... I think I wouldn't have mind if Ness had more screentime tbh!!

So back then I hoped Vanny was separate from Vanessa and they both had similar names so Glitchtrap wanted to frame Nessie for the murders due to it. Same with Glam Freddy and Greggy think it was Vanessa who was the bad guy at first like gasps Vanessa + Bunny = Vanny!! Also they're both fake blondes and dye their hair often!! (There's more to it but I'd end up rambling)

First time drawing textured hair digitally I hope to improve more on it in the future because oughh Vanny deserves it!!!

Cromorama - Riccardo Falcinelli this book was sooo cool so engaging so interesting, its a look into the history and science of colors but its also so much more rlly one of my favorite nonfictions of all time

The Murderbot Diaries - Martha Wells disclaimer I only read this series up to Rogue Protocol, but I enjoyed it, I rlly liked the characters and the worldbuilding and the short novel format and most of all murderbooottt my best friend murderbot. when im in the mood for scifi again ill read the rest asw I prommyy

On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous - Ocean Vuong this is one of those books that as u read it you can already tell it will stay with you forever, dont be fooled by the shortness every single line will Kill You. it will kill you dead.

The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida - Shehan Karunatilaka probably my fav book of the year, it's beautiful it's gripping it's deep it's scathing it's irreverent it has a careful and deeply cultural magical surrealism it has sociopolitical satire it won the booker prize of 2022 and deserved it so much

Fuori le Palle! Privilegi e Trappole della Mascolinità - Victoire Tuaillon ill be hoooneestt I didn't find this uhh as groundbreaking as I was kinda expecting it to be?? but still it was a nice read and the "flipped" perspective to center the myth of """masculinity""" in a feminist text was interesting. also rlly pretty cover

Lavinia - Ursula K. Le Guin Ursula girl u did it again! constantly rising the bar for all of us!! another stunning book that sadly fell victim to the #girlboss tiktokification but DONT LET THAT STOP YOUUU its sooo good. bitches Love pre-hellenistic latin society <333 bitches love even more when the boundaries between story and characters and reality and fiction blur in such a masterful way that Lavinia can have a conversation with Vergil and it doesn't feel not even the littlest bit forced or out of place <333

Exordia - Seth Dickinson Went in for the giant snake alien/human toxic yuri stayed for the weird mystery body horror stuff almost left for the overabundance of USA military stuff that I just can't be bothered to care about. I liked it way less than the masquerade but it Does have all the classical elements that make it a Seth Dickinson book aka fucked up women. Imperialism Critique. the horrors. the trolley problem. being Very Long. etc

Iron Widow - Xiran Jay Zhao wow guys. this book fucking sucked. like I'm speechless. you'd think that with the crazy popular rep it has it would have smth worth salvaging but uhhh- anyway go stream cocoon by corrupter which is iron widow if it was actually good

Fire from Heaven - Mary Renault nothing more special than a cultured fujo and her special golden shiny perfumed blorbo that everyone wants to fuck so bad <333 finally a book that healed my tsoa related trauma, the only thing that could've made it better is if hephaestion discovered brat taming

The Spear Cuts Through Water - Simon Jimenez beautiful and with such a dreamy magical atmosphere once again I LOVEEE interwoven stories, and I feel like some of the writing's style Choices are so original. it starts a bit slow tbh but I found it impossible to put down from the second half of the book til the end

Voyage of the Damned - Frances White well. it was a cherished super pretty shiny gift from a beloved friend so that's why I finished it but uh. uhhMMMMM uhghhh whhhhfhhmmm uhhhhh hmmmmm uhhhhh. yeah. I'm iconic 💅

Bad Gays: a Homosexual History - Ben Miller, Huw Lemmey ill be honest I didn't expect to like this book as much as I did but its really nice!! its a critique and analysis of white male gayness told through the lives of some Notable Controversial Homos, and I liked how it rlly paints a full picture not only of their lives but also of the socio-political landscape that shaped them and the concept of queernes of the time. only lil gripe tho is why there was only One woman and One Japanese guy then-
