This is a vent post.

I saw this post about wanting to bring back the energy and vibes and community that was in the 2016 era of the UTMV community. And at first I was elated. I joined the fandom in 2017 and I look back fondly on the community I found myself in. Lots of fanfic comments. Lots of RP Roleplays. Lots of Askblog activity and in-character answers and all these wonderful things.

Yes, there were toxic and mean things too. There always are. But I never really found myself in any of it. I only remember the fun and the joy.

And I initially reblogged that post excitedly responding to it. And I went to the blog to see if they posted anything else good.

And I saw their DNI. "Proship DNI".

Their pinned post literally said to me "hey disclaimer just so you know 'i dont support harassment', but if you (also) dont support harassment, if you enjoy shipping, if you think censorship is bad, then don't talk to me because I think youre a terrible person and deserve being harassed."

And they wonder why the 2016 era of UTMV died.

I would have loved to interact. I would have loved to gush about AUs and fanworks and art. But that person left a big sign saying they think I deserve hate for enjoying fiction and that they dont want to talk to me.

Like. Bro. That is kinda the reason youre not getting 2016 UTMV back. You dont wanna associate with "nasty proship" people. Who uh. sorta made UTMV. UTMV (and lets face it, fandom in general) was built on the backs of Proshippers. (although that is sort of an anachronistic statement -- the idea of "proshipping" is new because it was the default, expected political stance. it wasnt "proship vs anti", it was "everyone (aka proship) vs trolls and haters (aka anti)") Then a bunch of haters started being nasty to frans and papyra and fontcest shippers, and puritanical rhetoric ripped apart what was left of the fandom after art theft and the tumblr purge drove the artists away.

The fandom isnt going to knit itself back together unless we foster a community mindset, which we can only do if we all agree to ship-and-let-ship. Block and mute tags you dont like, learn to recognize when an AU isnt for you, and dont play in tags you dont actually like.

But like, just because I like the color Green doesnt mean I cant appreciate Blue or Red. You can hate Green all you want but alienating Green likers is just going to make it harder to live in a society where nobody is making you like Green.

I dunno I just feel like its not fair to ask for a community effort and simultaneously condemn the very people who would have been part of your community for not being good enough for you. It's mean spirited. It's rude. It's cruel.

I want 2017 UTMV back. I would be more than happy to get to see 2016 UTMV with my own eyes. But it isnt coming back, because it takes people to make a community and nobody wants to make a community welcoming and safe.

It'll make the tragedies of this fic hurt all the worse and your tears taste the sweetest

The Frans of this fic is not really a romantic ship as much as it is a HORRIFYING PREDATOR PREY DYNAMIC that is interesting to explore. BUT IN NO WORLD WOULD FRISK EVER FALL IN LOVE WITH THAT IRREDEEMABLE PIECE OF SHIT!?!? Also Sans just sees Frisk as an object (albeit a fascinating one) to conquer.

MULTIVERSAL MAY - Day 24 - FLOWERFELL FRISK (Late)

Broooo- I forgot to post the drawing of day 24 yesterday, I slept very late and forgot about it, so... Day 25 drawing would be posted in the usual hour

Day 24 drawing is FlowerFell Frisk snd I don't gonna lie, I was lazy again, but anyways little cute Frisk with flowers in his face I love this fella so much

And... Well, so much text alert because I gonna talk about my experience and thoughts about the AU like I usually do with this drawings

I at first had mixed feelings about this AU, back in the day when this AU was popular I hate the AU because I think the AU was only a Frans AU and I fucking hated Frans so i hated this AU for a long time

But one day a Video appeared on my YouTube about FlowerFell and at first I ignored that because I hated and I still hating so much Frans for being, well, a pedophile shipp, but It keep appearing and one day I decided to watch it because curiosity, and, MY BOY

Everything make sense, and I felt very sad and VERY upset about the AU's creator situation and all the drama the fandom made for this fucking shitty shipp, how the fandom "loved" the AU so much that imposed his own fantasy and harassment the AU's Creator and destroyed the message that the creator wanted to give in first place:

KINDNESS

Kindness was the last thing this creator have from this "fanbase" of Frans shippers, and I know the time pass, and we should forgive the bad people and keep going, and the owner of FlowerFell isn't in the community anymore and that is what upset me the most, I don't want to forgive and keep going because this people don't deserve that, if we just "forgive and keep going" they will just do this shit to other AUs creators, because they would feel like they can do this things without a consequence.

So this is why I told you this, because I don't think this would be like a thing that we should be forgotten and forgive, because this story would be repeated again if we don't know it and learn about it, and work in make this community a better place for everyone. And yeah I know that today the community isn't the half of toxic that it was back in the 2016-2018, but this is not a message to attack people, this is a call for reflection about the bad things that happen before and we need to prevent that happen again.

Anyways that was a lot of text, sorry if you find it annoying! Remember this situation when I was drawing and making this post makes me have a lot of things to say!

Little Prince au (Starry Eyed Jester)

So from my previous post/reblog, I have a drawing I did of an adult version of Little Prince or Le Petite Prince dressed in greek soldier type outfit. Though I'm debating if I should make it somewhat canon to my au but uh anyways introduction! In case for like bright colors:

This is an AU inspired by @fran-a-magic-fish especially on Insta! (Before Insta decided to suspend my account over some swears curse you Insta)

Called "Starry Eyed Jester" I had tons of inspiration for this au but its mainly inspired by Fran's au and also Hungarian Folktales the story "Starry Eyed Shepard" which was the main inspo. Anyways in this au of the Little Prince, Prince serves under the king as a jester, advisor and somewhat of his adopted child (?). The AU still follows the original story but has a different outcome, and I will admit this its unfinished however I have all the stuff in regards of the adults, Rose, the fox, snake and prince in notes. Also adding personal headcanons and looks on them ofc. Now like the story Prince soon grew down casted by his Rose and decided to leave and with some warnings they may talk about the different types of toxic parents now seen through the adults in all order: King - Strict/Possesive Parents Vain Man - A Vain or Selfish Parents Drunkard - Alcoholic Parents Businessman - Verbally Abusive parents Lamplighter and Geographer - Neglectful parents Pilot - Good Parents With Prince representing youth, childhood or a child as he stays with these adults overtime some of his bright colors began to drain out until he meets the fox and the pilot. There are changes such as names for the planets they inhabit in and especially their roles and maybe some of its world building in this au which I will talk about in another post.

RusAme - 10/10 perfection. the classic america ship to me. no real notes or critique. love it healthy or toxic. love when ivan is possessive and obsessed with al. love when they're fluffy. love when they're mutually kicking the shit out of each other. they're bitter exes. they're best mates. they're rivals. they're married til death do they part amen

(RusAme vs AmeRus (i.e. who's taking it in the butt) is so heavily debated and like. i would say i don't have a dog in this fight, i can respect both sides of the coin but i do prefer a very masculine, dominant characterization of ivan, sorry just being real. alfred is more of a bottom to me. except with france. himbo service top superman.)

USFr - another 10/10, tied with RusAme for my fave except the two ships could not be more different. holding myself back from rambling because y'all know i could go on about them for hours. cougar fran. milf-hunter alfred. mommy and her big strong babyboy husband. dumb blonde power couple. they're so pretty and shiny together and so sweet. need i say more??

(next one is controversial and often considered incestuous. my official stance on this is that i have mixed feelings. i understand why some people dislike it + can empathize. in canon they clearly have a familial relationship. but we're allowed to diverge from canon. i'm also not gonna lie and pretend i don't enjoy the ship in AUs where they're not related)

USUK - ehhhh. 2 or soft 3/10 i really do not like bottom england. BUT (haha butt) if anyone can top him it might be alfred (on occasion). they probably switch but to me arthur could never be 'the wife', to use a heteronormative term. they're homosexual your honor.

UKUS - ohhhh yeah baby. 9/10 when done well. don't get me started. the daddy issues. the banter. the sub/dom aspect. the domestic fluffy bits. the big gay. two differing brands of masculinity. i just love both of these characters so the potential is unlimited. they're so malleable and fun to write. OH and i love UK/Nyo!US <333

Ameripan - solid 8/10. humanverse only. nationverse relations are very complicated to say the least and i'd rather not touch on that. anyway. human AU ameripan is cute as fuck. i can see them working great either platonically or romantically. they bring out the best in each other. alfred helps kiku lighten up and have fun, kiku helps alfred get his shit together. they're a very 'opposites attract' kind of couple. (is it crazy that i want to see kiku take alfred to pound town. am i alone in that.)

Prumerica - platonically 10/10. maybe fwb, but in my opinion they're too similar to work out long term romantically. 6/10. like, the idea is cute, i don't dislike it, but nah. plot twist they're both fran's service top puppy boy guard dog cringefail loser gamer BFs. that could work.

AmeChu - hmm. 4/10. not a lot of strong feelings either way. very much an older/younger ship. i can't imagine yao would have the patience to deal with alfred for very long, plus the age gap is a bit much. i like age gaps but yao is so ancient. i can see al having a crush on him tho. again not a fave but certainly not bad.

Romerica - with nyo!america yes! 8/10. but alfred and lovi i can't really see together bc of their personalities (lovino's temper. he's like arthur but worse) sexy in theory but disastrous in practice. 3/10.

AmeCan - to me they're brothers 99% of the time and i'm not a fan of overt/sibling incest. i'm not gonna hate on it, i just can't really objectively rate something that doesn't have romantic potential. even if they're not biologically related they're platonic to me. 0 ??/10.

AmeLiet - ?? no hate i just don't really know why this is a ship. like i know they interact in the later seasons but i don't get it?? umm 2/10. it would be interesting to see him have a threeway with lietpol.

GerAme - no opinion. not here to hate i just don't see it whatsoever.
