It started out with america and taiwan getting together in the late 2010’s!

After a few months, they both realized “oh shit we have gay crushes on our friends. But we also still very much like each other and want to be together”. And so they looked into polyamory (after deciding they didn’t want an open relationship) and both went “okay hey. Lets see if those two would be up for it”

So then america talked to germany, who was a lil hesitant but agreed to it as long as he made sure taiwan was really okay with it.

Belarus was more open to the idea, but she still went ahead and made sure america was really okay with it.

Then it was a few months after that when the four would go on dates together, and the rest of the relationships developed that way!

(It was germany and Belarus first, then germany and taiwan, then Belarus and america)
