It's not very common, but sometimes a mare is just mean. I've seen mean mares start as dominant mares that are pushed and shoved into aggression by everything from bad training to a bad herd dynamic. Often times there's a negative human element involved.

You know………like Scrubs. It's a bad feedback loop of aggression with them. He's harsh because she's harsh and on and on.

Mean mares take a lot of time, skill, and patient handling to soften, so unless she comes across a better handler that can deal with her horrific attitude and/or he finds a pegasus that tolerates his heavy hand without fighting back, they'll probably just stay in their current """"equalibrium""""".

I've seen that Grian was upset over Scar killing him, not because he killed him, but because he said he wouldn't; and with his word, they had an understanding that that kill would be beneath him.

Though, Scar is a dishonest man, and Grian should know that better than anyone. You can always trust a dishonest man to lie, so why was Grian so surprised he took the cheap kill after he said he wouldn't?

Because Grian thought he knew Scar better. He thought he could recognize when to trust his word, and when to keep an eye out. But he was wrong.

Guys y'know whats worse abt all the dog allegories that can be made w/ the shiny duo this session? Pearl had to communicate with soley body language and generally incomprehesible robo noises in the biggest bits of it towards Gem.

Like, like how dogs can only bark, whine and rely on body language to communicate to their owners. And how owners usually coo at their attempts then indulges them to what they think they want, like how Gem cooed, and when Pearl mistakenly looked towards Lizzie's base, Gem goes "Yeah yeah yeah, Lizzie, go on" to encourage to kill her.
