#FlashbackFriday & #OnThisDate: Happy “Flashback Friday” everyone!! Throwing it back to this day last year (7/2/2020) when “Soul Provider” opened the Town of Schaghticoke Summer’s Eve Concert Series. It had rained earlier that afternoon and once the rain passed through I drove to the concert site to attend their show. Unfortunately, yesterday’s show with “Soul Provider” didn’t happen due to the rain. Hopefully they’ll get another chance to perform some music again and the upcoming summer concerts don’t get rained out. Who exactly is this band you may ask?! They are a Beatles tribute act fronted by guitarist/vocalist & Capital Region’s John Lennon impersonator, Tom Raider. You may have seen Raider perform in “Groovin’”, “The Brits”, & “Hey Jude” as John Lennon. The band certainly put their unique twist to the Fab 4’s songs at the Town of Schaghticoke 2020 Summer Concert Series on 7/16. #FlashbackFriday: Happy Flashback Friday everyone!! The Town of Schaghticoke Summers Eve’s Concert Series has been putting on some great shows this summer and who I saw these past few weeks have been quite spectacular!! Both “Skeeter Creek” (last Thursday)& last night’s “Dashboard Anthem” shows were awesome and brought out the biggest crowds this concert series has seen this year. It’s been almost 2 years since I last saw “Dashboard Anthem” perform live and last year, I watched “Skeeter Creek” open up the 2019 Power’s Park Concert Series!! Awesome job everyone & thank you Skeeter Creek & Dashboard Anthem for your music!! I had a blast!! The rain cleared for me to drive to Melrose to listen to my friends in “Soul Provider” perform some great music for the evening!!
