Underground assault – construction of ancient
Tumblr media
Pixel art for today based on videogame Ultima Underworld for computer system IBM PC MS DOS. Excellent system with lots of different game. And racing games and role playing games. And games, that are more simple and more complex.
So, here we have some interesting videogame. It is about dungeons. Explore of dungeons. Such genre known as dungeon crawler. And, even more, with view from eyes, first person view. About universe Ultima. So, a lots of interesting in this description, straight at once. Whole adventure in world of dungeons. Character training. Most like these, scenes you can expect with excitement in your imagination. How you will get this or that spell, to grind a new armor, walking in labyrinth. And, you become a high level character with some time. As, I can say, you spent your time with some value! It is not useless, it most best time in life!
And, this is my drawing based on the same theme. Dungeons. How much into this world for a true expert of role playing games.  You can dive into them for hours. Exploring one labyrinth after another one. Go deeper and deeper. For most lowest floors. Where something, really something, is going on. Something, that is hard to imagine without fear.
It is with fear to imagine for low level characters. And about a high level character, he is, already, boring, and he needs most lowest floors of labyrinth. So, here it is main, so do self upgrade and all time training and grind. But, certain this things, rpg fans are like most of all.  To update a number a little higher for your character. To train intelligence, strength, and other parameters. To get in your hands this super sword, exotic sword or to be ready to use certain this spell. Something that interesting spell, very interesting. Wall out of plants, Meteor strike, Poison cloud, ice storm. How much of interesting you can learn! To take in your hand a crystal sword, fire long sword  +1, or rapier of rain +2, or kris +2 poison cloud. What useful items are laying in the dungeons!
At the island, in the ocean of storms, there is a big construction, abandoned. Nobody knows who made this. It is 100 floors. And they are going deeper. These were abandoned after some ancients, nobody see them for a centuries. And there are most amazing places into this labyrinth. Floors of ice, floors with lava and volcano eruption. And who knows what is it at the last floors. Some speaks, a way to another worlds.
Alternative title – storm underground

Any recommendations for high fantasy games that primarily focus on social interaction? Ideally while still having a system for PC advancement/support for long-term play.
THEME: Social High Fantasy
Hello friend, so typical disclaimer: some of the elements of these games fit one part of your request more than the other. So there will be some that are much more high fantasy and much less social. Others will be very very social, while having less high fantasy. I hope you still find something that hits the sweet spot!

SapphicWorld, by Darling Demon Games.
Sapphicworld is a work-in-progress queer and kinky (18+) TTRPG, with a focus on understanding others, exploring lush realms and bravely facing the strange.
The moves in Sapphicworld are intensely focused on changing your relationships with each-other. Hold My Heart is all about revealing a part of yourself and letting the other see something vulnerable and private about you. Twirl Together is a dance, and can bring about subtle changes or definitions of your relationships. I Beg of You is a request that you can make (forgiveness, a kiss, help), putting power into the other person’s hands and waiting to see what they do with it.
Character playbooks house various alterations to the basic moves and specific prompts about Fighting, Flirting and Friendship, which altogether guide the player towards a specific kind of play: The Twink Controversial has fallen from a place of power but is more than willing to stir up some shit, for example.
The link above is for the Ashcan, which is not a fully playable verison of the game, but rather a teaser to the full thing. If you want the current playtest version, it looks like the best place to get it is currently the Darling Demon Games Patreon.
Iron Edda Accelerated, by TheOtherTracy.
A game of brave warriors fighting to keep their homes, lives, and freedom. It is a game of magic and intrigue.  It is the story of ordinary people who fight alongside the towering skeletons of long-dead giants.
It is the story of those who embrace an unknown afterlife to bond themselves to those giant bones.  It is the story of those who cling to tradition and to the power that their roles in society gives them, even though all crumbles around them.  It is the story of a world irrevocably changed.
It is the story of Ragnarok, Fimbulwinter, the end of time itself.
Iron Edda is built off of FATE, which uses descriptive phrases to build your character. One of those descriptive phrases (also called an Aspect) is explicitly relational, creating a tie between you and another character. In many cases this relationship can be leveraged to give you an advantage, and every once in a while, it might also be leveraged against you.
FATE games outline four basic types of actions: attack, defend, overcome, and create and advantage, and while they certainly can be used in a physical arena, these types of actions can be translated into a social arena as well. A Social attack will probably target your reputation, and might inflict a negative aspect such as Embarrassed on you, or might even give you a mental consequence. Your social actions can also carry great weight when it comes to determining what kinds of words will require action to back them up - after a all, your status is only worth how far you’re willing to go to back it up. If you want to learn more, the play sessions with Jeff Stormer on Party of One is a great example of how this game can focus on relationships and social power.
Together Is The Guild, by Robin Naite.
Welcome to Together is the Guild. A Fantasy Roleplaying Game where you will find yourself with a group of individuals aiming to make the best guild in this magical world! You must work together to survive the threats of rival guilds, nobles, towers, and everything else the world throws at you!
Legends say that on a bright day in the morning sun from the top of the 5 towers in Portnia, you can see a 6th tower at the centre of the Limbo. Only a select few know the truth… Join together, create a guild, and rise up the ranks to become the next legends. Or conquer all these towers and close them forever!
There are four stats in Together is the Guild that relate to social skills: Performance, Intimidation, Diplomacy, and Sway. Because it’s Forged in the Dark, I can see plenty of problems that can be solved socially, although I don’t think they necessitate social solutions. When your characters go on missions or whatever the equivalent of that is in this game, they’ll probably choose an option that plays to their strengths, which means that if you encourage your players to focus on social strengths, they might run a con more often than an assassination.
However, another thing that I think games like this provide that may boost the social game a little bit is the way your connections are used during game-play. You have a best friend and a rival that you establish at character creation, and both of these connections are resources. Your friend is a resource who can give you aid and information related to whatever field they have, while your rival is a resource for the GM - a way to complicate a mission, make it more personal or more difficult.
There’s also Guild reputation in this game, and I think the fact that it can fluctuate according to how you carry out your missions is a great way to really communicate consequences to the group. If the crew reputation spikes up too quickly, other factions may see you as a threat and try to take you down a peg, especially if you’re dangerous. If you get a messy or dangerous rep, your guild will be treated very differently than if you get a subtle or professional rep. From my experience with Blades, this rep will only have as much weight as you’re willing to give it, but I think it’s definitely a tool worth picking up and playing with.
Hillfolk, by Pelgrane Press.
In an arid badlands, the hill people hunger. Your neighbours have grain, cattle, gold. You have horses and spears, courage and ambition. Together with those you love and hate, you will remake history—or die.
With the Hillfolk roleplaying game, you and your group weave an epic, ongoing saga of high-stakes interpersonal conflict that grows richer with every session. Its DramaSystem rules engine, from acclaimed designer Robin D. Laws, takes the basic structure of interpersonal conflict underlying fiction, movies and television and brings it to the world of roleplaying. This simple framework brings your creativity to the fore and keep a surprising, emotionally compelling narrative constantly on the move.
Hillfolk is well respected for the way it leverages relationships and debts as core systems in the game. There are mechanics here that centre on makign demands and requests from each-other, weaving relationships of debt, favours, and power exchanges. Those who have resources will find themselves inundated with demands from others, and denying those demands so many times will have social ramifications. Your characters will also have personal desires that motivate them, and those desires will be tied to what other people can give them: approval, power, love, punishment, etc. If you want a game full of drama and social weight, you want Hillfolk.
Trilogy, by Ben Moxon.
Trilogy is a tabletop RPG designed for epic fantasy campaigns. Build your world at the table, create characters to explore it and let the adventure commence.Trilogy is designed specifically for players who want to discover their world in play rather than having to consult settings guides and books of existing lore. A world that lives and grows around you, shared by everyone at the table.
Trilogy is a long-term high fantasy game inspired by epic fantasy series like Lord of the Rings and Malazan Book Of The Fallen. The character arcs that are present in this game provide a lot of interesting advancement options, guiding you to play according to type and rewarding you for certain actions that further your story. I don’t think that social interaction is the specific focus for Trilogy, but it’s certainly an important piece.
Character arcs like the Mentor, the Leader, the Healer and The Chancer depend on social interaction, whether that be teaching, leading, healing or fooling others. There are universal moves for figuring out other people, persuading others, and entering a battle of wits. The game is also Powered by the Apocalypse, which is a game design philosophy that often encourages players to get entangled with each-other and with the world. If you want a fantasy epic that provides moments that zoom in on the characters and allows them to grow over time, you might like Trilogy.
The Spine of Eternity: Everybody Wants to Be A Star, by Eva Terra
The Spine of Eternity, a massive spire that after much discussion has been agreed on by those who live there to have no beginning or ending. A land ruled by the laws of fiction where fame is power and perception is reality, where the most powerful get to live on postmortem as stars and influence the living. Many accept early on that stardom is something only very few will ever reach. They hold on to the belief that there is a fundamental difference between the common folk and the stars.
But not you.
You will reach for the stars no matter that you will have to claw your way to the top. No matter that they told you good luck despite everyone knowing the system is rigged. No matter that they break you in ways that you will never recover from, that you will never be the same. Nothing less than being equal to the stars will be enough for you.
Spine of Eternity: Everybody Wants to be a Star is a Powered by the Apocalypse Tabletop Role Playing Game about a modern fantasy setting where adventurers are streamers who travel the land to help the people, defeat tyrants and earn fame to reach the stars.
Even though I don’t own a copy, I think The Spine of Eternity has a lot of potential to give you socially complex situations because of the way that relationships are woven into the character arcs. For example, the Bound has a Patron who they’re legally or magically beholden do, and the Bastion is responsible for keeping the party safe, even if that means becoming their scapegoat. The game is also about folks who are seeking popularity and stardom, which means that they’ll need to know how to work the crowds of people who would launch them to stardom. The game is also PbtA, which I think increases it’s chances of being able to really deliver in terms of interesting social drama.
Witches Loving Wetlands, by Emily Zhu.
Witches Loving Wetlands is a game about swamps, marshes, bogs, fens, and finding love in the face of imperialism.
In Witches Loving Wetlands, witches can choose to work together, or against each-other as they find their lands encroached upon by a ruthless invader. The relationships between your witch characters can lead to interesting stories about aid and betrayal, and lending each-other your power - in fact, you will have to steal or borrow the power of your neighbours if you want to be able to hold your own.
I think this game is also an excellent commentary on the realities of folks who normally live separate from each-other, when they’re forced to acknowledge that they can only defeat a common enemy if they work together.
Also... @monsterfactoryfanfic... hi. I think this would be a really neat thing to dive into more.

Gamer Ranking
(Modern au / any au where they’re given access to video game consoles really)
Abella: A hardcore nostalgia gamer. Only plays on PC (built it herself). Bethesda hater and still won’t let it go. Has a picture of Todd Howard in her desk drawer with his eyes cut out. Her favorite series is fallout and has a solid year worth of time spent on New Vegas alone. Well known in the TF2 community. Used to have a competitive record in Tetris, but lost her touch from spending too much time at work. Favorite games are factorio, subnautica and terraria.
August: Calls every console a ‘Nintendo’. Calls on Abella for help with his computer frequently. It’s still on windows 7. Favorite game is solitaire.
Daan: Wouldn’t call himself a ‘gamer’, but has a steam account which he opens once in a while. Prefers narrative based horror games or puzzle games. Never spends more than 7 dollars on a game. Favorite games are bioshock, disco elysium, signalis and pathologic.
Henryk: Likes to dip his toes into a little bit of everything, but never able to get into the gamer scene. Owns a perfectly good PS4 that sits neglected and unused. Likes to talk about the nostalgia of his favorite games when he was younger and how modern games aren’t as fun. He also just has no taste. Favorite games are detroit: become human, fallout 4, borderlands, until dawn, bully and minecraft (the type of guy who always wants to make a big group world, and then when it’s made he never uses it). Abella trashes his collection.
Karin: Runs every game on her shitty company work laptop. Likes roguelikes, or any game that has a satisfying ‘tactile’ feeling game loop. A big resident evil fan, but they make her computer ‘make weird noises’. Favorite games are: Ultrakill, pizza tower, project zomboid, and multiplayer games like phasmophobia and lethal company. Currently has an obsession with Balatro that has gotten her in trouble with her boss. Has been known to play Fortnite regularly. Note: she’s BAD.
Levi: Definitely prefers 3D horror games. Nothing actually scares him though. Favorite games are amnesia: the bunker, alien isolation and the forest. Fromsoft fan, favorite game was bloodborne. He owns a decent gaming laptop and a PS2 where he plays tony hawk pro skater. Also likes half life, silent hill and the shin megami tensei series.
Marcoh: He owns a crunchy ass Nintendo DSi where he plays some pokemon like, once in a blue moon. He already finished the game 7 years ago but will never delete the file. If you look into it you’ll see that his starter is like level 100 and everything else is level 8. Never learned how to play, probably never will. Not a gamer.
Marina: Marina is a visual novel supremacist who downloaded the entire Fate series off a shady backdoor website that probably did something horrible to her computer. She loves horror, but is also not opposed to lighter fantasy stuff. Doesn’t like games that have no story. Favorites are the WTC series (Umineko supremacist), tsukihime, melty blood and rance. General classic nerd stuff.
Olivia: She runs a custom steam deck with a really cute pastel purple layout. She’s pirated the sims with every single dlc + a disgusting amount of mods (including That mod 😏) and it took up so much space she had to put in a 2 TB sd card to hold it. She likes all kinds of games, but has a preference for games with heavy writing/plot. Favorite games are SOMA, Mouthwashing, Stay out of the house (Really any games by kittyhorrorshow, puppet combo or yames) and Who’s Lila. Similar taste to Daan, but likes her games more gory.
Osaa: Probably the worst gamer of all time. Even mobile games are confusing to him. Always complains that the screen is too bright, even at the darkest setting. All games bore him. Horror games are juvenile. Story games are predictable. Action games are a waste of time. Don’t bother.
…Favorite game: Papa’s Burgeria or Bloons Tower Defense.
Pav: Favorite game series is metal gear solid. Owns a PS3. Another ‘nostalgia gamer’ who won’t touch modern games. Likes the typical PlayStation stuff like GTA, Assassin’s Creed, and New Vegas. Yes, he’s the type of person to play COD. Doesn’t have time to play games much anymore due to work (thank god).
Samarie: The same kind of visual novels as Marina, but worse. Big into denpa horror. Yes, she plays eroge. Has no one to talk about her niche vns with. Favorite games are cross channel, saya no uta (of course), chaos head and gore screaming show. She also read homestuck (which is technically classified as a denpa on the visual novel database, so….)
Tanaka: The number 1 mobile gamer in the world. Clicks on every single weird ad he gets with no hesitation. Like a cocomelon baby. Top of the worldwide charts in candy crush for 3 weeks straight. Plays these apps in public with the sound on. No shame.

hello! i hope i can participate in your game!! 💗
i think based on your big three in groom pc, they’ll dress more uniform-y? cap rising, virgo sun screams simple, formal but comfortable yet effortless, soo in that sense more somber colours, matched outfits, clean + but with that sag moon comes the fun part, maybe there’s like a tattoo or something on them, a little fun baseball cap or a jersey or a hoodie that’s colourful. so here’s what i think they’d tend to wear more often than not! + and my groom pc is also attached there!! 💗💗 thank you 💗💗
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
HELLO UwU thank you for your patience!!
Cheat sheet for understanding: I use the degree theory to help me see external influences in the GPC.
OK! so let's get into your chart!! The first thing  I want to focus on is the stellium in cancer in the 4th house which is honestly so favorable because cancer is home here!  With the sun in cancer with the 13th degree (Aries)  I think that he will be very warm and cuddly with a hit of spice! To be honest I get best friend vibes here, Or it could be a person that you grew up with or possibly someone your family introduces you to. I say this because cancer rules the home and also it rules domestic life. Hmm .. Also with Venus here (12 degree/Pisces) and Mercury (13 degree/Aries ) I am under the impression that they are very easy to speak with. They could be slightly shy or you may have to warm him up in order to speak with them. (That’s why I think that you guys are family friends, or acquaintances because that shyness/barrier is already broken). With Jupiter in the 6th in Leo in the (18th degree/Virgo) this person is very driven to routine. They may work from home or thrive in a space that they can control. Also since Jupiter loves teaching,  you might crave a partner who both inspires you to be better and wants to learn from your daily life hacks. You’ll bond over life lessons like how to find joy in making your bed or organizing your schedule... and you’ll both get ridiculously into it 📚✨
For pisces ascendant! Think ethereal beauty, like a mythical sea nymph or a character straight out of a fantasy novel. And those eyes? Oh, those eyes! They're often large, expressive, and carry that classic "Pisces gaze"... like you're looking into another dimension. It's that dreamy, almost fish-like quality that makes people feel like you're not quite of this world. You might catch them lost in thought, wondering what secrets swim in the depths of your soul.
Hair-wise, I'm getting major mermaid vibes. Think soft, flowing locks in shades of warm brown or sun-kissed blonde. It's the kind of hair that looks like it's been kissed by the ocean breeze, effortlessly beautiful and a little bit wild. Now, let's talk style! Pisces Rising loves anything that feels soft, fluid, and comfortable. Loose, flowy fabrics, and anything that lets them move with grace and ease. And height? Well, Jupiter, the planet of expansion and abundance, rules Pisces, so they might just be blessed with some extra inches! They could be towering above the crowd, or maybe got that "fluffy" Jupiterian vibe soft, cuddly, and radiating warmth. Either way, they have a presence that fills the room, a gentle giant or a comforting embrace.
Okay, let's talk about Pluto in the 9th house, one of those placements that screams deep, intense personal growth through higher learning, spirituality,💫
Pluto is the planet of transformation, rebirth, and hidden power… basically, it’s all about breaking down the old to make space for something way better. And the 9th house? That’s the house of higher education, philosophy, travel, and expanding your mind beyond the basics. So when Pluto shows up here, it’s like bringing a wrecking ball to everything you thought you knew. But it’s not just for the chaos Pluto wants you to evolve. I can see him wanting to dig deep. If they’re studying something in Uni perhaps think psychology, philosophy, the occult, or anything that asks big, tough questions. Also This placement makes people question EVERYTHING. Like, what's the meaning of life? What's the truth? What’s power?

Writing Interview Tag Game!
Thanks for the tag @lastlight-inn! 🥰
When did you start writing?
TBH, that's hard to pin down! I was drawing clumsy comics with story lines as early as 4th grade (so like 9 or 10ish?) - and I've always had a thing for telling stories. I don't think I started earnestly writing until maybe 12. But I know for sure I was writing in middle school, and was well and truly into it in high school. There was a brief once-upon-a-time I thought about going that way for a career (but I also considered being an artist or musician ha).
Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?
So, I find I often write a lot darker than I read. Broadly speaking, I read a lot of fantasy, sci-fi, and some non-fiction. But I write predominantly fantasy. I've dabbled in sci-fi, but I find it a lot harder (perhaps because I'm quite picky about science accuracy).
But thematically, I much prefer to read romances and lighter hearted drama. I think my writing might lean a bit darker than I typically consume (more focus on harsh/traumatic topics).
Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?
Ahhh this is so hard to answer. I've not had anyone really compare my work to others (at least not by name). I don't try to copy anyone's style, but I definitely am influenced by many.
If I have to pick some - Oliver Sacks, Tolkien, and GRRM.
Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?
Well! I have several!
My main office is in an open loft in the second floor of my house - past the railings are large picture windows that look out into my woods and let in a lot of natural light. I've got an L shaped desk stocked with supplies/notebooks/snacks. It looks like the kind of organized chaos one expects with ADHD.
On the left hand is an easel for painting/drawing, and on the right hand is my dual monitor set up (slightly lofted). My space is covered in cute knickknacks and things my husband has made for me. He's a wood worker, so there's lots of cute little things - including a little ghost and a miniature zen garden. I also have an owl skull and spine. My keyboard/mouse/mat and wrist pads are all space themed, as is the desktop (not that you can ever see it.) Beside my desk is my behemoth, very colorful PC tower I built myself (named Eureka).
I also have a yoga laptop that doubles as my writing on the go platform and drawing tablet (named Epiphany). I'll take it downstairs to write on my armchair, or into one of the bedrooms for some more quiet and soft surfaces. And I also take it with me on trips. Had a nice period on vacation at the beach where I got to write in a rocking chair on the porch looking out at the ocean. Ahh... (take me back :sob:)
Very occasionally I will write on my phone. But this is mostly just for notes and short form RP sort of writing.
What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?
So aside from becoming obsessed with something (e.g. media or my own imagined world) usually I get my ideas via listening to music or taking a shower.
Or, inevitably, whenever I'm doing something else that doesn't give me time to write. I wrote several chapters of my novel while writing my dissertation... procrasti-writing.
Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?
On the positive side: found family, loving through pain, helping each other to heal, platonic love.
On the less positive side: the effects of trauma, the way danger and stress hurts our bodies and our minds. Fighting through adversity and oppression. Chronic pain/conditions.
I'm not super surprised by either of these, really - they're all a big part my scientific life too. Before I left clinical practice I primarily helped individuals recover from trauma and addiction - and that involved a lot of working on finding self worth. My research was all devoted to studying stress and cognition - and I tried to pioneer new work on intrusive cognitions. I think this probably comes out heavily in my writing for fun, too.
What is your reason for writing?
Fun, mostly. Catharsis. And a bit of dissociating, I suppose. I've always just kind of had the urge to spew stories out into the world, even if it's just for me. I also write to connect with others.
Is there any specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating?
Ohhhh, any comment makes me incredibly happy. If someone says they like something specific I am over the moon. I'm especially thrilled to hear anyone connecting with or caring about my OC characters.
When another writer I really admire or respect gives me a comment or praise (like @alpydk or @sorceresssundries) my little heart feels ready to burst! Recently had the absolute delight of having friends read and react in real time to some of my work and gooood grief is that ever motivating. (@crimson-and-lavender and @lastlight-inn I'm looking at you lol)
How do you want to be thought about by your readers?
I want to be approachable and interesting as a person. I hope people want to read my work or even collab.
I want my writing to be novel, engaging, and exciting. I want to subvert their expectations, but also tell them a story that's approachable and will resonate with them.
Mostly I want my writing to make others feel (good).
What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?
The longer I've been writing things - honestly, I think it's patience. Being willing to change ideas, move them around, or even abandon them if need be. It took a long time to be okay with those things.
How do you feel about your own writing?
Oh, we have a love hate relationship. I know I can be a bit...verbose. But I also find my own writing pretty fun and interesting. I know I've done a pretty good job if I enjoy re-reading it.
Tagging some lovely mooots with affectionate no-pressure boops: @abysskeeper, @feedthepheasants, and an open tag for any other lovelies that want to!

Here's a random rec to anyone who likes to read/watch Dungeon Meshi if you're into video games as well:
Touhou Mystia's Izakaya (PC, apparently coming to Switch soon) and What Did I Do To Deserve This My Lord (PSP).
Touhou Mystia's Izakaya is a cooking restaurant sim where you wander the different areas in the world during the day to collect food, do quests, and barter and so on. But during night you prepare the restaurant and then serve food catered to your customers' orders and individual tastes. (So kind of Recettear but the store is a food cart.) This means that as time goes on you might wind up serving anything from grilled eel with tea to mushroom hot pot and a cocktail.
As for What Did I Do to Deserve This My Lord? (Also known as "Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman" in America, but 2 came with 1 and used that title sooo... that's what I remember it as). It's a PSP RTS Strategy-Puzzle game in the style of a Tower Defense (kind of) where you have to build up monster ecosystems to prevent the hero from capturing the evil overlord.
For obvious reasons I have no idea if there is a game that plays out like the series properly but hey at least there's some games with the ecosystem or catering food to fantasy beings as the main focus rather than a minigame or side-thing.

SFW
How you met: You hated looking at it. It made you squirm with discomfort, this thing which had popped up in the middle of your living room. You wondered if you should just go for a walk and hope it would be gone by the time you returned. But no, that would not be the responsible thing to do. Steeling yourself, you approached the weird hole. It was a deep purple swirl of miasma which smelled strangely of petrichor. You peered into it even though your very soul recoiled at the sight of the weird hole. “Uhm, excuse me, would you mind lending me a hand?” You heard a man’s voice politely inquire. You wondered why the hole needed help from you. “Just grab my hand and give it a little tug, could you?” Suddenly a human hand popped out. You being a kind soul obliged and would yourself with an armful of Gale Dekarios who looked around your house with a dazed expression before standing upright and thanking you profusely. You waved off his thanks and after a beat of awkward silence due to there being a strange man standing in your house, you remembered your manners. “Would you- like some tea?” You decided to offer, to which Gale gave a pleased affirmative. You made him some tea, and in the process got to know him better as well as satisfy your curiosity on how he had ended up here. You found that you had a lot in common, and he quickly noticed you were a big reader, and the conversation flowed easily from there. You both met regularly from then on, and if that meant tolerating a couple more weird holes here and there, you were willing to bear that in exchange for Gale’s company.
You and Gale would cozy up together with a couple of good books at his tower in Waterdeep with the Tressym curled up on your lap and your cat purring peacefully on Gale’s lap.
Gale heartily approves your dislike of spiders. He would be horrified if you were to even touch a spider, let alone lick a spider. Twice.
Both you and Gale are nerdy, polite and a little bit awkward. You would just be dancing around each other, fumbling your confessions until you finally got it right and started dating. After that you both would be inseparable.
Gale, knowing your love for fantasy and magic, would miss no opportunity to show off his spell repertoire in front of you. Whether it be creating stunning illusions or small acts like using mage hand to reach the tall shelf even when he could easily just walk over and do it.
Gale would enjoy getting sassed by you and could match you in wit. Although occasionally it does serve to ground him in reality since he can be egotistical sometimes.
You’d catch Gale, staring at your hair with a small dopey smile for quite a while. Many months into dating he’d just stare and look into your eyes a bit embarrassed everytime you catch him. You can tell it’s a look of adoration. One day you’ll probably just have to offer to let him touch your hair because he will never ask. He’ll always think that it’s rude to ask to touch someone’s hair. When you do let him, he’ll be very gentle on your curls, and he’ll watch them bounce with awe.
He’d be fascinated by the hobbies available in the modern world. He’d be really bad at any sort of video game be it on a console or PC so you’d have to teach him a bit on the controls. He’d compare himself to wizards in video games and anime claiming that they haven’t learnt about the weave as well as he has.
Gale loves telling you dad jokes, in fact that’s all the jokes he knows. “Why did the chicken cross the road?”…looks around before answering his own question “because he saw a zebra crossing,” and laughs uncontrollably. He will always have a one liner, it is Gale’s wholesome quality.
Gale loves to show you the beauty of the weave. When you’re feeling a bit peckish, you know you can always go to Gale and he’ll conjure up sweets and bread just the way you like it. And surprisingly, you don’t know how, but they’re always fresh.
N/SFW
1. Even Though he is a gentleman, he is still a man. His eyes often linger on your figure, admiring the curves. He then scolds himself for being no better than a beast. Needless to say he will court you in bed slowly, but surely.
2. Being locked away for a long time in his tower, Gale’s own tower hasn’t seen much action in a while. Equally as shy as you, Gale would start with holding your hand and slowly working up the intimacy between you both so you always feel comfortable.
3. Your motherly behaviour is not something Gale thought he would sexualize. Something about your soft, nurturing side brings out a newfound breeding kink. He’d talk to you about it before ever cumming in you. He loves watching you squirm under him with every thrust until his cum fills up your womb.
4. One day Gale watched you fill your chubby cheeks with sweets. The staring developed thoughts in his head. That night while his cock is deep inside your pussy Gale commanded, “Open your mouth.” You obeyed and Gale spat in your mouth, with two fingers squeezing your cheeks. He groaned watching the liquid spilling out slightly from your lips.
5. Loves to give deep kisses while he’s thrusting you in missionary position. He will wrap his arms around you, while his legs tangle with yours. The closeness turns him on.
6. Gale loves using astral projections in the bedroom, he asks you to close your eyes and takes you to a far away star in the universe where you both have sex together using his magic.
7. Gale loves it when you give him hickeys. He’s your man and he likes to get marked. He wants the world to know you chose him. He groans heavily when you suck on his skin leaving marks. Especially around his thighs when giving blowjobs.
8. Gale likes to eat you out. He licks your folds in and out, he loves your taste. He’s taken time to learn your anatomy, Gale knows where your clit is and loves to flick it with his tongue.
9. Gale knows about your condition and will always ask permission before trying out new sex positions and make sure it does not bring you any discomfort. Due to him constantly reading books, he definitely wants to try some Kama sutra positions.
10. Gale is the best at aftercare, he loves cuddles and would most likely burrito you both in a blanket, wrapping his arms around you and talk about literally anything in the world.
yours magically,

Lost Soul Aside launches May 30 - Gematsu
Tumblr media
Action RPG Lost Soul Aside will launch for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on May 30, publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer UltiZero Games announced. Digital pre-orders will begin on February 19.
Here is an overview of the game, via game director Yang Bing:
■ About
The wait is finally over. This is Yang Bing, as the creator of Lost Soul Aside, I couldn’t be more excited to share some big news—our action RPG will officially launch on PlayStation 5 and PC on May 30, 2025! What started as a one-person dream (me, a computer, and endless late nights) has evolved into a sprawling adventure full of breathtaking visuals and adrenaline-pumping combat. Let me take you behind the scenes to explore the heart, soul, and sweat poured into this game. Whether you’re here for the stylish combat or the gripping story, there’s plenty to dive into. Let’s get started!
A World That Lives and Breathes
Creating the world of Lost Soul Aside was like painting with imagination on a sci-fi fantasy canvas. You’ll traverse landscapes that feel alive: sunlit plains, mysterious ancient ruins, and alternate dimensions that buzz with energy. This world isn’t just eye candy—it’s filled with secrets, monsters, and unpredictable events that keep you interested. But let’s talk about what really defines the experience—combat.
Combat That Packs a Punch
My goal was simple: make combat so fluid, fast, and stylish that you never want to put the controller down. Kaser’s shape-shifting weapon adapts to your combat style. Are you a precise swordsman? A fan of devastating ranged attacks? Maybe you like high-speed mobility? Whatever your preference, the different type of weapons will serve you well. One standout moment during development was designing the boss battles. The fight with a towering dragon remains one of my personal favorites. It challenges you to juggle aerial dodges, perfectly timed counters, and relentless strikes. Not to mention, it’s a visual feast that feels like being part of your own epic action movie. Beneath the flashy moves, there’s depth for players who love to experiment. You can customize loadouts, chain synergistic combos, and strategize with Arena, Kaser’s dragon-like companion. His abilities aren’t just support—they’re game-changers, turning tough battles in your favor when used wisely. From moment-to-moment clashes with enemies to massive set-piece battles, combat in Lost Soul Aside is designed to keep you on the edge of your seat, pushing your skills to the limit while rewarding creativity and precision.
A Story Close to My Heart
While combat takes center stage, Lost Soul Aside also weaves in a narrative about Kaser’s journey of redemption and discovery. As he uncovers the truth about Arena and their shared power, players will encounter a mix of personal challenges and high-stakes conflicts. The story focuses on creating memorable moments and connections, offering surprises without overwhelming the gameplay experience. And yes, there’s plenty of drama, because who doesn’t love a good gasp-worthy moment?
Made for PlayStation
Lost Soul Aside was built with PlayStation in mind, and I’m thrilled about the enhancements we’ve implemented:
Lightning-fast load times – With the PS5 SSD, you’ll transition seamlessly between exploration and combat.
DualSense controller magic – Feel the tension of every blade swing with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.
4K eye candy – The world comes alive in stunning detail with dynamic lighting and meticulously crafted environments.
PC players, don’t worry—the game is fully optimized to deliver smooth performance and retains all the core gameplay features.
■ Pre-Order Bonuses and Deluxe Edition
We’re excited to reveal the exclusive rewards for those who jump in early:
Pre-Order Bonuses
Kaser’s original outfit from the game’s earliest reveal, giving players a nostalgic look back at how it all began.
A starter pack of in-game currency to help you kick off your adventure.
A bundle of healing potions, perfect for those challenging early game battles.
Get your hands on the standard edition of Lost Soul Aside for $59.99 / £59.99/ €69.99/ ¥7,980 MSRP. There will also be a Digital Deluxe Edition of the game. The Digital Deluxe edition of Lost Soul Aside ($69.99 / £69.99/ €79.99/ ¥8,980 MSRP) will include the game, all the preorder incentives, as well as Arena’s exclusive golden outfit, three unique weapon fragment skins, two in-game accessories that provide useful boosts for your journey, a Digital Soundtrack and Artbook. Embark on an epic odyssey to save your sister and the whole of humankind from dimensional invaders in Lost Soul Aside—a stylish single player action adventure RPG. Fated Rantings: Clocktowers & Business Hours
Tumblr media
Alright! After getting the Waver praise out of my system let's ramble about other aspects of the anime that I loved.
I'll link part one here if you're curious. (<- click)
Now then where do I even begin?
Tumblr media
The world building
Why with the Clocktower of course! That is easily my favorite thing about what I watched. El Melloi shows me the broader mage world that I've only seen referenced till now.
Sure, I've seen vids on how the society works or the Clocktowers role but it's another thing actually seeing it as Waver navigates the setting. Whether he's solving cases or teaching his class I enjoy seeing Type-Moon's reality in motion.
I also generally like the atmosphere this place has. Not sure if it's due to the London setting or the older aesthetic of the places Waver visits but I find them homey. I'd like to be there in a sense.
...well in spirit. The mage world is ruthless so actually being there may get you killed.
It is also fun to just see the small details. Any Fate fan knows that most mages avoid modern technology so they have magical items doing things our tech would or just not bother at all.
For example, you often see golems cleaning the halls or how the phones are older models. Even the internet café Waver goes to for grading papers is set in an old building within walking distance of the tower.
Tumblr media
It does a good job of giving it a fantasy feel despite it being the modern day.
You also see the slow bleeding of modernity into this world. Waver's whole class is in a department that focus' on modern magecraft and how to adapt to the technological world.
This doesn't mean they use computers but the class does reinterpret much of old magecraft into newer simpler forms. Given how magecraft is rooted in mystery and tradition (it literally only works for those reasons) the mages look down upon it yet they let it exist because they can't deny the changing of time.
Some mages even use modern technology. Caules and Flat have a expensive PC in their dorm room and Waver himself plays japanese video games due to his time with Iskandar.
The modern world is bleeding in but it still hasn't lost that fantasy charm.
Tumblr media
The Classroom I'd actually like to visit
Although the anime used them sparingly I do find the class Waver teaches endearing. I wish the characters had gotten more time to shine in the anime.
I want to know why Svin boarders on being a Gray stalker or why Flat idolizes Waver. Hell, I'm fascinated as to why someone from an old mage lineage like Luvia would want him to be her tutor.
Yes, I gushed about Waver's talents in the part one but I know that as an outside observer. I want to know why SHE desires his tutelage. Luvia is by no means hurting in skill or intelligence.
Heck, I'd even like to learn more about Yvette as cracked as that girl is in the head. Is she really a spy? Why does she want to be Wavers mistress? I am genuinely intrigued by these chaotic misfits that Waver has to deal with.
I may begin the manga adaption just to see more of them no joke.
Tumblr media
Reines motherf**ck Melloi
Then there was this chaotic lil shit. I was glad she got as much time in the anime as she did and even then I wanted to see her more. Part of that is because I am mischievous by nature and this child is a troll. I enjoy her antics.
She's also just a good example of how even the more calm mages in their society are just fuckin crazy. She kidnapped Waver when she was only like 11 or 12 years old.
It wasn't even for nefarious reasons, she just wanted to meet the man that put the Mellois in a bind. She didn't expect him to actually meet her demands or be her proxy until she can be the proper Lord El Melloi.
She wasn't even scared when they used new magecraft to launch her and Caules at Mach 1 during one of the cases. She found it fun...to be shot across Europe at mach 1.
Tumblr media
She's genuinely entertaining to me and her fondness for Waver is fun to watch. Even if her entire reason to visit him for a day is to torment him.
She's also not above just pure human decency which is more rare among mages than you'd think. She is friends with Gray and talks to her often and even reaches out to Olga Marie.
Not for entirely selfless reasons to be sure but that's still more than most mages do. Given the childhood she had amongst assassinations and politics it's a miracle she's not more ruthless.
She's also apparently a genius or at least highly skilled since she remodeled Kayneth's mercury magecraft into her maid. That maid you see following her? That's Kayneth's mercury orb from Fate Zero.
She gave it a pseudo-personality and human shape. A child did that.
Tumblr media
Olga Marie
I was surprised to see her in the story tbh. I began this with lore videos and FGO so I had an odd history with the character in a way.
I'm fully aware of Fate's multiverse nature but it's still neat to see characters you know living different lives. In particular, I found it fascinating that Olga's father is still a piece of sh*t that disappeared.
It makes me wonder how many worlds this tragedy repeats itself due to her father being obsessed with the Holy Grail only to learn that in most timelines it's corrupted and useless for wish granting.
Olga herself is tragic both in FGO and here albeit she's younger in this story.
Tumblr media
She's definitely annoying but that's her childish nature processing her life. I actually felt bad in FGO for being a smartass once I learned of it. I was saddened again here in El Melloi because this Olga seemed to have a caretaker that actually cared about her only to lose that one as well.
It made me happy to see her get some level of friendship tbh. From what I hear she appears more in the novels and manga so I hope her life continues to be more positive than FGO.
I can't really say more than that on her personality because she's mostly the same but younger and with a brighter future.
Tumblr media
Even Yggdmillennia appeared
It's a small mention but the first anime I sat through was Apocrypha so seeing Caules or hearing Yggdmillennia mentioned is a neat nod for me.
I didn't realize he usually ends up in the Clocktower in multiple timelines. I also wonder what drove his sister to live a normal life in this world.
I know how he got there in the Apocrypha world but I do not know what pushed his sister to abandon her role in this world.
Tumblr media
Not Seiba
An aspect of the show I expected to have more to say on was Gray. I have many Fate posts now but many of them are two parters or about one show, the rest are about Saber.
I am a Saber (Artoria) shill and I will not deny as such so Gray is easily the one I know the most about lore wise. Sadly, the anime did not delve into her much.
I mean, I KNOW why she looks like that or what village she's referring to. I know why she admires Waver and sees him as a savior but that's me.
It's like with Fate 2006, I could appreciate it because I have context. Most people who just see this will not have that context. They will not know why Gray has Saber's face or her holy lance Rhongomyniad.
As as result I'm not sure I can do a whole post on her. I can easily ramble about her backstory but that's all. I'd want to see her story in motion, see how her past affects her, or see for myself the flashback.
Tumblr media
What I can tell you is that Gray is tragic in her own way. Many Sabers are but Gray is unique in the sense that she is not actually Artoria Pendragon.
She hides her face, the whole reason she likes that Waver hates her face, is because it is not her own. She's the victim of a ritual hoping to revive king arthur.
Waver dislikes her face because Saber traumatized him during the 4th Grail War but he mostly just says so because it makes this poor young girl happy.
If you ever watch this anime before you read the novels, it's manga adaption, or even a lore video know this;
Gray was some poor british girl that's had her face stolen from her. Thanks to that lance she, like arthur, will not age and as El Melloi's story gets closer to the 5th Grail War (aka Fate Stay Night) Gray begins to adopt more of Sabers' features.
She's slowly losing herself, that is her tragedy.
Tumblr media
It's a fun story
I'll wrap this up by saying that I loved this story. I love the setting, I love exploring the Type-Moon world. Although I could tell the anime cut bits of story I still enjoyed each case as well.
Such as seeing the fairy case early on. Not only did I get to see Kairi Sisigou from Fate Apocrypha again but I got to see more on faeries. A fascination of mine due to my childhood fondness of king Arthur and Celtic mythology.
The fae are fare more dangerous than one would think and within Fates world they are magical beings born of the earth. Many of them have magic that rivals the gods men once worshipped.
They are not to be meddled with which made that early case so neat to me. You see faeries charm men often but rarely do you see a faery charmed by love for a man.
Tumblr media
Then there was the Rail Zeppelin a magical train. A MAGICAL TRAIN! Do you even realize the neurons that activates in a mans head?! Many a lad grow up loving trains in their youth.
AND THIS ONE IS MAGICAL! IT FOLLOWS THE LEYLINES! It's full of magic beings, vampires, they auction magic eyes, IT HAS A FUCKIN MAGIC CANNON!
They could've did a whole mini series set on this train and I would've watched it. I loved the train.
It's unfortunate that the Dr. Heartless plot is left hanging but by hell I got to see a magic train. I even got to see a dead apostle, a real one, through that Inash forest thing.
I think it comes from a Dead Apostle that's actually not of the earth like the whole True Ancestor-Dead Apostle lineage works but still. Blood sucking forest of death.
A true eldritch horror that one was!
Tumblr media
Alas I am burnt out now. Been writing for a few hours and I'm unsure how satisfied I feel about part one. I'm not sure this was as solid as my Fate Zero or Mordred posts but oh well.
It's a fun show, it's a fun series, and I hope there's more because I've seen gifs I don't recognize the whole time I've typed this.
If you ever wondered if El Melloi is worth your time it is. It's a fun detective series set in a well fleshed out magical setting. Give it a go.
Bye now~

Did I make a backrooms level based on the E-RPG universe? Mayhaps.
!!Obv none of the lore behind this level is canon or affects the actual universe, as this is a backrooms level I mad fo funsies!!
Taken from the Sun Saga
Level RPG: "Exclamania"
Description:
Level RPG appears to be a desolate world resembling a RPG like fantasy map. Many burned down or ruined castles/villages can be found around the area. Oddly enough, the Sun is completely missing. All plants are dead due to lack of sunlight and there is no weather cycle. It is hard to see due to lack of light.
Sometimes glitches can be found, often retaining to a time with Sunlight, such as alive and lush trees, rainclouds, and even the feeling of warmth from sunlight. These only last a couple seconds to, rarely, and hour.
Exclamania is extremely cold, despite this there is no snow and ice is commonly found near sources of water. This is due to the lack of a weather cycle.
Some structures around Exclamania hint to a time when there was a sun, such as temples worshiping Sun Gods, desolate crop fields, and Sundials.
Entities:
Exclams (Unbrella term for different Punctuation Entities):
Exclams are thought to be the original entity of Level RPG. Many hold properties relating to RPG functions. Because of this, their powersets and personalities differ wildly. It is advised you do not approach unless you know for sure they are friendly.
NPCs:
Around Exclamania there are many NPCs. All of them are similar to the species they mirror in the Frontrooms, and it is thought that they are Wanderers turned to NPCs. They are very hostile, likely due to insanity caused from a sudden lack of sunlight, and are to NOT be approached. Most Exclams and NPCs get along well.
Ice People:
Considered the rulers of Level: RPG. They are hostile and likely to turn someone to another Ice Person. Do not approach.
Developers:
Unknown Entities believed to be extremely powerful. Many Exclams seem to view them as god-like beings. Advised to not approach.
Other Entities to be discovered.
Outposts (not including Ice People outposts):
Shoppe Basement:
Believed to be abandoned. Considered the first outpost.
Nefarious's Wizard Tower:
Wizard tower belonging to Nefarious Exclam. Some NPCs and Exclams reside here.
The Blanket Fortress:
Small Fortress made entirely out of blankets. Again some NPCs and Exclams reside here.
No known Wanderers reside in any outposts or have created any.
Entrances:
It is believed searching around a computer in The End will send you here
Playing a RPG game in The Final Arcade has a chance of sending you here
Playing on a PC in Level 11 has a small chance of sending you here.
Exits:
No-clipping in a village may send you to Level 9
No-clipping into a live tree will send you to Level -6
