I know we can all agree that Kai Chisaki, Overhaul is a deeply traumatized, cruel, villainous man. But I'm not the only one who thinks he's secretly touched-starved and needy with his partner?

With Kai's I have no doubt, he would be overly possessive and protective of his lover. For him theirs no other person for him, but them. He doesn't need anyone else. It will take time before he lets down his guard, freely choosing to remove his plague mask, showing his face, letting himself be vulnerable and relaxing underneath their touch.

I picture his ears, neck and back being sensitive when touched or kissed, maybe a playful love bite or nibble, here and there. ;)

Well, that's how I mostly picture him in my canon anyways. Once he's alone with his love, he's can't get enough of touching them or feeling their touch on him, greedy hands and kisses, he's like a horny teenager with repressed carnal urges and desire taking over in a mans body.

Other times, when he wants to cuddle on the bed, spooning them against him, or laying on top of them, face pressed on their chest, listening to their heart while having their fingers running through his short hair as he hums and sighs in content.

His only safe haven.

Overhaul turned the tables of MHA in season 4.

Yes, his arc felt short, but his introduction and everything he did was both impactful, planned out and his goal, although unethical made sense.

Yes, him putting Pops into a coma and hurting Eri over and over again to make the their erasing bullets is inhuman, what he did to Mirio and NightEye is unforgivable. but it showed that he did what he thought was right.

Think about all the lives that could have been saved if certain people in MHA lost their quirks?

I'm happy that we are getting more backstory for him and I'm hyped for Kai Chisaki to comeback! Overhaul is a really cool villain, cold blooded and driven, but calm and calculated, and yet, imagine the good things he could do with that quirk?

Destroys and restores things, able to reshape anything he wants to. He’s The Fullmetal Alchemist without the equivalent exchange! Remove body fat, add reinforce muscle, he could even remove cancer cells, he could have been a great doctor. I imagine he needed to learn biology and anatomy, years of medical practice; he seems to be the kind of man who once he's obsessed with something, he focus' on that interest and runs away with it. Pops said he had a bad habit of taking things too far.

Overhaul is hands down the most simply the horrifying, strong, well-made, intimidating and handsome looking villain in MHA. Such an interesting character with a badass quirk.

Price doodles because the fixation intensified after playing MW2019, also, a headcanon: Personally, some of the first times I saw him, he gave pretty aro/ace spec vibes. And the more I thought about it after playing the campaign, honestly, I think I imagine him as demisexual/romantic.

Secondary Hospital for Toucan and Hippo

Sometimes, animals need to go to a higher level hospital, kind of like visiting the Mayo Clinic after having first been treated at the local community hospital. When the toucan's person first wrote to me, he was looking for that higher level hospital.

Toucan was born in 1965. His person got him by sending in box tops from Fruit Loops Cereal. Earlier this year, he decided that Toucan, while still furry, really needed a bath, and he sent him, along with his friend hippo, to a hospital (not mine). When they came back, they were clean, but their colors were faded, their fur was gone, and their facial features (as well as hippo's ears and tail) had all been replaced. Their person was, needless to say, not happy.

Here is the diagnosis photo of Toucan that he sent:

Toucan was supposed to be two shades of yellow as well as blue and purple! His man was ok, with the new eyes, but his beak was malformed (he couldn't get small bugs with that rounded tip) and his tail had a poor patch.

Hippo (who was too shy for diagnosis photos) was similarly pale and unfurry, with the wrong ears, eyes, nostrils, and tail!

The only treatment I can offer for fading and balding is new fur, which I explained to the pair's man. He thought this would be acceptable (especially since it was reversible if he didn't like it, unlike their earlier cleaning), so he sent them in -- I got to be the Mayo Clinic :-)!

We went through a few options for colors and furriness amounts, but eventually figured out the right balance and surgery commenced. Here is the Toucan all better and waiting for some Fruit Loops:

The hippo took a bit longer. While the man had photographs (old original photos from film!) of them younger, the angle on Hippo was not great for his nostrils, and it took a few tries to get them and his eyes just right. But here he is all better too... he's even showing off his new tail!

They flew home (not far, just down to Los Angeles) and their person wrote:

The pair have arrived safe and sound.  They have never looked better.  Thank you so much for your superb craftsmanship.
