Noah and Cody have a quick chat.

Cody really didn't expect to like Noah as much as he does. He also didn't expect Noah to make him this happy. That's why it hurts when he realizes Noah's better off without him. Without his baggage, without his adversity, without his mess. Man what a mess it is. He wouldn't blame Noah in the least if he thought it was too much to handle and left without looking back.

Fortunately, Cody matters too much to Noah to let him go so easily. Cody couldn't be more grateful. Maybe one day he'll learn to tell him.

Noah and Owen are both 38 in this AU

After the Ridonculous Race, Noah was DONE with the drama, so he and Owen agreed to marry and settle down.

Noah became a librarian, Owen became a Sports Announcer.

On April 1st, 2013, Ripper was born. He was a trouble child, and he got on their nerves sometimes, but they loved him regardless.

Noah and Owen also stayed in contact with many of their friends from Total Drama.

Noah quite enjoys his (mostly) quiet life, with his husband and son as company.

Owen always tries his best to spice Noah's life up in creative ways. After all, there's nobody else he'd rather be married to! He also won't tolerate any sort of insult or backhanded compliment towards his family. (Alejandro learned that the hard way)

Aleduncan don't go to pride.

Alejandro's too afraid of his parents and/or brother finding out that he's not straight and reacting poorly, so he keeps his sexuality as hidden as possible - it isn't until he's cut off his family and their toxicity that he allows himself the freedom and joy of publically expressing himself, and then he goes to pride with his friends and has a great time.

Duncan's not allowed within the vicinity of a pride event because he's an active arson risk. And homophobic /j.

Alejandro records his time at pride for Duncan to watch. Duncan calls it gay and stupid but secretly appreciates his boyfriend trying to include him in these events. Alejandro catches Duncan watching the recordings "in secret" with the mushiest look on his face, and silently decides not to call him out on it.

Details

To grab a spot in the collab, simply send me a DM and specify if you’ll be participating as an artist or an author. You’re only allowed to be one or the other for the sake of letting as many people participate as possible.

The deadline for submissions is August 17, 11:59 PM AST (Atlantic Standard Time). The final collaboration would then be posted between the 18th and the 23rd.

If it happens that you’re participating and find that you can’t make the deadline, please let me know as soon as possible to take appropriate action in a timely manner.

General Submission Guidelines

Noah and Cody on the “lights, camera, action” theme. This includes things like movie or television references, genre parodies, or production if that’s more your speed. As long as it has to do with the Hollywood filming industry, it's fair game.

Please no NSFW. Pg-13 and safer. Please.

You can feel free to send your submission through tumblr’s messaging system, but if you’d prefer it, you can send it to me through discord! (starryluminary_49344)

FOR ARTISTS: The drawing must be full body and a transparent background. Both digital and traditional art is accepted! Should a traditional artist need help making a transparent png, I am willing to help! Sending your submission through discord ensures a higher quality image when sending, but feel free to send it through tumblr’s messaging system if you don’t mind the slightly lower quality.

FOR AUTHORS: Make sure your piece can be read in one sitting. Feel free to make it as long or short as you like, so long as it’s a one shot. You’ll have to choose one sentence or quote from your work to be displayed in the final collaboration.

You have full freedom to post your submission once it’s done. Every single entry, along with being grouped, will be highlighted individually, showcasing the work and its creator. Hi! My name is Sami and I want to put on Total Drama's first Big Bang event!

What is a Big Bang, you ask? It's a fandom-wide event where authors commit to writing a piece for the fandom, at a minimum of 10k words or more. This can be a longfic, one-shot, anything you want. Artists get to see what authors are working on, can "claim" their work and join their team to create artwork for the story. Beta readers are also eligible to join a team to help the author get their work to its fullest potential! Then, teams will post their stories within a specific posting season, and it benefits the whole fandom by creating new content for everyone to read and see!

If you're interested in participating, start thinking about what you might want to write about! Posting season will be sometime around April and will need to be completed finished and published by June. You can expect to see an author interest form sometime in the next few weeks, and an artist interest form soon after. A more tentative schedule will come out soon with plenty of time for authors, artists, and beta readers to decide if this is an event they can commit to. For now, we are looking for moderators to join the team! If you are able to give a few hours a week and want to help stat the groundwork for a new Total Drama fandom tradition, this is the job for you!
