A spine of beskar, Fox thought proudly, not for the first time. If they’d only realized what they’d let go. “CT-6622? Are you-” Fox’s eyes widened behind his bucket. They couldn’t have realized this quickly -  “- a batchmate of Dogma’s? CT-6922?” Dogma froze up completely, and Fox stepped in front of him, squaring his shoulders. “My aide’s batchmates are none of your business, CMO Kix, and certainly not pertaining to the matter at hand.” But Kix pressed on. “Do you know what happened to him? We never got any answers where he ended up.” Dogma swallowed, heavily, a clicking sound over the internal comm, and Fox was already tapping out a message to Stab for a convenient emergency that required his aide’s attention elsewhere, when Dogma took half a step forward, as if in challenge. “CT-6922 was evaluated and found to be defective. Since no one spoke up for him, he was sent to Kamino for decommissioning. I wasn’t part of the Guard then, I only arrived after CT-6922 was already gone.” Technically, all true. CT-6622 only joined the Guard after CT-6922 was officially on the transport to Kamino.

Important Update

Hey friends!! Sorry for being a bit MIA lately, it’s been… Well, I’m very stressed out. But that’s okay because of what’s going on. Anyway, I know I missed some weekly events and was gone most of today, but I’ll be gone again a lot of tomorrow before getting to asks and fun times. Because…

Tomorrow I graduate from university!!

I’m honestly such a mess. It feels like both the smallest minorest thing to be stressed about, and the biggest milestone for me in years and I don’t really know how to process it, especially having gone through a gap year, a year off to move to a new part of the country, and then trying to be in school during COVID. Either way I’ll be walking tomorrow and spending the day with family as well, but I’m going to be hopping on when I can and I do see your asks even if I haven’t had a chance to read them. Gonna be very transparent and open because I feel like it’s important for others to learn from, but if it’s TMI or uncomfy I’ll hide it here for you.

When I was about 10 I had my very first period, and it sucked because I never was taught about periods or sex or anything- and I mean “you aren’t allowed in sex ed” type of way, though no one in my family is that way now. I had rough periods, but we didn’t really talk about it so I ignired it and kept on.

When I hit the 8th grade, suddenly something was very wrong. I had a period for 8 weeks straight, and beyond that I was extremely heavy to where I couldn’t walk without being dizzy, I could feel it when I stood, and I was very weak compared to usual. I finally talked to my mom and doctor and was put on the pill in order to stop the period and hopefully prevent it from happening again.

Currently I am not on the pill, and haven’t for years as I decided that it wasn’t worth it when I don’t have sex, don’t have a period, and just have the side effects. Before anyone panics I finally got my period back, but I have PCOS so I wasn’t overly concerned since that can be part of it. While I think there’s a lot of options that are helpful for others and work, I didn’t want to keep pumping pills and hormones so I chose to stop. I’m aware that my SPECIFIC situation was abnormal, but it’s SUPER common to start the pill as a teen to help revulate and there should be no shame in that

"People shouldn't post about how the contraceptive pill can be prescribed for non-contraceptive reasons because it's sex negative" feels like a take that can only come from people who don't realise just how young some people end up being prescribed the pill

Like, fine, you, person in your twenties, might be comfortable being like "this is the pill I take to fuck without getting pregnant", but I don't think it's sex negative for a thirteen-year-old who has been prescribed it for debilitating period pain to not want to have to hide their medication from their classmates on an overnight school trip because their classmates think that the only reason anyone would take it is that they're sexually active

I had a lot fun with this, life has been busy and hectic lately but being able to experiment with colors is fun. (Once I finished, I feel like I leaned towards the Little Mermaid side of coloring…😬)

BUT I personally feel like it’s good and done as you see it.

Actually Fox Cauggt is my incredibly witty title for the sequel to Foxhunt.

I know, sometimes my own wit astounds me. Basically what is planned is...well, aftermath stuff. Debriefings, slooooow respectful courtship of Fox by Bacara while all Fox really wants is for Bacara to rail him up a wall. Thorn and Cody GET IT ON once more (this may or may not include Thorn walking up to the chatting batch, throwing Cody over his shoulder and carrying him off for ravishment) AND

A competition. Because while the GAR got an up close and personal view of Fox being super badass, and news about the Corries' treatment get out, most of them either still harbor some misguided ideas about the Corries' competence or find it hard to break old habits.

Planned are several different testzs of skill - agility, speed, endurance, hand to hand, marksmanship, and knowledge about the galaxy between different battalions and the Corries. The two winning battalions will then have a hand to hand spar between their Commanders, and the one who wins that wins the competition. You might guess this does not go as the GAR expected. Here's a little excerpt too XD

But the problem with things was that they kept happening, one after the other, and nothing short of hurtling himself down from the highest tower of the Jedi Temple would make that stop. Fox would have told them to just kick them out, but he couldn’t make two steps currently without tripping over a batchmate himself, and they kept looking at him like Grizzer did when someone accidentally stumbled over her because she was lying obnoxiously in the way.
