054: "May I have this dance, wife?"
Oh, since I read your recent prompt, I can't stop smiling as a fool, that was extremely cozy, sweet and soft. Love what you're doing sooo much 🥺
And this one got me hooked. Even though it was in the wedding section, in my mind it's like you and Alex are already married and having a candlelit dinner in your big apartment in Paris (or whatever city it could be) with a stunning view, that you recently move to. The room has high ceilings and big windows, music is playing from the vinyl player, and he suddenly invites you to dance. You dance to old songs in the middle of the room, embracing, and there is no one but you at this moment. Probably you start to remember the moments of your youth, how you met each other and perhaps the conversation turns to your future, about children, and you go trying for your first one i dunno ahahhahaha
I just want to imagine Alex slowly dancing and I'm wondering what song it will be😋
ouch, this is so cute to read 😭 and i'm glad you're enjoying it!!! ur idea is so adorable, i feel bad it's just a blurb, yet i hope you like it!! ♥️ (there's no smut) ; (i added num 007 as well)
here's the prompt list
You were wearing one of his white button-down shirts, the collarbone slightly exposed, and you felt relaxed. It was near the end of the day, and Alex was wearing a tank top and cotton shorts that he only wore at home. You loved the intimacy of it all; it put a silly and fulfilled smile on your face. You placed the pasta on the balcony table—a simple and quick meal, accompanied by a bottle of wine. The sole and humble purpose of it was to have more quality time together. After Alex set the glasses, he put his hands on your waist and gave a quick kiss on the top of your head. In silence, with only soft music playing from inside the house, creating a cozy atmosphere, you finished lighting the candles scattered around, from the table to various spots on the floor.
When you first met Alex, you thought the honeymoon phase of the relationship would only last in the beginning, where everything was focused on conquest. However, over time, even after getting married, nothing had changed. He was just as intense as when he was in his 30s. You had recently moved to Paris, and you didn't know of any other place in the world that felt as "Alex" as this city. Sometimes, especially on Saturdays, you would go out for tea and explore the neighborhood in the morning just because it was incredibly beautiful. It had quickly become a habit. You would wake up to kisses and intertwined bodies, and as a routine, you would get ready together, sharing the bathroom and deafening laughter before heading out into the street.
The house you got yourself, located in the southern part of the country, was spacious, with a main room glass ceiling and a balcony offering a perfect view of the neighborhood's beautiful garden. Although you had loved the house right from the start, seeing Alex's radiant smile and vibrant eyes as he showed you the place made you realize that even if you hadn't liked it initially, you would have ended up loving it for him.
"May I have this dance, wife?" His accent sounded stronger in the cold wind. The candles weren't helping as much as you had hoped, and his warm hands embraced your chilly body. "It's cold. Come closer, babe." His voice was like a warm blanket, and sometimes you could swear he looked at you with the same affection you saw in his eyes when you first met and spent hours talking in a concert queue. You hugged him, wrapping your arms around his neck, letting your fingers play with his curls. You buried your face in his chest and immediately felt more comfortable and warm.
He held you tighter and lifted your body slightly so that your feet were on top of his. Your laughter caused vibrations in his chest, and he felt his muscles relax as he saw you safe and happy with him. And you did feel that way, not just in the physical sense of the word, but in trusting your feelings and flaws with someone. You could be yourself, even let your mind empty while your movements were guided by him and the hypnotizing voice of Father John Misty. You could rest on him.
"What do you think we'll be like in ten years?" You asked, causing him to pause the movements, as if listening to you was more important. He rubbed his hands together, warming them up before placing them on your properly chilled cheeks, making you laugh. "I can't say for sure. I enjoy the present so much that I don't think of a future that's much different. Don't get me wrong. It's just that as long as I'm with you, it'll be worth it." You wrinkled your nose, wearing a slight smile.
Meanwhile, he grabbed one of the blankets from the bench and placed it over both of you, covering your hands, legs, and even your head, that were fitting perfectly against his body like a magnet. He made room for you without hesitation. "What's on your mind, babe?" he suggested, kissing your cheek, sensing from your expression that you were trying to say something more. "Well, I wanted to bring up the topic of having children with you, but I don't know how to do it without sounding like it's a too much of a thing. I know you've never really thought about it, but I thought we could start... I don't know." You spoke casually, not wanting to make it seem like a big deal or sound intimidating. He gently turned your chin to make you look at him and said, "I know it's a big thing, but I want to know more about it. I like the idea of having children with you. I'm afraid of the reality of it, yeah, as I can barely take care of myself, but I've always known your thoughts on the matter. I wouldn't have married you if I didn't consider the idea." His words came out slowly, with light breaths, typical of Alex. It was as if he had rehearsed those lines, as if he knew or expected this conversation would come at some point and he didn't want to disappoint you. You found it cute of him. You didn't say anything, but you had a happy aura, with smiles and a light heart, that made Alex feel the same way. There was a flutter of excitement in your stomach, but it felt so right.
You brought the wine glass to your lips, realizing it had turned cold. You suddenly realized that you hadn't noticed the passing of time, but it was a common occurrence. The food would be the same, yet you would eat it as if it were the best meal you had ever tasted. Between bites, Alex kissed your face, sealing your lips together before more laughter filled your chests.
"You know, your kisses still taste like standing for about 6 hours to see The Strokes up close for the thousandth time, but this time being the most important of all." He would be happy to train and subsequently have happy children with you.

Professor Sycamore and his S/O living together headcanons
Man, I could spend HOURS writing on this topic and I still wouldn't be done. This is literally over 1k words and I feel like I have more to say about living in Lumiose with the franchise's hottest professor.
If you've been around here long enough, you'd know I have two headcanons for Sycamore that you'd have to pry from my cold dead hands, him being a smoker and a divorcee. I mention that because they play a role in this.
Features domestic fluff, gn! reader and references to sex
Enjoy!
Moving in together just kind of… happened
No big discussion or anything
Your lease was up in a few weeks
You were keen to move into somewhere bigger, and nicer
Luckily, your boyfriend just so happened to have a lovely, spacious apartment
“Well, why don’t you just come live with me?” he asked one day while you were announcing your house-hunt
It made total and complete sense
At that point, you were already spending half the week there anyways
Sycamore's apartment is quite close to the lab
Just in one of the alleys off the south boulevard
It has wo bedrooms, a joint kitchen-dining-living area, an office, and two balconies
Situated on the top floor of the building
It has a chic, yet approachable, feel to it, a bit untidy
Plenty of vintage furniture and beautiful art-pieces
White linen curtains and embroidered cushions
Full of plants and beautiful flowers
It smells like lavender the most
Sycamore is DEFINITELY a vinyl guy
He has a gramophone that’s twice his age that’s his pride and joy
First thing he does when he comes home is dropping the needle on whatever record strikes him that day
The only time you get to chose what’s playing is if you get home first
Or if you turn up your Bluetooth speaker loud enough hehe
The last time Augustine lived with someone was his ex-spouse
In this apartment actually
He’s witnessed a home turn into a glorified flat-share, a sweetheart to a roommate
When you first moved in, the boxes reminded him of when his ex moved out
He got very anxious for a moment, fearing a repeat of that with you
But seeing your excited smile really calmed him down
The smell of fresh baked bread and pastries wafts in from the bakery down the street every morning
Sycamore smokes, but he's taken to smoking out on the balcony or in the street to keep you away from the nastiness
You might catch him smoking inside when he has friends over, or if he’s stressing in the office
Or after you fuck
He loves grocery shopping with you!
Whether it's the big shop for the week
Or just heading down to grab some bread for the morning
He’s the one who cooks most often
Which is good, because he is amazing
You are the envy of many of your friends, because not only is your S/O handsome, romantic, intelligent and charming – he can whip up a five-star quality meal for you in no time
You love attempting new recipes together
Or even just learning tips and tricks from him
You do cook on your own from time to time
Mainly breakfast
Poor guy needs as much sleep as he can get!
When you do cook dinner, it’s usually because he’s held up at the lab
He really appreciates coming home to a hot meal made by his darling
Sometimes neither of you are in the mood to cook
You walk in from work and look at each other and say "Let's go out for dinner"
And immediately turn around and leave lol
b u b b l e b a t h s
Yes! So many bubble baths!
With candles and plenty of wine
It's a great way to unwind after a stressful day
Sycamore takes skincare seriously!
So it’s not uncommon to see him in a facemask at home
He's started to go grey
Just a few strands
He hasn't swallowed his pride enough yet to a. let it happen or b. go to a professional to colour it
So you're helping him!
Eventually he will transition to salt and pepper (very distinguished!), but not yet!!
When it’s just the two of you at home, clothes are optional
You’re used to it now, but it was real shock walking into the kitchen on your third day being there
And finding him reading the newspaper, completely naked
Not that you minded ofc ;)
Unfortunately Sycamore finds himself staying late at work way more often than he’d like to
You stay up for him, watching crap on the television, just to make sure he gets home safe and gets hugs and his dinner
He takes work home sometimes too
He prefers that, even just to hear you tottering about the place through the walls of his office
You make quite the assistant, popping your head in every now and then to see if he needs a snack or a coffee or a kiss or a blowjob to keep him going
Sometimes he does his work in the kitchen just to be closer to you
It’s funny, you never thought in a million years, you’d have a celebrity in your living room
But Sycamore’s oddly well-connected with a lot of very important people
You’ve shared a charcuterie board with Lysandre, had Diantha stay in your guest room after too many bottles of wine
Apparently Steven Stone is coming over next week?!
Your boyfriend never makes you play maid or try exclude you when his friends are over, famous or not
It’s your home too – you deserve to take part in any social activities that take place there
Plus, he thinks you’re wonderful and his friends should know you!
There is not nearly enough closet space in your room for the both of you
You’re invaded the closet in the guest room too lol
Going on walks is quite common for the two of you
Even at the most random of times
It’ll be four a.m.
Neither of you can sleep
And you find yourselves throwing some clothes on and wandering around Lumiose
So quiet, so peaceful, from how it usually is
Your balconies are also a great way to observe the city
On warm mornings, you like to eat your breakfast out there together, watching the people and cars beneath you
Seeing employees rush to work, witnessing families on their walk to school
In the height of the summer heat, you spend countless evenings on your balconies
Drinking wine, holding hands, content in each other’s presence

Hozier @ The Anthem (DC), 9/27/23
Madison Cunningham was the perfect opener, the best I've seen in the couple dozen concerts I've been to. Her voice was astonishing live, quite a range with a haunting quality. She had a 3-piece band, more of a rock sound than the acoustic tracks of her earlier work.
ALL LINKS OPEN TO VIDEOS
De Selby pt 1 - the first song of the night. The crowd did a good job keeping quiet during the gentle opener, and then we went right into De Selby pt 2.
Cherry Wine - the ground floor started cheering in the middle and Hozier got flustered.
Uiscefhuaraithe - Hozier did a little explainer before the song.
Damage Gets Done - a duet with Kristen Rogers, one of his backup singers for the tour. Glad to see it played even without Brandi Carlile there.
Almost - always a favorite of mine, but this show they had a long jam session in the middle, featuring solos from different musicians! Also, the video was showing the title of different vinyl records mentioned, to sync with the lyrics.
First Light - glad to hear it, but the placement could have been better? This was one of my highlights from the album, the hopeful ending. I love to do yoga to this song, especially in the sunshine.
The setlist for this night skipped many of the sadder songs - no Icarion, Butchered Tongue, or Who We Are (and Unknown came later). This suited me fine to have a more upbeat concert, but then First Light didn't feel quite "earned."
Take me to Church - the finale. The crowd passed up a pride flag saying "Protect Trans Kids," which he hung on the mike stand and then walked right up to the crowd. Everyone surged toward him trying to touch him, some pressing flowers, bracelets and other gifts upon him. Felt a bit Pentecostal.
Nina Cried Power - the first encore song after a short break, the crowd kept that energy going. Hozier did a little explainer and duetted with Melissa McMillan, his other touring backup singer.
Unknown - the next encore song, followed by singing Happy Birthday to tour musician Ryan Connor.
Work Song - the final encore, plus a surprised duet with opener Madison Cunningham.
So that was THREE encores and THREE duets. Shoutout to the venue as well. I arrived about an hour after doors and went straight to the top floor of the GA area. View and sound were good, plenty of personal space up there, able to sit between sets and pee without losing your spot, pleasantly strong AC, short bathroom line, chill neighbors - ideal for the over 35 crowd.
Over all, the May pop-up show was a better fangirl experience: smaller venue = better view, the long time since the last tour, the chance to meet and great.
But the Unreal Unearth tour was the better concert - bigger stage, more intricate lighting design, the band was more practiced/experimental with the new music, amazing crowd energy.

Pontiac GTO
As one of the most sought-after members of the muscle car realm, Pontiac GTOs are a big draw among ardent collectors and casual fans of classic cars alike. This slick 1971 Pontiac GTO, with its recently rebuilt and punched-up 400 V8 motor, is the beneficiary of a comprehensive restoration that's left it not only looking great, but in outstanding running condition, taking that already magnetic attraction and ratcheting it up more than a few notches. And whether you prefer to call it 'The Tiger' or 'The Goat', it's a beast in the streets either way.
Just a quick glance at this classic will leave you with the indelible impression that this is one seriously clean, straight and solid cruiser. It's likely been pampered a good portion of its life, as its flush fitting panels are all very straight, and the body gaps and sheetmetal creases are as the factory intended. This GOAT has been restored with an eye toward showmanship, and it certainly looks the part with its collection of clean, tight lines that you'll encounter from the hood, the sporty fenders and doors, and that iconic rear end – all of which serve as proof to how thorough the restoration was. The eye-popping Maroon Metallic finish is a wonderfully bright upgrade over the factory Castillian Bronze this GTO was born with, looking liquid-smooth and consistent from front to back, with an impressive shine from its clearcoat. With a deep, lustrous finish accented by shiny metallic flake that's evenly dispersed throughout the body, this car attracts loads of attention everywhere it goes. It's a top driver-quality finish that can be shown off with pride, and when it glitters in the sun you get to sit back and watch the envious gather everywhere you go. The badging on the front grille and decaled emblems on the decklid and fenders are sharp, combining with very clear glass, a commanding rear spoiler, and straight front and back bumpers that drive home the point that no stone was left unturned in bringing this venerable muscle car back up to its optimum condition.
There's quite an impressive black vinyl interior sitting inside, which in our opinion is a perfect complement to the vivid bodywork. It's also been refurbished and mostly kept in its original configuration - save for a set of Dakota Digital gauges - to provide the rewarding and era-appropriate driving environment classic car enthusiasts look for. The broad buckets up front and bench seat in back show virtually no wear at all and still have a fresh shine to them, and because the covers are high-quality Legend units, they'll look this good for a very long time. A clean expanse of black carpet runs underneath the seating and keeps the asphalt temperatures and road noise at bay, the matching door panels are handsome and blemish-free, and the taut headliner above completes the whole package. Peer through the 3-spoke woodrimmed steering wheel and you'll see the original gauge cluster, although now the pods are filled with a full complement of Dakota Digital gauges. The original radio is long gone, although the machine-turned panel on the dash is still in place and looks great, and the factory A/C system has been upgraded to use modern refrigerant and blows hard and cold. A middle console splits the front buckets and houses the shifter for the automatic transmission below, and the condition of the rear seat suggests it's barely been used. A full-size spare tire wrapped around a matching aftermarket rim and an original jack set sit in the spacious trunk out back, whose floor has been treated for scuff protection with black spatter paint.
The YS code 400 cubic inch V8 sitting under the hood has been driven less than 500 miles since its full rebuild, and it runs with a smoothness and consistency that makes it very much up to the task of daily driving, if you should so choose. Augmented with Edelbrock aluminum heads, a Holley double pumper 4-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and a set of ceramic-coated headers, the engine is very powerful with performance that's delivered instantly up and down the throttle. It's paired with a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission that handles the power with ease thanks to an added 2800 stall convertor, shifting with plenty of certainty followed by the sturdy Auburn Gear 10-bolt rear end out back. With both power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes in tow, this is an easy driver, and this Poncho handles great thanks to new suspension components front and rear, sway bars, and all-new steering components. The soundtrack is great too, with a 3-inch H-pipe dual exhaust system anchored with Flowmaster mufflers doing most of the barking. Should you desire any more proof of just how well-put together and cared for this GTO is, take a glance underneath - you'll find a very well attended to undercarriage there. This GOAT sits on a set of 17" Vision Legend series wheels that are outfitted with 245/50/17 performance radials.

MEMORIES OF SCHOOLDAYS #3
WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT SNIDE
I finished my first year of grammar school without further incident. Sure, I might have got lines or something, but I didn’t find myself on the wrong end of a cane or slipper again. By the same token I can’t recall that I distinguished myself in any meaningful way; not in class, not on the sports field. I did okay-ish in my end of year exams, nothing spectacular. There might have been some early signs of my aptitude for science, but subjects like History, Geography, Religious Studies… Not so much. Onwards and upwards into the second form, then.
Let me introduce you to a boy I’m going to call Snide. The alias I’ve given him amuses me for two reasons—firstly, it rhymes with his actual name; secondly, he really, really was: snidey I mean, devious and underhand. It’s safe to say we did not get on. He was a somewhat overweight boy with collar-length hair that was often in need of a wash. He wore glasses with thick black rims, like one of the Two Ronnies. He was a gossip with a bad word to say about everybody. He liked to join in with any mischief at the same time as he was telling us we shouldn’t be doing it, and then carry on like Uriah Heep as soon as a teacher came into view. It was widely held that he was a sneak.
We were in H Block lining up for English class when we had another one of our regular fallings-out. I’m pretty sure it was still early in the Autumn term. I can’t recall what we were squabbling about; pushing in the line maybe? Treading on his foot? We were always sniping at each other about something. Anyway, he pushed me, so I pushed him back harder. His feet got entangled with his bag (I’ve just remembered he had a brown leather briefcase whilst just about every other boy had or aspired to own an Adidas holdall made of top-quality vinyl lol), and he fell on his arse and his glasses came off. He scrabbled about for them on the shiny, tiled floor whilst the other boys laughed and jeered. Yeah, not my finest hour.
“Stop picking on me, Matthews!” he squawked loudly. “Why can’t you just leave me alone?” The line of laughing second formers suddenly fell ominously silent at about the same time as I was grabbed by the scruff of the neck. I looked round to see Mr K standing behind me with a face like thunder. He’d obviously come up the stairs and was crossing the landing to his classroom, heard the commotion and glanced down the corridor to see what was happening. Even without his glasses, Snide had spotted him and launched into his shrill protest. Bastard!
I remember Mr K as tall with light brown hair and a moustache that trailed down either side of his mouth. He was one of the Geography teachers but never taught my form. It was salaciously rumoured about the school that he was carrying on with my actual Geography teacher Mr D, who had black hair and a moustache like Freddie Mercury’s (when he eventually got round to growing one in the 80s). Mr D was also a very snazzy dresser: a big fan of loud three-piece suits, gold chains and rings. They were often seen in each other’s company and even ate lunch together in the canteen. I mean what more evidence do you need lol? We used to call them Tom and Jerry.
“What’s going on here?” roared Mr K, which made quite a few of us jump. “Matthews pushed me over, Sir,” wailed Snide. “I think he’s broken my glasses, and they’re new, Sir.” Wait, what? An older me would have told Mr K to get the fuck off me and then rounded on Snide and called him out for being a liar, but I wasn't an older me, I was 12. “But, Sir—” I began in protest but he cut me off. “I cannot abide bullying, Matthews, and I will not tolerate that sort of behaviour!” I gaped at him. Snide was at least five inches taller than me and half a stone (if not a whole stone) heavier. I was small and skinny (wiry would be polite) and the idea that I was bullying him was frankly ludicrous. Something of these thoughts must have shown on my face as a flicker of amusement. Mr K went off like an H bomb. “This is no laughing matter, boy!” he shouted, even louder than before. “I’ve never known such insolence!”
He still had hold of me by my blazer collar and now he spun me round and propelled me down the corridor, shoes slipping and sliding on the tiles as I tried to match his pace. We reached his classroom, and he opened the door one-handed and literally threw me inside. I cannoned into the first desk and chair whilst he swept past me to his desk in the corner. “Come over here!” he snapped. Instead, I regained my feet and did the opposite and backed away. Fight or flight, I suppose; I didn’t want anything to do with this angry, shouting man that I didn’t know. He marched the half dozen steps to where I was cowering, grabbed a fistful of my jumper, shirt and tie, and dragged me to his desk. Properly scared now, I started crying. I remember grabbing his wrist with both of my hands and telling him to let go.
He did so once we reached his desk, where he regarded me distastefully. “Yes, you don’t like it when somebody bigger and stronger starts on you, do you? Bullies never want a taste of their own medicine.” What total bollocks. If there was a prize for who could get hold of the wrong end of the biggest stick in the world, then, ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner. “But it’s not true, Sir,” I sobbed. “Snide pushed me first and then I pushed—” But Mr K wasn’t listening, he’d already made up his mind. He opened the desk drawer and produced a thin cane. “Hold out your hands, Matthews—both of them.” Slowly, I raised my hands, palms upwards. He seized my right wrist and gave me one stroke on that hand, then held my left wrist to give me a further stroke on the other. Holding my wrists meant I couldn’t drop my hands as the cane landed, so I got the full force of both cuts. And they were nasty, hard cuts. When I checked later, both of my hands bore a vivid red welt running diagonally across two fingers and the palm.
He put the cane away then pointed a finger in my face. “Go and line up quietly with the rest of the form. And I’d think very carefully before you bully anyone else, Matthews, or it’ll be the worst for you!” I had both hands tucked under my armpits and was too focused on how much they were stinging to respond. My eyes were still wet with tears. “Who’s your form master?” “Mr J, Sir,” I sniffed. “I shall inform Mr J that I’ve caned you today and suggest that he keeps a close eye on you in future. Now get out!” “Yes, Sir,” I replied, voice wobbling.
Miss L had just arrived to take us for English and was unlocking the classroom door when I made it back to my spot in the line. It was obvious what had happened by the way my hands were still tucked under my armpits and my red-rimmed eyes. My classmates were not happy. Morrison, my best friend throughout my schooldays (there’s much more about him to come!), was keen to take things further with Snide there and then. I told him to leave it as I didn’t want him to get in trouble too. We filed into class and Miss L started the lesson.
Ah, Miss L—“Who ever loved that loved not at first sight?” She had told us she was in her final year of teacher training but what possessed her to choose to come to the testosterone-fuelled hell-hole of an all-boys grammar school in the Midlands I’ll never know. She had an Italian-sounding name but had been born and raised in England. Her stunning features were all-European, though: olive-skinned complexion, dark eyes with long lashes, fulsome lips and rich, chestnut brown hair that fell in waves down to her shoulders. She frequently displayed a generous décolletage that seemed at odds with her slim figure and long, shapely legs. It’s fair to say she was centre stage in many a boy’s nightly five-knuckle shuffle. But as well as being attractive on the outside, she displayed a genuinely warm and compassionate nature; she was kind and always willing to lend a sympathetic ear to whatever was troubling us. Perhaps she saw herself as some sort of missionary in a strange and savage land.
Ten minutes into the lesson we were doing some written work (Lord of the Flies; Piggy was whining again) and she was going from desk to desk to see if we needed any help. She must have spotted me blowing on my hands and flexing them, and came over to see what was wrong. She took one look at the aftermath of my caning and immediately sent me to see the School Nurse.
I wasn’t in the habit of telling my parents if I’d got into trouble at school, not even as a funny story. I couldn’t be sure of the reception I’d receive, and I was mindful that as far as dad was concerned, I was still of an age where it was perfectly acceptable to go to town on my backside with one of his actual bedroom slippers. But I was really upset about what had happened—I think it was more the injustice of it than the caning—so I confided in my oldest sister. She was 20 and worked as counter clerk for Barclays Bank. She was shocked and said we had to tell dad. He inspected my hands, which still bore the results of Mr K’s handiwork: I now had elongated blood blisters on the fleshy parts of my palms, and I told him my fingers felt sore and the joints were aching. “And you say this man grabbed you and dragged you across the classroom, Johnny?” He spoke reasonably enough but I could tell by his face that he was furious. I’d have packed my bags and not stopped running if he’d ever looked at me like that.
I know he phoned the Headmaster the next day from work because mum told me. In true British fashion, there may even have been a Strongly Worded Letter. I wasn’t consulted further and wasn’t summoned to see the Head (thank God). It was the mid-70s and we were only just leaving the era of children-should-be-seen-and-not-heard behind. But I know something must have been said to Mr K. I never got an apology, of course, but I can think of two occasions at least when he walked past, spoke to other boys I was with… And looked through me as if I didn’t exist.
And as for Snide. Well, let’s just say a month or two later there was a fight… At a bus stop… After school. A fight that I technically lost—he was bigger and stronger than me, after all, but I thought I landed a couple of good punches and I bloodied his nose. My black eye and torn blazer meant I got sent to my room when I got home, and then slippered by dad in my pyjamas when he got home, but it was worth it.
Matthews vs. Snide Round Two was almost exactly a year later. Ding, ding!

Hi hi! This is just a silly little match up request. Wilbur or Quackity are definitely preferable if that’s alright <33
Appearance: I’m a trans guy (he/him), about 5’6 and on the more slender side, not like super skinny but just a slim little guy. I’m pre top surgery but I am on hormones so I have a raspier voice and it cracks all the time, which embarrasses me to death. I’m fair skinned with curly, medium brown hair that’s short on the sides and long on top. My eyes are light brown, almond shaped and I have long lashes. I’ve got freckles on my face and shoulders and I sometimes enhance them with a little bit of makeup or henna. I always wear bracelets and I love big sweaters and band shirts.
Personality: I’m very extroverted. I’ll talk to anyone about anything for any reason and I’m great at meeting people. I don’t always attract the nicest friends though and usually end up in some not great friendships. I’m adventurous and love a good adrenaline rush, height, rollercoasters, questionably legal activities, anything for the dopamine hit. I’m happy to be in crowds, concerts, conventions etc. I’m always trying to do something new but I don’t have much faith in my abilities, my projects usually end up half finished or left in the drafts.
Hobbies: I play guitar or try to anyway and I’ll spend hours hunched over my acoustic or electric trying to get my fingers just right. I collect vinyls and love to sprawl out in bed or on the floor just listening to the music. Travel and concerts are big loves as well. The energy and excitement is everything to me. I write sporadically, songs, poetry, stories but I usually end up getting insecure and ditching the project.
Love Languages: I’m a romantic at heart quality time, words of affirmation, and physical touch are my favorites. Being told I’m doing a good job or that my partner is proud of me is everything. I love soft touches, caresses, having my hair played with. It’s nice to just feel quietly loved through simple gestures.
yooooo fellow transmasc?! heyyyaaaa!! i ship you with quackity :)
y’all are chaotic little shits together, it’s almost scary LMFAO
quackity always tries to help you in terms of your transition and all, although sometimes he needs a bit of guidance cuz he doesn’t get it
quackity also tries to guide you in terms of friends, becuz he doesn’t want ya stuck in some toxic web
quacks also loves to run his fingers thru ur hair, especially cuz it’s curly lol
he also tries to teach ya guitar!!
quackity always tries to encourage you to finish your projects all the way through, he’ll even help ya if you need

How to Attract Shoppers with SEG Fabric and Frames?
SEG Frames are growing in popularity with each passing time. They create festive retail displays for the store. As the festival season will soon arrive, attractive seasonal retail displays are important. On the other hand, retailers fight tooth and nail to entice their phone-obsessed customers into their stores. In such cases, using the best quality SEG fabric frame in India can have a positive outcome. At Karni Alufab, they offer top SEG fabrics at truly affordable rates. But how can you use SEG fabric and frames in the best way to attract customers? However, if that sounds like you, continue reading until the end to get some tips.
● Create Beautiful Seasonal Themes
One of the ways you can attract shoppers is by creating beautiful seasonal themes. when it's Christmas or New Year's evening, visual merchandisers need to display solutions that are easy to adjust and adaptable. This is done so that they can switch from one theme to the latest one. The modular display frames feature printed SEG fabric and are designed for quick & easy graphic replacement. In simple terms, the possibilities are infinite especially whenever you are selecting the best quality Single Side Fabric Profile or Double Sided Fabric Profile from stores like Karni Alufab. They are leading producers of SEG fabric frames. One can create vignettes, unlit elements and even digital screens with them.
● Turn Shop Into A Retail Destination
When themed displays are implemented within the store, you can attract walk-in customers to remove a few items from their shopping lists. SEG is dye sublimation printed on unique tension fabric perfect for seasonal advertising when the fabric is pulled to create an appealing look. It also helps in maintaining a wrinkleless look and smoothness on the printed cloth panel leaving a beautiful visual experience. Moreover, having used SEG frames to keep the shop area modern and updated with seasonal promotions may attract customers.
● Adding Floor Decals and Wayfinding Signs
Once the customers enter the store, you can help them to navigate through by offering them the right direction. For this purpose, floor decals can be used to bring customers to notice the newly launched items. You can use high-quality vinyl and non-slip laminate on the floor. This would ensure their durability regardless of a lot of foot activity around the store.
● Using Light Box and Graphics
Another way to make your store appealing with SEG fabric frames is by using light boxes and graphics. When you use jovial lighting, banners, signs, characters to tell a tale and others - this straightforward technique can aid in attracting the client's attention. Retailers get the freedom to be creative and construct magnificent displays as they are accessible in a variety of forms and sizes. To produce an engaging shopping experience, backlit lightboxes can be used. However, make sure to get the best quality aluminum snap frame profile and aluminum profile wayfinding in India from Karni Alufab. Their seamless dye sublimation printed banners with photographic quality prints can be used to decorate the entire wall from top to bottom.
