Please take the time to research Tony's Chocolonely, and please consider joining the movement to end illegal child labor and slavery in the cocoa industry! Went to the Tony's factory in Amsterdam to make a bar, fully panicked when I had to put a message, blacked out, and this happened.

The cocoa industry has a horrific level of slavery, including child slavery, in it, so it is good to see at least some chocolate companies avoid buying cocoa from thoses source.

However, I alway want to flag up Tony's Chocolonely who rather than just trying to avoid sourcing their cocoa from places using slavery are actively trying to route out slavery from cocoa supplies so that slavery free is the norm.

Also their chocolate is delicious, go check them out!

Tonys Chocolonely, Dark Milk Chocolate with Pretzel and Tofee

Tony's is one of the more ethical chocolate companies, as they dont use slave labor.

However, I have not been able to find a flavor i quite enjoy yet. I'm lactose intoletant, and that has evolved my taste buds. Dark chocolate is my favorite variety, and I thought this would really enjoy this one! However, this is dark MILK chocolate, and so i didnt enjoy it as much. Roo creamy and not rich enough.

I will say, though, the pretzel and tofee were nice additions! The salt and crunch are great additions to the flacor and texture profile.

The shape of the bar is very unique. I definitely prefer this smaller size over the larger one, but the bar in the middle makes it a little hard to break off some of the peices.

Overall, it was an alright experience, but personally, I'm not gonna buy this flavor again.

Result: Okay.
