Can I get Tommy slater x fem!reader hcs, please? Sunnyvale reader preferably but whatever you come up with is fine ❤
ofc darling, no problem!!!
growing up in sunnyvale and having the privilege to grow up in a nice house, getting everything you could desire felt nice
life was pretty much easy for you in sunnyvale
you were taught to hate shadysider's and well... you didn't really get the hatred, why your family and your classmates hated them so much
you didn't know how they lived til you visited there once, to see what was so bad about shadyside
and you were shocked to see how poorly they lived, and you realized you were privileged when it came from being a part of a wealthy family on the nice side of town
you met the resident golden boy of shadyside who keeps a smile on his face even through hard times, tommy slater
he was sweet and kind and caring and didn't hate you, even though all sunnyvaler's were known to be assholes, but you weren't like them
which was why none of them wanted to hang around you, not that you cared
you came around shadyside on the weekends to meet up with tommy, you both got along well for two people that lived on opposite sides
then one day, he kissed you and you obviously didn't pull away like have you seen him? but he also asked consent first because he's a gentleman <3
and you snuck around more and more til your parents realized you sneak out to go over to see tommy in shadyside, and oh boy, they were not happy
and like it was romeo and juliet, they forbade you from seeing him. though that really didn't stop you
especially when it came around to summertime and you were attended camp nightwing
it was harder to sneak around because anyone could catch either of you fooling around, but you were smart enough to make an arrangement for the next couple of weeks
sometimes it be in the bathroom, sometimes it be in the woods, or in the mess hall where or when no one is around
you did get caught by nurse lane one time but she promised to keep it a secret and you loved her for it
by time both of you had graduated, you made sure that you'd get tommy out of shadyside, especially when hearing about the curse of sarah fier, though you were cautious about the tale because anyone can make up rumors and stories about anything
and were also gonna pretend tommy didn't get possessed because i said so <333 (nick goode, when i find you 😡)

Tommy Slater
The long awaited last part is here!
[Part 1] [Part 2] [Part 3] [Part four (you're here!)]
Summary: Y/n and the group finally come face to face with the Shadyside killers and Nick.
Warnings: blood, death, it's the endgame now, swearing, Y/n being a badass, grief finally ends, angst
-----------------------------------------------------
Then, the bells that Ziggy hung up on the entrance doors rang out, indicating that someone had entered, causing the three to scamper away to a nearby counter, hiding behind it and going absolutely silent, the only thing they could hear was their own breathing.
------------------------------------------------------
Y/n's breath caught in her throat as she tried to block out the pounding noise of her heart from her ears, adrenaline pumping through her like a drug as she prepared herself for what was going to happen next.
She knew exactly what she wanted to do to nick. She wanted to make him suffer, make him feel the same pain she felt when she lost her boyfriend and her best friends.
But that wasn't the plan that she, Ziggy, and the teens had planned and she knew that. And as much as she wanted to, she couldn't stray from it.
So she sat there, nerf gun full of Deena's watered down blood still in her hands, clutched tightly to her chest as she waited for the perfect moment.
"I don't see anyone." Deena whispers, gasping.
Josh's eyes widen, furiously tapping Deena, gaining the attention of the two women, "I see Martin and Ziggy!"
Y/n eyes Ziggy and Martin carefully as they run across the mall to their desired location, hiding behind a wall.
Y/n flinched as a voice rang out, catching Ziggy and Martin, "Police! Hands up! Hands up!"
As Martin and Ziggy's voices merge together as they both frantically try to explain the situation (well, Ziggy was, Martin was trying to get him to leave), the police man scoffs as he realizes the man in front of him was Martin.
Meanwhile, there was another police man, his radio going off.
Y/n could hear it, clear as day, as he began to creep closer to the three. Whilst Josh and Deena were looking one way, she was looking the other, spotting the flashlight before the man stopped in front of them, frantically telling them to freeze as Deena and Josh turned around.
All three of them put their hands up in defense, waterguns still in their hands.
"I got three more over here!" He yelled, most likely to his partner (obviously).
Y/n was calm, well, minus the frantically beating heart due to the current situation they were in that involved them ALL dying.
"Drop your weapon!" He yelled at them, pointing his gun towards them.
"Sir, if you could just let us explain-" Y/n tried, but he ignored her, continuing to tell them to drop their weapons.
Making final glances at the two kids with a nod, they put their waterguns down in sync, keeping one of their hands up in the process.
"Slide it to me." He ordered, to which they did immediately.
Everything was stopped when they heard screaming from the direction of Ziggy and Martin, and the other police man began to run in their direction, leaving the other three behind.
The culprit of the murder was the Milkman, and he had just killed the other police officer as Y/n, Josh, and Deena ran to their next place for the next phase of their plan.
Once Deena told Josh to be careful, Y/n returned the gesture to the girl before splitting up, Y/n making her way to her own door.
This entire time, she hadn't taken a single breath, her eyes moving between the different places of Ziggy, Josh, and Martin. She hoped that nothing would go wrong, but something in her gut told her otherwise.
She eyed the killer tbay was going towards her door, it was Ruby Lane.
And, just like clockwork, each door went down, trapping their individual dead serial killers, tying the ropes, and running.
When Y/n looked over to Ziggy, she quickly noticed the door that didn't close all the way.
Her eyes widened when she realized which one Ziggy was dealing with, and quickly ran over to help her.
"Shit, shit, shit!" Y/n mumbled under her breath as she began to tug and pull at the door along with Ziggy. They finally got it down just as The Nightwing Killer got there, hitting the shutters.
Ziggy ran almost immediately, but Y/n couldn't help but stand there, staring at the dead man with a bag over his head.
The man she used to call her lover. The man whose name used to be Tommy Slater. The guy who used to be sweet and caring, and wouldn't hurt a soul. Turned into a ruthless serial killer all because of Nick Goode.
Part of her was tempted to reach inside, thinking that if she just touched him, maybe something like a miracle would happen, and her Tommy would come back to her.
But that wasn't the case, and she knew it. Her Tommy was gone. Dead. Thrown away. Replaced by a soulless dead murderer.
So, she tore her eyes away, finally deciding to run and join Ziggy.
As she caught up to the redhead, Ziggy noticed the distant look in her eyes, "Hey, are you alright?" She whispered.
Y/n shakes the thoughts of Tommy out of her head and looks towards Ziggy, "Other than the fact we're dealing with multiple dead serial killers due to Goode and his bloodline? Yeah, I'm fine." She sighed.
Ziggy knew better, but she didn't pry. She knew exactly what was on Y/n's mind, and she felt horrible.
All those years, blaming the witch, blaming Tommy for her sister's death, when all along it was the man she thought she could trust.
What she didn't think about was the pain that Y/n had been all these years. What Nick had done to her by turning her boyfriend into a monster. All these years not blaming her, but resenting her. Having conversations over the phone like none of it happened and then suddenly not talking at all.
------------
"How many is that?" Deena asked her brother, along with him replying as Ziggy and Y/n entered.
"Five." Y/n responded simply.
"We have five." Ziggy followed.
"Skull mask,"
"Nightwing."
"Ruby."
As they continued to talk, Martin quickly shushed them with a series of loud "Yo"'s.
"Why'd it get so quiet?" He asked, eyes wide.
They all looked at each other before abruptly standing up, staring over the counter of the pizza place, looking towards the tree in the middle of the mall.
As they all hid behind the counter again, Ziggy began to breathe heavily, "it's him."
"You don't have to do this." Deena informed the woman, Y/n butting in with a gentle hand on her shoulder.
"Not alone, at least. I can go with you." She told, a reassuring glint in her eyes.
But Ziggy knew better. She knew that if Y/n were to go with her, she would deviate from the plan, make things worse.
Ziggy's eyes moved to Deena, "Yes, I do." She then looked to Y/n, "and no, you're not going with me. You know that's a horrible idea."
She then stood up and crawled over the counter, Y/n tempted to follow her, but Deena held her back as they all watched.
"Mount up." Deena asserted, getting up and going to her place, Sam grunting in zombie-like anger.
For a moment, Y/n had almost forgotten Sam was there, and one by one, the group began to disperse into their places.
----------------------------------------------
Well, the plan was completely fucked anyways. No fault of Ziggy, or Y/n, or anyone.
Nick now had Ziggy in his grasp, threatening Deena to get the killers away from him as they began to surround him, pointing his gun towards them, though he knew it was pointless.
The only reason the plan was fucked was because he got a hold of Ziggy, but that was quickly dealt with when Nick was stabbed in the back by Skull Mask.
Then, the Milkman had managed to grab Ziggy as she was running away, due to the fact that she now had Deena's blood on her.
Y/n's eyes widened as Josh pointed out the obvious reason to Deena, telling her that her blood got on the redhead.
"Shit!" Y/n cursed as Deena rushed over to help.
Before she knew it, Deena was cutting open her palm, causing a distraction for the monsters to come get her.
Unfortunately, that meant that Skull Mask's attention was ripped away from Nick, which let the horrid man escape.
"Deena!" Y/n yelled, "go after him!"
Josh was also yelling at his sister to go after Goode, "we got him!"
As Deena ran towards Nick's direction, the other three went into a random store, Ziggy throwing her shirt towards the grifter, who was getting closer to them as they closed the shutters.
As much as Y/n was trying to be brave, she could feel her entire body vibrating with fear as she watched the killers closing in.
"Ok," Martin began, "we need a plan B, like, now."
He said as they watched the Grifter pick up the bloody shirt.
"No." Josh said, "we just need more plan A!"
Y/n's eyes followed the Nightwing Killer. If more of the "Plan A" was that they all ran out there and distracted the separate serial killers more, she knew which one she was gonna go after.
Half of her was worried about Deena. She was alone down there with Goode, and with the lack of Ruby Lane being seen now, she was terrified that the dead girl would be going after the very much alive girl.
-------------
As they all ran out and reached for their waterguns, they each chose a serial killer to spray.
The grifter, by Ziggy, Skull Mask by Josh, Milkman by Martin, and the Nightwing Killer by Y/n.
They all hid in another store, hiding behind the window as they huddled together.
"I got that creepy perv motherfucker in the bullseye." Martin smirked. "This is gonna work, right?" He said slightly more worried as the milk man was walking towards them.
Before they knew it, Milkman was getting thrown by Grifter, then the Grifter was attacked by Tom-Nightwing, who was getting attacked by Skull Mask.
The group stood up, looking at the fight with wide eyes as Nightwing's axe was flung to the front of the window they were at.
The plan was working. They were killing each other.
"Guys?" Josh uttered, staring at deathly Sam running in the direction of where Deena and Nick had gone.
Ziggy and Y/n looked at him as he spoke again, "we lost Sam."
"Oh. Fuck." Y/n replied as they watched the doors close.
----------------------------------------------------------
"Right now they're dead, but that's not gonna last. We don't have a lot of time. We have to get ready to fight." Josh ranted as he opened the shutter door.
"Wait." Ziggy said, pulling Josh back, "what is that?"
Y/n swore for the millionth time that night as she looked in the direction of where Ziggy was looking. There, walking and banging his baseball bat against the ground, was Billy Barker. Another dead serial killer. Great.
He then began to bang on the candy machines, and suddenly they heard Ruby Lane's distant singing. She was back.
Y/n was thankful she hadn't gone after Deena after all.
"Ok. OK. You know what?" Martin began as he backed up, grabbing his watergun and pumping it, "at least we still have magic blood." He went to spray it, but nothing came out. He sighed, "I'm tapped."
Ziggy and Y/n went after theirs, both trying and failing. "Me too." Ziggy replies.
"Motherfucker. Really?" Y/n groaned as she threw down her empty watergun.
"No, no, no!" Josh began frantically, "we can find other weapons! W-we can use the delivery hallway, outflank them!" He stuttered, "W-We-"
He was cut off my Martin suggesting to wait it out.
"What?" Josh replied in disbelief, "No, no! No, we're too close! Too many people have died, and I'm not letting them take my sister, too! We have to protect her."
Ziggy and Martin looked away from him as Y/n stared, heart breaking at the kid's pleads. He even said please.
Y/n looked around at the other two adults in the room, who seemed to have given up.
She shook her head, taking a deep breath and moving to Josh's side, putting a shaky hand on Josh's shoulder. "The kid's right. We can't give up now. There must be some other thing that we can do to stop them. I'm not letting anyone else die today, not when we're so close to the finish line. So, either you help come up with an idea, or you stay here like cowards whilst I run out there like an idiot to be a distraction. Your choice."
When the two stayed silent, she made her way out of the store, picking up Tomm-Nightwing's axe and gripping it tightly as Josh and the other two followed her, standing near the store entrance.
She took a deep breath, glancing at Josh and nodding at him before standing up and beginning to walk.
She knew it was stupid. She could get herself killed by doing this, but she had to. Someone had to be the brave adult and sacrifice, and she wasn't about to let Josh do it.
She could see the eagerness in his eyes when she had picked up the axe. She knew that he wanted to yank it from her grasp and do it himself, but she couldn't let that happen. Because if Deena survives, Josh has to as well.
She's not letting another kid grow up without a sibling. She can't stand there and watch helplessly.
---------------------------------------------
She spotted Ruby Lane first, her breathing unsteady as her heart began to beat fast in her chest once more, her grip on the axe as tight as can be.
Josh watched, repeating the ultimate cheat code under his breath. Though he had only spent a short time with the woman under deathly circumstances, he wanted her to come out of this alive. After everything she had been through, she deserves a good ending. One where she doesn't have to grieve, or worry, or get angry over.
Taking a deep breath, Y/n swings the axe into Ruby's shoulder, knocking her down and spraying blood everywhere.
She swings again, but misses and hits the wall, giving Ruby a chance to turn around and swing her blade into the woman's side, slicing it and making her cry out.
Ruby had gotten the hold over her, grabbing at her face trying to tear it apart.
Thats when Josh rushed over without a thought, grabbing the abandoned axe and swinging it into Ruby, making her let go of Y/n.
Unfortunately, it meant that Ruby's attention was now on Josh, and she got a hold of him, doing the same thing to her.
She wanted to help him, but Josh yelled at her to run, so holding her side, she began to limp away, forgetting about the discarded axe.
As Josh was yelling "get off of me!" And trying to avoid Ruby's blade with a now injured shoulder, she was shot through the head.
As Ruby fell, Y/n and Josh looked to see Ziggy holding a gun, and Martin beside her.
"That's one." She pointed out.
-----------------------------------------------------
The three were now standing side by side, Y/n holding her side whilst Josh held his shoulder, Ziggy pointing her gun towards the enclosing killers.
Ziggy shot Billy twice, though it had no affect due to his mask being in the way, and as she went for her third shot, all the gun did was click. She was out.
"I'm...that's it!" She cried out, and Billy began walking towards them again, banging his bat against the ground as he did so.
Meanwhile, Ruby was finally getting up, glaring at the group as she slowly raised from the ground.
----------------------------------------------------
Suddenly, Y/n found herself being tackled by Nightwing, the others distracted by the other serial killers.
She struggled under him, he had his axe back.
As she looked at him, she could see the faint outline of his face from behind the mask, his axe raising to hit her.
She felt herself pleading to him, begging him not to do it, as if he'd listen.
She called him by his name over and over, "Tommy. Tommy please!", "Tommy don't!", "Tommy, this isn't you!"
She knew he couldn't hear her. He was long gone, nothing but a puppet made for Goode's terrible intentions.
But still, she called him by his name. She cried, and screamed, feeling her throat getting raw.
And for a moment, she swore she saw him pause, like for that singular second, her boyfriend had returned.
Or maybe it was her mind playing tricks on her due to the adrenaline and fear running through her veins. Even so, the axe began to swing down.
So, she closed her eyes, waiting for the searing pain of the axe slicing through her flesh, waiting for darkness to swallow her whole for eternity.
But, it never came.
And suddenly, she heard cheering.
As she opened her eyes, Tommy Slater, the Nightwing Killer of '78, was no longer on top of her. And the axe, no longer a threat to her life.
Deena had done it. All of the killers were gone, and so was Nick Goode.
She shot up, slightly disoriented as she looked in the direction of Ziggy, Martin, and Josh.
They all had gigantic grins on their faces as they quickly moved to her, Ziggy helping the woman up and immediately hugging her.
"She did it." Ziggy cried out happily as she gripped onto her old best friend. The girl she relied on when she couldn't rely on her sister all those years ago.
Y/n smiled, hugging the girl back as she pretended she wasn't in a huge amount of pain, not wanting to ruin the moment.
Some part of her felt a tinge of sadness, though, at the thought of never seeing Tommy again.
But the other part of her was relieved. And happy, and that feeling of guilt began to wash away.
--------------------------------------------------------
Y/n entered her home with a sigh of relief, excited about the fact she could finally take a shower after the stressful (and almost deathly) night she had.
As she walked into her room to gather her first aide kit (she didn't want to bother going to the hospital) as well as some new clothes, she spotted the photograph that she had abandoned on her bed.
She smiled as she walked over and picked it up, staring at the blurry photo of Tommy, hugging it close.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, opening them as she exhaled, and walked over to her dresser that was littered with several similar photos from her days at camp.
She placed it between the photo of her, Ziggy, and Cindy, and the photo of her, Alice, and Artie. Completing the collection.
She stepped back, a fond and gentle smile replacing her normal one as she finally looked at them without feeling grief.
As she turned to go dress her wound, she could've sworn she felt something cold touch her shoulder.
She shrugged it off as just blood loss, and closed her bedroom door.
--------------------------------------------------------

Curses Ending
• Fear Street . 1978 - "I swear, if I could I would change their story, I would try to make them live" That's what she told herself.

I honestly thought this chapter would be shorter, there would be so many different things that I decided to change to make it shorter. Anyway, I apologize for any spelling errors. :)
I hate what I've become, the nightmare has just begun. I've been walking in this forest for about a few minutes, I don't know for sure, I lost track of time. My clothes got more torn because of the tree branches getting stuck but that doesn't matter what really makes me relieved is the fact that I didn't find any Shadyside in the forest, rather none of the children, I hope I don't find one in the end . I managed to make myself run as much as I could when I was conscious but now the only thing I can have some control over is my speech. I thought of a perfect way to attack Nick, he got dirty with the blood of several victims and that made Tommy hit him in the leg, unfortunately I already know that I will have to sacrifice children to be able to save others, that's not fair, that makes me sad. Looking around me I see that the trees are now less crowded which means I'm getting closer to the camp. Tommy. Cindy. Alice. Get out of this damn caverns as quickly as possible and kill me before it's you. Just a small sacrifice. I feel my left foot hit something making me almost fall, I balance myself again and look at the ground. It's a stupid rock. I ignore it, I start walking again but feeling a little pain from the crash, great, not ironically that's great, making it difficult for my body can help them gain more time! I can see a little of the camp here, that's terrible. Oh shit, shit! This is the cabin where Jeremy stays!! No no!! For the love of God, turn in another direction! This damn body that I can't control, please Jeremy, don't you be there, don't arrest those kids from Sunnyvale, please just confirm these lies for me! I'm getting closer and closer to the cabin and through the window I can see that Jeremy has spotted the other lake group from outside his cabin, I might be competent enough to kill this group, right? Jeremy kicks the door open and looks around just looking for someone when the boys come out of the dark throwing eggs calling him a nerd and quickly they enter the cabin saving the rest of their prisoner team, poor Jeremy tries to make them listen. — " Hey! That's not fair! No!! Hey Hey!! Dude.. " He swings his arms and wipes his egg-stained face and glasses, without me realizing I'm in front of the cabin and Jeremy is turning back, when he turns around he sees me, all bloody and dirty with branches and dirt, I feel my eyes filling with tears. — " Y/n? " He calls me confused. Stay away from me, the beast is ugly. I enter the hut holding the ax firmly and quickly attack it in the face, giving several blows. Jeremy, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!! You're a good boy, you didn't deserve to be going through this! You didn't deserve to die at the hands of someone you had your first crush on, for someone who always praised and supported you,I'm sorry for making you go through all this suffering of death, first you feel pain and then emptiness, right? I gave it as it is, this is too painful for a simple little boy. Seeing the final state of the body, no, this is no longer a body. I sliced this boy into pieces, scratched his arms, opened his chest, disfigured his face and tore off his head, I can see a bit of his brain because of the entrances and I see his bones all broken. I feel my stomach turn at this sight, a tear falls from my eyes and rolls down my face, I leave the cabin and return to my search. You deserved to live, Jeremy. I feel the anger and I just can't hold it back.
Even though I'm far from the place I can hear the screams of the crowd of people who gathered just to discover the body, I try not to look back so I don't have to deal with this scene but I can hear Nick ordering everyone to go to the cafeteria, just hearing his voice I wanted for a moment to turn around, but I'm not stupid, not at that level. As I'm walking a quick view of all the Shadyside killers, all the deaths they cause and lastly was me, killing Arnie. I catch the breath I lost for a moment, Alice must have touched that disgusting pile of meat, I'm sorry you saw that. Alice, just please don't hate me. I hear Gary knocking on the sign trying to get everyone's attention at the camp, he also shouts, Nick must now be counting the number of people, wait, Joan and Kurt. Joan, you idiot, if I find you and you had sex with Kurt, I will kill you! Not in the literal sense, but unfortunately I will. I see Kurt's cottage and his window is open which gave me a vision of Joan, well, I can even hear her moaning from afar, she is wearing a blue blouse and lit a joint in the few seconds she was forced to put it out because of Kurt, I enter the chalet without the two of them hearing but I leave the door half open and then I see Joan walking past me realizing that someone had entered her partner's room. When she turns back she notices me. — " Y/n?! " Joan asks, surprised to see me like this, when she gets closer she lets out a scream and I hit her in the chest and head, I close my eyes tightly and quickly leave the place. Sorry Joan. I can feel it beneath my skin. I must confess, I feel like a monster.
I open my eyes and look around looking for more people, I shouldn't have killed them both, I could have just killed one person and waited for Nick to get dirty but I'm sure not an employee, as much as I wanted it to be that way . I don't deserve forgiveness. Everyone deals with Shadyside in their own way, like Alice said. I hear Ziggy shouting at Nick trying to remember Sheila, the bathroom scene! Maybe I can change that! I feel my face give a shaky smile, maybe I still have a little control, I notice a light coming from one of the cabins, the arts one, my damn time has come. My body walks towards the hut, the flame goes out once but is lit again, giving both of them the view of me at the entrance, I'm sorry, another tear falls down my face. — " Monitor Y/n? " The girl questions me but I don't answer, I just hit her body with several blows from the axe, I have no light, I don't see what I'm doing but I know I'm being cruel to them. Your screams of pain. Agony. Despair surrounds me. I will never forget them. I'd rather die than live a lifetime dealing with this, dealing with the weight of these deaths. Why doesn't anyone come and save me from this? This is breaking me. Outside the cabin I see Ziggy going to the bathroom to help Sheila, if I could I would kill this girl, automatically my body starts walking towards the bathroom, I hear Ziggy fighting with Sheila, she begs to be heard and then punches her face after being slapped. Gary entered the bathroom as he also heard the sounds of the fight. Cindy, Alice and Tommy started screaming for help! Thank God you are okay! My face has a bad smile but it's better than the previous one, that means I have more control, wonderful! — " My sister is deprived! " Ziggy says to Gary, is she so loud that I heard her from a few meters away? But I wanted to laugh at that line, Nick must already be finding Kurt's body, now I can kill this bastard. I start to take my first steps entering the bathroom and I feel a great adrenaline invade my body. I like adrenaline. When Alice was about to leave that cave I enter the bathroom holding the ax with both hands, Gary looks at me but before I could think of what to do I hit him in the neck, ripping his head off and making his blood spurt, Ziggy screams Upon seeing the scene, Alice falls and Gary's body is taken with her, leaving only his head in the bathroom, and upon seeing the corpse, all three scream. A scared Ziggy starts to move away from me but I scream shakily.
— " No!! Do not go!! " Which makes her more scared and surprised which results in her looking at me confused, Tommy must have heard me because he was the first to stay silent, I start walking towards Ziggy holding the ax in one hand. I look at her from top to bottom with sadness, I place my hand on her cheek and move it down to her neck, lifting her chin, I feel her swallow dry for fear that I will choke her. — " Ziggy...! " I say sadly happily, I managed to smile easily, I feel my eyes filling with more tears. — " Please just kill me. " I ask her trying to hold back my tears but some escape, Ziggy looks at me stunned and starts to shake her head and say. — " No no! I can't! You-" I interrupted her. — " You can! Just take that damn ax and hit me in the head! There is no escape for me, he wants my soul, my heart." I say while he's still disagreeing with me. — " You will come out alive, with the one you love and you will be very happy, just say that I was to blame for everything! " I say but Ziggy lets out a scream. — " No!! " This makes Cindy start to scream even more worried, I can hear that she is crying. — " I can't kill the only good person I have left! " I open my mouth to speak but I hit myself with a punch in the face, making me fall to the ground, I feel my consciousness fading and my vision darkening until I can't hear anything anymore.
__________________________★___________________________
I start to open my eyes, my body is wet and someone calls my name, slapping me lightly on the cheek, my vision gets used to the light and I can see the person in front of me, it's Sarah Fier! — " Sarah? " I call her confused, she lets out a smile of relief when she hears me. — " Thank God! I thought she had died! " She answers me and hugs me, even though I'm wet, her hug is strong. — " What happened? " I question her confused, I have no memory of what happened before I woke up, she loosens the hug and looks at me. — " We were walking together when you decided to play walking on the river rocks, I warned you it was dangerous but you didn't listen to me and that was when you fell into the water and hit your head, for a moment I thought you had died. " She explains the events to me and a flash comes into my head, she was telling the truth, I look at her and give a weak smile. — " No, sorry, I should have listened to you. " I asked her for forgiveness and the answer was her laughing and getting me up. — " Now come on, I have to hand this brat over to Solomon. " She says with a smile on her face, walking again and I follow her. — " With those clothes all wet? I'd better stay outside waiting for the sun to dry me. " I just told her about my situation with the outfits and received a sweet laugh from her in response. When we arrive at Solomon's residence, I sit on a rock so I can dry myself, as I was dry the whole way here, Sarah looks at me but continues entering the house, I look at the two tombs next to me , wife and son, it was a sad tragedy. I see Sarah leaving the house and Solomon is standing there at the door watching her leave until he notices my presence. — " I thought mermaids liked water. " He mocks me, I roll my eyes laughing at his joke. — " I catch the fish, I'm not one of them! " I respond and link my arms with Sarah's, I see the girl laughing at me and I slap her on the shoulder making her laugh.
We are back in the village, I nod to some people as a way of greeting, I see Thomas walking drunk until his eyes find me and he comes towards me. Sarah sighs in irritation. Thomas comes close to me and starts to say. — " Did the mermaid just feed on another fisherman? " He asks teasing me. — " I would never eat my own father. " I return it in kind, the drunk smiles, I use my hand to place it on his chest and push him away. Continuing to walk with Sarah I see the woman roll her eyes and look at me. — " Why do they call you a mermaid so much? " He questions me curiously. — " Maybe because of my appearance, or just because I'm a fisherman and the only thing I do is scare men away from my targets. I don't like sharing my food. " I respond with my nose in the air and throw a sarcastic look at the brunette, she smiles. I leave her at the door of her house and wave goodbye, I walk towards my house and see my father looking at our plantation, I open the fence door and enter the garden and say to my father: — " Not going fishing today? " Caught by surprise, he turns to me and smiles before responding. — " Later, the fish should still be waking up. Your mother must need help, better come in. " He suggests and I nod my head in agreement as I enter the house, finding my mother preparing our food, too distracted to notice me. — " Need help? " I ask her. — " Take the carrots and cut them for me. " He orders and I obey, taking the knife and carrots, I feel the older girl look at me and turn her focus back to the food. — " You're going out tonight, aren't you? " My blood runs cold at her sudden question, how did she find out? I stutter before speaking. — " N-No! Why do you think that? " I question her, trying not to seem nervous. — " There's no need to worry, I've done this too, just be discreet and don't make any noise so as not to wake your father. " She answers me, looking into my eyes, I breathe a sigh of relief and give a smile of thanks.
The waters of the river touch my feet, it's afternoon and my father gave me permission so I could stay a little longer in the river, I'll take the opportunity to bathe for the meeting I'll have at dusk. I remove my clothes starting with the blouse, untying it, taking my big skirt off my hips, being totally naked I slowly enter the water hugging her with passion. I go in and out to the surface to catch my breath. I swim as if I were dancing around a fire, the feeling of being alone is only with what I connect with. — " Are you trying to seduce me? " I'm startled by the male voice and I turn my head towards him, I breathe a sigh of relief when I see that it's Thomas, he's not the best person to meet but he's better than anyone else, I run my hand through my hair and look at him. — " Do you feel seduced? " I provoke him. — " Perhaps. " He responds making me laugh. — " So let's say yes. " He comes closer to the river's edge. — " We are not married, Y/n, I have to resist carnal desires. " He tries to provoke me again but that only makes me laugh again, I look at him, we stay for a few seconds looking at each other intensely, his eyes are as clear as these waters, his hair is blonde but with this dirt it is darkened, his beard is grown but this It just adds more charm. — " You're dirty, go in and take a shower. " I make a bold offer, his eyes widen in surprise but a mischievous smile soon appears on his face. — " It's a tempting offer, you're wicked, y/n. " I roll my eyes and respond: — " I'm being generous with you, I don't like sharing. " I correct him, I turn my back so he can undress, the noise of his clothes being removed and thrown away becomes dark, the water begins to move with his movements, his body is increasingly closer to me and when he was very close I pull away and turn towards him. — " I'm not easy prey, try to catch me. " I encourage him, I start to walk in circles around him but he enters the water, taking me by surprise. I look around for his presence when I'm caught underneath, I let out a startled scream and look at his face, which shows amusement. — " I achieved. " He responds by whispering in my ear, a smile appears on my lips and I look at him. — " You got me. " I say, he doesn't answer me, we start looking at each other, his eyes go from mine to my lips and back, I look at his left eye and then at his right and I look down at his lips, which look so tempting. A strange tension has arisen between us, it's so exciting, I don't know when we started to get closer but his face is inches from mine, I place my hand on his cheek and pull him into a slow and passionate kiss, it would be strange to confess that I have a crush by drunk Thomas, his hands go to my waist pulling me closer,We pull away to catch our breath but he returns with a more intense kiss.
I find myself in my room looking at the window waiting for nightfall, I see if Sarah and the others have already left their house, when I notice some people leaving, I see my hood and I leave my room, going down the stairs in silence at the entrance to the house, I close it. the door and go out towards the girls. We are walking through the forest in search of the widow, a long walk. — " The fruits allow us to see a world beyond our own. Just with one bite. " Lizzie told us. — " Why does an old woman need this? " Sarah questions Lizzie. — " She is not just any old woman, the widow is a thousand years old! She drinks the blood of virgins to keep her young. " Lizzie says something curious which makes Sarah smile before saying ironically. — " Then you are saved. " Lizzie looks at Sara, Sarah laughs and then looks at Hannah. — " The widow sacrificed her husband to become the devil's bride, that's how she gained eternal life. " Lizzie talks more about the widow, making me curious. — " Solomon told me that she lives with the natives, and that she even fell in love with one of them. " I say looking at the floor remembering this fact told to me. — " for this she was exiled, and also learned their medicine. Solomon told me. " Sarah says, making me pay attention to every word she says. Sarah closes her expression a little before returning. — " He took his wife to her after losing his son but.. it was too late. " She says sadly, I feel sorry for everything he went through, Hannah looks at the road and then looks at Lizzie and says: — " Are you sure this is the right way? How do you know where we're going? " The blonde questions her, making her stop walking and turn towards us. — " I've been here before, remember when Abigail had the ring on fire? " She remembers us, making everyone laugh. — " She was scratching herself like a dog during my father's sermon. My mother said she had slept with the devil, the devil's gift. " Hannah tells us. — " She's more like crazy Thomas' present. " Sarah speaks sarcastically but I remain silent at the comment, maybe I felt a little jealous, maybe I rolled my eyes a little, just maybe. — " Whoever Abigail was made me accompany her to the widow. " Lizzie says making us walk again. — " And the widow healed with witchcraft? " Hannah asks her curiously. — " Yes, witchcraft, and a smelly paste made for bitches like Abigail Berman. " Lizzie says making me smile, just a few meters away was the widow's house.
Lizzie sent us to look for the fruits, she went with Hannah and I stayed with Sarah, looking around the place analyzing its strange magical objects. I came face to face with an eye-catching box. — " Hey Sarah! Come see this! " I call her to find out what is inside the black box that luckily is open, when we open it we find a large book with several pages, more pages than the Bible itself, Sarah opens the book stopping at a page with several things written on it, she passes Analyzing the pages, we stop at one where there is a drawing of the devil. — " Abaddon. " Sarah reads. — " Azazel. " I read. — " Beelzebub. " — " Moloch. " Sarah stays silent for a few seconds before saying. — " Satan. " She says. — " No! " We quickly got up and came face to face with the widow behind us. — " Widow... " Sarah whispers. — " The veil has grown thin with the turning of the moon, and with it the morning star rises. Beware the devil. He lives in this book. This is how he is invoked. " The widow grabs Sarah's wrist, which was holding a knife, as a way of protecting herself, she leaves the knife on her cheek, almost piercing her. — " He feels you now, and if you're not careful, he's going to get under her skin and devour you from the inside out. " I look at the scared situation when Hannah appears calling Sarah's name. The widow begins to order us to leave. — " Go away! Go away!! Out, out!! Everyone get out!! " We ran out of the witch's house, her house was shaking in the wind and her bonfire was agitated. When we arrive at the designated place we see several people, some are dancing, talking, others are kissing, surrendering to the sins of the flesh, everyone is drunk. We find Abigail at the campfire having something with our companion, when we catch their attention they both look back and face Lizzie. — " The full moon rises. " She says extending her hand showing the fruits she had picked. We all gather in a circle and start to take a fruit from her hand, Hannah looks at Sarah before eating the fruit. — " To the fruits of the earth. " Hannah says with a smile on her face, Sarah looks and then eats the fruit and then I do the same. I don't know what's in this fruit but it's incredible, I feel like I'm in paradise, my body is light while spinning, my mind is somewhere else while I'm dancing, it's like I'm in the sea without actually being in it, my body is smooth. I see a man grab Hannah, forcing her to take off her clothes when Sarah gets in the way, the man says something about her being a bitch and gets punched in the face. — "I should look for a mule, she doesn't notice how short his organ is! " I tell him defending Sarah, people laugh, I have a provocative smile on my face, the man looks at me and leaves irritated, meanwhile Sarah and Hannah leave hand in hand to somewhere more private,I already know these two are going to get ready.
I walked through the entire forest alone, it was the best feeling I had, being alone just in the presence of the moon, the trees, the birds, the insects, without being afraid of being raped, I walked so much that I didn't realize that I had already I had returned to the village where I see Sarah and Hannah kissing goodbye, I smile when I see the two together and I start walking towards my house again when I hear someone calling me. — " Y/n, y/n, you shouldn't be out so late. " Thomas, drunk, says to me as he takes a sip of his drink, I remain silent for a few seconds before responding. — " I say the same to you. I should drink less. " I advise you to go back to walking. I enter my house silently and go towards my room, I remove my skirt leaving me in just my nightgown. I am violently woken up by my mother. — " Wake up! It's already half past six!! " I get up, scratching my eyes and giving only a grunt in response to my mother, the woman leaves my room and goes back to doing what she did before, I put on my clothes and tie up my hair, I go to I go to the kitchen and grab some bread so I can eat and out of the corner of my eye I see my mother praying some rosary, I get closer to her and question her. — " Did something happen, mom? " She shuts up before answering me. — " The pastor is sick, I'm praying he gets well. " She answers me curtly, which leaves me confused and sad, but I ignore it and leave the house, my father is not on the plantation, strange, I open the door to the pen and go out to the village, taking a few steps until I see Sarah being thrown out. from the shepherd's house. — " God knows who you are girl! Pray that he has mercy on your soul! " The older woman shouts to Sarah, I stay paralyzed watching the whole scene, I noticed some people looking at me and whispering a few times but I ignored them and ran towards Sarah, helping her to get up, people looked at us, little Sarah to accompany me to her house . — " Thomas said things about you. He said you seduced several men and gave their flesh to the devil. Most didn't take it seriously but many wonder. " I feel my body freeze when I hear this, my heart hurts, my lungs hurt, my stomach hurts, I feel my eyes want to fill with tears when I hear these words. That bastard, he betrayed me! He used me! I let him taste my skin so it wouldn't end up being that?! This bastard will get what he deserves. I swallowed hard but continued taking Sarah to the entrance of her house, when we arrived she told me to go back home, she wanted better for me, I listened to her advice but before I could even walk I felt my arm being grabbed tightly and I was being dragged to the door. my house, when I enter I am thrown to the floor, I look back and see my father furious. — " What did you do, Y/n?! What did you do in that lake?! " He asks me violently, I drag myself back trying to keep my distance. — " I just bathed! I swear! " I lie, I lie to your face. — " That's not what Thomas has been saying! Is there anything you want to tell me?! Did you go out at night?! " He asks me, holding me by my hair so I look at him, I shake my head frantically no. — " Your mother can't even bear to look at your face, she feels disgusted, as I do too. I fear her lack of education has failed you. I failed creating you. I shouldn't have given you so much freedom, you're not a boy. I should have tried to continue having a boy instead of investing my teachings in you. " His eyes are deep and full of anger, anguish, sadness anddisappointment, he lets go of my hair and leaves my face, going to the kitchen to get a drink, I feel a tear run down my face and a knot As my throat grows, I look to the side and see the figure of my mother, she doesn't show any ounce of empathy towards me.
if a day has passed since what happened, I'm lying in my bed, no one comes and wakes me up with a good morning, no one will come and kiss me on the forehead, no one, I get up from the bed and put on my clothes but I leave my hair down, it reaches my waist which is what I like about it, when I left the room I noticed that every room is silent which is strange so I go to the kitchen looking for food but a strong odor invades the air, some Mosquitoes are hanging around here, I look at the food and realize that they are all rotten, I can see maggots in the flour, I feel my stomach turn when I see that but I hold on and leave the house. Walking through the village I find Sarah Fier with her clothes slightly stained with blood, I stand next to her in silence, our looks already say a lot for us, I hear Thomas saying things to the people in the village, about the devil, the horse is moving, people are around the can trying to pull something out of it. — " What it was? What is happening? " Sarah asks Abigail. — " The bucket got stuck on something. " She responds simply, seeing the men doing their best to pull out whatever was inside, after a few more efforts they begin to lift the bucket, attracting the attention of several people who came closer to the well. — " Is coming! Is coming! Here it comes! " An old bearded man says, Thomas stays near the well, after the bucket rises you can see the corpse of a dog wrapped in ropes, they are around God's neck, this dog is Sarah's. — " Our water is poisoned! " The older woman says through tears. — " Do not come?! We have already drunk from the cup of darkness! " Thomas says to the people around him, I squeeze Sarah's hand as a way of comfort. — " This is the work of the devil. He came to take our lands! " Thomas exclaims to everyone, making my eyes go to him. — " Which one of you brought the devil to Union? " He asks abusively, I close my eyes at him and leave so I don't have to hear any more nonsense from him. I'm in the lake, in that same lake, I place my hand on my belly, this period was supposed to have already started and this is worrying me, I worry that my actions have brought a bad father to a possible fetus. I can't confirm. Not for now. When this belly grows bigger, my breasts swell, I will tell everyone the true truth, but a much more painful truth, the sky is already late, it's the middle of the day, I start walking back to the village. People look at me, they whisper about me, they judge me, but the only one who looks at me with amusement is that damn drunk, damn Thomas, our eyes meet, my smells of hate and his are full of malice.
A crowd of people are around the meeting house, I see Sarah arriving with Solomon, I hear that the pastor has all the children inside, shit! Constantine and Henry!! I get closer to the door trying to open it but it doesn't work, I see Solomon go to the back doors and I follow him, more men come after and soon after Sarah appears with the rest, after pushing the door so much it opens and nothing is heard . — " Keep everyone away. " Solomon orders and Sarah tries to call for him but he has already picked up a gun and he enters, a crowd of people starts surrounding the entrance trying to get in, I get closer to the entrance and push the people blocking my way and I enter the meeting room and a crowd enters with me, when I enter I come face to face with the pastor with his eyes gouged out and the children too, their eyes were together on the ground, a disgusting pile Sarah screams when she sees her brother's body, the pastor starts walking towards her When I realized I shouted his name. — " Sarah!!" Solomon runs towards the shepherd pastor and attacks him from the side, his body falls next to Sarah who is terrified, I run to her and hug her tightly, people are scared and Thomas with his speeches is only getting worse. Me, Sarah and Hannah are at the window watching the men argue about what will be done. Mr. Berman begins to make a speech saying that we need to find out who caused all this, that the pastor was possessed by darkness, by darkness. Thomas starts to say. — " I saw three lambs from our city, laughing, having fun, on the last full moon! " He argues, making the men scream, idiot, Simon begins to tell the truth that several were there, that they were there for fun, we danced, we drank, we celebrated! We are not sinners! But the men were furious, Thomas said that we would have the mark of the devil which made many feel like taking off our clothes to see our bodies. Solomon's brother spoke beautifully, then another old man began to speak. — " I mapped it out on my patrols. This scourge is in Union, I searched the forest! It does not extend beyond the village. This one. It's in Union! We are being punished, and I have a list of names!! " The men celebrate when they hear the possibility of having people who can hang, they beg for them to be said, Solomon enters the middle asking them to stop making everyone pay attention to him. — " Listen to yourselves! Speculation! Hunting.. shadows! Imagining curses. " Solomon points out the holes in these accusations. — " Now I ask, do you have any proof? " The man remains silent. — " No? And you? " Solomons asks Thomas and I only respond with a snort and an eye roll, you pathetic guy. — " or any of you!! " A man stands up. — " I have evidence! " Damn, the same mule I looked at penis size. — " A few nights ago, when the full moon rose right next to the sun. While I was sleeping, she came to me. She bewitched me! And she took me to the forest, she was naked... and riding a red mule. And the red mule became a man with horns! She made me watch while she slept with the devil. It made my organ shorten like a threat!" He said, leaving everyone in shock, I didn't need to use a spell to shorten his penis! You did this alone. — " Who?! " A man asked. — " He made me watch as the three lay with the devil... & quot; He adds leaving more shock in the air. — " Who are the three of them lying down?! " They ask, a moment of silence before answering. — " Hannah Miller, Sarah Fier and Y/n. " The woman begins to disagree with her daughter's accusations, Mr. Fier stands up in shock and my mother and my father are in a state of shock. — " Witches! " Thomas and thousands of men gather, thousands of men begin to say they saw us, even those who must have been in a deep sleep when it happened! The men all join in a hunt against us, the man, upon realizing that we were watching them, points out our hiding place, a crowd of men left the house going after us.
Thousands of men chase us behind our figure, we are running as fast as we can. — " We need to get out of here!! " Sarah says desperately. — " Where?! " Hannah asks her even more desperately and trips over a rock, we are both close to the fence if we go back we will be caught! — " Run! " Hannah asks us, I hold Sarah's hand and we run into the forest while men surround her. Crowds gather to invade the houses in search of the two of us, Sarah and I are at her house and we find her father lying on the floor completely drunk, Sarah whimpers when she sees this scene, my heart hurts, we quickly hide when we see that they are searching the residence, Sarah grabs her knife and we run after another house, they are after the Fiers, my parents, they are threatening to kill us! Sarah and I walked towards the meeting room being discreet, I picked up a stone and threw it in another direction, attracting the attention of the man on guard, making him leave the place and we quickly entered the house. Poor Hannah was deplorable, clothes torn, chained, completely dirty, Sarah runs to her. — " What they did to you? " The brunette asks. — " I.. I will be hanged in the morning.. and if you don't run away you will be too. " Hannah alerts. — " No! " Sarah whispers. — " Pay attention, you need to escape. " The two look at each other then Sarah starts talking. — " No, I won't leave you. " Sarah denies it. — " But she must. " Hannah demands, the blonde sits on the floor tiredly. — " It's my fault after all. " The blonde confesses, Sarah shakes her head. — " No-" Hannah interrupts.— " I brought the devil. " Hannah states. — " That's not how it works, you don't summon the devil by accident. A choice needs to be made. " Sarah corrected her by saying what she learned from Solomon. — " Don't you understand? " Hannah questions her. — " It doesn't matter if we did it or not. They think we are guilty so we are. " Hannah says seriously and looking deeply at her lover, Sarah looks at her thinking about what she just heard. — " You're right. Everyone believes we did it. So what difference does it make if we did it now? " Sarah says, leaving Hannah confused with her words. — " what are you saying? " The blonde asks. — " I'll look for the widow. I'm going to make a deal with the devil. Maybe this can save us. " Sarah says one with a shred of hope, Hannah issurprised by the crazy idea. — " But what with the devil... Are you crazy? " Hannah questions Sarah's insane idea. — " I don't fear the devil. Hannah, I fear the neighbor who accuses me. I fear the mother, who lets her daughter be hanged. " Sarah says in a melancholic and poetic way, running her fingers over her beloved's face. — " I fear Union. They take us to the slaughterhouse and like lambs wait for us to follow. But you'll see, I don't give a lamb. " The brunette says bravely but the noises of the men looking for us make us come back to reality. — " When this is all over, we will leave this place, we will go far away. And we dance all night, and we'll fight in daylight. " Sarah quickly kisses Hannah. — " I can not lose you. " Hannah says sadly. — " And she won't. If they want a witch, I'll give them a witch. "
Sarah and I are at the widow's house but before I enter she stops me and looks into my eyes. — " You're pregnant, aren't you? " She takes me by surprise with her question, I open and close my mouth before responding, swallowing hard. — " It's not a certainty, but-" she interrupts me. — " Well, I confirm, your belly is bigger, your breasts are fuller, with milk. " She speaks to me, I look at her with tears, my mouth trembles. — " I can't allow you to live this, run away, run away! " She orders me pushing me away but I stop her. — " No!! I can't leave you!! You can die!! " I argue. — " You too!.. who is the father? " Sarah asks me while she looks at my belly, I take a deep breath, holding back the tears even more. — " Oh Thomas.. " Whispers in an auditory tone, I hear her whisper. — " Traitor. " She stays silent looking at me, she hugs me tightly, I return her hug, finally letting some tears flow, she lets go of me and walks away saying: — " Go. Go now! " She ordered and I obeyed, like a dog, no matter how much I fight she will insist and will always win, I turn my back and run towards the waters, may they take me wherever I need to go.
It's been a few weeks, a few weeks since Sarah died and cursed these lands, I saw her hanging from afar and for the first time I cried until my body hurt, until my body was exhausted, I joined my group to bury her in a worthy place. Only we know where it is. But only I know that she will not rest. My belly is more visible than last time, it is small but visible, because my body has a flat belly I believe it has resulted in it being more visible. I'm always coming to the lake just to watch it and remember the memories, remember what I did, what it resulted in, and how I'm going to end up, I feel very small but you don't deserve any of this. The sounds of footsteps take me out of my thoughts, which makes me step back in surprise, then look to the side I find the one I least want. Thomas. — " Are you alive. " She states surprised to see my presence. — " Yes, I'm alive in the flesh. " I tell him. Thomas tries to walk towards me but I walk back keeping my distance, he stops, he looks at me from top to bottom as if he was analyzing me. I let out a sigh before speaking. — " I'm Pregnant. The child is yours. " Her expression melts into one I don't quite understand, a mix of sadness and surprise, I imagine. He takes a step trying to get closer but remembers what had just happened, I pull out a knife that was hidden and look into his blue eyes that I love so much. — " This is the last time we will see Thomas. " I tell you, Thomas' reaction is one of confusion, he tilts his head and continues to look at me. — " What do you mean? " He asks and I quickly answer. — " I'm leaving. I cursed you, Thomas. You will spend all your last years alive suffering in regret over the accusations made. He will suffer for having killed an innocent man. You will hear the cries of a newborn child every time you walk through the night feeling the empty moonlight. When you're in your dreams I'll be there to drown you. " He cursed, he cursed, saying every word with hatred, I raised the knife towards my neck, Thomas, seeing what would happen, tried to run towards me but it was too late. I already ran the blade across my throat. My body falls and I feel myself being grabbed. My breathing getting weaker, I hear the sound of the waters. Is cold. My eyes start to blink slowly and I finally take my last breath.

Pov'tommy
She hit Arnie in the face several times with the axe, blood splashed all over his face and clothes, Alice and Cindy are terrified on the same level as me. — " Let's go! Now! " I tell them pulling them, Y/n looks back giving a full view of her bloody face, no that's not her. Her gaze is empty, soulless. As if something had worn her skin. Cindy screams, breaking me out of my thoughts, I pull them both to the other side of the cave so we can escape. Both are quick to look for a way out, Cindy goes to the bookshelf trying to push it. — " He comes! It helps me! " She asks desperately, Alice and I run to help the brunette and quickly knock down the shelf. She's close! — " Go Go!! Now!! " I scream pushing Alice and Cindy to go faster, when I was close to entering my legs are grabbed and a fight is started, Cindy and Alice try to pull me while I'm trying to kick the hands of my best friend, she has the slip of Let go of one of my legs and kick his nose out of his face. I'm sorry about that y/n. An avalanche of rocks begin to fall on the entrance and I drag myself back to avoid being crushed. A pile of rocks is blocking the entrance, I look at Cindy as she holds herself back from crying. — " Listen to this. " Alice catches our attention, I hear the sound of unregulated breathing, coming from the other side. — " Is she still alive? " I ask myself worriedly but deep down I'm relieved that I didn't kill her. — " She's trapped. " She says trying to bring comfort to us. — " She's trapped. " She whispers more to herself, a way of trying to calm down. — " I... I'm a monster. " I hear a/n whispering on the other side, she's conscious! But it seems that only I noticed what was said.
— " This is a cave but it looks like, like, I don't know! It seems like it never ends... " Cindy says analyzing the entire cave. — " I don't call. " I look at Alice after hearing what she just said, Cindy walks to the rocks that are blocking us. — " Alice... can you please help me! Tommy! " She asks Alice and then calls me. — " For what? For you to keep pretending that everything is fine? " Alice says. — " Alice, please. " I beg you not to have any fights, we are already too screwed for that. — " Alice, I just.. " Cindy tries to formulate a sentence but nothing then sits on top of one of the rocks. — " Y/n... Opened Arnie's head in half. Can you understand this? " Melancholic Alice tells us what's going on in her head. — " Please, can you, can you help me? " Cindy asks her again, making her angry. — " With what?! That shit weighs a million pounds!! You didn't get an A in physics?! " The blonde fights. — " We need to get out of here!! " Cindy reminds her. — " What a shame, because it can't be done!... We're going to die down here. Cindy Berman. " The blonde spoils the bitter truth she believes, I go to Cindy and offer her my hand to get up, a gesture she accepts. She runs towards Alice. — " No no! We have to get out of here, we do! Those names on the wall... they didn't stop at one death. " Cindy remembers the murders that happened to several people. — " Seven, nine, ten, fifteen people! They are serial killers! The children.. " Cindy stutters while speaking to Alice trying to find a way to change her mind. — " Your sister.. " I remind you — " Everyone is out there. And now she is too... " Her voice cracks briefly as she says. — " I thought you didn't believe in the witch. " The blonde argues. — " Not even! But, but, but, there must be some explanation. Must have-" Alice comes closer, interrupting her. — " Oh my god, you are unbelievable, Cindy! You knew?! She was possessed!! " Alice trying to make the brunette listen. — It could be... it could be that she took some pill. " Cindy tries to argue. — " No! No! Cindy, no! It wasn't the paracetamol! It was the witch. You saw the names, and that ritual! The witch is real, and she is using some spell to possess people. She understood the names on that stone! " I step in, taking Alice's side and arguing against my own girlfriend. — " And Mary knew, okay? She knew and it's all here! " Angrily Alice points out the facts. — " this is not real! " Cindy violently pushes the book away. — " Do you want an explanation? I'll give you one. Okay?" Alice impatiently questions Cindy. — " She went looking for the hand bones to break the fucking curse to save Shadyside, but she didn't find them! Want to know what she found?!My friend's name on that shitty wall. " Cindy tries to interrupt. — " No, it wasn't that! " But Alice continues. — " So she tried to kill her. What I would have done too if I had a chance to kill bitch Y/n, if I was going to take an ax to my boyfriend's head! " An irritated Cindy with no patience pushes Alice. — " Oh shut up!! " Cindy orders leaving everyone silent, until Alice cuts him off. — " Finally. That's the Cindy Berman I know. " Alice says, Cindy turns and starts walking somewhere else. — " Where are you going? " I ask her making her turn towards us. — " I'll look for another way out. Don't come after me, come on Tommy! " Cindy calls me and I follow behind, leaving Alice alone.
Alice screams saying not to come back, Cindy and I ignore the screams, we are looking for something. Cindy is panting. I squeeze her hand, trying to calm her down, which doesn't do much good. — " All good. It is good too. " Cindy whispers to herself trying to calm down until Alice appears behind us, scaring us, I put my hand on my chest in fright, Cindy goes to the blonde and pushes her by the shoulder. — " Damn, are you crazy?! I ordered you not to follow me. " Cindy remembers Alice who just looks at her confused. — " Yeah, I didn't follow. " Alice returns the push. — " You went in circles " Alice counts her and passes her. — " It's a fucking circle. " The blonde remembers what makes Cindy and I remember something, I pick up the book lying on the floor, leafing through its pages looking for one, Cindy lights up the book, I stop at the page with the symbol design and we start counting the entries. — " What are they doing? " Alice comes closer asking. — " The symbol divides four times, three there, one there, like this cave. " I explain it. — " Equals. Sarah Fier cut her cursed hand on Satan's stone, carving the witch's mark into the ground below. Carving into the ground " Cindy explains, pointing out the places so Alice can understand. — " Wait what? The witch who did all this shit? " She questions us. — " Or the colonists said she did it. It doesn't matter. What matters is that this is a-" Alice interrupts me. — " A map. "
— " There's another branch here, so it's to the left. " We started walking towards the entrance. — " I don't believe this shit works. " Alice comments, I look at her but quickly return to my main focus. — " It's taking too long, we should already be at camp. " Cindy says worriedly, I look at her and give her a look of confidence to reassure her, I'm not very confident about this myself but it's the only thing I can have a shred of hope that will work, that will lead us to a way out and we can save her. The conversation I had in the forest keeps playing in my head, maybe you were trying to warn us, maybe you wanted to save us and I didn't know how to understand. You asked me if I would kill you, I would never hurt you. Hurting you hurts me too. I promise that I will save you from this, I will make you free from this curse. — " If they have to kill her. Can you? " Alice takes me out of my thoughts with her question, taking us by surprise, Cindy remains silent thinking so I answer first. — " At that moment in the cafeteria, when the nurse attacked, all I thought about was saving her. So I couldn't do it. " I answer truthfully, Alice looks at Cindy waiting for an answer. — " I don't think so, she was the first person to offer to talk to Ziggy, she listened to me venting about my complaints about her. So I don't think I could do it. " Cindy says, Alice has a small smile and then speaks. — " Well, I would gladly kill Y/n. " She says without any remorse. — " Wow, even after all this you're still an asshole. " Cindy says, talking about her makes me happy, she has no control over anything. — "Okay, sorry. It's just that it's not easy to see a friend killing her boyfriend. " She apologizes and explains a little sadly. — " I never understood how she managed to fit in with us so quickly. " She exposes her doubt, Cindy turns to her and so do I, Cindy starts to speak. — " Look, Y/n, she was sweet. She was always willing to help, to listen, always protecting the people of Shadyside. Protecting my sister. She had no obligation but she did it. It was funny to see her swearing at everything when she got angry. " Cindy says with a weak laugh, memories of her swearing come into my head making me smile weakly. — " Once I left her doing a task alone and I went to offer her herbs to calm her down and she responded with: " Holy shit! I don't want anything to do with this shit.”, it was the first time I heard someone say four swear words in one sentence. " Alice tells us, making all three of us laugh, I remember an event with Ziggy's sister. — " These days she had gone to defend her sister, Cindy, she told one of the girls to get out of her way, then called her a son of a bitch. & Quot; I tell her making her laugh and smile that her sister is being protected.I hear some noises coming from deeper in the cave, I point the flashlight in the direction of the sound. — " Are you listening to this? " He asked, turning to where I'm pointing, Cindy looks at the notebook. — " There's a space right here, in front. All paths lead to him." Cindy tells us how she looks at Alice. — "Is there any way we can turn around? " Alice asks. Getting closer we see several dark spots on the wall and thousands of mosquitoes surrounding them, this sight makes your stomach turn. Alice and Cindy point to goo on the floor. — " Holy shit, what the hell is this? " Alice asks in surprise. — " It's everywhere.. " I say looking around, Alice lights up something and her face panics. — " Cindy.. what the fuck? " The blonde asks, making us both turn towards what she is seeing, faced with completely dirty flesh full of flies circling it, it pulses as if it were alive. — " Let's get out of here. " Cindy asks in fear, Alice gets closer to the flesh, crouching down to be at her level, she touches the flesh and freezes in terror. Cindy pulls her hand and calls her name, Alice lets out a scream.
Alice runs, leaving Cindy and me behind, we look at each other confused and go looking for her. We hear Alice running everywhere and letting out terrified screams when suddenly her scream becomes one of pain, Cindy hurries her steps right in front of me. Within minutes we found her with her injured leg. Cindy comes down and puts her hands on Alice's shoulders. — " Are you well? " Cindy asks worriedly. — " I saw the killers. They killed many, and the rest will be next. The children. " Alice says what she saw in terror, Cindy shakes her head in disagreement before interrupting her. — " No, it's not true. Everything will be fine. " She speaks words of affirmation to comfort. — " The witch did it. She did it all. She cursed Shadyside. Mary was right. " Alice begins to explain, I look at the wound seeing its exposed bone. — " I know. " Cindy says, taking her by surprise. — " The cave was alive, Alice. Paracetamol doesn't do that. " Cindy said she made her change, Alice groans in pain, my girlfriend takes her bag and throws her belongings on the floor. — " You are right. I'm a snitch. The day after we stole Mr. Evans' stereo, Harold Hines saw me with it. " Cindy is opening the pad while my hand is on the bone. — " Damn Harold Hines. " Alice curses but stops when she feels me putting the bone back in place. — " Soon after, I ended up at the director's office, and my father couldn't go because he had run away with a girl not much older than I am today. " Cindy puts the pad on the wound as a bandage. — " And my mother was drinking at O'Connell. " She looks at Alice with a fake smile. — " That's when I understood... that I was no different from the others in Shadyside. I was cursed. And I convinced myself that if I was perfect, if I did everything right, I could escape. " Cindy looks silently at Alice before she speaks again. — " I ratted you out, made new friends, and started dressing like this. " She tears off a piece of her blouse as she says, placing it in the pad. She turns to me and says.— " I started dating you. " Her eyes are full of tears. My world collapses. — " I avoided you, but I couldn't avoid Ziggy. Because she was always there, reminding me of the truth. " Cindy places something on top of the pad before tying it. — " Because she was always there, reminding me of the truth. That this city is cursed, this place... It's cursed. And we too. And now I know. She was right, all this time. " Alice screams after Cindy tightens the bandage.
— " I was a bad sister. I was a terrible friend. I should have skipped class, gone to parties, had sex, had fun " Cindy is interrupted by Alice. — " I hate to tell you this, but the fun... It's as real as you and your shirt. I use Styrofoam for a reason. " Alice started taking off her bracelets which left me confused. — " It's not just because it looks good on me. " She shows god slit wrists leaving us in shock. — " Holy shit... " I let it escape my lips. — " Everyone deals with Shadyside in their own way. " I look at her sadly, Cindy was about to start talking when something catches her attention. She gets up and picks up some moss, red moss, the scene of the moss getting on her shirt flashes through my head. — " This. That moss stained my shirt. The bathroom. " She quickly gets to her feet, pointing the flashlight at the trail of moss on the wall. — " The bathroom is covered in this stuff. The camping. It means we're close. " Cindy states. — " Let's go! " I call them going deeper into the cave, Alice passes me leaving Cindy to stay by my side. She looks at me and I look at her. We have to talk. Cindy looks down thinking about what to say, she opens and closes her mouth before saying. — " I'm sorry I had to hear all that. " She apologizes, I shake my head no. — " It wasn't your fault, it's okay. I understand you. " Cindy interrupts me by shouting. — " No! I'm guilty! " She starts to speak and pauses before saying. — " You deserve better. You deserve her. " She says about someone, I furrowed my eyebrows looking at her questioningly. — " Who she? " She laughs at my question as if I'd just made a joke. — " I'm talking about her, Y/n. I see how you look at her. " Cindy has a smile on her face, she is taken by surprise with her insinuations, I remain silent and let her speak. — " When you know, you know. She already told you that phrase, didn't she? " She asks looking at me. I shake my head in agreement, she gives a weak smile for a few seconds. — " Did she tell you it was the lyrics to a song? "She questions me, leaving me surprised, it was never said that it came from a song. — " No, she never told me. " I speak without looking away from her. — " I once caught her singing. She said it was a song a woman sang in a bar. 'When you know, you know. It kind of makes me laugh. Passing that way. When you're good, you're gold. Because when you know, you know'. That's the lyrics" Cindy sings the part of the song, the song brought back memories of when I saw her for the first time. When I accompanied her to welcome the children. When we first spoke. — " Save her. Save her and stay together. " Cindy asks me, making me look into her eyes when she hears this request. — " I will save her." I speak, Cindy smiles and we continue to walk together just accepting that we are okay.
We arrived at a big place full of moss and with shit, piss, toilet paper, players everywhere. Not one of the best places to be. — " Is that toilet paper? " Alice asks more to himself. — " It's the bathroom. Can be. " Cindy states hopefully. — " Holy crap. " Alice whispers. — " It's him. Look. " Cindy points to the stone that goes up to the entrance to one of the toilets. We started to hear noises coming from above, it sounded like two people fighting, my eyebrows were furrowed in confusion. We come together to scream for help, people are silent. We start to scream louder so they can hear us, the lid opens and a head appears. — " Cindy?! " The girl asks in disbelief. — " Ziggy? Oh my God! " Cindy is surprised to see her sister, I admit that I would also be surprised to see my sister's head in the toilet. — " What are you doing down there?! " She asks us curiously, Cindy stutters before answering. — " It's a long story. Are you well? "The worried question. — " OK, just wait a minute. " The redhead asks before closing the toilet lid. — " Ziggy, are you okay? " Cindy asks her again but receives no answer. The toilet lid is opened again and Ziggy throws a trunk with a rope attached so we can climb up. — " Use this. We're going to pull you. " I look at her confused and ask her. — " Us? " The redhead is quick to respond to me. — " Gary's here too. " Meanwhile Cindy offers Alice to go first and the blonde doesn't refuse, she already sits on the bucket. The rope begins to be pulled making her rise, when Alice was close to leaving we hear Ziggy screaming and the rope is released making Alice fall but something is brought along. When we look we see that it is Gary's headless body, the two scream in fear. Cindy starts screaming her sister's name and I join her. I shut up when I hear Y/n's voice asking her not to go, I put my hand on Cindy's mouth making her shut up, she tries to remove my hand but I gesture with my eyes for her to pay attention to the conversation. — " Ziggy...! " She speaks sadly but seemed to have a hint of happiness, a few seconds of silence is interrupted by her saying. — " Please just kill me. " She begs, my eyes widen in surprise upon hearing. No! I can't let you die! I can't lose you. — " No no! I can't! You-" Ziggy tries to make her listen but is interrupted. — " You can! Just take that damn ax and hit me in the head! There is no escape for me, he wants my soul, my heart." She tries to convince Ziggy. — " You will come out alive, with the one you love and you will be very happy, just say that I was to blame for everything! " I start to despair about this conversation but before I can do something dark Ziggy says.— " No!! " Now Cindy despairs that something might be happening to her sister. She screams tearfully. Ziggy says something I don't understand and then we hear the sound of someone falling. We remained silent waiting for something. — " Ziggy!! " Cindy calls for her sister again, but this time we are answered with the girl putting her head in the toilet, Cindy sighs with relief to see her sister intact. — " What happened?! " I ask her worried about what might have happened. — " She started with this story about being killed, so I put her to sleep! " Ziggy tries to defend himself, Cindy lets out a weak laugh, and I breathe a sigh of relief. — " Can you load it?! " Cindy asks her, Ziggy takes his face off the toilet, probably looking at the unconscious body. — " I think so. " She answers us. Cindy takes the notebook and looks at the map analyzing it and analyzing the cave, she looks up and then questions her sister. — " Can you handle taking it to the cafeteria?! " The question is peacefully answered with an affirmative nod.
After Ziggy left the bathroom and took A/n we started walking towards the exit of the cafeteria. Only Cindy and I came, Alice stated that we would be late but that he would arrive soon. Getting closer and closer the path becomes tight, making us have to start walking on all fours, when we see a crack of light we start to crawl faster, as I'm in front I'm the first to come face to face with the exit blocked with a metal plate. I lie down and start to put strength in my legs, I kick the plate for the first time which makes it go up a lot, the second time I feel the nails starting to come out, the third time the entrance is finally free. When I go up I see Ziggy in the middle of the room, she probably came to check the noise, when I go up Cindy is next, I extend my hand which is accepted, I pull it making it go up faster. — " Where is Alice? " Ziggy asks us, noticing the blonde's absence. — " She will come, she just needs to regain her strength. " Cindy is quick to answer the question. — " Where is she? " I ask her, she makes a gesture asking us to follow her. We found the scene of Y/n with her hands and feet tied, her body is leaning against the wall of the cafeteria. I get close to her, crouching down to her height. I run my hands over her cheek, caressing her, the girl snuggles into my touch which makes me smile. I promise to save you. I stand up looking at the two girls behind me. A noise is heard from the room we left, we all stay alert, I slowly walk towards the sound, take advantage and grab a knife as defense. A hand comes out of the hole and we see Alice coming out of it, a sigh of relief and Cindy runs towards her swearing to climb up.
— " Why did it take so long? " Cindy asks, relieved to see her. — " Did you manage to arrest her? " Alice asks referring to Y/n. Cindy nods before speaking. — " We did it. " Cindy confirms and immediately hugs her, but Alice pushes her away saying. — " Be careful. This thing must be a million years old. " She puts her hand in her bag, Cindy is confused. — " I bought this bag last month. " - Cindy informs. — " I'm not talking about your stupid bag, genius. 'Blood will be spilled'. Demon stone, got it? She was there. " I begin to understand what Alice means.— " It was buried under the moss all this time, and I found it. I found. " Alice states happily about her discovery of hers. — " What did you think? " Cindy asks, still confused. — " Three guesses. " . We sat at the cafeteria table. Alice removes the bones of a hand from the bag, leaving the girls surprised. — " What? What is that? " Ziggy asks looking at the two girls at the table. — " Sarah Fier's severed hand. " Alice responds. Everyone stays silent until I break it. — " Nurse Lane... spent her whole life looking for this. A way to stop the curse that took his daughter. " I comment remembering all of Mary's hunting. — " Without her hand, her power remains firm. The curse will last until the body and hand unite.' this took us to the hand. " Alice explains the curse to the redhead by taking the notebook to her. — " And if the legend is true, the body will be buried-" Ziggy interrupts her. — " In the gallows tree. " She finished completing it. — " We can end this. The end of the murders, the end of the curse, the end.. " Cindy stops and looks at the tied up body. From suffering. " She finishes. — " We can save Shadyside... tonight! " I speak with hope. Ziggy takes his hand closer to him. Blood drips from her nose and falls into her bones, she jumps in fright and freezes for a few seconds until her sister takes her hand and makes her come back. — My nose bled on my hand and I thought I saw her. " Ziggy says scared as she catches her breath. — " Who? " Cindy asks in surprise. — " Sarah Fier. " Everyone at the table looks shocked.
— " She was... She was very angry. " Ziggy warns. — " We have to bury this right now. " Alice commands. Before we could say or act, we were startled with an enraged growl. We all looked at Y/n who was struggling trying to free herself from the ropes as he grew. I get up and go towards him, side in front of him and crouch down, he stops struggling when he notices me. His eyes meet mine. Empty. But there's still something about them. — " Tommy... " She whispers, leaving me surprised, a smile invades my face when she hears me call. — " We will save you, I promise. " I reassure her, she tries to say something but Cindy has already gotten up to get the big shovel and another small one. — " Let's go. " She orders. Alice is confused about not receiving something. — " Will I have to use my hands? " He asks with a bit of irony. — " No, you stay here. " Cindy demands. — " Come on, I can safely jump. " Alice tries to argue as she shows off her limp. Cindy looks still unconvinced, Alice sighs and surrenders. — " Tommy, you too. " She asks me too, I nod my head then see her leave with her sister.
I'm left alone in the cafeteria with Alice watching over Y/n. Alice keeps a distance between me and her but keeps close to Y/n, she has her hands on her knees looking thoughtful. — " Seeing you kill my boyfriend hurt. " The blonde started to speak. — " I hate you for what she did, and I miss you like a child. I loved that junkie. " She says sadly, her words catch the attention of Y/n who remains silent but looks at her with a certain empathy, even though her eyes are full of hate. Alice sighs and gets up, something stops her, she looks at me with a frown. — " Did you hear that? " She asks me leaving me confused. — " What ? " She doesn't answer me, she heads towards the place we entered, her steps are slow and careful. Seconds later we hear as if someone is singing and a female hand appears, I get up and go towards Y/n, helping her get up, I take a razor I found and cut the ropes on her feet. Alice moves away from the place, realizing the situation even more. — " Holy crap. Run!! " She shouts at us, I pull Y/n by the arm making her follow me as we run, Alice is behind us running with difficulty. We stop halfway to check if we are still being followed. I release my hand from Y/n's arms. — " Did you see it too?! It was Ruby Lane!! Ruby! " Alice questions me scared, I catch my breath before answering. I saw it, why are they coming back? " I ask her, confused and startling, she shakes her head not knowing what to answer. — " I don't know... maybe they want to stop the curse from being broken! " She suggests, she looks behind me then her face changes to one of concern. — " Tommy. Where did she go? " She looks at me for an answer, I look back and see that y/n ran away. We lost sight of her!
__________________________★___________________________
I managed to steal the razor that Tommy was carrying in his clothes. Why did he have it? This is the question that hits my head the most. I use my feet to hold the razor while I quickly run the rope through it so it can be cut as quickly as possible. I feel my hands free and remove the ropes, take the knife and hold it firmly in my pocket. I need to find Sarah's body. I need to find Nick Goode. It boosted me and I started running as fast as I could towards the forest and entering it in a few seconds, I looked everywhere looking for the same red moss that was in the bathroom, branches passed over my skin, scratching and hurting me. Leaves are in my clothes and hair. I stop to rest a little, look at the floor and notice the texture becoming different, redder, redder! I start to crawl quickly looking for Sarah's bones, I feel blood start to run from my nose when I grab a chain. A smile appears on my face. I take off my cold sweater and place it on the floor, I take the bones and chains and put everything in my shirt and tie it to make sure it doesn't fall. I get up and run again but this time towards the tree.
I feel the wind passing by my face, the dreams of bats hitting the ground, a woman singing become closer. Tommy. Are you, are you coming? To the tree where they hanged a woman, who they say was a witch. I quicken my steps, feeling my legs start to hurt because of the effort I'm making, all the effort, for a moment the memories of my ancestor flash through my head. I'm sorry I had to go through all this, but I'm not you, I'm going to make everything right. I see Cindy and Ziggy desperately digging the hole in the ground as the killers get closer, Tommy and Alice are close by trying to reach them too, they must think I'm going to attack. Ziggy, upon seeing that he had no body, despairs and shows his sister who only finds a stone saying that the witch lives forever, she pulls Ziggy close and holds his bone hand in hers. I manage to get past all the killers and fall to the ground tired, my legs are wobbly, Cindy puts Ziggy behind her afraid that I will attack, I untie my blouse and place my bones on the ground, leaving them both shocked. — " I found!! Put your hand up! " I order them, Cindy and Ziggy are quick and put their hands close to their bodies, I take advantage of the fact that they are both seeing the truth of the whole curse and I take Cindy's shovel and go towards the milkman and hit him right in the face, which he does. As he fell, Tommy is taking care of Ruby while Alice took the stolen knife and went after the little boy. I see Nick Goode coming in the distance behind Ziggy, I get off the milkman but I didn't expect him to be quick to recover and start to follow me, I quicken my pace enough to get close to Nick. I use the shovel to hit his head, he puts his hand on the spot, hitting him again, only on the leg, which makes him fall, I put myself on top of him, letting my feet keep him stuck on the ground, I feel being hit on my back but I don't let myself give in to the pain and I'm hit again but I stay with Nick underneath me, I put the seal in my arms and hit his neck with the shovel, blood splashes to the sides, his eyes freeze on mine. figure with the milkman stabbing me in the back but little by little he disappears like smoke, just like the others. Blood is coming out of Nick's mouth, I put more force on the shovel, completely cutting his neck from his head, now his eyes are empty and dead. I feel my body start to fail, my body is weak and I'm losing a lot of blood, I fall next to the corpse, I'm looking at the sky seeing the stars shining, but no brighter than the moon. My consciousness slowly fades away. At least I managed to make you live.

Pov'tommy
Ruby's body disappears as if it were dust. The curse. She was broken. I look to the side and Ziggy and Cindy are back but their noses are bloody. I'm looking for Y/n. I find her standing completely bloody and injured in the back, she is on top of Nick with the shovel dividing his head from his body, her body weakens and staggers until she falls to the ground, I start to run towards her. Please do not. Please don't die. We did it! Are you free. I start to crawl and stop on top of her body, she is freezing, I shake her body calling her name but I am not answered, tears are already rolling down my face, I place both hands on her chest trying to give her a heart massage so she can to go back. I need it to work. I opened her mouth and put our lips together forcing air into her lungs, again I put my hands on her chest, I repeat three times second and when I start to feel hopeless I see her eyes slowly opening, she coughs a little blood, I put my hands hands on his face, cleaning it. — " Everything is fine. I am here. We did it. " I reassure her by pulling her into my arms, she wraps her arms around my neck and I can feel her tears.
— " What is your name? Me, look at me. What is your name ? " The doctor tries the question but she is too stunned to answer. — " It's Y/n. Her name is Y/n. " I answer her which makes her look at me. — " Where... where are they? Where they are? " She asks me with difficulty, I look in the direction that Alice, Cindy and Ziggy are, she automatically looks in the same direction, when she sees the doctors examining them a smile appears on her face. I stay next to her stretcher and help the doctors carry her. — " Tommy. We did it. I managed to keep you alive. " She is panting when she speaks, I make noise to make her quiet. — " I know, now you need to be okay. " I remember her injuries, the doctors pull her stretcher and put her in the ambulance, before I could get in to accompany her, a police officer puts his hand on my shoulder and asks me. — " What the hell happened here? " He is incredulous, I think carefully before answering him, I keep my head down. — " someone broke into the camp, he was freaking out. He killed everyone and fled. " I lie to him hiding the truth, hiding the real killer. — " Shadyside's shit. " He whispers so that I can't hear but I can hear him, I walk towards the ambulance, climbing into it and sitting next to Y/n who is being taken care of. The engine starts, the car starts driving towards the hospital. Goodbye Camp Nightwing.

Note: I apologize if there are any spelling or grammar errors, I proof read and do checks but I always tend to miss a few and it's so annoying. Anyways, hope you enjoy this conclusion to my little fear street story!
If Simon had a nickel for every time he got roped like a rodeo bull in a single night by an undead killer and lived to tell it, he’d have two nickels. Which is not a lot, but the fact it happened twice?
Honestly the fact he survived the entire night was a miracle in itself. After the school disaster and becoming bait while Deena killed Sam to save her, Simon wanted nothing more than to go to bed and sleep forever. He narrowly avoided being slashed by Ruby Lane and axed by the Nightwing psycho only to get his legs caught by Y/n’s rope, ass dragged along aisle nine and nearly die from asphyxiation when Sam’s heart finally stopped.
Thank God too because Josh was about to meet his end by the ax and Kate was seconds from getting her head shoved into the bread slicer.
But it seems like luck was not on their side. Because just when they thought they were out of the woodwork, another shitshow got thrown at them.
Simon had been asleep, for twelve hours at least, when he was rudely shaken awake by Kate. “Simon, wake the fuck up!!” she ripped the covers from his body, “We have another problem!!” His eyes were barely opened and voice hoarse, delirious from the deep slumber he wanted nothing more than to return to.
“How can we have another problem!?” He moaned, dragging himself to the closet to put on a random shirt and pants. “And how the fuck did you get in?”
“Your sister,” she replied, throwing him a hoodie. “Kate and Josh are in the car. We’ll explain on the way.” Simon just stared at her agape.
“On the way to where?!”
C. Berman’s house, that’s where. Because their buddy Sam happened to be possessed and now hell bent on killing them. How and why did she come to be possessed? No clue. But they needed to find a way to save her before she went on a murderous rampage.
More shocking news came at the residence of C. Berman. The lone survivor of the Camp Nightwing massacre who saw Sarah Fier and somehow lived to tell. Who they discovered at the end of her recounting the horrific night, that she was in fact Christine ‘Ziggy’ Berman, and her sister Cindy was amongst the victims Tommy Slater slaughtered.
Talk about a plot twist.
So, while Josh and Deena went to retrieve the witch’s lost hand from the hanging tree, which now resided in the Shadyside Mall, and unite it with the remains they unearthed out in the woods, Kate and Simon stayed with Ziggy to guard Sam. To say they were on edge was an understatement. Ziggy obviously hated having a possessed henchman of Sarah Fier in her house and if the two were not careful, the woman may take matters into her own hands.
“Don’t you find it a bit odd?” Simon eyed Ziggy from the living room, speaking low so only Kate heard him.
“Find what odd? I can think of a few things, Simon, you need to be more specific.”
Huffing, he turned to her, “Ryan went on his possessed murder spree on Thursday, right?” He received a nod. “Okay, so look at the math. Camp Nightwing happened sixteen years ago. Then twelve years before that, Ruby killed all her friends. There was again twelve years between Ruby and Harry Rooker, and over twelve between Harry and Y/n.”
Kate narrowed her brows, understanding what he was saying, “There was a time gap between each possession.”
“Exactly. But Sam all of sudden gets possessed days after Ryan,” Simon bit his bottom lip, rubbing his jaw as he tried to piece it together. “Ziggy saw Sarah Fier, was brought back to life after being killed, and nothing happened to her.” His gaze drifted to Ziggy briefly, then turned back to Kate, “Why Sam?”
Their answer would come when Deena returned with a chilling revelation. Having united body and hand once and for all, Deena bled on the bones and was mentally sent back in time to 1666. The year Sarah Feir died and cursed Shadyside.
Only she didn’t curse Shadyside.
No, the truth was darker. Heartbreaking. Sarah Fier did not give her soul to Satan. She was not some crazed witch desperate for power. She did not possess innocent Shadysiders to kill on her behalf.
She was framed. The only person in history to uncover the truth. The only person who knew Solomon Goode, ancestor of Union County Sheriff Nick Goode, made a deal with the Devil for power and his bloodline has kept the bargain for 300 years.
Until now.
“I knew it!” Simon felt like pulling his hair out. “I fucking new something shady was going on! And that pig Goode---we should’ve never trusted him! Didn’t I call it, Kate?!”
“What the hell is he talking about?” Deena turned to her friend, who sighed tiredly and rubbed her fingers against her temples.
“Simon thought it was weird that in the past decades went before another Shadysider got possessed but somehow Sam did days after Ryan.”
Josh snapped his fingers, pointing at Simon as he nodded frantically with the same shocked expression, “Yeah, yeah, you’re right. He must’ve realized Sam had been the one to see the vision and thought if he gave her name up, she’d take us all out.”
“Bastard,” Simon seethed in anger. “Well jokes on him because now we know the truth!”
“Yeah,” Deena swallowed thickly, feeling the fear rise as butterflies swarmed her stomach that she probably could throw up if she tried. “That means they’re coming after me---fuck, we won’t have much time. It won’t stop until he’s dead.” She glanced at Ziggy, who’d fallen to her knees at some point when Deena was explaining what she saw. “We need to kill Nick Goode.”
Ziggy looked like she could cry, “But I called him…I thought….I thought he could help.”
Now Simon really wanted to pull his hair out, “Fuck! We have to go. Now!”
“What do--What do you want us to do?” Kate tripped over the carpet to get her bag.
“I’ll handle Sam--you guys go to the car.” They all separated, Deena heading to the room where Josh guarded Sam while Simon and Kate rushed to the stolen police car. Popping the trunk open so they could put Sam, now unconscious thanks to a deadly head kick by Ziggy, in there while they developed their next move.
On the way to the Mall they picked up Martin Franklin, the custodial worker who had been at the station when they were making their statements that morning. With his knowledge of the mall, they were able to form a plan on how to trap Goode and--hopefully--use the victims of his family’s deal against him. Putting an end to the curse for good.
Satan wanted Deena’s blood, they were gonna give it to him.
Simon was in the middle of tying the ropes to the gates of the bookstore when Ziggy approached, “those knots need to be tighter.”
He flushed red, “Oh, my bad.”
Kneeling down, she gently took the rope from his hands, fixing the knot until it was tight and secure. Her gaze flickered up to him at times, noticing the way he stared at the object. Unsettled. Frightened. Then her eyes landed on the bruises on his neck, frowning as she realized why he could have such a reaction to a rope. Her own stomach pooled with anxiety. “The same thing happened to me, you know.”
Simon blinked, pulling himself from his thoughts, unaware he was staring at the rope. “What?”
“You’re not the only one who’s been roped by the rodeo queen, kid.” His eyes widened with shock, jaw dropping slightly.
“You--you were?”
“Yup,” she popped the ‘p’, gesturing to the tree right smack in the middle of the mall. “Right there too. Granted the scenery was very different in ‘78, but the same location nonetheless.” Ziggy cleared her throat, feeling a full body shiver as she recalled the memory. “When Cindy and I were digging for the body, Y/n wrangled me by the neck. Took me right off my feet and dragged me a good bit before Cindy managed to free me.” A pained smile appeared. “I know how you feel.”
Simon looked at her sympathetically, “You..you didn’t say--.”
“It’s not really something I like to think about. Of all the things that happened that night, it’s one I try to block. Being roped like an animal by an undead rodeo prodigy was not on my bucket list.”
“Yeah,” Simon brought his knees up, leaning his arms on top as she finished up with the rope. “Is it bad to say that I feel sorry for them? The people who were chosen. Y/n…Ruby…Tommy?” Ziggy stiffened at Tommy’s name, but recovered, placing the rope down as she leaned back to rest on her calves.
“No, it’s not bad,” she told him earnestly, offering a small smile. “It just shows you are a compassionate person, Simon. I used to feel sorry for Nurse Lane, for how the town treated her and her daughter.” Her smile dropped, thinking of the older woman who she hadn’t spoken to in years. “She insisted something else was responsible for what happened to Ruby, but no one believed her. And now knowing what we know now,” determination filled her eyes, “I want justice for them. For all of them. Because like Tommy…like Y/n,” she shuddered and Simon did too, “they didn’t have a choice. Their lives were stolen, and we owe to them to free them just as much as we need to free Shadyside. Until we do, they’ll never truly rest.”
By the time the plan was finally put to action, Simon was rethinking his entire life. He’d already witnessed two sheriffs’ killed by the Milkman, the others were arriving, and he was shaking so hard he prayed he wouldn’t blackout and fuck up everything.
Taking his place at the entrance to the hair salon, Simon gripped the rope until his knuckles turned white. He was panting, practically heaving, head snapping back and forth to scan the area for movement. He could see Ziggy and Josh from where he was. Kate was blocked from his vision by the damn tree, as was Martin. And he barely caught sight of Deena rolling across the counter where Sam was tied up.
As the thought came to his mind that maybe there’d be a chance it’d only be the Milkman, the sound of someone whistling, ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow,’ filled his ears, causing his blood to run cold and chest to tighten. “Oh God.” Faint, soft, growing louder with each second and a moment later Y/n appeared from around the corner. Twirling her rope, and hat perched slightly down to cover her face.
Just like at the school she was following the blood trail. Boots clicking along the tile, tassels swaying with each step. Simon gulped, feeling the sweat bead on his forehead. He held his breath as she passed by him, as though he was invisible. Waiting until she got further into the salon, Simon said a prayer and yanked the rope until the gate closed. Trapping Y/n, who now noticed she was being tricked and rushed forward to escape, but Simon was faster. Pulling the rope to the hook where he wrapped it until secure and raced back to the meeting point.
“How many is that?” Deena asked once everyone was back.
“I got one, Martin got the Milkman,” Josh told her.
“I got Skull Mask,” said Kate.
“Rodeo Queen makes four,” Simon held up four fingers.
“Five. We have five,” Ziggy appeared from behind Deena, coming to their little circle and dropping to her knees. “Nightwing.”
Deena’s breath hitched, “No Ruby?”
Josh mentally cursed, “I don’t know. We need to keep an eye on--.”
“Y-Y-Y-Yo!” Martin screeched, effectively cutting the boy off. His eyes were full of fear as he faced them. “Why’d it get so quiet?”
They all leaned over the counter, observing the group of killers who, yeah, were very quiet. Even Y/n’s whistling stopped. All of them standing at the gates like robots. Or video game characters waiting for the player to make the next move.
There was only one explanation for it. Ziggy being the first to realize with a chilling gasp of air, “It’s him.”
Deena gave her a look full of sympathy, “You don’t have to do this.”
“Yes, I do,” Ziggy said with determination. This was more than putting an end to the curse. This was about avenging Cindy. Avenging Alice. And Tommy. And the countless others killed at Camp Nightwing. Her sister died trying to protect her, now she was going to ensure it wasn’t in vain.
They all watched silently as Ziggy pulled herself over the counter, taking her place in front of the hanging tree. Deena inhaled, “Mount up,” then she went over the counter. Followed by the others one at a time. Simon raced to the salon, hiding in the space between the two stores just as the bells rang indicating someone stepped inside the mall.
A second later he saw Nick Goode enter the food court, approaching Ziggy in the middle and he kneeled down to begin undoing the ties on the hook. Readying himself.
He barely heard Ziggy say, “Tag, you’re it,” before she pulled the string next to her, yanking the bucket of Deena’s blood and splashed it over his head. Immediately she bolted away, and Simon took that as the cue to open the gate.
The metal clanked, ascending off the ground to break the barrier between Y/n and the food court. Simon saw her flinch back at the noise but then began to walk forward at a slow pace. Exiting the salon, Simon tried not to trip on his feet as he raced to Kate and Josh but nearly lost his footing when Ziggy’s screams echoed in his ears. He turned to see Nick holding her in a chokehold with his gun pointed at the Milkman.
“Ah!” His hold on Ziggy dropped as Skull Mask thrusted a knife into his back. Ziggy unfortunately didn’t get far before she was caught by the Milkman. “Your blood is on her! It’s on Ziggy!”
“What do we do?!” Simon yelled in a panic, gaze falling on Goode fighting against Skull Mask while Ziggy thrashed in Milkman’s arms. The others were slowly descending on them and needed to act fast. Deena ran forward, grabbing the knife Ziggy dropped and ran the blade across her palm. Instantly Skull Mask and Milkman’s attention drew up, allowing Nick and Ziggy to push them off.
Nick pushed through the doors leading to storage, disappearing from their sight. “Go! Go!” Josh screamed to his sister. “We got him!” Deena dashed off towards Nick, running like her life depending on it--because it kind of did and because the killers were now chasing her. Thankfully before Skull Mask got her Martin knocked him off his feet with a chair. Buying her time as got to the doors, stopping abruptly by pressing her back against the wall.
The rest of the group gathered inside the clothing store. “Oh God, oh God, oh God!!” Josh’s stomach flipped as the Grifter and Y/n moved toward them. “No, no, no!”
“It’s my shirt, it’s covered in her blood!” Ziggy threw the piece of clothing out, then helped Josh and Martin pull the gate down. Creating a barrier between them and the others.
“Go!” Josh screamed to his sister. “We’ll handle them.” She didn’t hesitate, pushing through the doors to resume the chase. The food court fell silent then, with the exception of the heaved breaths they were taking as the adrenaline continued to pump their veins.
“Ok, we need a Plan B,” Martin called out as they lined up beside each other against the gate. “Like now.”
That’s when they noticed Tommy Slater, aka Nightwing, stomping his way toward the exit Deena went through. “No…” Josh countered, “we just need more Plan A.”
Opening the gate, the group raced in different directions toward the water guns they had discarded when the attacks first began. Simon grabbed his then hurried to Y/n who happened to be the closest, spraying her chest with the neon-colored blood mix and causing the white color of her outfit to turn green. The action made her stumble, head tilting down as though to inspect her shirt and Simon saw the way her brows lifted. Confused by what happened.
Not waiting to see what she’d do, Simon ran past and into the store. Kneeling beside Kate who matched his unease.
“I got that creepy perv motherfucker right in the bullseye,” Martin’s gaze locked on the Milkman, his target who was now strutting in their direction. “This is gonna work, right?”
Oh, it worked.
Not a second the Grifter had the Milkman in the air and tossed him down like some ragdoll. Then Nightwing let out a battle cry, swinging his ax into the large man’s leg, causing him to fall to his knees and allow him to drive the ax into his neck. Skull Mask went after Milkman, and Simon watched in both horror and fascination as Y/n wrang her rope around Nightwings' neck and yanked him to his knees. Strangling him as she stood behind until Skull Mask snatched her hair to drive the knife into her back. She let out a cry, fighting his hold until she broke free and then attempted to wrap the rope around his neck. Working him to his knees as she pulled as hard as she could.
“Holy shit,” Simon couldn’t believe it worked. The sight was gruesome, unsettling, but ultimately their best case scenario to buy Deena time.
Unfortunately….they forgot Sam was still there. Who broke free from her binds and was now high tailing it after Deena. “Guys,” Josh was the first to notice, “We lost Sam.”
“That can’t be good,” Simon mumbled under his breath, attention going back to the showdown in the middle of the food court. Y/n had somehow managed to climb on top of the Grifter and was basically severing off the final bit of his head with how hard she was strangling him when she was violently pulled off by Nightwing. The Grifter’s head came loose, and Y/n fell to her back with a loud grunt, which turned into ear piercing screams as the ax drove into her chest until she ultimately stilled.
Simon threw up in his mouth, hand coming up to stop it from spilling as he moved away from the group and proceeded to release the bile on the floor. Despite the harm she caused him and the fact she was technically dead, seeing Y/n get hacked like she was a piece of wood was an image that would be burned into Simon’s mind forever. He’ll likely have nightmares for months. Cause what the actual fuck.
Eventually Tommy was struck down and they all became a pile of black blood and guts in the middle of the floor. But that was only temporary.
“Right now they’re dead, but that’s not gonna last.” Josh said as he pulled open the gate. Already the body parts were migrating back to the killers. It could be minutes before they were up and ready for round two. “We don’t have a lot of time. We have to get ready to fight.”
“Wait!” Ziggy pulled him back when she heard a sound, the five of them glancing to their left to see a shadow approaching.
“What the hell is that?”
Billy Baxter. The child killer who beat his family with a baseball bat, thumping said bat, appeared. Coming up to the gumball machines where he proceeded to bang the bat on the metal, the loud sound echoing. As though he was taunting the group.
And just when they thought his sudden entrance was a surprise, there was singing coming from the opposite direction. “You always hurt the one you love. The one you shouldn’t hurt all.”
Simon’s blood ran cold, “Ruby.”
That made seven. Seven killers, five of which were currently in the process of ‘waking up’. And who the hell knows if Deena already found Nick and hasn’t been attacked yet by Sam. Time was ticking and it didn’t look to be in their favor.
“Ok. Ok, you know what?” Martin rushed to grab a water gun. Pumping it, “At least we still have magic blood.” But when he went to shoot, nothing but air was released. He pumped again but was to no avail. “I’m tapped.”
“Me too,” Ziggy breathed, and Ruby’s singing grew louder. Simon tried his, but he too was out of blood.
“No, no, no! We can find other weapons!” Josh insisted. “We can use the delivery hallway, outflank them. We--.”
“Or…” Martin cut in, “we can wait in out.”
Josh shook his head. “What? No, no!, No, we’re--we’re too close!” Looking at Kate and Simon, he saw their hesitation and frowned. “Too many people have died, and I’m not letting them take my sister too!” He pleaded, his fear growing more and more with Ruby’s singing drawing closer and the body parts connecting to their respective owners. “We have to protect her! Please!”
When neither Martin nor Ziggy made efforts to move, Josh peered at Kate and Simon, who gave him a nod and followed him out. They weren’t sure what to do, but Josh took Tommy’s ax and started toward Ruby.
“Up, up, down, down,” Josh mumbled to himself, flipping the ax as the nerves exploded in every cell. “Left, right,” he got closer, and closer, Kate and Simon a few inches back to assist in the attack. “B, A, start!” The ax came swinging down on Ruby’s back, propelling her into the wall and unleashing a gush of black blood. Josh swung again with a roar, the ax sticking into the drywall and he screamed as pain erupted in his stomach from the slash of Ruby’s switchblade.
“Josh!!!” Kate tackled Ruby as he fell, making the blade fall from her grasp and the two rolled onto the floor. Simon kicked it away, joining the fight as Ruby got on top of Kate and tried to choke her. He took her by the hair, throwing her off followed by a harsh kick to the stomach. But Ruby dodged his next attack and sent Simon to the floor with a punch to his jaw.
The next minute happened so fast. Josh’s arm got broken, Kate’s thigh slashed, and Simon was seconds from being stabbed in the throat when a bullet shot through Ruby’s head. Her body slumping forward as blood splattered across the poor boy’s face. “Not again,” he groaned and winced from the pain in his jaw.
“That’s one,” Ziggy lowered the gun she snagged from one of the dead officers. She and Martin rushed over to the three. Josh whimpered as they helped him up, his shattered arm cradled by his other. A wave of comfort filled his chest though when Kate limped over, placing her hand not applying pressure on her thigh on his shoulder.
“This isn’t good, oh God,” Simon cracked, the Grifter sitting up as his head slowly attached itself. “Fucking hell.” The ginormous man stood to his full height, and Simon feared he was going to shit his pants any moment now. The others were coming too, his gaze falling on Y/n’s twitching body, shivering at the way her body contorted like a performer in the circus until she too stood upright.
From the side Ziggy kept her attention on Billy Baxter. His bat echoing each time he banged it on the tile, the ceramic mask he wore an eerie sight for it made him look like a porcelain doll. Ziggy unloaded the clip, sending one, two, bullets into his head and shoulder before it clicked. “I’m…that’s it!”
Obviously that pissed him off. Because now he was moving with determination, banging the bat a bit rougher.
Nightwing rose, followed by Milkman and Skull Mask. Ruby started twitching. “Oh God!” Y/n began whistling. Billy’s bat kept banging with each step.
Seven Shadyside killers versus five Shadyside survivors.
“Come on!” Martin screamed as they closed in on them.
Simon trembled, eyes flickering between each killer until they fell on Y/n. She was walking fast, rope swinging as she geared up to toss it. And just when she was about to let it loose, she disappeared in an explosion of swarming flies.
As did all of them.
Simon gasped, flooded with relief as he stared at the spot Y/n once stood. Heart pounding that his ribs hurt, but he couldn’t help but smile as he watched the remaining flies disperse until the area was clear.
“She did it,” Josh released the air he’d been holding. Leaning onto Kate who was practically crying. “She fucking did it.”
Martin fell to his knees, Ziggy dropped the empty gun, and Simon hunched over with his hands on his knees. Part of him felt like throwing up again, but his stomach was pretty much empty and he was in no mood to start dry heaving.
“Remind me to tell Deena she can use my employee discount for the rest of her life.”
“I don’t know if this is a good idea, Simon,” Kate frowned as nervous butterflies filled her stomach, clutching the binder containing all the newspaper clippings and stuff they gathered for this very moment. “Are we really sure about this?” She turned to Josh who gave her a shrug, he too was unsure.
“Ziggy said she was going to Nurse Lane to give her closure, we should do the same for Y/n’s family,” Simon told her, holding a plate of freshly baked cookies they made that morning. Which they hoped would make Y/n’s sister give them the time to explain their visit. “I mean, c’mon. If you spent fifty years believing your sister didn’t just suddenly snap despite what everyone else said, wouldn’t you want the person who cracked the truth to tell you? I would.”
Kate sighed, “Yes, I guess you’re right. Still it feels odd--like we’re blindsiding her by coming to her house instead of calling in advance.”
“To be fair,” Josh interjected, “if we called there’d be a high chance she’d never answer. Or hang up before we got the chance to explain.”
“Exactly, Rain Man,” Simon clapped him on the back with a smile. They walked up the driveway to the porch, opening the screen door of the enclosure and huddled inside while Simon rang the doorbell. When no one answered, he knocked a few times and waited, then rang the bell again.
Finally the door swung open revealing an older woman, walking cane in hand and squinting at the trio with raised suspicion, “Can I help you?”
“Hello!” Simon greeted with a small smile, “Forgive us for the unexpected visit, are you Ms. Donna L/n?”
The woman nodded slowly, “L/n is my maiden name, yes.”
Josh spoke from behind Simon, “Your sister was Y/n L/n, right?” Now Donna appeared sullen, frowning as her lips curled down.
“I’m sorry, whatever this is I can’t--.” Simon jeered forward when she started closing the door.
“We have proof your sister didn’t go crazy!” Donna’s eyes widened. “Well, that she didn’t just snap--it was something--someone--else who made her.” At her hesitant reaction, Simon relaxed his shoulders and pleaded to her, “Please. A couple weeks ago we went through hell--it’s a miracle we’re even standing here right now. The same thing that happened to you at the rodeo fifty years ago,” he saw Donna’s eyes glisten, face visible with pain, “happened to us. And we know why--please just give us ten minutes of your time and we will explain everything.”
Donna was silent, tension building as they waited for an answer. Instead of giving one, the frail woman simply stepped to the side, opening the door further to allow the teens in. Simon thanked her, as did Josh and Kate, entering the home before following Donna to the living area. She left them alone for a few minutes, returning with a tray of milk and hot tea.
Simon placed the cookies beside them, “Thank you,” he said while taking a glass of milk, Kate accepting a teacup. Glancing around, Simon took in the living space of the home. He wondered if this was the house Y/n grew up in and Donna took over after their parents died. Judging by the glass bookshelf containing trophies, ribbons, and plaques of the girl's accomplishments, it looked like it hadn’t been touched in decades. Simon shuddered upon seeing the sepia portrait of Y/n in the same white outfit hanging over the bookshelf.
Donna sat on the leather recliner opposite the couch the teens sat on. “You said you have proof. That my sister…” she swallowed, frail hand coming up to adjust her glasses, “Why does it feel like whatever you’re about to tell me has something to do with the recent misfortunes of Sheriff Goode?”
Simon didn’t sugar coat it. “Because they do.” He motioned to Kate, who placed her teacup on the table and extended the binder in her lap to Donna. The woman took it, brows pinching as she opened it and began flipping through the pages. They teens had taped the newspaper clippings of all the Shadyside killers next to articles about the Goode family. Ryan Torres beside Nick becoming Sheriff and Will elected Mayor. Then their father became chief of police next to the article of Ruby Lane.
“What….” Donna mumbled, face paling when she reached the clipping of her sister. Y/n’s face staring back at her. The beautiful girl and loving sister Donna remembered, not the horrifying, crazed, jealous rodeo queen determined to keep her title the media painted her to be. Donna’s face tightened, scowling at the article next to Y/n’s in which it detailed Joseph Goode’s sister, the daughter of Michael Goode, winning the rodeo and $10,000 scholarship to Ohio State University.
What Y/n should have won.
The pieces started falling together for Donna as the teens revealed the deal Solomon Goode made with the Devil in 1666. His framing of Sarah Fier for witchcraft, and the centuries worth of sacrifices the Goode’s have made in exchange for power, wealth, and legacy. That Y/n had been selected by Michael Goode as a sacrifice in 1941 and her killing her friends and competition at the rodeo was not actually her. But Satan possessing her body. What broke Donna’s heart further was learning Y/n was resurrected in 1978 and two weeks prior to hunt down Christine Bergman, Samantha Fraser, and Deena Johnson for bleeding on Sarah Fier’s bones. Even in death, her sister was a slave to Satan.
“So,” Donna sniffed, wiping away the fallen tears, “Michael Goode sold my sister’s soul to the Devil, so his daughter could take her title and the money that would’ve allowed Y/n to follow her dreams. You know, I always thought there was something going on in that family. They were too…righteous,” she waved a finger. “And what concerned me was how Goode's daughter never showed interest in the rodeo prior to ‘41. She used to tease Y/n and was envious of the attention my sister got. It wasn’t until Ohio State offered the scholarship that suddenly Sunnyvale’s princess wanted to be a cowgirl.”
Simon, Josh, and Kate looked on with sadness. Blinking away tears threatening to fall. Well Kate did have some drop, her cheer uniform slightly wet from wiping them away.
She stopped crying, but her eyes remained glossy, a sad smile on her lips as she trailed a finger over her Y/n’s picture. “She was so talented--so extraordinary. People all over Union went to the rodeo to see her rope. It’d take her seconds to catch the calf when they dropped the gates. She was the best.”
Simon fiddled with the rings on his fingers, sadness consuming him as he observed the elderly woman, still haunted by the actions of her sister. He attempted to shed some light on the situation, “I wish I could say I didn’t know,” his face flushed, “but yeah, I definitely understand how she got all those titles.”
Kate nudged him with her elbow, scolding, “Simon.”
Donna simply chuckled, waving a hand, “It’s alright. I’m sorry you had to experience that--I cannot imagine what you and your friends went through and I’m happy you all are okay.” Donna closed the binder, handing it back to Kate, “However, it does bring me some solace that Y/n is now free from that bastard. I just wish our parents were here to know the truth.” A distant look appeared on Donna, “They suffered the most after that night. Momma was never the same, and Daddy had to quit his job--couldn’t bring himself to face the town.”
They ended up staying at Donna’s later than expected, listening to the woman recall memories of her sister growing up. What the County Rodeo was like before they got rid of it, the depths of Y/n’s talent and potential had she not died. Her plans of going to Ohio State to study agriculture and hoped to one day own a ranch. She wanted to help her family, provide for them, get her parents out of debt and ensure Donna had a stable future.
They learned Y/n loved bees and her favorite flower was marigolds. She loved Bing Crosby and saw The Wizard of Oz in cinemas several times when it first released. Y/n enjoyed school, was popular amongst her peers and besides the rodeo she volunteered at the local animal hospital.
By the end of the visit, the teens felt like they knew Y/n the way she should’ve been known. As a bright, young girl with dreams of getting out of Shadyside. Just like they all dreamed of.
Donna thanked them all with a hug goodbye, expressing her gratitude for their bravery and by giving her closure, “I cannot thank you enough for what you did.” Tears threatened to fall but she held them back, clasping Simon's hands in hers to give him a slip of paper with her landline number on it. “I am forever in your debt--whenever you all need something and I can help, please don’t hesitate to call.”
An unlikely friendship formed between the teens and Donna. Not long after they found themselves coming over for Sunday dinner every once in a while or dropping by on holidays to keep her company. They brought flowers on her birthday and watched The Wizard of Oz with her on Y/n’s. Simon used his employee discount on her whenever she came into the store. Donna bought them gifts when they graduated.
And every couple of months Simon and Kate took it upon themselves to clean Y/n’s grave now that Donna was unable to. Cutting away overgrown branches and scrubbing away paint whenever some punk ass kid decided to vandalize it.
‘Here lies Y/n M/n L/n
1924-1941
Sister, Daughter, Rodeo Queen
Now in a place somewhere over the rainbow.’
The last sentence was recently added by a collective effort of the group pitching in money to help Donna.
“This shit pisses me off man,” Simon grumbled as he brushed aggressively across the stone where the red spray paint read, ‘Rope in Hell, demon,’ in large writing over Y/n’s name. “I mean have some respect--didn’t they see the news?!” He was referencing the latest news story in which the truth of the Goode family and Sarah Fier was released to the public on an online forum.
Everyone say, ‘thank you, Josh.”
Kate looked at him sadly, “Not everyone is quick to believe that, Simon. We weren’t exactly on board with it in the beginning, remember?” She turned to drop the branches and moss into a bucket. “It’s going to take time. Sunnyvale worshiped the Goode’s--literally. But thankfully here it seems like people are slowly coming around.”
And they were. Slowly but surely the residents of Shadyside had a new outlook on their town and the darkness that once loomed over. Their reputation as Killer Capitol U.S.A now with reason. The horrors of their peers were not brought on by a sudden snap, their souls were traded at the cost of others.
Ruby Lane. Tommy Slater. Ryan Torres. Y/n L/n.
Kids turned to killers, but the people who knew and loved them always believed it wasn’t a snap in judgement. And now there was proof. Their names and reputation cleared.
Simon sighed, wiping the sweat from his forehead and dipping the brush back into the cleaner. “It’s unfair.” He scrubbed until all the paint was gone, then proceeded to polish the stone while Kate planted more daisies since the last ones they left were stolen.
“I know. But what more can we do?” She smoothed the soil. The two continued to work in silence. Stopping periodically for water breaks and to have a quick snack. Simon went as far as to take a toothbrush and clean out the engraved lettering.
When they were finally done, the two removed their gloves and placed them in the bag containing all their tools. “We did good,” Simon patted Kate on the back. “Did Ziggy say she was going to do Ruby’s after she cleaned Tommy’s?”
“Yeah she did,” Kate pulled her backpack on her shoulders, “I checked before we got started. They’re both clean with fresh flowers--and Ryan’s parents already cleaned his the other day.”
“Nice,” Simon chewed on a granola bar, crumbs coating his lips. “Our work here is done,” he hauled his own backup up, “until next time.” Gazing one last time at the headstone, Simon felt a smile curl on his lips, “Hey, look,” he pointed to the daisies, “A bee.”
A lone bee landed on one of the daisies, then traveled to the headstone where it settled on the spot right above Y/n’s name.
Kate’s brows lifted, face shifting to that of awestruck, “Didn’t Donna say Y/n had a liking for bees?” She thought back to their first visit. “That she had a stuffed bumblebee as a kid and once said she’d want to be reincarnated as one?”
Simon understood what she was implying, his heart skipping as a sudden warmth filled his chest. Watching the bee in pure wonder as it remained in its spot on Y/n’s grave, almost like it was giving them a sign. “Yeah…she did.”

Guess who has two thumbs and only barely got out of bed in time to do this?
"Previously on Quantum Leap: Remember that relationship bullshit?"
And Ben winds up in Yellow Filter Egypt.
And Ben does the smart thing and immediately finds a wallet.
"You see that pyramid? That's how you know we filmed on location."
How much do you want to bet they didn't cut anything, and Raymond Lee actually did walk until the sun started going down?
"1961. You want an actual date. Fuck you."
There's a different world where that man slightly raising his newspaper was supposed to mean he wanted Ben to fuck off.
"When are we meeting?" "1PM" ...yeah, you're kinda late, there...
Ben, you've technically been a spy at least three times by now (fourth if you count undercover cops).
And cut to the life Ben should be living, just to tighten the screws.
And of course Tommy's about to propose. How much do you wanna bet that's getting flushed too?
Ian, you know damn well what she means by "a ring", don't be coy.
"You've never leapt out of the country before. It took Sam four seasons to get to Egypt."
Addison, not for nothing, but leaping is technically the same as espionage, given how you described it.
Yes, keep loudly talking to ghosts in the middle of the trailing mission, that never ends poorly.
["That's right, you sit there for a minute, and you think about how you fucked up, son."]
You got bluffed by a Zippo, Ben, you are bad at this.
Yeah, I'm willing to bet we ain't leaving Egypt this leap, ma'am...
"The traitor from your embassy." ...not to get conspiracy theory-y, but given how Ben's waitress friend returns this episode...
"Nomad's a myth." Confirmed. [Inside joke.]
I swear to God, I keep thinking this guy is played by Christian Slater, even though he isn't.
Sir, that was a shitty-ass fake sneeze, you better hope no one actually noticed that.
"Ben, you're gonna get fucking killed if you fuck up today. Pep talk over."
Annnnnnnd der she is! Not having aged a day since 1947!
[Seriously, I'm still on the "Hannah is a secret leaper" camp, this is the third episode where she got involved on a leap where Ben was some form of government agent doing some form of government agent shit, there's a connection here...]
[If there's nazis in Egypt this time, I swear to God...]
"I waited a long time to see you." ...it's been six years, though. Last time, it took you 8.
"How do you feel?" "Alive. Waiting for renewal."
Ben, I'm willing to bet Hannah is the reason you're here, and not to get conspiracy theory-y, I think we both know what I mean by that...
"...Hannah, my hologram-ex just indirectly gave us the okay to pretend to be married this leap, you in?"
"Darling, are you enjoying our honeymoon, which we are both on?" "Yes, we are definitely married and on our Egypt honeymoon, this is natural conversation."
Well, Ben, maybe you can slip in the backdoor and undo your fuckup...
Ben continues to suck at Metal Gear Solid, so in comes Suddenly Southern Hannah.
I am actually fucking impressed that this gong show worked.
"Okay, kid, you scored." That terminology existed in 1961?
Hannah, there's 34 minutes left, unless this is a multi-leap episode, you ain't done.
"I told you to photograph the meeting. You sent in a Southern woman, and slipped me a recorder. How did you fuck this up?"
...well, ma'am, to be fair, Ben kinda sucks at this spy shit...
I love how Addison left after Hannah's sales pitch.
Oh, that's because Addison's heart broke, I don't wanna laugh, but dear God, this makes me want to so bad...
Imagine if they decided to hard cut from Ben and Hannah kissing to Addison sobbing in the break room, dear God, this plot twist is so damn funny, I'm trying to not be like this, but dear God...
"No, Ben, you are the nomad." And then, Ben was a zombie- wait.
And cut to Addison getting drunk in Magic's office.
"Be true to your present, Addison." It will be doubly funny if it turns out my theory about them undoing the time skip is still in the cards...
...why does this double-break up feel like Addison telling Ben she quits?
"Like I said, she's a pro." "She's gonna make it." Annnnnnnd three... ...two... ...one...
Ben, time to make like a tree, and get the fuck out of here.
"Look, while you were off having a romantic subplot with that Hannah lady, I had to do my goddamn job, even if that meant blowing Layla's cover!"
Oh, don't fucking tell me we're having Layla be killed offscreen, that's dirty fucking pool, episode...
"Annnd... Fade to black. Whelp, that was a sad way to end it, but hey, maybe people won't mind-" "Frank, there's still 20 minutes left in the episode." "But, I- we- where the fuck do we go after killing Layla?!"
"Maybe this is why we kept crossing paths; sooner or later, I was gonna fuck up big time..."
[And it is around this point I am reminded of them discussing the grandfather paradox during the trailer for this entire {chunk of the} season...]
Addison, don't act like the solution isn't having someone leap into Layla to fix this...
...
...I swear to God...
...
...okay, I am actually annoyed, you don't make us think Layla died offscreen, only to pull the "Just foolin'" card, THAT is dirty fucking pool
Oh, hey, they remembered Ben got a phone number at the start...
And so we have a chase scene in a mosque. But at least the bad guys know to take their shoes off.
And so Ben knocks out that Bill Burr looking motherfucker.
...Ben, you are so close to doing the full Kyle Reese, just say the line properly...
Plot twist, Layla was secretly Hannah, was a shock!
Yeah, get fucked Bill Burr, say bye bye to your car!
"Look, we're sorry about lying about Layla getting killed offscreen, how about we have her drive off into the sunset instead, we good?"
Hannah, call me totally nutty, but I think you'll see Ben again this season.
"I spent more than two dozen leaps looking backwards. From now on, I look forwards" Translation: #RenewThisShowForSeason3.
"So, Ben almost fucked up the leap, but turns out he didn't, that's wanna see me propose?"
...goddamn, this is a plot-twist heavy episode.
["Whelp, we ran out of pre-strike episodes! See ya next year!"]
And to think, I almost missed this one.

Everyone But You
Thomas “Tommy” Slater x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 2122 words
Warnings: none
Summary: I hate everyone but you! Featuring my hatred for shirts with tight sleeves.
—————————————————————————————————
You hated camp.
Growing up, your parents had forced you to go every year, suggesting that it was going to be good for your development but you knew now that was bullshit.
Nothing about making macaroni necklaces and getting your asses kicked in the color war was going to teach you anything. Except for, of course, how much you hated doing both those things.
Not that you got to stop going just because you got too old.
That would have been too easy.
“I can’t believe you’re making me do this again” you scoffed, rolling your eyes as you rubbed sunscreen into all your exposed skin.
The only thing that could possibly make this whole thing worse would be roasting in the sun, on top of everything else.
Though, it would be a lie to say that the thought of giving yourself third degree burns in order to go home hadn’t crossed your mind.
You hated it out here.
It didn’t make any sense to you that people would intentionally come out into the woods, let alone that they would actually pay to do so.
It was stupid.
“It’s fun” Tommy responded, unphased as he dabbed a bit of the leftover sunscreen on your nose before closing the cap with a snap.
This whole thing had been his idea.
Unlike you, Thomas had always liked going to Camp Nightwing and when the opportunity arose to become a counselor, he jumped at the chance. Of course, that meant that you were going to be tagging along.
Tommy insisted that you didn’t have to, but you both knew it wasn’t a question.
There was no way in hell you were going to spend an entire summer away from him, not when he was the only thing actively keeping you from going out of your mind.
So, you packed up all your essentials and dragged your ass out into the middle of the woods,so that you could spend all your free time sleeping in a cabin that smelled like dirty socks and prepubescent urges.
It was still better than spending it in your bedroom alone, or so Tommy kept trying to remind you.
At the end of the day, you were the one who agreed to come look over all these kids with him, after all.
You couldn't really blame anyone but yourself.
“In what universe is this fun?” you grumbled, flinging the blondes t-shirt at him before slipping your own over your head, finding the yellow fabric far too inviting to actually go with any of the other clothes you bought.
Not that it mattered.
The only person you cared about was standing in front of you, laughing as you tugged on the sleeves, trying to loosen them around the skin of your upper arms.
Clearly, they were going to have to go.
“In the same universe where you’re about to pull those off with your bare hands” he countered, tossing his shirt to the side for a moment before closing the distance between the two of you completely.
If you kept at it, you were going to ruin it.
You sighed, dropping your arms at your sides for a second, looking at Tommy in defeat. He knew how much you hated this.
The Sunnyvalers always made comments, somehow managing to tear down all the confidence you’d built up over the rest of the year in a matter of minutes and on top of everything, you had to wear this stupid thing.
It just felt like it was one thing after another.
“You gonna be alright?” the blonde questioned, a teasing tone betraying the seriousness of his question as he watched you pout.
He knew that you were still just mad about having to leave the confines of your cabin, because you’d have to go to the cafeteria, but it was funny to watch you try to find alternatives as excuses for your poor attitude.
“I hate you”
The words left your lips with a vigor but even you couldn’t help the small upturn of your lip as you met his eyes.
It was a lie.
If there was anyone in the world you couldn’t hate, it was Thomas Slater and you both knew it. He had always been the one person who could get a smile from you, even when you had decided on a frown.
That was just what it was, and for the most part, you’d accepted that.
It was the rest of the current residents of Camp Nightwing that were the problem now. Well, them, and this stupid shirt.
“Really? Cause I could have sworn you just told me you loved me yesterday” he countered, taking one of your hands in his own and pressing a soft kiss to your closed fist before dropping it back down.
Again, you only rolled your eyes.
He was always so sure of himself, and if you didn’t love him so much, it probably would have been annoying.
“Unless that was someone else. In which case, this is really awkward” he kept going, leaning around your frame just enough to get a good look at the fabric that had been bothering you so much.
They never quite considered your body shape when making things like this, and it had always been a problem.
Even when the two of you were campers here yourselves, you always had to stretch out the cotton as far as it would go just to wear it comfortably. It wasn’t until recently you’d decided to tear them off completely.
Sleeves couldn’t be mandatory, after all.
“You’re hilarious Tommy” you countered, your voice dripping with sarcasm as you stood, having already decided to occupy yourself drawing circles on the bare skin of his chest with your finger.
Whatever he was doing, you figured it would help.
His skin was more tanned now than it was in the fall, soft and warm beneath your touch. Though, once the male in question took notice of your poking and prodding, he flexed dramatically.
Never too far away from catching you off guard.
“You know, I almost took these off before I gave it to you” Tommy laughed, picking at one of the threads just enough to loosen it before tearing the entire right sleeve away from the rest of the garment.
At least one of your arms was free.
When they first gave him the Color war shirts, he figured the sleeves would be a problem for you but he didn’t want to totally destroy it before you could have a chance to check.
After all, if he did that, you’d just have to wear your bathing suit all day and as much as he would have loved to see it, he’d never hear the end of it either.
“Thanks” you hummed, after your boyfriend had sufficiently freed both of your arms from the cotton prison of that stupid yellow fabric.
Though, you weren’t entirely sure that you were ready to go out there yet.
While you were a million times more comfortable with those tight ass sleeves gone, you weren’t sure that you were ready to face anyone else, much less those uptight pricks from Sunnyvale.
They already laughed at you as you passed, and left those mocking, cruel notes tacked to the outside of your cabin door.
The last thing you wanted to do was give them more fuel.
“Here, you do mine too.”
You hummed, turning your attention to Tommy at the sound of his voice, shocking yourself when you found him standing in front of you once again.
It didn’t make sense.
Still, you decided to ignore your lapse in attention when you saw the look in his face, clearly waiting for something from you.
You just weren’t sure what it was.
“No one will have time to look at you if they’re staring at the gun show” he explained, shooting you a wink as you admired what was left to your eyes of his skin as he pulled his own shirt over his head.
You thought he was kidding, of course, but you shouldn't have been surprised that Tommy knew what you were thinking before you even had to say anything. He had always had a talent for things like that.
Especially with you.
…and as goofy as his suggestion was, it wasn’t all together a bad one.
At least if you weren’t the only one who had elected to go sleeveless this year, it wouldn’t make you seem so out of place.
Besides, you weren’t the only one who hated having your arms all stifled and hidden away. He usually ripped his sleeves off too, around this time of year.
“Very funny” you allowed, not even able to keep the smile off your face as you did as he asked, letting the fabric fall to the floor without much care.
Given everything, the sleeve was the least of your problems.
After all, now that your arms were situated, you had to actually go out and engage with the rest of the camp, which in all honesty was the part you were trying to avoid the most.
“I am, aren’t I?” Tommy teased back, his hands finding their way to your hips and pulling you in, that grin on his lips again as he stared down at you.
He could be so smug.
“Nope, I lied” you tried, chewing gingerly on the inside of your lip to occupy your thoughts, the blonde’s warm breath fanning your face as he chuckled. He knew it was coming, but your venomous sarcasm never ceased to amuse him anyway.
“I’m sure you did” he grinned back, finally closing the distance between the two of you and bringing his lips down on your own.
Funny or not, you loved him and there was no getting around that.
You indulged the kiss for a while, allowing yourself to melt against the male you cared so greatly for, before you eventually came to your senses and pulled away from him, your brow furrowed.
“No fair” you grumbled, finally connecting the dots. He really thought he could get you out there with some flirting? That was playing dirty in a way that Tommy usually wouldn’t have to resort to.
Maybe he wasn’t as good at wrangling you as he thought he was.
“What?” Tommy tutted, fully aware that he’d been caught in the act, his hands up in mock defense.
Kissing his girlfriend wasn’t against the law, last time he checked.
“That’s cheating” you countered, hoisting yourself up against the nearest picnic table until you could rest your butt on the top. It was bad enough that he’d brought you out here with him, now he was bribing you with love.
It was low, even for him.
“I apologize, what was I thinking?” Tommy laughed, feigning offense as he neared you once again, taking your hands in his own and fiddling with the digits at the end of your hands now, taking his turn.
You sighed, finding it impossible to be annoyed with him even in your tantrum. If he had been anyone else, it would have been easy but for some reason, Tommy had always been different.
You liked him, even when you didn’t like anyone else.
“I don’t want to do this. Can’t we just stay here instead?” you hummed, offering him a question of your own and doing your best to give your boyfriend your most convincing puppy dog eyes, hoping that by some miracle, he may actually agree with you.
You didn’t want to do this.
You really didn’t want to do this.
Still, you knew that even if Tommy agreed to what you were proposing, it would only be a matter of time before Gary or Kurt came to fetch you to do your job. The color war was like the gospel to these people.
…and they wouldn’t miss it for the world.
“How about this? You help me with this, and I’ll sneak over to your cabin tonight” he offered, sure that if anything was going to get you to agree, it was that.
You hated having to sleep in your dusty cabin at night without him and even though it was technically against the rules, the idea of being able to spend the night cuddled up with the blonde was too good to pass up.
Even if the price was a bit too high for your liking.
“Fine, but I’m not happy about it” you allowed, taking his hand when he offered it and getting down from the table, only really moving after Tommy’s hand made contact with your ass in a playful slap.
“I know, I know” came his reply, like always, as he followed close behind you.

Lowkey Wanna Date Me When You Fuck Me - Tommy Slater
Don't mind me, just trying to exhaust myself so I can get over this dude quicker
4.1k words🤙🏻
NSFW WARNING - MINORS DNI
~~~~~~~~~~
Your eyes rolled to the back of your head, Tommy's rough thrusts paired with his thumb circling your clit had you coming with a loud moan, then the oversensitivity of feeling Tommy release inside of you made you let out a high pitched whine.
"Oh god, fuck-!" You couldn't help but giggle, hearing Tommy curse was such a rare occurrence. You didn't know if it was to keep up his golden boy status or what, but he almost always cursed when he orgasmed.
Tommy collapsed beside you on your bed with a huff, quickly sporting a goofy grin. You crawled out of bed as soon as he moved to put his arm around you, causing his grin to fall. You entered your bathroom, and called out to him before shutting the door. "See ya tomorrow, dude!"
Tommy sighed heavily, rolling out of bed and dressing himself. "See ya...dude..."
You and Tommy had been close friends ever since you were kids, only living a few blocks away from each other was part of that, but you also got along and went to the same school. You had the same friend group and would hang out with them almost every day. When Tommy started to date Cindy Berman, you felt like your world was ending. Not only because someone else was stealing away your friend, but you also had a massive crush on him.
When your parents eventually divorced, you lost all desire to be in a relationship. You already tried "dating" around to get rid of those feelings of heartbreak from Tommy and none of those ended well, but the divorce just finalized your decision to just never allow yourself to like someone as more than a friend.
Then Tommy and Cindy broke up. Once Cindy confessed that she was in love with her friend Alice, all he wanted was for her to be happy. But he couldn't help but feel sadden whenever he saw them holding hands or stealing kisses in the halls of their school, because he really did like Cindy, but he was genuinely happy that she was with the person she truly wanted to be with.
Not having Cindy around that much anymore, he started to reconnect with you after years of just stealing glances at each other from across classrooms and hallways, and he realized that he had missed you a lot. He could tell you changed a lot, but you thought he was the same old sweet virgin Tommy, which for the most part, he was. But, one thing, he wasn't a virgin anymore. And after having sex the first time, he knew it wasn't something that he could live without, but he had no one to help satisfy his needs. But coincidentally, you felt the same way.
It was inevitable, but you and Tommy had started a friends with benefits type agreement. You scratch his back and he scratched yours, it was a win win and you were able to stay friends comfortably.
You knew it was probably a mistake, but Tommy was a naturally cuddly guy and he would always want to cuddle after sex, which you indulged. But you kept telling yourself that it was just friendly cuddles, and that it didn't mean anything. All friends cuddle, right?
Being the close friends that you were, you two hung out a lot, even when you two weren't having sex. Your hangouts usually consisted of watching cheesy horror films on VHS while eating gratuitous amounts of buttered popcorn, or simply cruising around town while listening to music. It was nice...too nice.
There was one night where Tommy stayed over and watched a film with you, but you spent most of the time making out with him and completely disregarding the movie. But it never escalated into sex like it normally did, you two just fell asleep on your bed in each others arms. Waking up the next morning to see his adorable sleeping face beside you, it made you feel safe, a feeling that you hadn't felt in so long that it was almost foreign. But then you realized what that feeling meant, and it scared you.
After that, you made it a point to never cuddle after you had sex with Tommy, thinking that it would help dull those feelings down. But to your dismay, it didn't work. You started to avoid Tommy altogether, except for the times you had sex, just so you could try and fight the feelings of butterflies in your stomach every time you saw his stupid face. You would not allow yourself to actually fall for someone, you couldn't.
And you could tell that Tommy knew something was up. The little huffs of annoyance when you wouldn't allow him to touch you before or after fucking, the constant avoidance and excuses you'd come up with just to avoid him during the day. He started to think he did something wrong, which he kind of did in your mind. But you didn't think to address it until you had lunch off campus with your friend Joan.
"So..." Joan drawled out, taking a hit of her doobie before continuing, "How's your relationship with Tommy going?"
You furrowed your brows, letting out a scoff. "Tommy and I aren't in a relationship."
Joan had a look of pure confusion on her face. "But like, you two act like a couple."
"We just fuck, Joan. Nothing else." You spat, starting to get annoyed, which was odd because Joan never made you mad, like ever.
"Huh..."
"What?"
"It's just, Tommy seems so head over heels whenever he talks about you, like he's totally bewitched."
"He talks about me?"
"Oh yeah, all the time. He basically talks all our ears off about how amazing you are and shit, I can practically the stars in his eyes whenever he does, it's kinda cute, actually."
You could almost feel the panic attack bubbling in your chest. No, this wasn't how this was supposed to go. This was just supposed to be like a business arrangement, that's how you treated it, that's how he was supposed to treat it. You were supposed to be able to just stay friends, not allowing yourself to get attached.
You were pissed off, almost felt betrayed in a way. Why, how could Tommy do this to you? He knew how you felt about relationships, you even confided in him about how your parents' divorce made you feel. He should've known better than anyone that a relationship was not what you wanted. You didn't want a relationship, right?
As much as you knew that you needed to confront the situation, it was one of those things that you hoped would just resolve itself on its own. It was spring break, and you pretty much spent most of the time locked away in your bedroom. Every day, you would hear the landline ring and you'd pull your pillow over your ears and tried to ignore the annoying ring. You never picked it up, because you knew it would be Tommy. The one time your mother was home, she answered the phone and you had to pretend to be asleep.
Once the ringing stopped over time, you felt really bad about the whole thing. It's like he finally gave up, and that should've made you happy, but it didn't. You missed Tommy, as much as you hated to admit it. He wasn't just your fuck buddy, he was your best friend. In hindsight, it probably wasn't the best choice to start a friends with benefits relationship with someone you used to have a crush on, no matter how long ago it was.
You were just laying in bed one day, until you were spooked by hearing the front door of your home being knocked on loudly. You huffed, you really didn't want to deal with anyone right now. But the knocking started again, and they wouldn't stop. Jesus, this person's persistent.
You grumpily got out of bed, stomping your way downstairs and opening the door, ready to yell at whoever was disturbing you from your self loathing. You instantly regretted it when you saw that it was Tommy, wearing an expression that you rarely ever saw him wear: anger.
"Where have you been, Y/n? I've been worried sick!" Tommy fumed, entering your home without asking.
"I've been here..." You replied, uncomfortably rubbing your arms. You had never really seen Tommy actually angry before, and it didn't feel good to have it directed at you.
"I've been trying to call you, and you never pick up. I even went to Joan and asked her what was going on, but she wouldn't tell me anything. Did I do something wrong or something? Why have you been avoiding me?"
"I...haven't been avoiding you."
"You're lying." He let out a bitter laugh, his eyebrows furrowed and eyes pleading for an actual answer. You blinked in surprised, you didn't think he'd be so bold to call you out. "You've been avoiding me for awhile now. I just...I just want to know what's wrong. We used to be able to tell each other anything, remember?"
You bit your lip, starting to feel your hands shake nervously. "It's complicated, Tommy."
"Is it? Is it really?" He sighed. "Please, was it something I did?"
"Yes." You answered bluntly, leaving Tommy speechless for a moment.
"Did I...did I hurt you?"
You rolled your eyes. "No, Tommy, you didn't hurt me. Quite the opposite actually." He furrowed his brows in confusion. "Joan told me about what you've been saying, about me."
"What? I've only ever said nice things about you."
"I know, that's exactly it! You're acting and talking about me like we're together when we're not. You've gotten attached."
Tommy blushed. "I haven't..."
You chucked bitterly. "I'm sorry, but we can't do this anymore. You'll have to find someone else to fuck."
"So that's it then? It's just over?" You nodded curtly, causing Tommy to look dumbfounded. "So you're telling me, that after all this time we've spent together, you haven't felt anything for me? Nothing?"
You gulped, pushing back the feeling of wanting to cry. "No..."
"You're lying." He repeated more firmly.
"I told you that I don't want to be in a relationship, I don't want a partner. It's a waste of time and energy."
Tommy had a surprisingly calm visage after all the hurtful things you've said, and only took a few steps toward you, making you back up until your back hit the wall. "You don't believe that. You're lying to yourself." He stood only a few inches away from you, feeling his body heat envelop you.
You grit your teeth, feeling the urge to slap him. "I'm not fucking lying."
Tommy nodded slowly, a tight lipped smile on his face as he finally backed away from you. "Fine." He said plainly, but you could see the shine of unshed tears in his eyes. "Guess I was wrong...my mistake. I'll leave you alone then." And with that, he exited your home, closing the door gently.
You ran up to your room, laid back down on your bed and cried. Damn him. Damn him for making you feel this way. This was only ever supposed to be fun, but now you were feeling worse and lonelier than you've ever had before.
You hoped that would've been the end of it, but several days later, you still felt awful.
Goddamn it.
Pushing Tommy away didn't work. You kept telling yourself over and over that you had no feelings for him whatsoever. You didn't want to admit it, Tommy was right. You were lying to yourself. You didn't know if you could fix it, but you were scared that you could. You didn't want to end up like your parents, you didn't want to get burned by someone you cared about. You didn't want to get betrayed. But Tommy was different, and maybe you did want to see where a relationship with him would go.
It took a couple days of thinking it over. The thoughts alone terrified you, but also filled you with a sort of excitement that you had never felt before.
That fear of rejection settled into the pit of your stomach as you walked to Tommy's house, what if you went too far, what if he actually gave up and has already started to move on, what if he hated you? Those thoughts alone would've been enough to make you turn around and head back home, but you didn't want to be a coward, you'd done that enough already.
You desperately tried to calm your fast beating heart as you came to stand right in front of Tommy's front door, your reflection in the glass storm door mocking you by showing how panicked you looked. You opened the storm door and knocked on the wooden door behind it, your knocks stuttering at first, then stepping back and anxiously waiting for the door to eventually open.
When Tommy opened the door and saw you standing there, you noticed his immediate frown. "What are you doing here?" You tried not to wince at his slight accusatory tone, but you knew he was just hurt.
"Can we talk?" You asked timidly.
Tommy let out a sigh before stepping aside and gesturing for you to enter his house. He closed the door behind you and walked to his living room, crossing his arms. "Well?" He looked at you expectantly. "You want to talk, so talk."
You felt all your nerves that you tried to push away come back at full force, you couldn't even get your mouth to open, much less get yourself to talk.
Tommy soon lost his angered expression, not being able to be mad for too long. He saw how nervous you looked, he had a feeling about why you finally came to his place, at least he hoped. He didn't want to make this any tougher on you. "Look, Y/n, if you don't want to do this with me anymore, that's fine. You were right, I got attached. If I actually am wrong and you don't feel anything for me, then I'm sorry. When you said what you said, I was hurt and I lashed out. I never wanted to make you uncomfortable."
You casted your gaze downwards, feeling like a spotlight was on you. You had to tell the truth, no matter how scary it was. "Tommy..." You exhaled shakily. "I came here to say that I'm sorry too. I did say some pretty hurtful things, and you didn't deserve that. And I came to tell you that...you were right. I was lying, to you, to myself. I...have started to feel things for you, that's why I've been avoiding you, cause it's scaring the hell outta me." Your hands were shaking, stuttering over your words by the time you finished, but you couldn't see Tommy's face, you didn't want to.
Tommy walked closer to you, but you kept your head down, only able to see the toe of his shoes. You flinched as he placed a delicate hand on your shoulder, gently wrapping his other arm around you and pulling you into a hug. "It's okay." He whispered. "You don't have to be scared, not with me."
You relaxed into his hold as best you could, closing your eyes and breathing deeply. "I don't know if I can do this, Tommy. I've never really tried, with anyone."
Tommy pulled away, a soft smile on his face as he looked down at you, his hands still wrapped around your torso. "Hey, we don't have to pick up right where we left off, ya know? We can start over, take things slow, if that's what you want."
You chuckled. "I don't think we can start over in that regard. I mean, we've already-"
"Yeah, yeah," Tommy interrupted. "sex was that good, huh?" He teased, making you blush. "But I mean it, if you want to start over, we can. Whatever will make you feel more comfortable."
It was probably not the most appropriate time, but you started to feel a rush of heat surge through you. You'd never met someone as kind as Tommy, you've never been treated with so much respect from someone, you realized that those qualities were attractive as hell. "I think, I think we should pick up where we left off...right now."
Tommy raised a brow, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Seriously? Right now? You sure?"
You nodded, leaning forward and standing on your toes, kissing Tommy feverishly. Maybe you should've waited, maybe you should've stopped, but you suddenly had a new hunger for Tommy and you didn't think you could've stalled it for very long.
"Ya know," Tommy started between kisses, "you don't have to do this if you're not-"
You sighed, pulling back to look Tommy in the eyes. "Tommy, please, I want you. I want you so bad it hurts, okay? And I really wish it hadn't taken me this long to finally realize...I don't care if I eventually get hurt, I just want to be with you."
Tommy grinned, kissing you once more. "You have no idea how happy that makes me. I promise, I'll do everything in my power to make sure that I'm the one who gets hurt if it ever comes to that. If I ever hurt you, god forbid, I will let Sarah Fier gut me herself."
You giggled, starting to kiss his neck. "I think that's a tad excessive. I'd do it myself." You heard Tommy sigh heavily as you nipped at an especially sensitive spot, his hold on your waist tightening with every noise you forced out of him.
Tommy dragged you to his bedroom, closing and locking the door as you sat at the foot of his bed. You reached out and hooked your fingers into the belt loops of his blue jeans, pulling him closer with a smirk. He leaned down to kiss you, groaning into your mouth as you started to palm his hardening length through the thick material.
Tommy soon grabbed your hand, gently pushing you down so you lay flat against his bed. He trailed kisses down your neck, lifting your shirt up over your head so he could kiss the skin of your torso and further down until he reached the waistband of your pants. You squirmed as he slowly pulled your pants and underwear down your legs, goosebumps raising all over your body as he ghosted his fingers up and down your thighs. He gave you a teasing smirk as he purposely ran his hands over every part of your body except the place you wanted him the most, the soft whine that escaped your mouth giving him an ego boost. "Tommy, please." You breathed out, gripping the sheets beneath you as you felt your core throb from lack of attention.
You bit your lip as you felt Tommy trail sloppy kisses up the inside of your thighs, his warm breath hitting your core, making your toes curl. You let out a small gasp as he ran his middle finger up and down your folds, gathering your slick and circling it around your clit slowly. Tommy placed a feather light kiss to your clit before pushing his finger inside you, the soft squelch music to his ears, he hadn't even warmed you up yet and you were already so wet for him. A part of Tommy would like to think that finally confessing each other feelings for one another helped in that regard.
You arched your back slightly as Tommy curled his finger, already finding that special spot inside you, trying your best to silence the whimpers you so desperately wanted to let out. Tommy noticed how red and swollen your bottom lip was from how often you were biting it, that did not make him happy. "I want to hear you." Tommy voiced lowly, leaning his face close and finally tonguing your clit gently as he continued curling his finger inside of you.
"Fuck-!" You gasped, lolling your head back and your hand replacing the bedsheet with Tommy's hair, encouraging him to continue. Your hips bucked as Tommy added a second finger, his mouth completely devouring your aching nub, throwing you for a loop as you could never get used to how talented he was with his tongue.
You quickly felt a thin layer of sweat building up on your forehead, Tommy forcing your body to exert itself in the best way possible. He removed his fingers from you as you started to rut against his face, bringing both of his hands to grab onto your legs, placing them over his shoulders and holding you in place.
"Ah-!" You cried out as you soon started to feel that familiar heat rush through your core, the pleasure building and building, almost becoming unbearable until, "I'm gonna cum!" You felt like Tommy was going to bruise your thighs by how tightly he was holding onto them, but the slight ache made the pleasure all the more intense. That tight coil of pleasure finally snapped, a tidal wave of euphoria washing over you, the thought that it was Tommy making you feel this way making your stomach flutter even after you came down from your high.
You looked down at Tommy, seeing him gaze lovingly at you with heavy lidded eyes, almost like he just had an orgasm himself. He kissed the inside of your thigh once more, crawling up your body and placing an open mouthed kiss on your neck, then connecting your lips with his.
You smiled at him, his eyes staring into your own and looking like he wanted to say something, but he refrained and kissed you once more before you started to palm his forgotten erection. Tommy's eyes rolled to the back of his head as you reached into his jeans and started rubbing him, his cock already aching for you.
Tommy sat up, removing his clothes in a hurry and was back on you in an instant. He kissed your cheek as he gently rubbed himself between your folds, the tip of his cock teasing at your entrance before he pushed in, slipping through easily from the combination of your cum and his saliva. "God, you feel so amazing." Tommy grinned, bringing up a hand to caress your other cheek.
Usually, Tommy didn't take but a few seconds to let you adjust, he usually started with a quick pace. But he didn't even move for a minute, then started to slowly thrust, watching your every expression intently. You whined as he continued his slow but deep pace, hitting every spot inside of you like his cock was made for you. Surely, keeping up such a slow pace wasn't that pleasurable for Tommy, but he wanted this to last. He just wanted to look at you, taking in every noise you made.
Tommy wrapped his hand around your throat, not squeezing, as he picked up the pace. You both moaned in tandem, Tommy now finally chasing after his own high, but still trying to focus on you. You gripped at his shoulders, his cock stretching you so deliciously to the point you knew you wouldn't be able to form a coherent sentence even if you tried. You already felt close to another orgasm, Tommy hitting that spot inside you over and over again with every rigorous thrust of his hips. It only took a few more snaps to send you over the edge, his name the only word you could cry out as your second climax knocked the breath out of you.
Tommy wasn't that far behind. He tried to keep his eyes open as he felt himself getting close, your face the only thing he wanted to see as he orgasmed. "Fuck, Y/n...!" He groaned, his breathing uneven and thrusts stuttering, his cock twitching inside of you before he finally released. He placed his forehead against yours as he moaned loudly, his hips stilling as his last ropes of cum emptied out inside you.
You kissed his forehead as he exhaled shakily, the lopsided grin that graced his face causing your face to flush with heat. Tommy laid down beside you, his puppy dog eyes looking up at you with amazement. He started to reach out for you but hesitated, pulling back with a frown as he remembered that you didn't like to cuddle. But things were different now, you cared for one another and you really wanted to try to be his partner.
Tommy's eyes widened as you curled up next to him, wrapping his arm around yourself and resting your head on his chest. He didn't know whether to cry or cheer, he figured either reaction wouldn't be that appropriate. So he decided to relax into your embrace, relishing in the moment, a grin settling on his face as he realized there would be more times like these.
~~~~~~~~~~
Yikes, I'm just projecting, aren't I? Anyways💅🏻

If I Can’t Have You || Nick Goode and Thomas Slater
Request- Ik we don’t know the actual reason as to why Nick chose Tommy to kill, but maybe a fic where they both have a crush on a Shadyside girl but she shows more interest in Tommy while she doesn’t feel comfortable with Nick because he’s always staring at her and gets any chance to be alone with her and close.
“Tommy stop!” You shrieked while laughing as your fellow camp counselor kept tickling your sides while you two of you pulled weeds out of the camp garden.
You pushed him aside and stood up as you finished your task.
Nick Goode watched from afar as Tommy grabbed the back of your thighs and pulled you back to the ground playfully, completely covering you in dirt even more than you already were.
You only laughed again and shoved him back in the dirt before standing up and walking away, leaving him laying in the dirt with a grin on his face.
As you went to walk past where Nick was standing he stepped out in front of you, “Hey Y/N.”
“Oh, hey Nick.” You responded politely, “Do you need something?”
“Uh no. I mean yes. Um I was wondering if you’d want to manage Arts and Crafts with me after dinner?”
“Yeah, sure. Excuse me Nick, I clearly need a shower,” You motioned to yourself with a laugh.
“Oh yeah, yeah. I um, I’ll see you later then.” He replied and you nodded, yelling an, “See you then!” Before running off to the showers.
Later that day Nick sat with the other counselors for dinner, waiting for you to arrive, when he overheard Tommy say something that made his heart drop.
“Hey guys I think I’m gonna ask Y/N out tonight.”
“Finally, you’ve only been flirting with her all week.” Gary comments before taking a bite of his hotdog.
“That’s great Tommy. Y/N really likes you. She won’t shut up about it when it’s just me and Joan in our cabin at night.” Cindy tells him.
“That’s true,” Joan agrees.
“Hey guys, what are you talking about?” You ask, suddenly appearing with a tray and sitting down next to Cindy.
“Oh nothing important,” Her best friend waves off, changing the subject.
After dinner you and Nick headed to the Arts and Crafts cabin, which was already packed with campers working on all sorts of different projects.
The first hour went fine. You busied yourself helping the kids and didn’t talk to Nick very much, which he found disappointing to say the least.
Finally when you were in the supply closet getting more glue Nick was able to get you alone.
You turned and nearly dropped an armful of glue bottles as you spotted him standing there in the doorway of the closet.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you.” He apologized.
You shook your head, “It’s alright you just caught me off guard is all.”
You waited for him to move and when he didn’t you gave him a cautious look, “Is there something you needed to grab?”
He seems to snap out of whatever daze he’s in, “Oh yeah. Just construction paper.”
“Oh, ok.” You respond, slipping past him while he reaches up and grabs a stack of the colored paper.
Before you get too far, however, he grabs your arm and you turn to face him with a questioning look.
“Hey Y/N. I want to see If you’d maybe want to hang out with me tomorrow night? Like just us. I don’t know, maybe we can steal some snacks from the kitchen and have like a picnic on the dock or something.” He questions nervously.
“Oh Nick….uh,” You reply uncomfortably, “That sounds nice, really. But um, It kind of sounds like a date. Nick, you’re a nice guy really. But I don’t like you like that.”
“Yeah sure, I get it.” Nick replied quickly, trying to hide the embarrassment he felt from your rejection.
“I’m really sorry.” You apologized sincerely.
“It’s fine really. I should probably get this paper back out to the kids before we have some angry campers.” He says and pushes past you without leaving time for you to respond.
The next morning the other counselors were buzzing with conversation and Tommy Slater seemed to be absolutely smug about something.
Nick was still upset about what had happened the night before but tried pushing it to the back of his mind to join the conversation his fellow counselors were having.
“What’s going on?” He questioned, sitting down next to Joan who was eating a bagel. He tried not to recoil at the smell of weed coming off of her.
“Tommy boy here finally got the guts to ask Y/N out.” Gary mentions.
“And she said yes!” Cindy gushes, “Of course I knew she would.”
Suddenly Nick didn’t feel hungry anymore. In fact he felt the complete opposite, like as soon as he took a bite he’d just throw it back up.
He stood up from the table abruptly, “I um, I just remembered I forgot something in the cabin.”
He left in a haste, nearly bumping into you on your way in. You jumped back in surprise and called out to him to ask why he was in such a hurry but he ignored you.
And that’s how Nick found himself sitting in front of that stupid alter that his dad had told him about so many times. All week he’d been thinking about this moment. About whether he’d actually be strong enough to continue the family “tradition” and who’s name he’d give if he did.
But now he knew exactly who it would be.
If he couldn’t have you then neither could Thomas Slater and he would make sure of that.

Heyyyy bestie,if it's not too much trouble I would like to request a Tommy fic,maybe centred around camp (minus all the murder death kill stuff lolz) and he and the read just can't keep their hands off each other/keep trying to find ways to be physically together, methinks that would be very cute and fun. Idk if explained this well at all but honestly go ham,I just love ur writing :)
a/n: please note (as always) i no longer write for fear street! i am clearing out old requests.
"tom," you murmur, rubbing the sleep from your eyes as you attempt to cease the onslaught of affection from your boyfriend. "we're going to be late."
tommy hummed, clearly disinterested with your faux complaints, continuing to press lasting kisses on your neck.
"tommy!"
"what? can't i kiss my adoring partner? who loves me and wants to spend the day being pampered?" he teases.
"no, you can't. i have to go on lifeguard duty. you'll see me later." you reassure, making an effort to rise from your uncomfortable (and quite small) bed as your boyfriend groans once more.
"fine. you know i can't resist you."
"and i thank myself every day for that." you joke, pulling him up as you press a soft kiss on his lips. "now get outta here, i gotta change."
leaning in for another, tommy smiles, lingering at the doorway. "see you tonight?"
"sooner, if you're lucky!" you call, watching his retreating figure as you continue getting ready.
hours later, you find yourself hissing under the harsh summer heat, cursing yourself for taking this godforsaken job as you feel yourself almost literally burning to a crisp.
"enjoying yourself, babe?" a voice emerges from beside you.
"how could you tell?" you reply sardonically, the orange sweater in your periphery confirming your suspicions as to who it was. it was either that or the hand making its way to yours, your pick.
"your lovely expression." he said, giving you time to notice the intense furrow of your brows (and to unclench your jaw)
"how're you?" you respond, ignoring his retort and turning your attention directly to him.
"better, now that i'm with you." tommy smirked, gesturing his free hand downwrd in an attempt for you to level your head with his.
"flirt." you roll your eyes, leaning off the side of your chair to appease his request, kissing him. "you know, you're really distracting me on the job."
"i'll take that as a compliment." he smiles, leaning in again.
"hey, lovebirds!" a voice interrupts- ziggy, you assume. "you two're gross! fuckin', go somewhere else!" she complains, storming off once more. weird.
"you heard the lady," tommy begins, "wanna go cuddle?"
"sure, let me just get somebody to take over." you confirm, hopping off the chair to find your coworker, leaving tommy to think of just how lucky he was to have someone like you.

so, i lied. heres the part two i said i wouldn’t write <3 for — fear street 1978 | fear street 1994 part 2 no real pairing just yn causing nick goode to pee himself like a piss baby <3 c berman referred to as ziggy / christine interchangeably!
She called you. As soon as Deena told her the truth, Christine Berman picked up her phone and dialed your number. You didn’t answer until the second time — not that that was unusual, really. You had a bad habit of not answering your phone.
“Y/N.” Your heart started to race. Ziggy calling on a day that wasn’t scheduled could only mean one thing. It was happening again — another Shadysider had been turned into a monster. “I— I know what happened. To Tommy.”
You licked your lips nervously at the sound of his name. Thomas Slater was etched into your mind and body and soul. His name replaced every other word and his face was the only one you could ever see. You sighed, closing your eyes as your hands began to shake.
“Everyone knows what happened to him,” you spoke up. Even though you thought of his name on a continuous loop, you couldn’t bring yourself to say it. Not yet, I’m not ready to let go yet. “I was kinda there that night, C.”
“No, I mean,” her breath hitched. She met eyes with Deena, who nodded encouragingly. “I know why he turned bad. Why he started killing.”
You furrowed your eyebrows before rolling your eyes. She’d had the same thing to say since she miraculously survived that night at Camp Nightwing. “There isn’t a curse, Zig. There’s no witch to—“
“There is, but it’s not Sarah Fier.” She took another trembling breath. You could feel her nerves oozing into you. “It’s— it was Nick. The whole Goode family, actually. They’ve been doing this for centuries.”
“Nick?” Your voice broke. Sure, you didn’t really like the guy, but was he capable of second-hand murder? He was friends with Tommy — worked as a counselor with him and he just decided to turn him into a murderer?
And then you thought of how close he and Ziggy were. He didn’t just betray Tommy — he betrayed everyone at camp that night.
You zoned back into Christine’s rambling, catching the end of her sentence. “—two kids here and they saw them, all of them. And now Nick is after them, I guess. I’m going to help — I need to help. For—“
“I’ll be there soon.” That was all Christine Berman heard before a click! signified the end of your call.
—
“What are you doing here?” His voice was soft as he faced Christine. In Nick Goode’s eyes, the older woman flickered to who she was at camp — loose, red hair and a fresh burn on her arm. That was his Ziggy, that was who he fell in love with.
And, maybe part of Nick Goode would always be in love with Christine ‘Ziggy’ Berman.
Just like part of you would always be plagued with the feelings you have for Tommy.
Before she could respond — set the plan in motion — a new set of footsteps echoing in the mall caused everyone to pause. The sound of something sliding against the floor pierced their ears as they tried to figure out who this uninvited guest was.
Suddenly, Nick Goode was hit in the back with a bat and you were standing over him. You placed the tip of your shoe to his throat, daring him to move. Grinning down at him maliciously, you tilted your head. “Hi, Nick.”
“Y/N,” he choked out your name with wide eyes. After the events of Camp Nightwing, you had all but disappeared. No one heard from you that night other than the officers you ran to. “You’re here?”
“Yeah, I’m here.” You glanced at Christine, sending her a grin. You looked back down at the coward who was trembling beneath you, feeling the urge to just end him yourself. But, you didn’t — someone else could have that privilege. “Anyone ever tell you payback is a bitch, Goode?”
With that, you slammed the end of the bat into his nose. A sickening crack thudded against the mall’s walls and you made a run for it. Ziggy went with their original plan and dumped the paint bucket of Deena’s blood onto Nick.
The Shadyside killers were released and you held your breath. You were hiding with your old friend and three new faces. Christine nudged your shoulder, “thanks for joining us, Y/N.”
The older guy was staring at you in awe. You lifted an eyebrow in question. Mouth agape, he just shook his head. “I’m so glad you’re on our side.”
That made you giggle, the bright sound drowning out Nick’s pleas for help.
Somehow, the man of the hour freed himself. He took off running and Deena went after him. The killers paused, looking at the remaining four. Seeing Tommy once more caused your breath to hitch.
He was still wearing that stupid yellow shirt — except, now, it was so bloodied and stained you couldn’t barely tell what color it was. His head was covered with a burlap bag, hiding his face from your view.
But, maybe that was a good thing.
Deena’s fight didn’t seem to last long as the killers began to disappear. No — they were victims. The citizens of Shadyside were victims to the Goode’s and their selfish desires.
“You okay?” Ziggy asked as you stared. Tommy had faltered long ago, simply standing still as Ruby Lane began to fade away. “Seeing him again must be hard.”
“He’s free now,” you stated. You watched as Tommy’s figure began to fade away. His body was facing towards you and you told yourself he was staring at you. Of course, you couldn’t actually see his face, but you could pretend. “Tommy’s finally free.”
You can let go now.
— im sad again big sigh. anyways! yn did what we all wanted to do n i love them for it
