From your work in any Trek series, what is a character you wish you'd gotten to write more for, or a storyline you wish you could've built out more? Any little thing you wanted to develop but for some reason couldn't?

So... been buried in work, but I figured I should answer some of my backlog before the Bell Riots start.

I only got to write for Ezri once and Nikki is so great so i wish I'd been able to write more for her.

I wish we could have rescued poor Tom.

I really wish I'd been able to do the story for DS9 I turned into "Angel Dark, Demon Bright" for Andromeda.

I'm wondering what happened to Thomas Riker. My headcanon is he escaped from the labor camp (per the excellent novel Imzadi II) then stayed on the lam.

He did desert Starfleet so I would think he'd be on the run from them. However, Lower Decks (set in 2371) seems to indicate that, while his whereabouts aren't known, he's not currently a fugitive.

I want to know what happened to Tom Riker in the Picard era. It can’t be great knowing another version of yourself is living YOUR best life.

But also is he still in Cardassian Labor Camp? Is he still alive? Does anyone care if he is?

Love that Star Trek accurately portrays humans in the future as being DTF practically anything. Works wonders for diplomacy.

We may not be super intelligent or super strong, but give humans a chance. We're annoyingly likeable, tenacious, stubborn, and attracted to the weirdest things.
