something short and sweet bc i'm not posting a new fic this week but i hope you enjoy it!

The flash of cameras was something you were used to, but tonight felt different. As you stepped out of the car at the prestigious event, Charles' hand firmly in yours, the crowd of paparazzi seemed more aggressive than usual. The combination of an A-list actress and a Formula 1 star had created a media frenzy.

"YN! Over here!" "Charles! This way!" "Are you two official?" "YN, how does it feel dating a racing driver?" "Charles, what's it like dating a Hollywood star?"

The shouting was overwhelming, and despite your years of experience handling red carpets, you felt yourself tense as the photographers pressed closer, their cameras mere inches from your face.

"Stay close to me," Charles murmured, his thumb stroking reassuringly over your knuckles.

"I'm used to this," you whispered back, trying to maintain your composed smile.

"I know, but this is crazy even for me."

You felt Charles' grip on your hand tighten protectively as one particularly aggressive photographer pushed forward, nearly causing you to stumble in your heels.

"Watch it!" Charles snapped, his accent thickening with anger as he steadied you. In an instant, his demeanor changed from polite to protective. He moved swiftly, positioning himself between you and the crowd.

"Back off," he said firmly. "I said back off! You're being too aggressive."

His arm wrapped securely around your waist, creating a barrier between you and the chaos. "That's enough. We'll pose for photos, but give us space."

"Charles, it's okay," you tried to soothe him, though you appreciated his protection.

"No, it's not okay," he responded, his jaw clenched. "They don't get to push you around just because you're a public figure."

The authority in his voice made several photographers take a step back. You could feel the tenseness in his body as he guided you through the crowd.

"Almost there," he assured you quietly. "Just a few more steps."

"YN! One more shot!" "Charles! Look this way!" "Are you living together?"

"Just ignore them," you whispered to Charles, sensing his growing irritation.

As you finally reached the relative safety of the venue's entrance, Charles's posture relaxed slightly, but his protective hold remained. He pressed a gentle kiss to your temple, completely ignoring the renewed frenzy of camera flashes the gesture triggered.

"Are you sure you're okay?" he asked, his green eyes scanning your face with concern. "I've never seen them this aggressive."

"I'm fine," you assured him, straightening his tie affectionately. "I'm used to it, remember? Though I have to admit, having my own personal bodyguard is nice."

He smiled softly, but his eyes remained serious. "Nobody gets to treat you like that," he said, his thumb gently caressing your cheek. "Not even if they have cameras. I don't care if it's part of the job."

"My hero," you teased, trying to lighten his mood.

"I'm serious, mon coeur. I know this comes with both our careers, but there's a line."

In that moment, despite the chaos around you, you couldn't help but smile. You'd dealt with aggressive paparazzi before, but having someone who instinctively moved to protect you, who prioritized your comfort over the perfect photo op - that was new.

"Thank you," you said softly, standing on your tiptoes to kiss his cheek. "For having my back."

"Always," he promised, taking your hand again. "Ready to go face the slightly more civilized cameras inside?"

You laughed, squeezing his hand. "Lead the way, Leclerc."

Tom Holland and Zendaya? If we were to go by the length of time they were rumored to have been dating before they finally made it official, it's only been eight years.

I think the longest has to be....

Hmm. Well, Samuel L Jackson has been married 44 years. Ted Danson has been married 29 years. Kelly Ripa has been married about 28 years. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been together 41 years. I could go on....

But here's the thing. Kyra and Kevin? Look to be in love and happy together. Tracy is still staying by Michael's side as he battles his disease. Tom and Rita? They're doing great. We rarely hear any drama about Samuel or Angela.

Most of these celebrities, in fact, have good chemistry. Demonstrate affection, show it rather nicely without having to resort to public making out or anything like that.

Jensen and Danneel?

Let me put it this way, folks. I showed someone who is clueless to the Supernatural fandom but knew me personally. And I just showed them a still from Wales Comic Con and said "What do you think of those two right there?" I didn't want my feelings to influence them and I didn't want to bias them.

They took a look and shrugged. "Work acquaintances?" they hazarded.

Me: "No. Husband and wife."

Cue eyes popping out.

There's no chemistry there! No obvious draw of them being together. Not in photo ops, not on the red carpet. Definitely not the AD House Tour and the brewery interview.

In a lot of interviews and convention moments, Jensen made it more or less clear he doesn't love his wife. Danneel may call Jensen "the love of my life", but she has demonstrated zero proof of that.

Whoever compiled that video made a joke out of marriage and love just by putting the Ackles in it.

Just some friends from the Demon Realm for the Wild Family AU. Definitely not the Octavius family from my Marvel fanfics I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Otto is in the Abomination Coven and is giving very “Pete’s Meter” vibes and I kind of love it. Just like with the Changling Families adults, I played with Darius’s outfit for it but also tried to keep some of canon Otto’s designs and I really like the results. He carries a canister of abomination mater which he uses to create the “actuators”. He’s a better abomination witch than Alador but nowhere near Darius.

Toby is the oldest and the same age as Amber. I had considered marketing their ages the same as their ages in their first movies but decided I wanted the Spider-mans to go to school with the main characters of the story. He multitracks Illusions and Beast Keeping since Peter 2 has the most spider powers of all the Peters and the Illusion teacher teaches the photo class in The Owl House.

Then comes Andy. He’s Evan’s age and Multitracks Illusions and Abominations. He’s also a bit of a goofball and I love him. All three boys will have Spider palismans modeled off the spiders on their suits. Otto’s is an octopus and Rosie’s is a butterfly. I have a headcanon that part of a palisman’s form is built off of the witch as a person and that is often influenced by families. Rosie’s family primarily have bug palismans and Otto’s family primarily have cephalopods. So their kids have eight legged bug palismans.

Baby Tommy was a bit of an oopsie. He’s only six, same age as King in this fic, meaning he’s eight years younger than Toby and six years younger than Andy. This comes from the large age gap between him and the other Spider-Mans in canon. He’s just a bard and has only just started in tracked classes. I saw Tom Holland dance and my brain went, “Make the baby a Bard!” Also, he’s a mama’s boy because I said so.

Which finally brings us to Rosie. You know I had to make a character played by Donna Murphy a Bard. Once again modeled off the outfits we see the Batts wear, I gave her a skirt instead of the slacks. Her palisman, Anna, often hides herself as a butterfly clip in her hair. She’s a close friend of Raine and also knew Amber’s bio parents so she helps tutor her as well. Her magic mainly comes from singing and she’s one of Raine’s biggest competitors. However, since they’re still good friends, Raine is also one of the few people who knows about a spell song she developed. One that can mimic the magic of any other coven. I may have accidentally made Rosie a little OP… (Yes it’s the ‘Healing Incantation’ from Tangled. It’s self-indulgent and stupid but I’m gonna do it. Ok?)

Here’s my story of meeting Tom at ACE comic con

The convention was in August and I got my tickets early July and didn’t tell a soul in case the plans fell through.

The amount of research and prepping I did to make sure my makeup wouldn’t make me look like a ghost and things like that was unreal

The day came and I took a train to Philadelphia because I’m from New York the night before and stayed a a hotel right next to the convention center and when I tell you I did not sleep for a SECOND that night

I got to the convention center around 8 and waited on line for his panel

He came out to All I Do Is Win 🥺 and talked about Spider-Man leaving the MCU and some other things for about an hour

My photo op was at 1 so I walked around the convention and met some awesome cosplayers (including a venom cosplayer who asked ME for a photo with him on his phone and then proceeded to lick me with his fake tongue)

I’m not kidding (I was so scared)

I got on line at maybe 12:30 and waited on this huge, wrap around line until about 2:50

I finally got to where you drop off your bags and my heart was going sicko mode

I entered the room where he was and GUH the way I nearly died

There were a few girls in front of me and a lady asked me what pose I wanted to do and I told her a hug and she said, and I quote, “sorry, no hugs”

I was deadass about to cry because I paid all this money, came all this way, and waited all this time for no hug???

But then the girl in front of me hugged him and the lady laughed and said “oh! I guess you can hug!”

So THANK YOU to that girl in front of me

Now it’s my turn

I walk up to him and my legs and shaking and I do NOT look this man in the eyes

I say “hi, you’re from heaven” and he goes “aw thank you”

please don’t judge me for what I said, I cannot be accountable for what comes out of my mouth when Tom Holland is standing next to me

I ask him for a hug and he says SURE and I ask if he can prop his leg up and the way his face lit up 🥺🥺 and he said “of course!” like he’d been waiting all day for someone to ask him that

We take the picture, and I think I blacked out?

he smelled kinda sweaty and kinda like cologne and just like…British

I still have not looked him in the eyes at this point and as I’m walking away, he kinda slides his hands that were on my back to my arms and he HOLDS ME THERE so I look up at him

It was like slow motion 😔

And he looks me in my eyes and I look him in his

Im like 👁👄👁 and he’s like 👁—👁 (because he doesn’t have lips)

And he says

“I’ll see you later, okay?” With the cutest smile and puppy dogs eyes and I DIED

I think I said okay? I was definitely out of my body at that point

So I leave and I start crying RIGHT AWAY

I get on line and get my favorite photo in the world that I look at every day and have printed on a blanket lmao

He was the sweetest, funniest, and most genuine man and I am forever lucky to have met him

And we were wearing matching outfits! Our minds

Y’ALL!!!

I literally forgot about this account because I’m always on my main account but I have big news that I can’t believe is actually real. I’M MEETING TOM AT THE KEYSTONE COMIC-CON IN PHILLY, PA!!! I bought myself a photo-op pass along with my general admission ticket. The event is next Sunday so just over a week away and it doesn't feel real but at the same time I'm already freaking out. Idk what to wear. Idk what to say. I’m going to be so nervous and probably say something stupid and start rambling or just barely say anything at all. Idk what pose to do. Ahhh!!! Anyways, I just had to put this out into the void of Tumblr even though nobody follows this account or cares lmao.
