Exactly! I won't say better either.. Nothing against the actors, they did their job wonderfully as their respective characters in the series.

But there are some characters I imagine differently, at least for me, in a lot of ways.

I have a feeling Nijiro Murakami will do wonderfully as Kazutora. And if I'm being completely honest, I'd only want him as Mikey because of how short he is. That's basically the only reason why. But I'm still very happy he's in the movies to begin with. So I can't complain too much.

Reo Sano is someone I could see as Chifuyu. But there might be one other person I could also imagine as Chifuyu too.. But he hasn't been introduced into the High&Low franchise yet, so I kind of don't want to say who he is yet. But something about the man's appearance makes me imagine him as a character in Tokyo Revengers. In my opinion.

And, I don't know why, but something about Dori Sakurada's appearance and personality as Suguru Niragi makes me think of Baji. So part of me wishes he was Baji.

i feel like mikey is a hard face to pin down in a live action. i like ryo yoshizawa, i think he’s real fun to watch (i actually just started watching friends game with him and yuki), but i also feel mikey could have been cast differently. idk who i’d personally pick. i love nijiro, but idk if he could do those scenes where mikey is actually kind of scary. i do think he’ll do excellent as tora tho.

i think dori would have been an entertaining watch as baji! he’s slightly too tall, but i can overlook it since everyone’s heights are a lil fucked in the la. i need the whole long hair, punk-y look back on dori. also fang-y dori bc the actor wore fake teeth for baji? 👀👀👀 yes please. i don’t see a lot of similarities between niragi and baji’s personalities though, but that just might be me.

i really enjoyed season 2! kizzy and kaito are everything to me!! where are all the kizzy x kaito fanfics?!! love murayama, he’s my lil guy. the whole kohaku, tatsuya, tsukumo plot got me in my feels; also i love tsukumo, oh u can’t spell or do maths? girl same, love u. i didn’t really care for anyone in mighty warriors except for ryu, idk they just didn’t hit for me. ryu tho 👀 he said like 2 words, but he’s very pretty.

Both her and Rindo read Jojo. The met at the manga shop when there was only one copy of the last volume they both needed and resolved to the only solution: a fight. Senju won and Ran is happy to have an embarrassing story about Rindo to use against him when he brings up the time he closed Kakucho eyes

but we were (read: I WAS!!!!!!!!) robbed of a proper reaction from chifuyu AND an actual moment between him and takemichi right before his (=takemichi's) death.

they were best friends!!! they called each other PARTNER!!!! why the fuck was chifuyu demoted from toman's vice president, who also promised to fight by takemichi's side no matter what, to one of the characters in the background with a SINGLE PANEL of him crying in tr 276???????????

I get showing each individual reaction wouldn't have fit in a single chapter so I'm not too salty abt the others

but chifuyu is SO important to the story AND TO TAKEMICHI!!! as much as I love his friendship with mikey, chifuyu was the FIRST person takemichi had entrusted with his biggest secret, the time-leaping powers!!!*

High&Low! So the High&Low franchise has been out for a long time... Almost ten years ago, eight years to be exact. An old fandom.

And I've actually been obsessively rewatching High&Low and Alice in Borderland lately to help me get inspiration to write for the fandoms. So I have been working on my character profiles at the moment. I still have to watch the Tokyo Revengers live adaption movies. But I'll say there are quite some actors from the cast that you would recognize.

Keita Machida

Kenjiro Yamashita (Aya Asahina's Husband)

Sho Aoyagi

Yu Inaba [You don't know him. But his character is trans, like Kuina, in a positive representation. That I know of. Female trans character who is also able to fight, street fighting not martial arts fighting.]

Yuki Yamada

Gōki Maeda [So.. I don't think you know him. But! His character does remind me of Niragi physically (back when Niragi was in school) so it is possible you might like his character. That's all I will say about him.]

Those are definitely some actors that you'll recognize.

High&Low is a franchise. Some parts of the franchise like one of the spinoff shows, booklets and even manga are only available in Japan. So I doubt you'll be able to watch or read those adaptions. But so far, if you can, watch the show - two seasons - before the movies. If you have Netflix, you could watch the movies there. But you will have to find a site to watch the show. So that may preoccupy you for a while.

And, if you enjoy the fandom, that would be another fandom we can have in common. And possibility that another fan is involved too. So there is that.. Maybe I should eventually reveal myself so I'm not only ever spamming you through anonymous messages in your inbox, not that every anonymous person is me. But I have noticed we have a lot of fandoms, celebrities and characters in common. That I know of.

i didn’t know it had a show as well, but i’ve got a few sites i use for j/kdramas so hopefully i’ll be able to find it.

i really enjoyed the live action tokyorev movie, but i have been noticing it changed bits from the anime (not sure about the manga). like some characters were missing or vaguely in the background or just not named. the actors are all really fun to watch though (yuki and hayato my darlings!). so i would recommend! im v excited about the new movies!

When it's the cold seasons and you wear comfy too bug shirts around the house you never know when bby baji will show up and stuff his head umder your shirt to get to your nipple :(( you couls be cooking and he'd worm himself in front of you only to get under your shirt to nurse bc baby is hungry and wants attention :(( bonus points if your cuddling with daddy shuji bc then he gets double the cuddles and attention!! He gets to nurse from mama and get cuddled by daddy💕💕

he just has a little bit of a struggle with impulse control :( baby doesn't mean any harm or inconvenience for mommy but you both know if Baji wants to nurse, there's really no stopping. And Hanma...lets be honest, he might just encourage him to go to you whenever he wants without fear of punishment. You're folding laundry? Baji has crawled under your shirt and made it entirely impossible to fold the sheets. Cooking dinner? Baji hopped up on the counter ages ago and just waited until you got closer so he could grab mommy and shove his face in your chest. The entire time Hanma always walks by, clicking his tongue with a faint smirk telling you that he's your monster and you created such a needy thing. He's not wrong...it's pretty hard to tell Baji no honestly

you'd think Hanma would get pissy when Baji interrupts anything the two of you are doing but...that simply isn't the case

even when you're enjoying a quiet evening together, Baji is shoving himself between the two of you and flipping your shirt up so he can get to mommy's chest. Hanma is humming happily as he plays with Baji's hair and keeps it out of his face so his baby boy can take as along as he needs on your tits. Hanma, only after Baji's fallen asleep latched on your tit, grinning at you and mumbling under his breath so Baji can't hear, about how he should put another baby in you just so both your tits are occupied and leaking.
