上次來沒營業所以跑去吃了巴倫斯康， 這次終於有開， 但必須得候位， 尤其是在午餐過後的下午時段， 在現場候位真的很痛苦， 因為外面天氣超好， 熱到整個人都很煩躁！ ｜薏仁豆花加大 /豆漿 /芋圓 / 珍珠 豆花本身很綿密， 挖的時候是結實的， 但入口是有那種快要化開的口感， 豆香味很舒服。 豆漿部分應該是不加糖的， 但因為配料應該都會浸泡過糖水， 吃起來時， 並不會像是完全沒有甜味， 還是可以吃到配料的糖水融合在裡面的甜味， 大概是一分糖左右的微甜感， 所以不愛吃太甜的人， 可以選豆漿。 對了， 不愛柴燒豆漿的人也可以選， 不會有焦香味。 / 薏仁燉到很鬆棉的口感， 基本上不用咬， 用舌頭一頂就會化在嘴裡， 然後散發出舒服的甜味， 好愛啊！ / 珍珠比較像是傳統冰店的粉圓， 小小的一顆顆的， 但可能比較少人點， 有些會黏成一球的。 他的口感是偏軟爛的， 沒有什麼彈性的那種， 所以喜歡咀嚼感的人， 就可以直接跳過。 / 芋圓部分， 餐單上加點是15元， 但其實已經漲價成20了， 但菜單沒改。 他的口感是蠻好的， 蕃薯圓的部分， 咀嚼時， 蕃薯味會充滿整個口腔， 但芋圓的部分， 他的味道就沒有蕃薯味道來的強烈， 但是單獨吃他時， 還是有明顯的芋頭味， 不會沒有味道。 #桃城豆花 #嘉義美食 #傳統美食新生命 #豆花 #芋圓 #地瓜圓 #台灣小吃 #傳統小吃 #tofupudding #beancurd #traditionalfood #北極是吃貨 #taiwanfood streetfood #afternoontea #teatime #popdaily #popyummy #popchaiyi #pop嘉義 #嘉義旅行 （在 桃城豆花） https://www.instagram.com/p/ClNDHptPETw/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

A #blizzard on the weekend of #LunarNewYear as the elders and their families shop and prepare is the absolute PERFECT time to have my @runforchinatown teammates come out for some #CROSSTRAINING. Taho - a classic Filipino dessert that is a combination of soft tofu pudding, brown sugar syrup and sago. I like this one a lot because, it is so much more softer and silky smooth than any tofu pudding/jelly I've ever had before. The sweetness from the brown sugar syrup is tasty but I would prefer it to be darker and much more thicker as that is what I am used to eating back home in Malaysia which gives a more richer taste (Malaysia also has its own version of tofu pudding which we call "Tau Foo Fah" or "Dou Hua", they are both pretty similar). I like that it has some slightly chewy sago because it provides a contrast of texture against the soft silky tofu pudding. Would recommend it if you ever head to @hapunan to try their food.
