Another one for destroying the myth of male supremacy! Anyone watch those survival shows where contestants take like 10 items with them and have to spend months isolated in the wilderness?

It’s so funny to me because the female contestants are so mentally strong and at peace. What usually gets them is lack of food, an infection, an injury… something always physical.

Meanwhile the men always lose their damn minds lmao, they can not be alone with their wretched, miserable thoughts.

My grandpa loves those shows and when I watch with him, it always shows a woman on screen happily working on her snares or nets, humming along peacefully… then it cuts to a male contestant shaking and jittering like a madman and confessing to the camera that he’s gonna hang himself if he has to be alone one more second …

I don’t think misery is always indicative of moral standing, but if one sex consistently can’t stand even their own company… well! It’s interesting!
