“you had fun today?” came DARRY’s voice from the left of you as he sat in the driver’s seat, taking you home. you guys had decided to take johnny, sodapop, and ponyboy to the oklahoma state fair, which would explain the sleepiness that laced his tone. you, though, would practically be vibrating in your seat if it wasn’t for darry’s hand resting on your thigh.

still pumped up from the crazy rides at the fair, your eyes roamed across all the bright lights littering the city as you looked out of the car window.

“so much.” you responded, beaming at your boyfriend next to you before taking a look in the rearview mirror and spotting the boys asleep in the backseat.

“you think they did, too?” you asked darry, lips pouting dramatically at how cute the boys looked, even when soda was practically drooling on pony.

darry gave you a small ‘mhm’, a tiny smile growing on his face when he looked back at them too. “y’sure you’re not tired?”

“i’m so awake right now, dare.” you chuckled a bit, turning back around and resting your head against the car seat’s headrest.

you gave a few quiet ‘ooh’s as you both were still exiting oklahoma city, even if you guys were still a long way from tulsa, looking at all the bright lights and arrows urging future customers to visit the fair.

darry scoffed as he saw the pile of cars across the way, lining up in one big traffic jam. then he turned his head to look at you, he wondered how you could always be so optimistic. he smiled fondly to himself as he watched you, head held in your hands as the exotic lights bounced off your irises, reflecting all sorts of neon pinks and blues in your eyes as you didnt take them off the noisy attractions.

“be careful now darlin’, you’ll slip!” SODAPOP laughs as you two come down from the intense food fight you just had in the kitchen.

it all started with you accidentally dusting the counters a bit too hard when some flour landed on sodapop’s open plaid shirt. now you two were both covered in various ingredients, you’re sure the yolk would take about an hour to rinse out of your hair properly. the baking you guys were doing was forgotten in the background as the batter had probably already somewhat hardened during sodapop’s sugar assault on your favorite top.

you laughed as he held your waist, the both of you looking down at where your foot was just about to fall on the slippery remainder of egg yolk and milk on the kitchen floor. “that’s your mess!”

“you started it!”

“it was an accident, soda—!” sodapop placed a chaste kiss against your lips, licking his own after he pulled away. he made a small hum sound as his eyes trailed upward when he pretended to try to guess the flavor. “hm, strawberry.”

“gross.” you rolled your eyes, the two of you laughing uncontrollably as soda eventually did slip on the exact same piece of yolk he had warned you from stepping on. that is, until you heard the strong footsteps of his older brother make his way from the front door to the kitchen.

both of your heads shot up as darry cleared his throat, crossing his arms and tilting his head. it was like he had no words for the both of you, until he shook his head once and grumbled angrily.

“y’all better clean that up.”

“so i was just tellin’ her about it and y’know what this lady does?” you ranted to PONYBOY as he sat across from you at the lunch table, his fingers fiddling with the holes in the metal mesh patterned seat.

he held his chin in his palm as his eyes flickered between you and the table, watching as you rambled about something a counselor had reprimanded you for or something, all he could really focus on was you. the way your eyes lit up when you were passionate about something, the way talked with your hands a lot, or the way you bounced in your seat at just the thought of your favorite song.

pure energy always radiated off of you, not even dallas winston could resist your charm. and ponyboy curtis certainly couldn’t either.

“pony-y!” you dragged out the ‘y’ in his name as you tried to get his attention, waving a hand in front of his face. he blinked and furrowed his brows as he muttered out a quick, “huh?”

“are you even listenin’ to me?”

“‘course i am.”

“what was i talking about then?” you batted your eyelashes as you inquired in a ‘matter-of-fact’ tone, leaning forward as ponyboy averted your gaze.

his face got hot while he stammered, mouth gaping open and closed like a fish before you waved a hand at him and flashed a big grin.

“my counselor.” came your sing-song tone of voice from in front of him.

“right! just.. tell me more?”

“JOHNNY, wait up!” you called after him, jogging up and gripping onto the straps of your backpack as it moved with your every step.

you saw him, head hung low as he looked so small compared to the towering figure of dallas winston right next to him. he turned around, that same puppy dog look in his eyes as usual before he looked up at dallas. dally gave johnny a quick wink before nodding his head towards me and saying his goodbyes while he walked off only god knows where—probably to stir up some more trouble.

johnny looked back at you, muttering your name as you finally caught up to him. “hey—! you goin’ home?” you asked, shifting your weight from your hands to your knees as you hunched over and caught your breath. johnny just nodded as he watched you regain composure quickly, already back and energized.

you circled around him with a flurry of questions, questions like how his day was or if he ate today. johnny always wondered why you asked him these questions, whether you cared or not was really his main concern although he’d never dare ask.

once you guys had arrived to johnny’s house though, came a ruckus from inside. the noise traveling outside the house through a sliver of open window as you both saw two figures screaming at each other.

you saw as the corners of johnny’s mouth twitched downwards as he winced at the sound of glass breaking.

then, almost like an miracle came your voice from beside him.

“wanna go to the lot?”

once he had looked at you, it was like an instant mood lifter. you had a boyish grin on your face with your hands shoved in your pockets as your eyes crinkled with how big of a smile you had glued to your face, as usual.

how could johnny deny you?

“are you always like this?” DALLAS said as he leaned against the doorway to the kitchen, watching as you danced around and made a mess with the baking supplies.

“like what?” your voice, jubilant as ever, rung out in dally’s ears. he always played it off as if he hated how joyous it was, but if he was being honest, the way the syllables rolled so quickly off your tongue was satisfying to him. he’d never admit it obviously. being dallas winston was a tough job to keep up.

you twirled around, reaching on your tippy toes to grab something off the fridge before spinning back around to pour milk in the mixing bowl, hips swaying to the faint music that you turned down to hear dallas over.

dallas scoffed, shaking his head amusedly while he lit a cigarette, eyes flickering up at you every once in awhile. “nothin’.” he muttered, words muffled around his cigarette.

he looked at you, his eyes were empty enough that anybody else would mistake his expression for annoyance, but you knew better. you knew dallas winston better than anybody. and as you danced so freely around the kitchen, like no one was watching you, dallas admired you. you were yourself, in this moment socs and greasers didn’t matter, nothing did. the only thing that mattered to you was getting these ingredients right, and you couldn’t do that with a little dancing.

“woah, darlin’! someone had a li’l too much sugar, huh?” TWO-BIT laughed as you bounced around. you were like a candle waiting to be blown out, flowing in place but still moving. you were definitely still moving.

you practically vibrated in place, your feet kicked in your seat as you giggled, talking about your day to two-bit. his grey eyes watched you with intent, his own grin painted on his face. sometimes he didn’t pay attention, other times he asked questions just at the right times. even if it was just pure luck, you appreciated his responses even if they were just ‘huh’s or ‘oh!’s.

“what do you think?” you finally stopped ranting, taking a break to ask two-bit once again what he thought.

he paused, taking a second to sip on his can of beer before looking off to the side in thought. then, as quick as it left, his smile returned as he finally laughed.

“i think you need a nap, babydoll.”

“so what happened next?” STEVE asked, licking the spoon as he sat across from you in the diner as he watched you take a break from talking to devour a milkshake.

you smacked your lips as you swallowed and immediately put up your hand to express yourself further. “she cussed her out!”

steve raised his eyebrows as he broke off another piece of the diner’s famous cake—which he claimed was never better than darry’s yet he was still destroying it.

what you always appreciated about steve was his blind loyalty to you. even if he didn’t understand, his heart was in the right place. he gasped at anything dramatic, but he just loved gossip in general. him and sodapop were like kids around a campfire as they always circled around you while you explained to them the gossip going on around school.

steve watched as you rambled on and on, twirling your hair at certain parts and jumping up in your seat at important ones. by the time you both finished that conversation, your bill was racked up with how long you had took, and the waitresses were rolling your eyes at every “but, did you hear..”

that didn’t matter to you two, though. you just cared about talking to steve, and steve was too busy admiring you to care about anything else.

Warnings: marijuana use, swearing, a bit of self-insert, driving while high (but don't be this stupid irl), stoner phrases. bit of fluff.

A/N: I loved writing this, it was fun I felt like I got to put myself in a story yk. I based some of the behaviours and everything off of what I've experienced. and I wrote this stoned. had to.

“You got a lighter?" You rolled your eyes at the stupid question. He knew you didn't smoke so why would he ask you for a lighter?

You knocked your head to the side, your hand froze in mid-air with the remote resting in your palm as you paused the action of changing the channel just to stare at your boyfriend until he got the message but he was too busy sprinkling his shredded green bits inside the thin paper. He usually smoked backwoods but he was out so RAW papers would have to do today.

He quickly glanced up after noticing the time it was taking for you to answer. He looked to the side and looked back at you. "What?"

"You know I don't smoke."

He shrugged. "You know I do, so you should start carrying extra lighters." Your jaw dropped at his sassy response, you grabbed the pillow from under you and whacked him in the head with it, he sucked his teeth as a little bit of kush fell out of the paper and onto his rolling tray. "Really?" You poked out your bottom lip and batted your lashes. "Sorry baby, my brother probably has one in his room go look."

Oscar put everything back on the tray and placed the tray on the table, he rose from the couch and disappeared to go find what he was looking for. You looked down at the materials that were spread on his well-decorated tray, you look behind you and back at the table, the mischievous voice in your head telling you to just smell it at least.

You reached over and picked up a bud that he hadn't ground yet, assuming he'd save it for later, and held it to your nose you took a deep inhale and were immediately met with an earthy yet sweet and fruity smell-- almost like a dessert. You looked down at it, examining every piece of the bud, it was a mixture of colours such as green, a light brown and a small hint of yellow right where the stem was.

"What are you doing?" Oscar laughed having stood there long enough to see everything. You flinched placing the gram back where it was. "Nothing, just... inquisitive." You smartly answered. He bent his lips inward to hold his smile, he thought it was a bit cute you were curious. He'd been trying to get you to smoke with him but you continuously declined and he wasn't the type to force you to do something you didn't want.

He sat back down in his spot and resumed back to rolling, but once your interest peaked you couldn't let it go. Your head faced the television but your eyes cast to the side watching Oscar carefully wrap up his kush in this thin and almost fragile brown piece of paper, you liked watching him roll-- the way his big fingers suddenly became small and nimble in order to swaddle his precious baby tightly but then came the use of his tongue, leaving a little bit of paper so it could overlap and close everything. His tongue swiped across, getting it wet but not too much, he would gently fold it over, press down on it and done. It was ready to smoke.

"What's it like being high?" You asked. "Uh, it's like you're floating... sometimes you feel your body swaying even though you aren't actually moving. It could also depend on where you are when you're high." He informed. You bit your lip weighing your options, you'd been wonderous about this for a while but didn't know how to go about it, plus you were nervous you'd make an idiot out of yourself the first time.

Oscar noticed the look on your face and smiled. "You want to try it?"

You nodded your head. He looked out the window noticing orange slowly replacing the blue in the sky. "Aight, come on." He said placing the blunt behind his ear and the lighter in his pocket, he stood up and headed to your kitchen grabbing water bottles for the both of you. "Bring your bag too."

"Why?"

He made his way back over to you, bent down and placed a kiss on your forehead. "Because I want you to have a nice experience with this, we're not smoking here. Imma take you to the beach, but we gotta grab food and snacks first because you will get hungry." You squealed, you were lowkey excited about this. You changed into some shorts and a loose top, you grabbed your backpack and stuffed it with the water bottles a blanket and a little speaker just in case.

The two of you left the house and ventured off to find some food. You went to your usual spot and he picked up your usual orders. The drive to the beach didn't take long. Oscar parked in the lot and you guys left with your things. The place was scarce, which was for the greater good, maybe you wouldn't get too paranoid about other people staring at you.

Oscar led you down a little further away from the steps and a bit closer to the water. You spread a blanket on the sand and plopped everything on top of it. The cool breeze tickled your skin producing goosebumps on every surface. You watched as your boyfriend removed the blunt from its cozy spot and dug the lighter out of his pocket.

"You still sure about this?" He asked sparking a light. You nodded eagerly. He placed the tail end between his lips, he cupped his hand over the lighter so the wind wouldn't blow the spark out. Smoke emerged from the little shelter he created, that same earthy sent has become more pungent now that it was burning.

Oscar took the first pull, you noticed the thick cloud essentially disappear into his mouth— he puffed out his cheeks and blew out a thinner puff of smoke. He handed you the weed, you took it between your thumb and index finger as he had it. "You just have to inhale baby."

You nodded, copying his actions you placed it between your lips, you inhaled as much as your lungs could let you and held your breath. Oscar's eyebrows scrunched together. "Ma, you don't have to hold your breath, just inhale."

It was tickling your throat and not in a good way. You let out a loud and hoarse cough, you sounded like someone who'd been smoking cigarettes for thirty years. Oscar patted your back while you banged your palm against your chest. "Shit!" Cough. "What the fuck!"

"Drink some water." His voice was shaky trying his best to hold down his laugh. You handed back the blunt and reached into the bag for your water. "You wanna try again?" You put your finger up as you chugged the h2o. Once you felt like you were fine you responded with a yes.

Oscar took his time to explain what he meant by inhale, that to just smoke and blow was a waste of weed and you wouldn't get high off of that technique. Once you understood you took another swing at it. Pull, inhale, blow. You did it just like that and a quick flash of pride ran over Oscar's face. "Nice." He nudged, you handed it back to him and he took it between his fingers.

"So, when does it hit?" You asked. He chuckled. "Trust me, you'll know." And until then the both of you kept puffing and passing, enjoying the view of the water, the small waves running up to kiss the sand. You sighed contently, your body completely relaxed and loose. So relaxed you didn't feel the need to use your own strength to hold it up anymore so you decided to lay down on the blanket.

Oscar chuckled. "You good?" You nodded with a smile as wide as the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. Your lids felt so heavy... so tired. You struggled to keep them up, you looked over at Oscar who had been holding the last of the blunt in your direction for a while. The both of you are too stoned to mutter a word.

Your hand felt wonky and distorted as you accepted it. As you smoked Oscar dug through the bag for the other water bottle and the speaker. "You want me to play or you?"

"You." You answered way too lazy to even touch your phone though it was right next to you. Your eyes were laser-focused on the sky, you felt like you could see every detail of the clouds. So light and fluffy, colliding with one another and you wish you could touch them. Maybe you could.

Your arm extended to the sky, your hand gripping and releasing constantly you felt like you were touching them— they felt like cotton candy. Your daydream was interrupted by Oscar lightly smacking your hand down. "What are you doing?"

"I'm touching the clouds bitch."

"No, you're not." A brief moment of reality settled in and you were back on the ground, back on earth just watching those misshapen things float by in the orange sky. You looked down at the blunt and back over at Oscar. Both held a gaze until you two busted out laughing. "You are so fried." He chuckled. "Holy shit am I? Wow."

This feeling was different. You didn't feel like you, you felt like a passenger just enjoying the view and vibes while someone else drove. Your sense heightened, you could hear every flap of a bird's wing, every whoosh of the water. You could hear your own heating in your eardrum. "Are you high?" You asked taking one more drag before passing it back. "Finish it." He challenged, you shrugged and placed the butt end back between your lips. 

"I smoke a lot so it's not gonna hit me like it's hitting you. I'll smoke again soon." 

You nodded. You closed your eyes just taking this all in. The last puff of marijuana had left your throat while you smushed the end in the sand. Oscar was already working on his spliff because he didn't feel like smoking another big one. "I like flamingos," You randomly burst out. "They're so pink and pretty." Oscar snorted and shook his head. "I thought your favourite animals were penguins." 

"I love penguins." You giggled like an airhead. Oscar quickly finished his spliff and dusted off whatever was on his pants, he tucked behind his ear before moving closer and laying next to you. "How do you know so much about me?" You pouted feeling sentimental for some reason, and a sudden rush of overpouring love took over. He leaned down gently plopping his lips on yours, you could taste his neediness on your lips-- your tongues passing by, occasionally colliding. Why were you so hot all of a sudden? 

He pulled away and you pathetically whimpered for more. "Because I only study what I love." He wooed. You pinched his chin and rolled your eyes. "Well, I love you too." 

"Good." 

You sat up watching the sky become darker and darker, you looked out to the water and smiled. "I wanna live by the beach." 

Oscar glanced over at you with awe in his eyes. "Long as it's close to the restaurant I don't mind." You blushed at the fact he saw you in his future. The sound of the lighter flickering caught her attention. "Trynna go again?" 

You eagerly nodded. You let him take the first few hits while you bit into your burger tasting flavours you'd never experienced in your life, you hummed in satisfaction as you stuffed your mouth with the salty fries it came with. It tasted better when you were in this state. Oscar offered the last little bit and you gladly took it. 

His eyes matched yours, lids low with glossed-over red eyes. He looked so cute like that, that's why you liked being around him when he was high. "You good?" You asked, he nodded reaching for his own burger now. "I love food." He said. Your eyes disappeared as you smiled. You switched between smoking at eating until the spliff was done, you flicked it onto the sand and returned to the rest of your fries. 

The night sky had come in, it reflected off of the clear water, tides slowly dying down. You two had lay there not saying a word, just enjoying each other's company-- you didn't know if it was the weed dying out but you were suddenly tired, all you wanted to do was sleep. Had a few close calls too until Oscar nudged you. "How did your first time getting high go?" He asked. You kissed his chest and said. "Mmm, we should do this more often."

"Yeah?" He replied with a bit of excitement in his voice. "Yeah. Thanks for letting me try it." Oscar planted a kiss on your head. "Anytime, baby." 

"I'm as high as giraffe titties right now." You slurred. Oscar belly-laughed, all the things you were saying were just cute and hilarious to him. "Maybe we should take you home. Sleep this off." You groaned but agreed, you two packed up everything and Oscar held onto you as you stumbled behind him, your feet completely forgetting their job. He dropped you in the passenger's seat and buckled you in before heading to the driver's side. He rolled down the windows for some cool air, started the car and pulled out of the lot. 

The ride home was silent, other than the low music playing through the speakers. You were zoned out beyond belief as you leaned your head against the car. You had given up the fight, the drug was winning and you were floating off to sleep. Oscar looked over after hearing a few little snores, he laughed shaking his head. He'd never forget the day that his goodie-two-shoes ass girlfriend finally smoked some weed.

I think she'd be rather open to her risqué thoughts ngl. She loves fun, and teasing you certainly is one way to have it 🫶 if it's something extremely left field, then she'd either keep it to herself or gently bring it up to you. What I personally think she'd hide from you is the more romantic thoughts she's had from time to time; think like having a picnic, staying in for a nice cuddle....hell, she'd post smth about a hypothetical scenario in which you're able to shapeshift and you can nap with your partner that way 💀 like girl you are NOOOOOT SLICK

4 Years HHAtranslated

It's 15 April 2024, which means HHAtranslated turns 4 years old today 🫶🏼🥹

When I thought of starting this account pre-covid, I never expected it would turn into this. During lockdown, I had so much time and the nostalgia and my love for Anubis helped me through so much over the years.

So many accounts on Instagram, Tumblr and Twitter talk about this universe and it makes me so happy!

As there are four series and this is the fourth anniversary, I'd like to express my gratitude for each show.

Het Huis Anubis:

* HHA raised me as a kid and helped me through my struggles as a teen and now in my twenties

* Seeing the cast IRL in December was a dream come true and I still can't believe it happened 🥹

* I can't wait to see the EMDV vodcast of Anjali and Iris! They're teasing the date of the first episode online atm. I can't wait to unravel new truths 🤩

The Five of the Magical Sword:

* Such an overhated and underrated show in Belgium and the Netherlands, that I was scared to sub it. I'm glad I did, because international fans took Sterre, Pim, Marcel, Raphael and Anastacia into their hearts and didn't let them go 🫶🏼

* I also learned to appreciate the show a lot more

* I hope they've a reunion too

House of Anubis:

* HHA and HOA fans often butt heads and it's not necessary at all!

* Both shows are absolutely amazing

* HOA took the key elements of HHA and made it their own and I adore what they did with it. Some characters might have a different arc, but it makes them their own person and I love discovering the differences

* I need to rewatch the masterpiece that's season 3!

Das Haus Anubis:

* For some reason, DHA makes me hella nostalgic while I only discovered it in 2019

* The same sets and scripts make for fun comparisons and while DHA is a lower budget show, it's so much fun

* I love to watch DHA episode/day wise and I've rewatched it like that already often

* The cast is so involved still and it makes me very happy!

The future of HHAtranslated:

Now:

My main project for 2024 is the 9 Het Huis Anubis novels, based on the TV series and the movies.

The books are in third person, but follow Nienke's pov, throughout her stay at Anubis House. Some scenes are way more graphic than in the series, like Nienke and Noa's kidnapping.

The romance is also more present and we get new scenes which make Nienke's decisions more logical, like how she ended up in Anubis house with the grail mid-season 2.

I'm starting of with book 1: The Secret Club of the Old Willow

I'll try to upload frequently. I've less time as I work fulltime and live with my boyfriend, compared to university and living at my parents' years ago. A new blogpost will be created on my website, with links to the chapters, published in a Google Drive doc.

English isn't my first language so there will be mistakes. However, I hope to do the books justice like I hope I did the show.

You were laying in minori's lap after a hard day, you could finally visit your best friend and feel relaxed. Minori brushes your hair with her fingers and proceeds to talk about her day

"We had lots of fun today! Airi is teaching me this choreography of this one song i like! We're planning on-"

Minori pauses herself, wondering why you suddenly out a strand of her hair behind her hair

"Hm? You know i could do that myself right?" She says playfully, you smiled at her playfulness and began telling her how you feel, you werent sure why, you just did..

"Minori, i love you, more than friends.. hehe" y/n says playfully before falling asleep, leaving minori in a state of shock, confusion and happiness

"W-WHAAAT?! Y/N! WAKE UP! DONT J-JUST FALL ASLEEP!" Minori screams, shaking you to hopefully wake you up, she also wants to tell you that she feels the same way

Akito Shinonome

You just got home after school and the sun was begining to set, you sat on your bed playing your phone and doing nothing, you then decided to do your homework.

Once you opened your bag you see that your notebook was nowhere to be found, you panicked a bit, the deadline was tomorrow and the notebook was nowhere to be seen, you suddenly remembered that a certain close friend of yours borrowed it to take some notes, you then proceed to call him.

"Hey, kito.. where's my notebook? Do not tell me you left it at school..." You asked, you could hear akito groaning "chill i accidentally put it on my bag, ill just.. return it tomorow" he shruggs, you sighed in annoyance and began to tell him that you needed that notebook to finish some assigments.

"If you want that notebook then just, come to my place.. i mean.. we live pretty close right? Youre just.. right around the corner.." he suggested "what?! No way! Im not walking, you brought my notebook with you, you should be the one to return it.!" You fought back, making sure to emphasize your words.

"Well.. then im not giving it to you, bye" akito says in a sing-song voice "w-wait! Ugh.. fine ill get it.. dont copy my homework tomorow kay?" You added, akito groaned "fine, finee.."

After minutes of walking you knocked the door of the shinonome household, you were greeted with akito, wearing pajamas and carrying a bag of chips, he coughed when seeing you "o-oh you actually came.. yeah uh.. the notebooks right in my bag.. ill go get it" he responded when he left, you could see the tv playing, it was your favorite movie! When akito came back he saw you staring at the television.

"Hm? You know this show too? Hm.. wanna watch it with me?" He asks, before he knows it you were already inside his house watching the television. You wondered.. why werent his parents home? and where was his sister?

"Hey akito, wheres your dad? Or your sis?" You ask, akito simply shrugged and replied nonchalantly "my sister doing something at her room...probably drawing or talking to her friends.. my mom's out with her friends and my dad is staying late for work" you simply nodded and continued watching the movie, soon enough you found yourself falling asleep, akito doesnt notice this but begins to notice when it suddenly got too quiet..

"Hm.? Y/n you alright- oh hell no.." he mutters, you were sleeping peacefully, akito wants to wake you up.. but at the same time.. he doesnt afterall he did drag you out in the middle of the night just for you to get the notebook that he stole, akito sighs and puts a pillow below your head, he sighs and whispers ".. what did i get myself into.." you shuffle around and mutter quietly "mm.. like... You too... Kito.." you mutter, akito overhears this and instantly turns red.

"Y-YOU WHAT?!" He screams and instantly covers his mouth, you groaned a bit and continued sleeping, akito was surely thankful that you were a heavy sleeper. "Oh thank god..." He sighs with relief ".. i like you too dumbass.. took you long enough.." he says quietly with a tone of playfulness. He arranges your sleeping position so that your comfortable.

Bonus:

Akito sneakily took your phone and then took a pic of your sleeping face and sets it as your wallpaper "theyre gonna love it.." he grins mischievously, after hours you finally wake up, you grabbed your notebook and quietly leave the house, when you checked what time it is you went red with embarrassment it was a pic of yourself sleeping! You'll surely get him next time.!

i had such an amazing time in Cologne yesterday… i feel extremely hungover but it’s was so worth it.

it was so so nice to hang out with @echoes-of-mia again, you’re literally the chillest person ever irl and it was so fun to experience the concert with you :D 🫶

i met so many cool people while queueing (like the lovely @mogoce-nocoj who i got to talk with some more after the concert :D (even if i might have been a bit quiet, i was still processing the concert :P)), literally the best queue experience i’ve had compared to the other concerts i’ve been to (which were also nice!!! but i was a bit too shy to engage with people so i missed out a bit on the community aspect of queueing :<). i got so many cute bracelets and in turn got to give out a couple of mine :3. and i got some fucking beautiful stickers!!! the insanely pretty Kris sticker by the talented @autoantonyms and the stunning ASTP + Joker Out Köln stickers by @/vem.da.kris on Instagram!!!! so sad that the Dopamin fan project didn’t work out :( i really hoped they’d played it!!!

the concert itself was so so fun. before the show started, someone handed me those slay pose glasses and they’re so fucking cool??? and i also hastily traded some more bracelets inbetween the openers :D

also, wow, the stage design by @as-artrat-racik was so fucking beautiful in real life. i was genuinely floored by it!!!! and once the concert started, he first thing i noticed was everybody’s hair???? a bit random but Bojan’s hair looked super nice (like the length it’s at atm???) and omg, Nace mullet real????? + it’s impressive how long Kris’ hair has gotten again, compared to the last time i saw him on stage :0.

and i’m so glad i decided to abstain from listening to any recordings of any of the new songs because let me tell you, experiencing Šta Bih Ja live for the first time was a fucking religious experience. that song fucks so hard i need it injected into my veins IMMEDIATELY. and i love how they were peer pressured by the crowd to play Schlager even if it wasn’t planned LMAO. and it was such a pleasant surprise too! such a fun song which really reminded me a lot of some of Arctic Monkey’s calmer songs (like Mad Sounds). showed my recording of it to my mom earlier today and she said it might be her new favorite of theirs and that i should tell her once it’s out haha.

i love the incorporation of a keyboard in their shows now!!! Metulji with Jan on the keyboard was so nice, as was Everybody’s Waiting!! and i gotta say, i’m not a fan of EW but hearing it live was so so nice. i loved the staging of it all so much??? with it starting off by Bojan being all alone on stage, playing the keyboard and then slowly the others join him.. it was so awesome!!! never thought it would hit so differently live :0

the UM karaoke was so much fun and i heard so many lovely voices but i lost complete track of Bojan at some point 😭 he just vanished lmao.. also Sector 5 walked right past me??? i didn’t realize who they were at first and i just went ‘wait a sec those people look familiar’, so that was fun HAHA.

i got some merch after the concert and whew, that was maybe the most stressful part of the concert. poor Vita was the only one working at the merch stand and it was obvious that she was a bit stressed by the masses of people flocking to it :(. i love the shirt i got, even if i wanted to by the black tour shirt at first :D

i wish i could have given Nace the bracelet i made for him all the way back in June/July of last year (when i wasn’t even sure if id ever get to see JO live :’3) but it’s okay, ill be taking it as in excuse to see them live once again if i get the chance to 💪 (ill be earning my own money soon so that means i might be able to attend international gigs as well :D!) who knows what the future holds!

TLDR; I had an extremely fun time, Joker Out are so worth it to see live and there are so many amazing and talented fans out there, it blows me away every time. i’m really happy to be a part of this fandom <3

I was very lost when I was younger, and also a lot less sure of myself and a lot shyer? If that makes sense? I was so worried what people thought about me at all times, and then I would get upset that I cared so much. Now that I'm older I feel a lot more at peace and a lot happier with myself / more confident. These days, at least IRL I'm of the mind set that if you don't like me, that's a you problem not a me problem.

a life update from me — i’ve been having the time of my life (minus some burnout from work but we won’t talk about that because it still pays the bills very well and then some), and i have long trips to japan with my friend and to australia to visit ti and steph coming up 💕 i have a fun work trip and a keshi concert with my friends including moon next month !! and i have two music festivals lined up for the summer already !!! dpr is coming to hitc nyc and i’m so sad that i’ll be out of the country when it happens but fingers crossed they come for the LA one ! and my friend just texted me a couple days ago about another music festival she randomly got tickets to so vegas here we gooo 🥳 and possibly a second vegas trip too that my other friend brought up today ??? also the usual weekend trips to LA, of course 🤩 omg and i saw jisoo irl up close at their concert and she is beautiful, and i can’t wait for her solo 🥹🫶🏻🫶🏻 and i’m currently blonde 🤧 my hair is really going through it like i first dyed it all lavender, then silver, then blonde, then i chopped it mid length and dyed it pink, then pastel pink, now it’s blonde, and it’ll be rose gold in two weeks !!! also i made like $5k from my investments and stocks, and i’m so incredibly proud of myself even though i know it’s not much compared to others :’) and i bought a chanel bag to celebrate my career milestone when i was promoted last year and got a big raise and bonus !!!! 🥳 i found the one i wanted after checking shops over the span of five months in like 8 cities and 5 countries djjdjkskd OH and i still hang out with els and she is still very much in l*ve with taeyong and jaehyun 💞 also blind boxes, specifically sanrio ones, have taken a chokehold on me thanks to els, and i’m still playing genshin so gacha addiction go brrr

hihi art! im sorry if i’m rambling but i just wanted to come on here and thank you for all the drabbles and to not worry about having writers block! i really appreciate how much effort and though you put into the drabbles, especially with how you word oc and jk’s feelings in the stories! i still remember the first time i ever read your in which drabbles and it was on ao3, (i didn’t know tumblr existed at the time 😅😅) and when i finally got tumblr, you were the first person i added on tumblr bc i just fell in love with your writing. i wanted to say that even if i don’t know you irl and only know you through your writing, i know that you are an amazing person, and thank you for continuing the in which drabbles, while handling your personal life, there are a lot of fics that i got hooked on but in which is the fic that i will always come back to. i don’t think people (especially the haters) kind of understand how hard it is to constantly come up with a plot of a story, or figure out what characters will be in the story or their personality or how they act, or what type of genre the story can lead, and i love all of your stories and the way you write them gets me hooked everytime. but whenever i read the in which drabbles, i don’t know what to expect because i don’t know what the plot will be, but it always intrigues me and makes me hooked onto them. the way you write is so fascinating that it makes me wish that i was more educated on how to express myself through writing that beautifully, or even write a fic 😭. whenever you have writers block or need a break from writing, i hope you take that time for yourself without feeling guilty of not giving us drabbles, because i value your mental and physical health more than the drabbles. because where would we get drabbles if we don’t have our amazing art with us 🫶🏻🥺 also thank you for your time reading this ramble 😭

hey anon! i will use this ask as a continuation of my update post lol sorry if this gets a bit long

i am doing okay! i just finished the second week of my new semester, new roommate (good), new classes (mostly good), but still the same shit dorm and other shit things lol

love seeing the invasion of corn robots in my notes that's fun /s

but yeah. so.

i have been writing, but for a different fandom. i've slowly lost my muse in the boys and nothing against them i just haven't felt the motivation to do so since february. and as i said before that does not deter from me supporting new albums and music ofc. (i am so hype for kyungsoo's new album!! the song released today was great)

i have been slowly stopping posting on this blog, i don't know why, but i have. and i am still on tumblr, i'm just participating in a different community through a sideblog. and as i said you can message me or send an ask if u want to talk to me and i'll answer it, but again, posting will continue to slow. but i'll still lurk bc i'm cool.

and i still will support the boys as i said before, and i still love exo, but i am slowly shifting away from fandom generally partly bc of irl stuff and partly bc of depression lol. love life i guess.
