Today has so far been a comedy of errors and I am stressed.

My cat decided to follow me as I left for work. There is a main road at the bottom of the road I live on and there was a chance he'd follow me across so I had walk back home and get him inside.

Tried to pay for a scooter to walk but the payment wouldn't go through.

I lost one of the removable wings on my bat backpack.

The cable to my work hoover kept falling out.

I feel like my colleagues don't like me because I'm slow.

I feel like a failure and I just want to break down crying but I can't.

Everyone loves to say "you can do it, it may be difficult but nobody has ever found success without blood sweat and tears!!"

Still nobody really says what comes after, that it doesn't last. You fight to make it last but nothing lasts and in the end you'll find you were just chasing a ghost.

I really wish having to take one day off during the week for a medical appointment didn’t come with the expectation that I be there every other day even if I feel like crap.

I also wish my boss had enough empathy to ask me to take the rest of the day off because I can barely stand. Alas that is asking too much of her to see her employees as people instead of workers.
