There are good things in the world still

Today, I set a group of eggs to hatch in about 2 weeks. I am looking forward to more baby birds already.

Today, I received control of a website for an organization that I've been attending events for for the last 20 years, and I am looking forward to helping them improve after their quality went downhill because an asshole took over its presidency. I have hope!

Today I thawed the first bowl of chili from the big batch I made, and I was afraid it would not freeze/thaw with an acceptable texture, but it was just as delicious as the day I made the batch originally!

Today, I lost a button quail. Like it didn't die, it just flew out of the open cage and I had no idea where it went. After 20 minutes of searching, I looked up and saw him peeking over the ledge Bug loves to jump to. Watching me. Spying. He was recaptured successfully, and is fine!

I fell asleep damn but yeah, i managed to finish this last night for day 14! I was VERY into it; I didn't even start day 15 ;n; but this handsome demon was just too distracting I suppose, lol. I'm pretty happy with the outcome tho!

I love when I have to dog sit for my mum and the older dog (she is turning 16 in two months and generally tends to look like reanimated mediocre taxidermy) decides to have a 24 hour sleep cycle that consists of me going to fetch her every three hours to go to the bathroom and bribing her into accepting one (1) dental treat

I have to assume she completely exhausted herself by crying nonstop in a car for four hours the day before

But like. Does she HAVE to act so deeply suspicious that I am trying to assassinate her by poisoning her food

Sonic Murder Drones AU Masterlist

AU created by me and @cherbearsz with some other inputs from our friends :]

AU Summary: MDAU follows the same basic plot points as Murder Drones just with the Sonic Cast put in for different characters. Sonic, a worker drone, yearns for freedom outside of the bunker and builds a weapon to take out the disassembly drones that have been terrorizing them for as long as he can remember. Nothing goes according to plan and Sonic ends up becoming friends with one of the disassembly drones, Serial Designation C. Having inherited a rogue piece of code called the Absolute Solver, Sonic together with C and eventually R, need to figure out a way to stop Nine from destroying the planet before the Solver completely takes over Sonic’s body.

as someone who has just started volunteering in a big op shop 2 days a week.... if you're the type of person that just leaves a whole ass mountain of clothes strewn on the floor of a change-room and maybe haphazardly hung up on the wall or direct on the floor in front of the change room rack... I reserve my right to believe that I should be allowed to flay you alive when the purge happens. also this is playing in my head right after you have the audacity to do this and probably say to yourself that "well, it's their job anyway 😒🙄. why should i even try and bother to help them?"

however, if you're the type of person who honestly tries to rehang your clothes on the hanger and either puts them back correctly on the return rack at the change rooms.... or EVEN BETTER puts it back in the CORRECT clothes rack where you got it from (or at least you guessed where you got it from and say put it in size 8 when it's size 10 or something). I am passionately, earnestly, eagerly, ardently, caringly, wholeheartedly, tenderly, vigorously, etc, making out with you. with tongue. sloppy style. we can do anything else sloppy style too if you wish, king or queen.

I think this last time, maybe, I had a breakthrough. I faced my craving in all its terribleness. I didn’t block it out of my mind. I just felt the pain, day after day, for months on end until slowly it passed away. I think the next time I have a crush, if there is a next time, it won’t be so bad.

I can finally say good-bye to the girl I loved when I was ten. I can finally move towards something less about pleasure and pain.
