To tide everyone over (and to release a creative thought I had today), here are some design/dragon characteristic ideas for the X-Men and Reader in Claws and Fangs AU (the X-Men Evolution version, not Scales and Tails, the Animated Series one):

(X-Men Adults)

Charles Xavier/The Professor: has pale gray-green scales on his legs and some on his cheeks, has a tail that is long and graceful which is in his lap usually (does not have horns, claws, fangs or wings)

Ororo Munroe/Storm: has opalescent scales dotting her cheeks and forehead as well as her hands, has beautiful wings in white and gold that act as her cape and coat (has no tail, claws, fangs or horns)

Logan Howlett/Wolverine: has black scales lining his cheeks, arms, hands and legs, has a thick tail with a spiked end, has claws, has two horns that curl upward, has sharp fangs (has no wings)

Hank McCoy/Beast: has indigo and gray scales on his neck, arms, and legs, has a strong tail, has thick claws, has crushing fangs (no horns or wings)

(Brotherhood/Acolyte Adults)

Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto: has pale silvery scales across his forehead, cheeks, and hands, has strong gray wings that are bat-like, has two pale horns on his head that stick upright, has a thin silvery tail (has no claws or fangs)

Victor Creed/Sabretooth: has golden-brown and dark brown scales on his face, arms, legs, and hands and feet, has long claws, has a long dappled tail, has four horns that curve, has long, tusk-like fangs (has no wings)

Raven Darkholme/Mystique: has royal blue and vermillion scales on her forehead, back, arms, and legs, has small fangs, has a small crest of dark red horns (does not appear with wings or claws, but can grow them when taking on another form)

Scott Summers/Cyclops: has red-brown scales on his hands and around his eyes, has two short horns that poke through his hair (has no claws, tail, wings or fangs)
