As someone who's craving whb contents, i love ur scenarios so muchhhhhhh
I've seen the smol kings and it was so cute :33
Can i request the kings with smol mc, but maybe slight angsty because Mc lost their parents when they're young and stuff...
I'm so happy you find this entertaining, because I'm not going to stop lmao You're stuck with me. Poor things. Love you too
We've already had kings with a little shy MC, now it's time to see how they deal with a sad or crying one
We may say it's a little continuation of this request
Satan will let you cry if you want. Expressing emotions is healthy. He told himself that you can do whatever you want, even if it means yelling and snotting on his shirt. That doesn't mean he'll leave you alone; he'll hug you, and you can bury your face in his shoulder, covered with soft hair that smells like sunny cat fur. Safe and hidden from the whole world. If you're frustrated and want to beat him with your little fists, he's there for you, too. He understands your pain, as he also lost loved ones. Loses people every day in the war... he knows what it's like when your emotions control you more than you control them. Although you express it in a much less destructive way than he does. Maybe deep down, he envies you for being able to afford something like that.
Mammon will be very concerned. His little master is unhappy? Why, can he do something about it? Cuddled against a large chest and tucked into huge arms, you feel safe. But... unfortunately your pain doesn't come from outside, where Mammon can protect you, but from inside. He will rock you and try to gently distract you. He knows you very well. Whether it's a design show or just a playground, Mammon knows what you like and will take you there to cheer you up. And all his nobles will join him. You can count on hugs from Eligos and be carried in Valefor's arms, even Bimet will let you play and fly on his skulls.
Beelzebub, like Mammon, will try to comfort you, but in a less gentle way. Are you crying? These are definitely bad memories. He is also often tormented, and he has a way to deal with it. Break them down like soreness. You won't even have time to cry properly. Cuddled in his arms, you suddenly feel the strong smells of spices. Is this an Indian bazaar? Beel will grab vada pav for you and for himself, and while eating street food, you will watch how other snacks are prepared. A few moments later, you will find yourself in front of the coliseum, where you will watch an artist painting landscapes with sprays. (By the way, Italy, mafia, Beel feels at home here, don't let him into the fireworks stands.) Snowy Carpathians, mustangs on the prairies, atolls of coral reefs, when such a colorful kaleidoscope flashes before your eyes, you won't have time to cry. Beel will only breathe when you fall asleep in his arms. Even though he was entertaining and laughing with you the whole time, there was a boulder in his chest. Only passing tourists who see a handsome man with a child in his arms, sitting by the fireplace and staring into the flames, will be able to see that he is hunched over with worry.
Leviathan isn't the happiest when you're crying on his shoulder. You will see this, and you will want to run away from him, but he will grab you in his arms before you can. Who let you? It's better that no one sees you like this. Come. You will stay with him. He will wipe your tears with a tissue and tell you to blow your nose. Even if you are scared, over time, when you sit with him, you will realize that there is nothing to be afraid of. It's quiet and safe around. You won't even be warned for disturbing him at work. He will spend as much time with you as you need. But what will shock you the most... is his voice. He will walk with you in his arms and start humming softly. A voice more beautiful than an angel's, you will listen like a charm, although it is a purr quieter than a whisper. He simply did what he would like to receive if he were a crying child.

♡ Wearing Baggy Clothes Around SKZ {Chubby Babe Edition}♡
♡ I was asked to explore how these cuties might feel about having a girlfriend who wears baggy clothes 24/7 because it makes her comfy, not because she's insecure. So let's get into it... ♡
Pairing: ot8!boyfriend!skz x chubby!fem!reader
Genre: fluffy fluff ♡
♡ Bang Chan ♡
Your choice to wear baggy clothing isn't something he's ever given a second thought to
Duh, he thinks you have a beautiful body but it's 100% your choice if you want to show it off or not
It's actually really nice having a girlfriend who has the same fashion sense as him because he doesn't feel pressured to dress more revealing either
Whenever companies offer to send him free stuff he makes sure he asks for a size that works for both of you that way you have a few items that you can share/wear when you miss each other
♡ Hyunjin ♡
Being fashionable to him has never translated to having to wear tighter clothes so he still finds what you wear to be quite cute
When he goes to special events he likes to take you with him but he'll never get upset with you if you choose not to wear what's "in" at the moment
He puts a lot of effort into helping you pick out fashion week worthy outfits that keep you looking as gorgeous as you do without compromising comfort
If anyone ever says anything rude to you about it they're catching some major side eye from him coupled with some colorful language
♡ Changbin ♡
This is it. Dwaekki's chance to talk you into wearing matching gym clothes even when you aren't even kinda sorta heading to the gym that day
When I say matching, I mean matching. Whatever he has, you have the women's version of and it will be worn when you're together. I don't make the rules here
If you ever decide to change your mind about how you want to dress he'll support you 100% in rocking something tighter/more revealing
But he'll never pressure you into doing anything you don't want to do. The most important thing to him is that you're happy, whatever that looks like for you
♡ Lee Know ♡
Outfits that have too much going on agitate him when it comes to what his stylists put on him so he understands completely why you wouldn't want to deal with that
He pretends that he doesn't want to be touched around other people but he really likes cuddles and your clothes make cuddling better for him
Every time Soonie, Doongi, or Dori make biscuits on the dangling fabric of your clothing he thinks it's super adorable. Best cat step-mom ever
Has a habit of always rolling your sleeves/pants/etc up for you when you're about to do something that might be messy so that they fit snugly in the right places
♡ Felix ♡
At first, he asks a lot of questions to make sure that you aren't doing this because you're insecure about your body
It's not done to imply that you should be. He just wants to know if you are so that he can remind you more often that you're beautiful and that anyone who says otherwise can bite you
After that though, he lets it go and starts to do things like slipping into your hoodie with you even though there's no way he's getting his head out of the other end
Ultimately, he encourages you to go even bigger because how can he be properly attached to you at the hip if there isn't room for two all the time?
♡ Han ♡
This is absolutely going to turn into a lengthy conversation about how a lot of women in the old school hip hop scene chose to dress this way too
He's bound to get sidetracked talking about certain artists who wore things he thinks you'd look cute in. Some of it might be hideous. Just nod and smile
It's cool because he gets to be as physically affectionate as he wants to be with you in public without worrying that he'll make a wrong move and something slips out
The day will never come when it isn't adorable to him that you can curl up in your clothes like a lil cat. Just this cozy, warm ball of cuteness
♡ I.N ♡
It's in his spirit to take advantage of the fact that baggier clothes make you easier to grab
Meaning, if you try to run away when he's inevitably doing something to get on your nerves he'll catch you immediately and you'll be trapped with him
This isn't a bad thing because, even when he's torturing you, it's impossible not to see how much he cares about you
The other guys tend to tease him about how smitten he is with you and how cool he thinks you are but that'll never stop him from acting that way
♡ Seungmin ♡
Your face is what he spends most of his time staring at anyway so it's no big deal that you don't wear revealing clothing
It's kind of a good thing that you don't because he can be a real brat when other guys are staring at you and you aren't sure how long he can resist the urge to poke their eyes out
Of course, he can get over that jealousy so that you feel supported in switching it up sometimes
Though he will playfully tease you about being his "other girlfriend" when you switch back and forth because being a menace comes with the territory

HCs for Ciel as an older brother? Maybe a bit of r!Ciel added in please? :3
! Older Brother Ciel !
weheheheheh... i cant wait to see rciel in the anime if they continue making seasons. which im sure they will.
R!Ciel is named Riel.
You were born mere days before the tragedy regarding the Phantomhive name. You and your two older brothers were the only ones to have survived.
Unlike your brothers, you weren't sold off. You were far too young. Instead, you were left in the cold by some building. Fortunately, on one of her daily walks, Elizabeth had spotted you. She swiftly brought you back home.
The month had passed, Ciel returned home without his brother. You didn't know this. You were a month old, after all.
Months turn to years, you're now three. You had no prior knowledge regarding your other older brother.. until the brother you grew up with, Ciel, was abolished of his title from Riel's return.
You needed a guardian always. Riel tried convincing you to stay with him as the manor was far safer. You denied, and stayed with Ciel and Sebastian. Sebastian is, and has been, Ciel's guardian... so what's the difference?
Sebastian takes his orders literal. He was ordered to prioritize Ciel's life over anyone else's. He and Ciel got into fights more frequently whenever Sebastian protected him over you. So, you never left Ciel's side, even if you wanted to. You were almost always glued to him in some way.
Either you'd be on his lap, he'd be holding you, you'd be forced to hold his hand, whatever it may be. If Sebastian picked him up, you're being picked up too. If he's being changed, you will turn around and face the other way in the same room. Baths are no different. Ciel will always be in the room, eyes averted. If anything were to happen while you were bathed, he'd be swatting Sebastian away to scoop you up into a towel. Even if it hasn't happened yet, Ciel already thought about this stuff.
At some point, it became enough for you. You loved Ciel very much, you loved being by him, but this isn't clinginess anymore.. what can this be classified as?
You'd be coloring with him one day. Somehow, your art was far better than his. Then, it was bed time. The night prior, you were graduated from sleeping on your own with Ciel nearby, to sleeping with Ciel. Thanks, robbers.
Ciel was not a happy boy. You weren't either. You couldn't even cuddle your plushie properly, as you'd be facing his chest. Why? Because if you get shot, your organs wouldn't be facing the window. That's how much Ciel cares.
While cuddled up in his arms, you spoke. "I wanna sleep on my own."
Ciel understood, but not in the way you'd imagine. "I know, change is hard."
"No.. I want my own room."
That, he didn't understand. He looked at you like you were just playing and acting silly. He ruffled your hair with a faint smile. "You can't. You're with me." "I don't want to."
Ouch.
If anyone else had told him something as offensive as that, he'd get pissy. For some reason, this just hurt!
"..You have no choice. Riel took all of my money, silly." "Oh.." "Do you want to live with Riel?"
You were put on the spot, freezing up. You hesitated, but shook your head no. Not because you wanted to live with Riel, but rather because you just.. wanted some sort of privacy.
"Good," Ciel smiled, nose buried in your hair. "Just get some rest."
The moment Ciel fell asleep, Sebastian entered and replaced you with a pillow and allowed you some free time. He'd tuck you into bed with Ciel the moment you fell asleep. Ciel never noticed this happening throughout the days.
Your relationship with Ciel was complicated, sure, but you loved him. He loves you too, if that wasn't obvious enough.

Advice and tips on how to make your character feel more genuine/real
- Pettiness and shallowness. Obviously it can manifest in different ways, but IRL everyone has at least one or two little things that they're a bit surface level and "Just because!" about. Be it clothes, how they do certain rituals, what color m&ms they prefer ect ect. It can be little details or even major characteristics, and depending on which (and what) they are, it can be really telling about the character! Plus, it just adds a little extra depth and fun. Some examples including but not limited to: Being fussy over getting their clothes wet or dirty, only preferring some items because they look good, insisting on doing some action or tradition exactly a certain way, disliking an aspect of a thing or a person because they just don't like it, and so on. Obviously the big worldview points like morality and beliefs are very important, but when you've figured those out, take a moment to think about the smaller, everyday things your character feels about the world around them. No matter how good or wise a person is, they'll still always have some little thing that they can't give some profound noble answer to. Use this to your advantage to explore your character's shortcomings or flaws!
(In the same vein, Pet peeves is another detail that can flesh out a character!)
- How does your character perceive things? What do they notice about people first? How would they talk about, or describe another person to someone, if asked? How would they describe themself? And why? Just some things to consider. If your character maps out all the little details and deeply analyzes everything they see, it'll show in their interactions very differently than, for example, if they have the perception of a cabbage and are more oblivious than the love interest in a teen drama that the writers are stretching out for five seasons for no reason. Ykno.
- Additionally: what's their opinion of the people around them? Or if you've already mapped that out, what's their opinion of people they've never met before, or people who aren't in their immediate bubble, friends of friends, relatives of relatives, neighbours, or celebrities, mythical/historical figures and so on. Delve into hypotheticals sometimes, it can help you exercise your knowledge of the character. Even if none of these encounters or situations would happen in Canon.
- I'm sure you've already figured out what your character is most passionate about, ykno, whatever drives the story and impacts their relationships with other characters. But how about stuff they really don't care to think about? Just shrug? Not interesting? Doesn't pay attention to this? What is low on their priorities? It doesn't have to be negative (but can be!), it can just be "Meh", or something your character hasn't even noticed before, simply because it's not in their thoughtscape to think about.
- Does your character have any of those "What? I thought everyone did that/thought that/was like that!" - things? What do they take for granted, or weren't aware isn't a universal experience? Did they have a wildly different experience with something that most other characters hadn't even thought of? And yes I understand this is good for exploring trauma and other angsty things, but besides the obvious, think about maybe something that could be related to your character's species/living environment/abilities/opinions ect. This is great for exploring cultural differences, and anything that takes place in a fantasy setting. Very useful for villains and heroes alike! It's insightful. Everyone has small little perceptive differences or big and small thoughts that for some reason just haven't been properly challenged yet. Or brought up even. For whatever reason. Explore maybe what that reason could be, and figure out why it's been unchallenged for so long.
- Imperfections. Little divergences. It's fully possible to write a compelling and genuine feeling character using just archetypes, if you really explore them deeply. And whether you're doing that or not, think about the lines and molds you've set your character into, and let them spill out of them a little bit. Can be one huge aspect or one teensy detail, but make some diversion. Some crack in the picture. Doesn't have to be a flaw but can be! Just have some little aspects that set them apart and make the character themself. Get weird with it. Getting weird is one huge way you can truly make a character stand out and feel more unique and, oddly enough, genuine and real. Actual people have little oddities or things that don't line up with everything else about their person. And again it doesn't necessarily have to be anything big or shocking, in fact I'd argue it's even better if sometimes it's just a small, very ordinary, humanizing detail. Maybe unexpected, or maybe just something that doesn't factor into the surface image your character has. Think about characters similar to yours that you see often. What traits do they all share, or most usually have? Think about the kinds of people your character is inspired by. What are they often like? Make a diversion from that. Make multiple even? It can be the most random thing but think about it, even if you threw a dart at a wall of sticky notes, really chew out what this little thing says about your character. And focus on little cracks, imperfections, diversions and other odd details of your character. Over time they can grow bigger, or maybe not.
- Keep a clear picture of who your character is. Sounds obvious but I'll elaborate. Your character will obviously change and develop over the time you're working on them and whatever story events take place but I think it's very important to keep in mind who they fundamentally are. Basically I'm saying that try to keep them in character, yes even if you did drastic character development, you can still show that it's the same person in other ways even if one of their core traits was flipped. Be aware of what things will never change about your character no matter what they'd go through. Keep some consistency. Consistency matters alot in making a character seem genuine and, ykno, a good character. Even if that consistent trait is that they're inconsistent! The character can be that, yes, but as their creator, you should still keep sights of what's consistent for this character, you feel? If your character is a glunk of slime that slips out of it's container constantly and subsequently molds into whatever situation it gets put in, that's not really a character, that's.. Idk, plot device..? I know this may sound contradicting to my previous point but I fully think that, and this one can and should coexist.
You need to simultaneously be aware of the ways your character will differ from something and be fluid, and the ways your character will not bend, and cannot become. It's simply a matter of knowing their boundaries and restrictions, knowing which way they can lean and which way not. Obviously this'll be up to you as their creator, bc yeah you're allowed to drastically edit your character if you feel like it's for the better, but try to commit to that change then. Don't let the character slip from your hands, or let the story bend them into whatever shape it needs to make the plot go forward. Your character, and more importantly you, should be in control of that.
I emphasize the point of you controlling your character and not the other way around also. I've seen some character owners slip into "Well it's just what the character would do! I can't help it, it'd be out of character if they didn't do x!" even if the thing is completely awful, doesn't fit, or would ruin an aspect of the story. A smart writer will know how to work with your character's traits in a way that prevents them from running off the tracks and becoming their own little gremlin, while also complying with the story. Respect your character's.. Character, while also respecting yourself and the point of the story. This is even more crucial if it's a roleplay character, by the way..
I'm just saying, find ways to write the story in cooperation with your character. That means knowing what situations to avoid and which ones to steer for, in order to keep your character functioning with the plot and other characters. Sometimes you simply have to prevent some event from happening, or some characters from ever meeting, for the sole reason that it wouldn't make the story work the way it should. Or the way you want it to. You hold the pencil, be aware of what that means

hi everyone! I've gotten several requests to make a tutorial on how to make gifs for someone just starting out and I finally got around to slapping a tutorial together.
This tutorial will cover:
software recommendations
choosing what to gif
creating a gif step by step with probably a lot of unnecessary detail
some tips and tricks:)
(This particular tutorial will not cover how to find tv and movies to download and gif, or any specific instructions on coloring. only the basic gif making process.)
so for the purposes of this tutorial, we will be using Adobe Photoshop, which is the most common program for making gifs, and the one I recommend. the version you have doesn't make a major difference in terms of capabilities but the interface may be slightly different looking if you have an older version or a different type of device. you cannot make or edit gifs in any mobile version of the photoshop application. Optionally, we will also be using Adobe Premiere Rush/Pro or another video editing software of your choice. wherever you are downloading Photoshop, whether from Adobe or a third party, you should easily be able to acquire Premiere as well. I am aiming to be as detailed as possible in this tutorial, so it may sound more time consuming than it really is. once you get the hang of things, it goes fast. the most time consuming part by far is the editing and coloring. in my opinion, one thing that majorly saves time while giffing is knowing your keyboard shortcuts and using your mouse/trackpad as little as possible. I will be going over these in this tutorial as well.
before we begin, some general tips:
gifs of single shots that do not cut between angles or subjects generally will look the best, barring exceptions
for a single gif set, choosing scenes and shots with similar lighting will be easiest to get to look uniform when compiled together, since editing wildly different looking scenes to have similar coloring and lighting is hard and takes some practice!
avoid shots that will require you to majorly crop or zoom to properly frame the subject, as this will greatly diminish quality
speaking of quality, gifs will look best using 1080p video, but you can get away with 720p as well. I would not recommend giffing with anything lower resolution than that
Tumblr's upload capacity for image and gif files is 10mb. be sure when exporting your finished gif that it is under that size. if it is a bit over, you can try trimming a few frames off your gif in the video timeline.
if you get frustrated, don't give up! giffing is hard and complicated especially if you are new to photoshop. I tried to make this tutorial as detailed as possible so it's easy to understand (although im sure I still forgot some stuff)
ok onto the tutorial!!!
STEP ONE: choose what range of frames you want to gif, and how.
once you have decided what you want to gif, there are two main way to convert your episode into a range of frames to make into a gif. the first is by screencapping. this involves downloading a program like mplayer or vlc which can be used to convert video files into "stacks" of screencaps, which can then be separated into whatever range of frames you want and imported into photoshop. this is seemingly by far the most common method I have seen amongst gifmakers*, but personally I don't care for it and I think it's more confusing and time consuming overall, so I will be explaining the second method: importing video frames to layers.
now, normally what this would mean is opening the full episode in photoshop and using the pathetic little playheads on either end of the scrub bar to trim the file into a clip. this is where your video editing software comes into play.
open whatever episode or movie you want to gif in your program. if it is a large file like a long movie in 1080p, this may take a few seconds. like I said, I am using Premiere Rush. I will be using a random episode of 9-1-1 for my example gif.
in your media browser, hover over whichever episode you want (you can also just add the whole episode to your project and scrub through, but that can take longer unless you know what time stamp you're after). click the fullscreen button by the bottom righthand corner.
now you can scrub through and trim the episode before you even import it to premiere. this makes trimming your clip even easier.
use the trim bar (yellow outlines) to trim as close as you can around the scene you want to gif.
then click this plus, and then "add" below. this will add the clip to your project.
now, move the blue playhead up to the frame you want your gif to start on. then, use the scissors button off to the left to slice the clip. select the portion before the playhead, and delete it.
now move the playhead to where you want the gif to stop. a good length for most gifs is around 1.5-2 seconds in my opinion. some may be shorter depending on how long the shot is, or longer if you plan on making them smaller (remember, the uploading capacity on Tumblr is 10mb per file.) trim again, now delete the portion after the playhead. you can also use the left and right arrows beside the play button to move frame by frame, and you can adjust the side of the horizontal scroll bar below your clip to “zoom” in on it and make scrubbing easier.
once you have your clip, go up to where it says "share". your clip will be rendered, and then you can click export to save it.
repeat step one as many times as you want for each gif. I know this may sound complicated, but like I said above once you get in the rhythm this step takes only a few seconds.
STEP TWO: create your gif!
close premiere. open photoshop. head to the control bar at the top. select file > import > import video frames to layers.
navigate to whatever folder you exported your clip to. select it, and hit enter. a second popup will appear asking you to select your range of frames. since you have already trimmed your clip to your liking, simply hit enter a second time.
now your screen looks like this, and we are going to crop and resize our gif! (troubleshooting: if you do not see the timeline bar at the bottom, select window from the control bar, scroll down, and make sure timeline is selected as part of your workspace. Adjustments and layers should be there automatically but if not add them too).
Tumblr posts are 540px wide, so in order to make my gifs as small as possible while maintaining quality, I typically crop my gifs to be around 550-600px wide, with varying heights depending on what shape I want the gif to be. experiment with this a little and decide what works for you. just don't make the width lower than 540px. once you have the portion of the frame you want inside the cropping grid, hit enter again. sometimes you have to hit it twice.
here are the measurements I am using for this gif
now in your timeline, select frame 1. hold down the shift key and scroll to the end to select the very last frame, thereby highlighting them all. from here we will edit our frame delay rate. photoshop will automatically set it to .03s, which will make your finished gif awkwardly fast. I typically use .05s, or .06s if I want a gif to be subtly slower (this comes in handy if the shot you are trying to gif is very short). anything longer than .06s will look weird though. choose "other" from this menu and type in your delay rate. make sure not to miss the zero after the decimal.
once you've set your frame rate, go to the other end of your timeline and click here to convert your frames into a video timeline.
then press option + command + A (on Mac) or windows + alt + A (on PC) to select all layers. then right click (control + click with a trackpad) on any one of the highlighted layers in your layers tab off to the right. scroll down in the popup menu and select Convert to Smart Object.
THAT'S IT!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! WE HAVE GIF!!!
from here comes the fun part!! you will begin adding action filters like sharpening as well as adjustment layers to color and edit your gif. experiment with different adjustments and styles until you find something you like. too many adjustment layers will up the size of the finished gif though, so I tend to keep mine to 3-4 layers max unless its a really hard to color scene. if anyone is interested in a separate coloring tutorial, please let me know!
once you are finished editing your gif, click file > export > save for web (legacy) OR hit shift + option + command + S. play your gif in the export window to make sure it looks okay, and then hit save!
I hope you guys find this helpful and informative! please hit up my in box if you have any questions or if anything doesn't make sense. happy giffing!!!
*one reason people seem to prefer screencapping to this method, is saving all the individual clips as video files does take up a lot of space on your scratch drive, which in turn can cause your computer to work slowly or crash programs. this can be rectified by making sure to delete the clips from your computer once you are done making the gifs. another space hoarder to look out for is the proxy files of your episodes that will be automatically saved to your hard drive whenever you add an episode to your project in Premiere. Periodically, go through your storage and delete all the .proxy video files. this will not delete the original episode files, only the proxy files created by Premiere.

A Little Catching Up
Written for Hermit-a-day-May, day 12: Friends of Hermits. Or: Lizzie! ALSO written for @flashfictionfridayofficial prompt 252, "Spill The Tea"
Wc: 1000
Ao3: Here!
It’d been a while since Lizzie last saw her husband in person, since he joined Hermitcraft. Good. That meant she was able to focus on other stuff that was on her mind. And it’s not like they never spoke, anyway.
At first, they called every day, but now it was every week or so, and every time she did, he had another story to tell. Apparently, there was something about… clones of himself? A murder mystery? A murder mystery about the clones of himself? Honestly, she stopped trying to disentangle that thing. She was happy not understanding and just hearing her husband ramble.
And then, Joel got the idea of traveling together in his brain — ‘To get some inspiration for my base, Lizzie’ — and she was more than willing to indulge him.
It was nice, getting to catch up properly, to spend some time together, before they each had to go to their respective servers. It was a much needed trip, and they got to see some very wonderful builds. She may not be pulling inspiration from it for her own creations, but she’d be lying if she said seeing all the views didn’t revitalize her a little.
It’d been less than a week since they parted ways and Lizzie was boiling a pot of tea when her phone rang. It was Joel.
“Hey babe,” she greeted, bringing the phone to her ear.
“Hey Lizzie, what are you doing right now?” He spoke very fast. “Because I want to tell you something weird and don’t want you to break something.”
“Eh, nothing special,” she said, and with her phone now supported by her shoulder, she picked up the kettle before it could whistle. “Hit me with it.”
“Remember how I told you Etho was obsessed with me?”
“Uh, duh.” She began pouring the liquid into her cup.
“Well, apparently there’s someone worse.”
“That’s possible?” She asked sarcastically. “Wow.”
“Lizzie. I came back to like seven love letters addressed to me, Lizzie. Seven anonymous love letters!”
Lizzie choked and her grip on the kettle got unsteady. It spilled a bit around the cup. “Oh, crap.” It could’ve fallen on her.
“I know, what the hell! And the worst part is, he was convinced we had something going on, because someone left a sign on his base pretending to be me!”
She openly laughed now, and set the kettle with a clank before the boiling water could drop on her. He continued his pleas.
“I’m married, Lizzie! To you! And when I told him I didn’t want anything to do with him that way, he sent me a poem. A poem, Lizzie!”
Lizzie was delighted. She picked the mug with both hands and walked to the living room with it as he spoke.
“Did he, now?” She sat back onto her favorite armchair and set the mug on the side table.
“And now!” He was quickly growing agitated. Not in a negative way. Joels needed some agitation for enrichment. An agitated Joel was a sign of a healthy husband. “The context is too complicated to explain, but now I’m stuck having to make an armor stand –”
“Oh, armor stands! Your shrine for me was adorable. And little you! Oh I could just squish his cheeks.”
“...Thank you Lizzie. Right. Now I have to make an armor stand of myself professing my love to him or whatever so he leaves me alone.”
“Ha! Oh Joel, only you.”
“Only me? Lizzie, have some compassion. I’m dying over here!”
“I don’t know…” She brought the mug to her face and checked the color. Still a couple more minutes before she could drink it. “That seems like a Joel problem to me.”
He groaned, and she could just imagine him covering his face with his hands in frustration. She loved seeing him suffer.
“Right, the worst wife. She doesn’t listen to my suffering. I’m doomed. I’m in pain and she doesn’t empathize.”
She laughed again. “Well, if I’m so horrible of a wife, I think it’s time to go, now! My tea will be ready any minute now.” And with the most cheerful of tones. “Bye Joel! Good luck with the number one fan!”
There was a little moment of silence, and when Joel spoke again, it was like he was a different person. All the acceleration left his voice and who remained was the man she’d know for most of her life, who she would take strolls along the beach with, who proposed to her, who she spent a wonderful time with on their most recent trip.
“Bye babe. It was nice talking to you. It’s… it’s been a strange few days. I think the trip made me realize how much I missed you.”
She melted a little and didn’t try to hide it in her voice. “Oh, Joel. I can imagine. I miss you too. It’s been three months now, since you joined. Can you believe that?”
“And yet it sometimes feels like the first week. Like I’m still very new to it all. It’s so strange. How has time passed that fast but also so slow?”
“Something only the ruler of Stratos would know.”
“What- that… doesn’t make any sense. Why would I from-”
“I love you Joel.”
“Love you too, Lizzie. Right, I have some projects to be working on. Not the stupid statue. I’ll postpone that as much as possible. Maybe one day I can sneak you in so you could see how my base is coming along. See how the trip has helped me”
“I would like that. Just be careful of Xisuma noticing me!”
“Don’t worry, I’ll bring you in when he’s offline. Okay, bye now.”
“Bye!”
And like that, she ended the call.
It truly was nice to see him having fun on his new server and making new friends. If unwanted love letters counted as a new friend. She chuckled to herself. The situations that man got himself into, sometimes…
But she loved him all the same.

Hii hiii moreeee scenarios aaaaaahhh what are your thoughts on woozi's s/o being independent and a workaholic like woozi? like the members tease him that she is his karma in terms of overworking hahahaha and maybe woozi clinging or whining that she is also a workaholic
woozi with a workaholic partner! ✧˖°.
this is so cute
it's past midnight already, so woozi saves his work and leaves his studio, headed straight to your home!
when he gets there, he walks over to your room to see you're not even there!
instead, he notices how colored lights and soft music is coming from underneath your office room door (imagine you have your own office in your house)
he knocks on the door before walking in
and you're seated at the desk, typing into your keyboard
"hey, i'm home," he says, and you swiftly turn to look at him, sparing him a smile before going back to your work
"welcome home, ji"
"you're still working? it's almost 1am," he says, pulling up a seat to sit next to you
"yep, still busy," you say, sorting through the things on your monitor
"maybe we should head to bed?" he suggests slowly, pouting his lips.
"you can go ahead. i'm not done with this yet," you smile, not parting your eye contact you have with the monitor
he kind of sits there and looks at you, amazed
he contemplates in his head
he wants to be an understanding boyfriend who lets you do whatever you want, whenever you want
but also... a part of him wants to drag you to bed because he doesn't want to go to sleep alone after his long day of work
"y/n, i think you should call it a night..," he says slowly, kind of dragging out his words
"i still have to get through all of these tasks, i'm sorry," you say, turning to look at him
you give him a kiss on the cheek before going back to your thing
he thinks about how you're such a workaholic
he wonders "is this what the members think of me?" and "am i like this a lot?"
he looks around your well decorated office before turning over to you again
he gets up from his seat and walks over to the door, but before his hand reaches the knob, he tilts his head and then turns back around
"have you eaten?" he asks, walking towards you again
"yeah, some snacks," you say, pointing to the wrappers and soda cans you have in your trashcan
"have you eaten properly?" he asks, but feels the need to stop himself
who is he to scold you about this stuff when he doesn't take that good care of himself either?
"i'm not that hungry," you say, turning to look at him. "i've been drinking lots of water like you requested the other day, though."
he nods, looking at you
"are you going to bed now?" you ask, not turning back to your work just yet
"no, i'll just wait for you," he says, pursing his lips
"you really don't have to-"
"come on, let's go to bed togetherrr," he almost whines, which catches you off guard
you look at him, your eyes wide and your eyebrows furrowed
"are you... whining?" you say quietly, almost laughing
"i'm going to bed alone. goodnight," he says, walking to the door
but he stops again
he really wants you to go to bed with him
he walks over to you
picks you up (if you're not comfortable with that, he'll just firmly grab your forearm so you'll follow him)
and drags you over to your bedroom where he places you on your bed
"yah, i didn't even get to save my work," you say, in complete disbelief
"it's time for bed," he says, tucking you into your side of the bed underneath the blankets
he walks over to his side and gets into the bed, pulling you so your head is resting on his chest
"you work too much, y/n," he says, scoffing
"me? working too much? that's crazy coming from you," you smirk, relaxing into him
"take breaks sometimes. let's both not be workaholics sometimes. plus, don't let me go to bed alone," he says the last part quietly, almost sarcastically, but you know he means it
thank you so much for requesting, anon! feel free to request many, many more things from me ✧( ु•⌄• )◞◟( •⌄• ू )✧
(p.s. requests are still open! i specialize in woozi stuff, but i don't mind writing about other svt members! i can also do some nsfw if you want! so request whatever and as much as you want! ς(>‿<.))

Free Numby Sewing Pattern!
This is a collaboration with Hologramo (Instagram and Etsy) and is of moderate difficulty, intended for people with some understanding of sewing patterns, fabric grain, etc. The pattern can be used for a plushie or for the muppet-style puppet shown above!
FABRIC: I used shiny performance stretch fabric for all elements except the shell, which I made from white cotton knit and heat transfer vinyl. Fleece also worked well in testing, so minky and other similar fabric should work as well. I do NOT recommend cotton weave (muslin, quilting cotton, etc) because that test was much too rigid for my purposes as a muppet. You'll need about 3/4ths of a yard of black fabric, 1/2 yard of white, and 1/3 yard of gold and purple each.
STUFFING: If you're doing a plushie, you will only need Polyfill or other stuffing, but if you're doing a puppet I used a bit of Polyfill for the throat/ears/legs plus upholstery foam in 1/4 inch and 1 inch thicknesses.
The pattern:
Scale the above image to whatever size you need (Paint, not Paint 3D is an easy tool to print at 150% size or more) and print it out on your computer. (Mine I think scaled to six pages?) Cut out each piece, taping pieces that printed on multiple pages together, and lay it as so on FOLDED FABRIC with the salvage edge at the bottom of the image.
Cut out each of the shapes above (giving you two mirrored pieces of fabric) and a second set of two for the teeth and ears. You'll also want a second set of shell fabric if you're making this a puppet or want more dimension in the back.
Side, belly, and both legs should be in black fabric, teeth and ears should be in gold, and shell should be white.
THE BODY
Begin to line up the seams by matching up the colored lines - deep blue is where the belly and the side meet, for example - with the right sides (the pretty sides) of the fabric together. I recommend sewing the front and back pieces of each leg together first (leaving the large hole at the top) then one belly to one side as illustrated below (rough sketch).
Now, you'll want to ease the front and back legs into the green and blue holes illustrated above. You might need to just barely snip along the fabric of the legs, or gather them, but the end result should give you legs that are not quite flat. If you're having trouble, I recommend watching a tutorial on sewing puffed sleeves - it's a very similar process.
With your arms sewn in, you can now sew the two belly seams together! Leave a large gap in the center of the belly (between the legs) if you're making a puppet - this is where your hand will go.
PUPPET STEPS ONLY: Now is when you will need to stuff the legs! Fill with Polyfill or other fluffy stuffing to the desired density, then cut a circle of scrap fabric and sew it on the other side of the leg hole to stop the stuffing from slipping out. You need to do this to keep the body cavity empty, while also ensuring the legs look properly filled. Here is a picture of what the 'bottom half' of Puppet!Numby looked like with his legs fluffed:
The white are the circles of scrap fabric that keep the leg fluff contained.
You can do the ears and teeth now, too; just put two mirrors pieces together, right sides together, sew most of the way through then turn inside out. I stuffed my teeth with upholstery foam cut into pyramid-like shapes and my ears with a front piece of 1/4 inch foam and backed with Polyfill, but it's up to you how to do these. Set the teeth and ears aside for now.
THE SHELL
The reason I did the white shell in cotton was because I wanted to iron on the decals for Numby, and polyester glitter stretch does not want to take HTV (heat transfer vinyl) very well. Sew the two pink seams on the back together, leaving the keyhole open.
Sew your shell pieces together first, then make your HTV pattern of it of paper and make sure things line up. Unfortunately, due to image limits on Tumblr (and losing the pattern pieces) I can't put the pattern for his markings here. Iron on the decals (on one shell side, if you cut out two sets) before moving to the next step!
PUPPET STEPS ONLY: Now is when you make your first cut with foam! Cut two pieces of the back pattern in 1/4 inch thick upholstery foam and glue the two middle seams together at an angle so that the foam forms an arched/dome shape. (Mine looked like a horseshoe crab.) I used the E6000 fabric glue. Trim any sharp edges smooth, then use the foam as a 'filling' for a sandwich of the shell pieces. If you need more advice on working with foam, I recommend looking up fur suit head tutorials or videos from drag queens discussing how to make padding. You need foam, not Polyfill, to make a shape that holds together when the body cavity is empty.
THE FILLING
If this is just a plushie, now is when you can sew most of the shell to the lower half of the body, add the teeth and the ears, and stuff like most any plushie. For the puppet though... your work is just starting.
If you want to make this a puppet, you'll need to make a mouth out of cardboard with a scored hinge, and straps for your fingers and thumb out of duct tape. There's tutorials elsewhere for how to make a Muppet-style puppet elsewhere and this is already HILARIOUSLY long, so check those out. I recommend adding a little narrow piece of cardboard on the top, just past where the pads of your fingers sit, to help 'grip' the puppet mouth when manipulating it. This can just be taped on.
Once the mouth is assembled, sew 3/4th of one side of the shell to one side of the belly/side piece we made earlier, leaving space but the nose for the mouth to be glued in. It'll look almost like a clam, with the white shell piece as the top hinge and the belly/side/legs as the bottom hinge. Cut a ~5 inch wide strip of your 1 inch thick foam and form a large 'ring' inside Numby right around where his front legs sit. It needs to be a continuous piece because we'll be relying on the tension of the foam wanting to lay flat but being forced into a ring to give us structure. Trim the sharp edges, glue the ends together, and pin the legs to the foam to help it dry in place.
Above is an image of me grabbing the foam circle - note that the 'throat' and 'belly' are totally empty.
Use more foam to fill out the sides of the puppet, again placing the pieces behind the legs to coax them to stick out. I also put a little bit of foam under Numby's chin where the fabric sticks out - glue that piece to the cardboard just past where your thumb rests on the lower jaw mechanisms. Hand-sew the other side but leave the snout open. Below are some more photos of the hollow inside, showing the upholstery foam (white and green)
For the ears on the puppet, I cut a single long piece of heavy-gauge wire I had laying around into a U shape, carefully bending the cut ends so that they were no longer sharp. Cut tiny slits in the white shell fabric at the front of where you want your ears to sit. Thread this wire into one ear, then through the hole in the shell. Glue/tape the bend of the U to the outside top part of the cardboard jaw, then repeat on the other side with the other ear.
Handsew the ears to the white shell, the teeth to the lower jaw of the puppet, and attach the puppet mouth to both top and bottom. Glue on the purple fabric to the ears and the inside of the mouth, and there you go!
Please feel free to reach out with questions! Happy sewing!

Hello Ryu!! I hope you're having a great...whatever time it is for you! And I hope you're taking care of yourself! Your posts are one of the highlights of my day! No matter if they're art or replies.
And um, if it's ok, idk how we ask this, but would you put that recent-ish Skully fanart on your Ko-fi please? The one with the pumpkin? I hope I'm not being rude. I adore your fanart. And Skully. And Skully in your art style.
Anyway you're one of my fave fanartists! Have a great rest of the day!
Anon, this is so incredibly sweet, thank you so much! I am very happy to hear that you enjoy this blog and that it makes your day a little better. It truly means a lot.
To answer your question: YES, ABSOLUTELY, I just added it to the shop!! I am extremely happy to hear that you liked that drawing!
Also just in case: you are not being rude! I don’t update the shop very often because I am not sure if people are interested in new high-res pngs, so you expressing that you’d like to have it is super helpful. So if you ever want me to put anything else there, just let me know in any way you want – an ask, a DM, anything.

OOh LOVE the new theme and pfp! 💚
I really adore how you do colors and lighting! So pretty~

OH GOD! A LAYOUT CHANGE!
How Shocking, How Scandalizing... I fear I may never recover!
Hehe thank youuuu~ I’m glad to hear you like it! >:3c It’s Sebastian 2.0!
Katsu suddenly suggested to redraw the pfp, so I did it, and we updated the layout a little bit to match it. I don’t recognise myself in our feed anymore lol

Thank you for answering my ask! For me personally it’s that past experiences has made my relationship with anything nsfw or sexual very very confusing and emotional, but I don’t wanna be like this forever. I think maybe art could be a good way to try and sort through it but it feels hard to start. I think part of what you said could be the start though, that it doesn’t have to be anything big or even show genitalia.
Thank you very much! -💜🌹
(this is related to this post)
No problem, Anon!
I understand what you mean; your past experiences could make you very hesitant to do things even if you really want to do them and they are not harmful to anyone, or to have bad associations and even triggers. Figuring out your level of comfort also could be more difficult if you are still influenced by the consequences of those past experiences… Still, I think it’s wonderful that you want to work on that and to make yourself feel better and more comfortable, to clear things up for yourself – I don’t doubt for a moment that you will be able to handle it, even if it takes time.
Starting with little steps is great I think, it’s like dipping your toes before diving in.
I wish you all the luck and patience in the world.

Yeah… a regular stroke and a heatstroke! That’s too much for a poor mermaid’s heart :”(
Anonymous asked:
I need Che'nya to screw Riddle til he's drooling and whining. A little fun to de-stress. I wish there was more stuff about them ;-;
Anon you are so right, there really is almost no stuff with these two!! Such a shame!!
Like you said, Che’nya would be great for Riddle in terms of de-stress. Sometimes this boy needs to get fucked until he can’t even stand and speak properly anymore…
I should draw them at some point, sigh.
Anonymous asked:
I read your most recent set of replies and got curious as to how Unsweetened Lemonade applies to Malleus and Lilia. Could you go into more depth about that, if you don't mind?
To be honest, Anon, I don’t really have a lot to say about it, I’m basing it off vibes for the most part lol
Bittersweetness + disappointment, the feeling of tiredness, of cheating death, “a winner but at what cost” type of feeling. I could be completely wrong, of course.
Once again, I am not the best person to tie songs with characters, or at least I never dive too deep into it and don’t usually analyse lyrics, just do the “well if you squint” thing.

l1l dev1l gives me the worst 2nd hand embarrassment and i don’t even follow her. But sometimes people will share her things or IG thinks i should see her posts because someone I folllw does. Her persephone doll…… none of the joints work on the casted version, the “professional” version, and she is still trying to sell it for $550 USD???? it doesn’t even look like a finished doll because of the sculpting ability! The eyes don’t look like they have proper eyewells so that the eyes can fit properly. This isn’t a style choice. People complain here that “oh don’t like don’t look” (i decided to block before sending this because insta clearly wants me to see her stuff…) or “dont make fun of beginner artists” (i don’t consider this making fun. But just expressing shock and dismay.), or “people complain about this all the time”. it’s a confession blog! my confession is i don’t understand how she thinks $550 USD is normal for her work.
I also want to know: who is even buying her things? her marketing is so very bad. Her dolls are never posed well or dressed appealing, and flop everywhere. You can tell the joints are bad because the doll can’t even hold a sitting pose without looking cast to the side. My friend showed me a story of hers. She writes everything in fonts that you can’t even see????(Maybe too that’s why the colors she picks for her resin colors aren’t appealing?) It’s probably better that she sticks to just selling her files on websites and not trying to get casted things, because she’s going to be stuck with a lot of dolls and a lot of money wasted if she keeps going this way. There is no improvement either in her sculpting, because it seems like she doesn’t focus, she just keeps making, but not keeping the lessons from the last one. Maybe take a sculpting class. There is some on skillshare or youtube for free!
People complain that we are too hard on novice doll makers. I don’t think so. I think everyone pretty much agrees if you’re just making a doll for yourself that it is fine, do whatever, and it doesn’t matter how messy or beginner it looks. It’s the selling and “toxic positivity”. L1l dev1l doesn’t have any true friends if she is showing them this work and they are not stopping her, helping her. Critique is important! Even if it is said with vinegar. It hurts but you have to look at why people said that!!!! Immediately trying to sell a $550 USD resin doll who can’t stand (looks very heavy, joints don’t fit well, no balance, casted resin is different than printed resin. Printed resin has different friction!) will lead to failure. But by all means keep making and creating things you like, but stop forcing yourself to make it just so you can sell it. It might take you years to make a doll that is good enough to sell for $550 USD. Start small and only cast one or two for yourself, maybe even at home, so you can fix issues.
Stop rushing things!

Get to Know Me Tag :)
Tagged by @telomeke, thank you!! :)) My answers are not going to be as wonderfully detailed but I will try not to be boring, at least!!
Do you make your bed?
Every morning! It's the second thing I do (after cleaning my glasses, haha). I've found it to be a pretty big part of managing my depression so it's something I have to do, regardless of how tempting it is to leave blankets ready for me to crawl into
What's your favorite number?
I don't have one (numbers are my sworn enemy, after all) but it has been a bit of a thing since I was a kid that 6 is "my number" lol (for reasons I can't get into since that's way too personally identifying). 4 has been a thing, too. Maybe my OCD just likes even numbers? Don't ask.
What is your job?
Frustratingly, I've been unemployed going on four years. I'm in the midst of yet another round of job searching (which has become pretty desperate, to be honest). Discrimination against deafblind people is no joke. I do a lot of volunteer work in the meantime, running a support group and social media for a nonprofit organization.
If you could go back to school, would you?
I would like to go to graduate school for my career. Otherwise, I totally would go to school for media analysis or to take sociology classes again. But without crushing deadlines! I can imagine it now... doing projects and taking tests on my own time... the literal dream
Can you parallel park?
If you feel like risking your life and the lives of every creature and plant in the vicinity and witnessing considerable property damage, yeah I'll do it! Just put a sighted person in the passenger seat so I don't kill myself in the process.
A job you had that would surprise people?
I don't think my jobs would really surprise people? I've had a lot. My first job was as an assistant soccer referee when I was around 14. I was not very good at it but reffed a lot of games. I also was center ref for a couple tournaments (for kids, no older than ten). I looked good in the uniform but that's about it hahaha
Do you think aliens are real?
Absolutely. I'm not sure if I believe they're sentient (at least not in the way we would conceive of it) but the universe is VAST. There's no way we're the only ones. We definitely have not been visited by any, that's for sure.
Can you drive a manual car?
I understand the general theory of it, so again if you want me risk life and limb, I will. The one time I drove I think it was a semi-automatic if not fully automatic transmission.
What's your guilty pleasure?
I have OCD, I feel guilty about everything I like. But I guess right now it would be Kit Kats and Reese's, both of which I have been munching on all week. I am morally against Nestle and know Hershey's is by far inferior to properly-sourced, better-tasting chocolate but... it's not as expensive as the good stuff and... I like when things are pumpkin-shaped :(
Tattoos?
Love them!! Just not on me. I think if I didn't have the skin concerns I do (primarily, keloids run in our family) I may be way more tempted to get one or two smaller ones (and my brother has tats and is totally fine) but as I've said... I have OCD. I think in reality I would be really really freaked out by having something permanent inked into me. So I just live vicariously though everyone else, especially my best friend. They have great taste so their tattoos are very very cool and well done.
Favorite color?
I love oranges and greens, especially tangerine or a deep green.
Favorite type of music?
I have extremely eclectic taste, so it's basically whatever I'm in the mood for. My Spotify Wrapped never reflects the music I really gravitate to when I want to legitimately sit down and listen. Usually it's just on in the background as I do something else but I really enjoy intentionally focusing on a good album. Overall I'm definitely more into rock (very general, I know) than anything else, though that's not necessarily what I listen to most often. I'll listen to indie, punk, hard metal, folk, pop, electronic, hip-hop, R&B, jazz, soul, show tunes, alternative, classical, you name it. Lately I've been listening to a lot of film scores, ballads, and lighter more instrument-heavy stuff. This month's playlist had Dome Jaruwat, Howard Shore, Martin Nievera, Florist, Jewelry, T-ARA, Kim Jung Mi, TRACE & Ariel Loh, and Sade Adu, among others.
Do you like puzzles?
Yes and no. I find that dyscalculia makes certain puzzles more tedious and difficult than they should be, and that combined with ADHD makes things I should ostensibly be good at (Scrabble, for example) more frustrating than not. I don't mind jigsaws or logic puzzles though. I did Deaf Academic Bowl in high school, so I'm super into things like that (trivia, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, escape room kinds of things).
Any phobias?
Not too many. When it comes to specific phobias, I'm pretty phobic of stink bugs though that's lessened over the years, replaced by a phobia of cockroaches. I'm neutral about bugs in general but as my eyesight has declined I've become less fond of the flying ones. Same thing goes for other small creatures difficult to track. I've noticed some agoraphobia developing in the last year or so as my vision has declined so I am working on managing that along with my social anxiety.
Favorite childhood sport?
Definitely soccer. Did nineteen seasons, despite bullying!
Do you talk to yourself?
Literally all the time. Always having a conversation with myself. Caught myself on the bus earlier today having a bit too animated of an internal conversation hahaha
What movies do you adore?
This is literally the worst thing to ask me. So many movies, so little time. I do love It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! which I watch every Halloween. I say it every year, but it very well may be my favorite film score. And it's technically a TV special so... I also adore The Florida Project, Eighth Grade, Anatomy of a Fall, Bound, Minding the Gap, Rocketman, It Happened One Night, Shoplifters, Blindspotting, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse... I could go on and on and on.
Coffee or tea?
I LOVE coffee but I've been gravitating more and more to tea, probably because of the hell coffee sometimes wreaks on my digestive system.
First thing you wanted to be growing up?
I was very specific: an Olympic gold-medalist figure skater. Only because I loved watching this event so much. To be honest I don't know what the first real ambition I had was? I did wonder what it may be like to be a journalist, professional soccer player, lawyer, that kind of thing.
I am tooooo tired to tag anyone but if you want to play, here's your chance (and tag me so I can read it!!)

Ideas have been spinning around in my brain for awhile now and you can disregard all of this if you want but I have WAYYYY too many characters with excessively detailed backstories and your little character has been sparking ideas for me. So! I have lore ideas and here they are (these ideas may/may not overlap a little with my own stories but not enough that you can’t do what you want):
I was thinking your oc (the wispy one with the colors n stuff) came to be as a result of the remains of dead gods. Morbid, but it happened a little like a star forming from the dust of other stars. So over time all these remains out in the universe just started coming together and suddenly there’s a whole being! And obviously this being has no idea about anything. It kinda just… is. For a long while at that. It kinda just floats through space while sightseeing the galaxy.
It quickly learns it’s pretty much indestructible but at the same time getting caught in a star’s gravity hurts so not gonna do that again if it can avoid it. It also learns that it can do some pretty weird stuff (not that it knows it’s weird yet) like adjust certain things like light and energy. It can change shape at will too. It’s not all powerful and does need rest after some of these things but for a while it toys with things.
Eventually they fall to a planet. A planet with life. A planet with… other conscious beings apparently! (What we know is earth!) It’s curious but also nervous. So it watches. Mimics other life forms. Learns. It figures out how to read and write and talk both from osmosis and from seeing elders teach younger. This is not limited to humanity either. Anything from certain animals to insects and to an extent, plants!
Once they start feeling confident enough, they try blending in either human society. This… admittedly doesn’t go well. It is clear that they look too different to properly fit in and people tend to either stare or scream.
One thing leads to another and they accidentally get in trouble with what is essentially the supernatural police. After many, MANY long hours things get sorted out and they get brought to some higher tier gods to get informed about… well, everything. It is upon meeting the other gods that they realize, they don’t have a name. So they make one up on the spot. Four.
They end up trial and erroring a lot of things over time (under a lot of supervision) and find they have an inclination towards writing and reading. To discuss with other people and have fun. They also learn that they can suck the dye out of shit and annoy people with that fact. It is very fun and the dye tastes yummy so… (the ability is mostly because they’re made up of the remains of dead gods and that’s what large parts of the universe is made of. Thus, if they focus, they can adjust or even take in that energy for themself)
Once Four really starts understanding how society and stuff functions they try again to fit in with society. And it works! Sure, they have to give the excuse of “cosplay” when their disguise fails a little too hard but whatever. So sometimes they just go to the human realm to mess with people and hang out. For the most part tho, they hang around the heavenly realms and fantasy worlds and send out stories/fanfics using their phone no matter where they are.
(Have I written too much? Absolutely. I hope you enjoyed my oc brainrot tho. Because my brain has not shut up since I started drawing)
(Also amazing job on losing hope, I will be screaming abt it in ur inbox soon, it’s just I’ve felt a little like death warmed over lately)
Sorry, I didn't want this to leave my inbox because then I could look at it constantly and giggle and kick my feet every time I thought of it, like a selfish little monster teehee. I can't believe you like my little sona so much!!! This is all canon to my little character now, you created a whole backstory for them and it makes me sob every time I think about it, you're a sweet little MONSTER, GOD- I am sobbing. Violently. How are you feeling? Are you feeling a little better? Because that's so relatable that's how I'm feeling right now, teehee
#four being a dumbass#four's sona#LUNA!!!#this may seem like a small and delayed reaction#but I'll have you know I was screaming when I first read this#you're so so sweet#I genuinely don't know what to say

really long ass religious ramblings that ended up way longer than i expected
i started watching pbs eons recently and as i watch and learn all this stuff about extinct early mammals and plants and shit, i'm realizing that all of this stuff, all this stuff that's taken place over five billion years is all fact that i was outright told was a lie. i literally was told the devil put dinosaurs on earth to fool mankind AND I BELIEVED IT BC I WAS A CHILD!!! like well into high school!!!! i said that once in my ancient history class and i still remember the look my teacher gave me like "oh you're being so for real right now"
i know from reading r/exjw that other ex jws have similar issues kind of like. processing and accepting the fact that the earth is So fucking old, because that's the exact opposite of what was drilled into our heads. like i had no idea until two days ago or so that BC and BCE are supremely outdated and just not used anymore. i had no clue. i thought negative numbers were a thing that people used outside of religious context. i saw the abbreviation "mya" and could not comprehend that it meant "million years ago" like 4600 mya. that's 4.6 billion years and that is just not a number i can process
i had no idea what evolution was. really i could not figure out how plants and animals would evolve to suit their surroundings like that because it just didn't make sense that they just Knew randomly. there was an example of these white moths that were getting eaten by birds like crazy, but there were also some that had mutations that made them black. then it happened that pollution made the trees black too for whatever reason, so the black moths could hide and then breed with that mutation and evolved like that. NOOOO IDEA i had No Fucking Clue that its all just. happenstance. the moth happened to hatch a different color than the rest and that random genetic mutation saved that species of moth while the other one died off.
i recently learned what light was and where it came from because i asked my boyfriend (who will say he isn't smart and then rattle off the answer to every single one of my cult brain questions) where rainbows were. that was my question because i just genuinely had no idea and honestly?? still a little confused. i don't understand carbon. like i know what it is but where is it. where are molecules and how are they everywhere. what the fuck do you mean there's lava like... three fucking miles below me??? how did fish get to land in the first place They Have No Lungs
the last video i watched was "where did water come from." never never never once in my entire life wondered that and now i can't stop thinking about it. carbon dating confuses me too and i haven't even found a pbs video about it yet. i didn't know if it was one word or two but it is apparently two words but that doesn't really help
i'm learning all of this new (to me) stuff at the same time that i'm paying super close attention to domestic and international politics for the first time and getting consumed with a 24 hour news cycle which is absolutely breaking my brain. this is the first election i've been able to really be apart of and understand since properly waking up from being a jw, so i'm actually learning about politics and the people inside it instead of having to just choke down "lesser evil voting. " so lots of stuff happening.
sorry if you read all this nonsense 🤷♀️

The way teen boys express masculinity feels so much more organic than the way adult men do it. And I don't mean this in a self infantilizing way or to imply adult men are fundamentally flawed. or whatever, but...
I look at old pictures of guys in their teens - mid 20s in the 2000s and they're all just. Shirtless playing Guitar Hero, or making stupid faces and goofy fake macho poses in Speedos, or making guns out of Monster cans, or surrounded by mountains of beer cans, or lifting their girlfriends over their shoulders, or some other fun silly shit. And that just resonates with me. The other day I found a myanimelist group dedicated to talking about "REAL MANLY THINGS THAT REAL MEN LIKE" and the list was everything from giant mech fights to screaming to random clips of grumpy old men talking about eating bacon and drinking beer for every meal. And it was funny and charming but it also genuinely resonated with me. Like I played Mortal Kombat and watched Gurren Lagann and played cowboys and soldiers outside with my friends as a kid, so a lot of my masculinity is derived from hammy fictional stuff and I don't think that's ever really gonna go away. Like these kids know how to have fun as well as embracing their masculine spirit.
Comparatively, I look at similar shit for adult men and it's just....so desolate and lame and wilted in comparison. Wear jeans that fit properly, wear solid colors, no stripes or cool graphic designs or bright colors or anything. Chest hair and patchy facial hair are considered tacky rather than a testament to rugged, organic manliness, hyper groom. No more ninjas or pirates or cowboys or samurai, no more passionate and open appreciation when a woman likes you enough to let you see her naked body, trade your muscle car / motorcycle in favor of a normie domestic suburban life. Like what the hell, man. No wonder we're all so goddamn miserable, we're sacrificing the legitimate versions of ourselves that we spent so long cultivating in our youths and just tossed them in the trash. I understand some of the novelty of this stuff wearing off over time, and don't get me wrong I like cigars and R&B and wearing suits and more "adult" stuff too, but I don't think I should just have to navigate masculinity with one or the other, I don't think having fun and maintaining a perpetual air of youthfulness should be considered immature or weird in any capacity, I think it's absolutely vital.

Okay so in my Art of Theater class, we were each asked to do a presentation on a topic of our choice relating to theater, and the topic I chose was opera, as a form of theater. I presented it in late March, it ended up being rather successful, and my teacher liked it well enough to ask me to present it to her other section of that same course, which I did. And so today I had my final exam for this course, so this inspired me to post the slides of my presentation (well, I already had this idea on the day of the presentation, but it’s a convo with @smile-at-the-stars yesterday that truly motivated me to work on it), alongside an approximation of the extra stuff I said orally while presenting.
(Note: the star-shaped bullet points are actually gold-colored, for some reason, when I converted the slides into either JPEG or PNG format, they keep getting colored white. I have no idea why.)
“When I say ‘opera’, you may think of a singer standing on a stage and singing in a style some of you might find weird or even unpleasant. Yeah, that’s not opera. That’s just singing. Lyrical singing, or classical singing, or whatever you want to call it. Opera specifically is when this type of singing is placed within a theatrical context.”
(To show the difference between an aria and a recitative, I sang the first 8 measures of Vedrai, carino, and used this audio, which I cut at around 0:32)
Here, I emphasized why I highlighted the word “acting” in the grid above, and also explained that opera students at my Conservatory are given the basics of Italian and German, in order to better understand what they are singing about.
As an example of how singers have to properly convey the emotions of the character they are portraying as they sing, I mentioned an anecdote about the time I was practicing L’ho perduta, which is about a young girl who lost an object and is desperately searching for it, and my voice teacher told me something like: “do not sing it in a grand manner, you are not La Contessa with a big voice. You are this little girl who is desperately searching for that pin she lost”. In order to show the difference to the students, I sang the first couple lines of L’ho perduta in a somewhat grand way, and then I sang it again in a more subdued way that better reflects the context.
(I mentioned that in L’Orfeo, the living world is represented by string instruments while the Underworld is represented by brass instruments, but that’s not very important.)
I also added that even in upcoming opera season announcements all over the world that had come out recently, you can find L’Orfeo in quite a few of them.
“I’m gonna stop here, because otherwise this would take WAY too long. I highly recommend you read more about the history of opera.”
To give the others a better idea of what I mean by “vocal virtuosity”, I briefly sang the first 2 measures of Lütgen’s Etude No. 8 (the clarinet part; up till 0:05).
My commentary on Barber of Seville: “This is the opera that ‘FIGARO, FIGARO, FIGARO’ comes from”. And Lucia di Lammermoor: “You might recognize some of the music from it if you’ve watched The Fifth Element, the scene with the alien singing opera”.
I described Wagner’s operas as having “MASSIVE orchestrations, requiring HUGE voices, lasting like 4 hours”.
I mentioned that Bohème is one of my favorite operas, and that it’s the opera that RENT was based on.
I explained that operetta tends to contain spoken dialogue.
“If you mention microphones in the opera circles on social media (e.g. Reddit), you will be sure to start a war” (it’s kind of an exaggeration, but 😝).
“You cannot cry while singing, because it messes your vocal cords.”
“I chose these two opera houses to show you the difference between a proscenium stage (the format of most opera houses around the world, just like theatres) and an arena, as we learned some time ago during this course.”
Palais Garnier: “which is where the Phantom of the Opera lives”.
The Sydney Opera House “is much more well-known for its exterior than its interior, but it actually houses several venues. The main venue is just concert hall, but the one in the picture here (the Joan Sutherland Theatre) is where operas are typically performed”.
The Bayreuth Festspielhaus: “which performs exclusively works by Wagner. I chose to show you this one because it has a bit of an unusual structure; it rather resembles the thrust stage format, and the orchestra pit is located kind of under the stage”.
The video in question (subs by Yours Truly, except the ones in the last footage, which were already there, when I downloaded it from the Met’s channel).
The following week iirc, the teacher mentioned Diana Damrau’s Queen of the Night as one example of stylized makeup, as opposed to realistic makeup, and I added that it’s because that opera is a fairy tale opera or sorts.

Hello! Hi! I'm one of the invested reader in your most recent fic Gimmighoul for your thoughts? And also the one who's writing a fic vaguely inspired by it. (And also one that commented a lot, haha.)
You may recognize me by username (there's an extra 's' here but, eh, it's the same.) I decided to ask the questions I wanted to ask there because of, uh, anxiety issues.
So here are my questions:
1. Would you be okay with it if I were to use your character, Flore, in my story? It's most likely too late because I already started with the female MC, but I may write more Pokémon stuff in the future and I'd like to write it with a non-binary MC and I now have as a headcanon that, if there was an option to be non-binary, their default name would be Flore (like Juliana for the girl, and Florian for the boy). Also, if you're okay with it, would it be okay to alter a little bit their story and their taste? Like, they have Koraidon instead of Miraidon or they chose Sprigatito instead of Fuecoco as their starter. Or, they're fond of cute stuff instead of macabre stuff. Their personalities would most likely stay the same, but there would be slight alteration like that. Just like how people write Juliana or Florian: things changing depending of the person personal experience.
2. Next, I wanted to know if I should give you a shout out if I ever post my fic somewhat related to yours? Since you gave me the idea for the prompt, in a sense. Like, I would say the name of the fic that inspired me and your author's name and saying something like: "check out their stuff, they're great." I don't know if I should, because I'm, anyway, a way smaller author and my story will, probably, not even be remotly similar to yours. Furthermore, I'm a very strange person and I write the idea out of my mind with barely any filters. My works are tagged properly, at least, but, you know, not safe for work. You're a SFW author, so I'd understand if you'd like to not be associated with me in the slightest. However, since I would be the one doing the shoutout, it wouldn't be as bad as if you were to do it. If there's one thing I really dislike it's making people uncomfortable against their will. I'm a strange person, maybe a bit scary at first glance, but I'm not a creep. I do not approve of tricking people into seeing weird things. No need to worry, this fic I'm planning to write will be, at max, rated teens and up. I looked at your other stuff and you're more inclined toward family friendly and I respect that 100%. On my side, my taste change and my mind shifts every two months so my works are all over the place. (I wanted to explain that, because, you know, the internet can be wild sometimes and get to the most extreme conclusion.)
3. I forgot to ask: what are your preffered pronouns? I should have asked that first. Sorry if I'm indiscreet, but I just want to be safe. I assumed you were non-binary since you seem to like turning some character non-binary (by looking at your works). So, my brain default to they/them pronouns. Also, asking in case I need to give you a shout out. (And, in case you want to know too, I don't have preffered pronouns. Any is fine.)
Anyway, that's it! I know this is a lot, but I think those are important questions. Sorry if it was badly written, I have trouble to write my personal thoughts on paper; I write stories, not emails. Thank you for your time and I wish you the best of luck for whatever adventure you are currently on! ^_^ (Also, random compliment: I like your art. Especially the coloring. The way you use colors is magnifico!)
Ah! Good to see you, and what a nice lengthy ask. I will answer in kind to make things easier.
1 Go ahead! You can use Flore for your fics. I am over the moon that you want to write about them. But if you do, I would like you to please credit me. I put a lot of time and effort into writing them and their design, and it would hurt for them to be used without credit. But I am assured you will do that; if not, you would not be asking permission in the first place.
As for changing Miraidon to Koraidon and other story details - you have my permission! I don't sweat the small stuff. Flore likes cute things, too; it's usually overworn by their love of spooky stuff most of the time (they and Lacey geek out about cute Pokemon in most of their hangouts). And you can change their Pokemon to whatever team you have in mind. It will be like a fun alternate-universe version of them. It makes sense that OG Flore and your version of Flore differ, and I'm all up for seeing it!
2 You can give me a shout-out or not. I will leave it up to you. I gave you the prompt indirectly, but you don't have to mention me if it varies too much from the original. But again, as above, please credit me if you use Flore.
Being told I'm an SFW author is pretty funny! I suppose I am, even though I have written horror and creepy stuff before - it never needed a mature rating. I respect NSFW authors for being so brave. So ditto!
3. I use He/him, they/them pronouns. I go through life mostly as a guy, but I also feel non-binary, so you are not entirely wrong.
And don't cha worry! This is not poorly written at all. I can read that you are excited, and that is nice to know. Thank you very much for the well wishes (I will need them) and for complimenting my art. It's lovely of you.
Have a sketch of Flore as a farewell gift! I wish you an absolutely awesome day or night further!
