Yuji knocks on your door, he wanted to drop off some of the books he borrowed from you only to get no response. It was weird because he knew you were in your dorm...

"NOOOOOO" You yelled making Yuji panic

"Y/N ARE YOU OKAY?" He said as he burst open your door only to see you balled up on your bed crying into your pillow while muttering random sentences hysterically.

"He was-HIC- so-HIC-"

"Calm down Y/N are you okay?!" Yuji asked scanning your body for any inguries

"NOO IM NOT" you shouted throwing the pillow in your arms at the T.V infront of you before going back to crying.

"Shhhh calm down what if Nobora hears you?" he said with an awkward look on his face.

You stopped everything and stared at him.

"You monster-" you said before the tears rolled down your cheeks again.

"Do you not care?" you said through tears with your lip quivering.

It was no use because you really started to cry now.

"What's going on? I heard someone crying" Gojo asked sticking his head in the door way of your dorm.

"I DO!" he retaliates

Gojo scans the room laying his eyes on your T.V seeing the end credits of Demon slayer playing. His face went white.

"No- Don't tell me-"

You nodded your head up and down aggressively while sniffing into a tissue

"RENGOKU-SAN" Gojo yelled grabbing the T.V by the screen watching the credits go by.

Yuji finally realized what this was all about.

"Are you kidding me?" He turned to you stiffly.

"Y/N...He's not real, your crying over someone who's not real-"

You and Gojo both froze

"Yuji, clearly you don't understand the gravity of the situation" Gojo starts.

"You see when someone with a pure heart and soul dies, no matter if they are real OR NOT, its a hard loss. Its like if they killed the earth worm man in the first Human worm movie."

Yuji turns his attention back to you

"You didn't even cry this much when I 'died'" Yuji mumbled

"THATS COMPLETLY DIFFERENT!" You said offended that he would even consider bring that up right now.

"YOUR RIGHT, HES NOT REAL AND YOUR CRYING OVER HIS DEATH WHILE I 'DIED' AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN CRY THIS MUCH."

Mean while Gojo laid on your floor muttering the lyrics to the end credit song while crying.

summary: you weren't sure what you were expecting when you agreed to sneak up to the overworld with your friend, sampo, but you sure as hell didn't think you'd run into an attractive silvermane guard, and you certainly didn't think he'd find you fascinating as well.

warnings: probably ooc (idk much abt gepard im sorry!! im learning more abt him i promise), love at first sight, physical touch (platonically from sampo), lmk if i missed anything i wrote this at 1 am lol

"Enough already, Sampo! I've told you a million times at this point, I'm not going to the Overworld with you!" you groaned at your friend. Not long after you went out to start your day, your good friend, Sampo, had been trying to convince you to go above ground with him, and, frankly, you were growing tired of his antics. "Oh, come on! It ain't so bad! Listen, if you decide you don't like what you see up there, then I won't ask you again. I just want you to go up there with me one time, okay? Just this once, I promise," Sampo tried to reason with you. You sighed, ultimately giving up, seeing how he wouldn't stop trying. "Alright, just this once, but don't expect me to go up there again." Smiling, your friend began to guide you to the way up.

After about three hours on the surface, you were a bit bored. Your friend, however, somehow kept on moving, claiming that "We'll run into something interesting soon, I'm sure of it!" So, the two of you continue walking along.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, you hear a shout. "You! Underworlders! Stop right there!" You turn around, looking for the source of the voice. Your eyes widen slightly as your gaze lands upon a group of Silvermane Guards with their weapons ready.

"Aw, c'mon guys! Surely we can talk this out?" Sampo attempted to persuade them, to no avail. You look at the man who seemed to be the head of the squadron, a blonde-haired, blue-eyed, slightly taller than average and rather handsome guy, as he gazed at two of you before he spoke, "State your purpose."

Sampo put on his signature smirk, trying to sway them, as he said, "We're just, y'know, some traveling merchants! Really! You don't have to be so harsh on us, we're just passing through, we swear!" Unfortunately for the two of you, the guards remained unconvinced.

"Considering how many times I've caught you sneaking around up here, I highly doubt that you're just a traveling merchant. Though, I haven't seen you running around with another person before. How come you brought him with you?" The blonde asks, gesturing towards you. "Oh, y'know, sometimes I get lonely! Of course, to fix that problem, I simply asked him if he'd like to come with me," Sampo explained, not mentioning how he kept on interrupting your work in order to actually convince you to go with him.

The blonde stared at you for a while. "Interesting. I suppose since he likely bothered you quite a bit before you agreed to join him, I will let you go with a warning this time. You are free to go," he responded, gaze not leaving you. Not wasting any time, you dragged Sampo along as you began treading back home.

When you finally returned to the Underworld, you let out a sigh of relief. Truthfully, you weren't sure how much longer you would've been able to keep a blush from forming on your face if you had to keep looking at that handsome Silvermane Guard. Damn the divines for making a guy that you weren't supposed to fall in love with hot.

Sampo put his arm around your shoulders, "Hey, when did you get so good at convincing people, hm? I don't think that Gepard guy ever let me go that easily before!" He laughed. "Gepard? Is he the blonde one?" You inquired. "Haha, yep! Usually, he's always so stingy about letting me go, but this time, he let us off instantly! Hey, just a hunch, but it seems like he might be into you!" Sampo chuckled and nudged you. You gave him a deadpan look. "Yeah, right," you muttered. As if a conventionally attractive Silvermane Guard would get romantic feelings for a member of Wildfire. Yeah no. As much as you might want it to, it definitely was not happening.

Unbeknownst to you, however, that very same Silvermane Guard was lying in his bed, thinking about his encounter with you today with a giant blush adorning his face.

Hello! Congrats on 500 followers (I've only just found your blog aha, but congrats either way ^^)

If possible I'd like to request a matchup hehe~ I'm average height I think (5'3), I have a real gothic style (black and dark colours are my thing. Rather casual but I'll sometimes go with makeup if I'm going out, tho that's usually more reserved for when I'm cosplaying). My hobbies would be writing, listening to music and playing games mainly (unless sleeping is considered a hobby too? I do that a lot. Low energy levels especially as of recently for some reason). My favourite writing genres are usually very dark and horror themes along with angst (though I do sometimes write fluff too), my music taste is mainly obey me and enstars songs with some other stuff mixed in like alternative or dance pop. I mainly play gacha games and rhythm games too aha. As mentioned before another of my hobbies would be cosplay, though I don't really now do it unless I'm going to a con with my friend. My star sign if relevant is Sagittarius btw. My most prominent sin is Envy (tho Gluttony and Sloth do represent me well, Envy is the best). I'm very quiet and shy/awkward but I do tend to talk for hours the second I'm able to talk abt my hyperfixations aha. Also got a terrible habit of staying up late playing games or whatever and then wondering why I'm always so tired lol

🦐 He finds out early on in the relationship about your habit of collecting sea shells. Now, because of him that collection has expanded a great amount. Look, you're dating a merman, he can and will be going under the water to gather the best and biggest shells thay he can find for your ccollection. But your personal favorite is a little cream colored chipped clam shell. He brought that one back after finding it randomly on a walk and it is now the most cherished one in the collection.

🦐 The way your mood fluctuates matches how his does, and while it annoyed him at first (like, is this how Jade and Azul feel when his does that?), he was able to quickly find out what can set you off or change your mood and is able to quickly adjust accordingly. Though he will admit that you look pretty hot when you get angry and tackle someone twice your size.

🦐 He would absolutely love to go exploring with you. It can be boring, it can be dangerous, so much could happen that you just don't know and that's what makes it exciting! If you ever get bored of looking at the supposedly haunted houses, he'll happily supply a breathing potion and he can show you some really cool shipwrecks!

🦐 Overall, a relationship with the reckless eel with legs is nothing short of an adventure. You know you'll never be bored, he loves how considerate you are with him and how you take care of him. thoughts on the merlin ending because i need merlin rants to fuel me

i am literally the perfect person for this, i have so many contradicting thoughts abt this

ok SO: the whole show we kinda know that arthur is doomed and that he's going to die but we just ASSUME that he won't, yk?? but then if yk literally anything abt arthurian legend then yk how the show is gonna end. so it felt kind of pointless to me?? it was like being told who the murderer is at the very beginning of a murder mystery, having to watch the detective puzzle everything out and figure out the clues but you already know who did it so its really underwhelming.

in that same line of thought, the whole time we are told that arthur and merlin are destined to "unite albion" and all that, that arthur will be the greatest king albion had ever seen. but that doesn't make any sense because he died before he could do any of that. all those prophesies are completely false—potential ≠ actually doing something.

but at the same time, i LOVE that it ends that way. merlin spends the whole show fiercely believing that he can arthur from this fate, that his love and protection alone will keep him safe. obviously, this isn't true. arthur dies and it isn't for merlin's lack of trying—he did everything he could do. it kind of represents how love isn't some all-powerful force. merlin's love for arthur couldn't save him from his fate.

this ending also represents wasted potential. if arthur had welcomed magic then he wouldn't have died, simple as that. (i'm not blaming him for never having done this, this is just a fact.) and if he hadn't of died, he would have fulfilled all those prophesies. then, in the same breath, those prediction that he would die at mordred's hand would also probably be false. all of the druid's prophesies make no sense, tbh, and it's one of my least favorite parts of the series.

but drifting away from arthur's death and all those complication, GWEN. the fact that gwen became the sole ruler of Camelot was a brilliant way to conclude the series. considering she was one of the few characters who was very neutral abt magic, i like to think that she began to repeal the bans on sorcery after she found out abt merlin. it probably would have taken her years to restore the kingdom to its pre-uther days but i think she would have accomplished it eventually.

also, the whole "merlin is immortal" thing? literally what the fuck. WHAT were the writers on, bc i want it as far away from me as possible. the once and future king shit?? the whole "oh yea just sit there and wait a couple THOUSAND YEARS until your medieval bf comes back from the dead" thing they had going??? LITERALLY WHAT THE FUCK.

unfortunately i don't have any refs beyond what i drew, but he just has typical vampire traits (red eyes, claws, very pale, etc)

in my universe, vampires are more biologically plausible, so they have adaptations and they're mostly limited to what's natural. they aren't immortal, can't turn humans into vampires, etc. though it's not completely realistic, otherwise this story wouldn't exist lol

vampires can live to 1000 years. they're hardy, they can take injuries that would be fatal to a human (though they feel just as much pain), and are difficult to kill. yet that's exactly the problem for our unfortunate guy :)

hunters imprisoned and tortured him for over 300 years, never granting him the mercy of death. he's now merely a shell of who he once was, and he has no memory of his past or who he was (and honestly, i don't know either lmao)

as you may know, being tortured for centuries leaves irreparable trauma/mental damage, not only making him lose his memories but rendering him incapable of fending for himself. he can barely function, can hardly say anything other than apologies or pleas, etc. i think his brain has even lost significant mass (i have no idea if this is even possible but let's go with it lol)

in present day, he's out of there and with a caretaker, though i'll share more about that later, or if i ever get around to writing his story lmao

hello i dont have any energy to rewrite all my fanfiction ideas for this quest bc i made this long ass post abt it in detail but it didnt save and now i feel so hollow and numb. im going through every stage of grief right now, currently at stage 4, depressed.

all i ask is for xiao chasm content. please. i beg. SOMEONE, LITERALLY ANYONE PLEASE MAKE XIAO FOUND FAMILY CONTENT

and then put him through an indescribable amount of pain and turmoil as he fails to accept his yaksha friends are dead and faces the slow realization he has no family, other than zhongli, left.

for now i'll just share a few of my daydreams at its most basic level and hope to god somewhere in the world a genshin writer will take this idea and bring it to life

yaksha found family + reader witnessing all of it, being an outsider as another weaker yaksha.

where you, unaware of the suffering and pain that comes with the responsibility of being one of the five yakshas, hope to get an ounce of understanding for them like they do with one another, hoping to be part of what seems like a "family."

yearning to gain even a bit of that familial warmth, you glance over to observe them on the sidelines and smile at the sounds of their contagious laughter directed at xiao's now fully-painted face.

as years pass by, you watch in horror as each yaksha slowly succumbs to the darkness of their karma one by one, never returning to that bright family dynamic they forgot about.

finally, when xiao, the youngest of all of them, the only one remaining, tries to recover from the loss of valiant warriors he considered his siblings, you console him, experiencing a pain similar to his. both of you support one another awaiting the day you can reunite with the rest of the yakshas again.

this can really extend as much as it wants to starting off w wholesome shenanigans and then angst to possible hurt comfort or just you and xiao wailing in pain together. i love a good slow burn so thats my personal request, like each paragraph written above can be extended to a whole post and split up into a whole series, but really its up to whoever wants to take up my challenge to make it however they want.

xiao and reader dynamic:

in this case i feel like xiao bonds with reader where they feel this mutual emptiness but in different kinds of ways.

you feel alone in the world, you feel excluded from the rest of the yakshas, you long for something you don't have and haven't had in a long time, for that bond that effortlessly ties the five yakshas together. despite being surrounded by so many people you constantly feel like not one of them understands.

you want to be with anyone as long as it's someone. but you have no one. there are so many thoughts, feelings and emotions but there's no one to share them with no one who cares enough to listen. you wish for what the yaksha's have, the family they built on their mutual suffering and joys, where they all understand each others pain because they all share the same experiences.

you feel like no matter how kind or nice or strong and heroic you are or can train to be nobody thinks to call or ask anything of you, its this numbing feeling that prods in your chest at the loneliest and quietest of days, it's not like they're outwardly avoiding you, quite the opposite. they tell you to join, but however close you are to them you still feel distant, and when you part for your more meagre duties compared to their wider scale dangerous tasks, the rift between you and the family increases.

you don't feel upset, nor do you feel hurt, if anything you feel acceptance. it's normal. at times you feel gratitude; a warm feeling bubbling inside whenever they come to talk to you. happiness; whenever you see their doting towards one another, their dumb pranks and stupid jokes.

as an outsider, a weaker yaksha, you watch the adepti you've looked up to for so long from a distance and internally relish in the joy of their shared happiness.

whereas xiao is longing for something he's had before but can't do anything to get back, its this feeling of hopelessness and this agonizing need to go back to how things were, how he was before. he's distraught with the frustration and regret of not being able to get back what was lost and never being able to experience anything similar to it again. its sporadic. sudden. when the yaksha's slowly disappear, after years of investing in them from afar you end up feeling this way too, this same hole in your chest, this unshakable itch at the back of your mind that won't go away. the bond that you hoped to join, the joy you've observed for so long and the happiness you secretly chewed off of no longer exists.

now that you and xiao are the last yaksha left, perhaps you can form a new bond over your losses together.

THIS IS JUST FOR INSPO ON HOW TO WRITE THEM BTW!! do it literally however u want i just thought this would be really cool and emotional to write cuz like theres readers loneliness built up over the years and then theres xiaos mourning and that sudden period of grief and then the awkward sort of mutual sadness they feel in the end

family dynamic inspo:

xiao being the temperamental, more self centered youngest and bosacius acting as the more protective self-sacrificing eldest brother. followed by indarius (pyro yaksha) the second oldest almost mom-like, bubbly and loud friend, the walmart zhongli as the mediator, calm middle child and bonanus (hydro yaksha) as the second youngest, possessing a more timid, polite and shy aura.

and when xiao is left alone, he tries to remember all his happiest memories with each of his friends. he longs for them, he longs for the past so much that it hurts. he wants to be his old self, to get rid of this aching loneliness but as each happy memory flashes by, he spirals into a deeper pit of sadness and activates this haunting feeling in his heart that feels like something is missing. recounting the memories of his loved ones, he swears that this will never happen to anyone close to him again. even at the cost of his own life. in the midst of his vulnerability, he unknowingly engrains that very same savior complex his leader, no, his brother bosacius once had.

The music shop isn’t really interesting in itself. Sure, you can get any vinyl you want (and you always do, considering you’re a bit of a collector), scope out the radio booth, or look at the range of instruments available for sale. It’s the town's number one stop for anything music-related, but you, a person who can’t play any instrument to save your life, probably go there more often than anyone else does.

Probably because of the worker who runs the place.

Vi. That’s her name. You’ve said it to yourself dozens of times after the first time you met her. She cracked a joke when you pointed out the tattoo under her eye, and even though it was one of the stupidest things you’d ever heard, you couldn’t help but chuckle at it.

So here you are now, pushing open the door to the record shop to peruse at the new stocks they have. It’s relatively quiet— and by that, you mean you’re the only person inside when the bell over the door chimes to announce your arrival. The red light over the booth tells you one thing; Vi’s working the booth with her tunes. You walk over to go look, just out of curiosity.

“So if you want some of the best ice cream in town, ski right over to the doors of Avalanche Ice Cream. It’s winter, so brain freeze is guaranteed,” Vi says into the microphone, headphones over her ears as she recites the ad on the spot. “Up next, we’ve got one of my favorite tunes to educate you young punks about what real indie is.”

A random song starts playing. You smile at Vi when she glances over to see you. She presses mute on her soundboard and hangs up her headphones. A second later, she’s out of the booth and grinning that classic, cocky grin of hers.

“Back for more already? Spending sixty bucks on a collector’s edition vinyl yesterday wasn’t enough for you?” Vi puts her hands on her hips, her clunky docs landing on the floorboards with heavy thumps. You snort.

“You ever think I’m here for something other than vinyls, Vi?” you ask, folding your arms over your chest and raising a brow.

“Oh?” Vi spares a glance behind her back at the booth. “Here for some exclusives? Lucky I like you, Y/N. Come on.”

She takes your arm and drags you into the booth behind her. You stay quiet when she holds her finger up to you, sliding the headphones over her head.

“Alright, hope you all enjoyed that song. I got another one coming right up, some of you might already know this. It’s MAMMAMIA by Maneskin,” Vi says, putting the song on the queue. You hear the high-tempo music play through the speakers. You’re a little impressed, but not really, because you did order the vinyl for this album last week on back-order.

Vi comes over to you, shoulders shifting to the beat of the music. She starts mouthing the words to you, offering her hand. With an eye roll, you placate her by letting her spin you around.

“You wanna handle me, but I'm a bit too much,” Vi sings to the music, a wink tossed your way before she twirls you. “I'll burn all the place down, 'cause I'm too fucking hot!”

Before you realize it, the song’s over and your face might be a little red. You blame it on the impromptu dancing, but really, it might be connected to Vi singing a song about fucking straight to your face. She’s brazen like that, you’ve learned. You listen to her radio station whenever you can and she’s about as flirty as one can get while being a radio host. People dig it. Specifically, the ladies dig it.

“So, you play that song for any girl whose pants you wanna get into, or?” You ask, doing your best to pretend that you aren’t flustered (you are). Vi’s hot. She knows it. She’s confident about it. Probably one of the best things you like about her in the time you’ve come to know her as one of the folks in your little secluded town in buttfuck nowhere.

“Only the ones I like,” Vi replies, pressing a random button to queue another song. She turns to you. “So? Did it work?”

“Technique was rusty,” you retort.

“Ouch, tough crowd,” Vi replies, tossing her hair to the side. Some strands fall out of the messy bun she must’ve thrown it in this morning.

“I’m not easy to please, Vi,” you reply. Vi huffs.

“Not a problem for me. I can take my time,” Vi says, accented by a wink. The silver of her nose ring glints in the low lighting of the radio booth. She raises her arm and puts it over your head against the wall. “How about it, cutie?”

“Take me out to dinner, then we’ll see,” you say. Vi’s mouth curls up in a grin, and despite all of her bravado, you know this one is genuine. The wrinkles by her eyes speak volumes. You lean up and give her a kiss on the cheek before patting it. “Get back to work, slacker. Meet me at the bar tonight, seven o’clock.”

“The one on the end of Main street?”

“You know it. See you then, Vi. Don’t be late,” you say, pushing her off of you. You step out of the radio booth.

Vi puts on her headphones. “This one goes out to all the pretty girls but for me, one in particular. Here’s Beauty, by LOVE SUPREME.”

You listen to the song as you walk out of the shop, a broad smile on your face with the promise of a date with the hottest woman in town. How’s that for scoring the bag?

Lilith isn’t one for romantic relationships, so she can’t say she’s an expert on the matter. She never cared to have a romantic relationship and still does not, however she has many platonic relationships with others and is able to recognize that isn’t the most healthy way to deal with a relationship. Giving you a compliment is a normal part of a relationship and you should not bend over backwards for the person doing something so simple. She doesn’t push you to change, but she advises you take small steps because it is very easy to be taken advantage of.

Luz doesn’t really get it personally, she does understand wanting to do a lot for somebody, she does kind things for people constantly. But she doesn’t really want you to do so so so much for her, it’s just like?? She’s nice?? Let her do nice things!! She doesn’t need anything in return!!

Amity on the other hand completely understands, she doesn’t feel deserving of anyones kindness. Or that’s how she felt for a long time and while she still feels that way the feeling has faded a bit and she feels a lot better about things. You don’t need to do anything for her, it’s not like she did it cause she expected something in return, she did it cause she wanted to.

Hunter is also very understanding, given how he was raised. In fact, he would probably treat your relationship as such as well and not see much of an issue until Eda or Darius commented on the matter and tried to help you both out. But hey, if it works for you both and you can keep a healthy and stable relationship then why not?

Willow constantly reminds you she does not need you to do anything back for her when she does things she considers to be normal, she adores you and just wants you to know how great you are!! i'm the mom friend in my group and I make strong impressions because im pretty talkative and ..it's the first thing people notice about me . it makes me insecure because most girls in my area are pretty quiet. im not afraid to speak my mind , but I can be pretty, avoidant in arguing or conflicts (or playing peacemaker) because I can get really bitter quickly and guilt is a really strong emotion for me , especially with loved ones . in school and out , I'm quite polar oppositeI may come off as a devil-may-care attitude , but im honestly really focused on a lot of small details , especially because reading people's emotions comes easy for me , so there's a lot of pressure sometimes to please someone even if they may seem insignificant , so very much a people-pleaser...and thankfully , my friends try and help comfort me when im struggling , and vice versa cause we all just need a hand sometimes . they're my babies , and I'll always be there for them .

I try my best to hide a lot of my internal conflicts and stay happy but I don't deal well with negative emotions because they can be quite explosive for me personally , and I try not to blow up at others , more at myself? like breaking down in general due to stress or expectations, especially because I crave validation and like success? I prioritise that a lot , being successful or at least happy with what I do . especially for art ,there's high pressure to perform well , and I feel scared that im not good enough or if im not interesting / creative enough and it's why i can be quite determined and competitive. when im sad , sometimes all I need is a hug and a 'it's gonna be okay' to feel better , or a pizza the size of my calf or halo-halo..basically GIMME FOOD AND ILL FEEL BETTER!!! other times , I just need someone to talk to . not always listen , but someone who is willing to talk and comfort me a little 🥺

I like art!! Quite a bit!! Less of a realistic artist and more of a cartoonist!! Idk there's just something fun abt drawing cartoons, hehe. I also like self ships - I have quite a bit of them, actually ! Idk its comforting drawings your fictional crushes loving you idkidk. I like writing too! Both original stories, and one-shots or personal fics that are associated with already created media!! Writing character backstories and personalities and stuff is also fun too! I've even made my own fictional world with a full fledged backstory n everything! It's very fun to think about. I'm a day dreamer!!! Yea remember when I said I write stories? I day dream abt potential stories even more. Mmm daydream world so nice so warm so fun I read aswell!! Mostly fantasy books, or stories where animals are the protagonists. Think Warrior Cats. But my favorite book series has got to be Guardians of Ga'Hoole. Fantasy owl books, anyway! X Readers are also things I enjoy reading :) Again, s I m p Also gaming!!! Is something fun I do sometimes!!! Although it's usually Genshin Impact, or Wii Sports/Resort w// my little sister. Oh, also pokemon! I rlly like Primarina, Vaporeon, Sylveon and Vulpix/Ninetails! I absolutely adore sweet foods, and baking is smthn I'm def interested in! Don't like foods w// weird textures though, like beans or mashed potatoes. Also I. Love spice so much.
