To Sleep with Anger (Charles Burnett, 1990)
Old evil tailing new living. Devil on the shoulder, reminding, chiding, manipulating. Everyone suitably speaking in aphorisms

Amity park got lost
So there are plenty of aus and crossovers where Danny falls into a portal or gets sent to another world, but what if it wasn’t just him?
So amity park got sucked into the ghost zone, right?
Who’s to say it went back to the right earth afterwards?
So nobody notices at first, a few tourists come through, thoroughly confused because they never noticed this town before.
They laugh it off and go on with their days
Then weird things start to happen.
Suddenly there is an influx of ghostly activity around the Midwest and Constantine goes to investigate and finds an entire town…a town that seems to be incredibly independent and has absolutely no knowledge of the Justice league
Constantine decided then and there that he wasn’t druck enough for this shit and left
All well and good until Batman stumbles across the strange town a few years later and discovers a boy that looks identical to his dead son Jason.
(This didn’t start out as Danny is Jason from another world but why not)
Danny does NOT appreciate a second billionaire stalker, especially when the guys kids start joining in.
They show up at random times and days until another guy throws his hat in the ring
Some asshole with a red helmet that keeps accusing him of being a clone has tried to kill him at least 5 times that week.
Danny just wants to fill out college applications in peace, despite the fact that no one seems to recognize any of the college names that pop up when he googled engineering schools.

Phantomish Rogues
Team Phantom get ripped from their home universe into the DCverse. With no money or real ID's in this world. Now thats a problem.
Another big problem is that Danny is badly injured and his core kinda put him into a deep cryo sleep. He needs to rest and gather ectoplasm.
Bigger problem Team Phantom have no clue how to get home because they don't know how to decode the Fenton Portal blue-prints, not even Jazz who at the time didn't pay attention to her parents portal work anymore by the time they finished it. The only one who does have an idea is Danny!
Biggest problem, they landed in a place called Gotham that seems to be overrun with actual villains and heroes? (vigilantes). And for some odd reason many of them seem to find them no matter where the Team goes to hide.
Until they can get their hands on a safe space, tech, and money, Team Phantom might have to go a bit Rogue/Villainous if they wanna keep Danny safe until he wakes up.

Dragons Rising really is the best sequel series for diehard Lloyd enjoyers, cause, yes, we acknowledge that he has panic attacks, crappy mental health, and also he's the grandson of God, but you know what really gets me? Lloyd is tired.
He's plagued with migraines (the visions are also migraines don't @ me), he's bemoaning about never getting a good nights sleep, hes struggling so hard to be a good leader and clearly doesn't have all the answers, and he's just some 20yo who's been cursed with saving the world since he was younger than his own students.
That's the realest way Lloyd could've ever been written in a future-series. It's what he is. But he's not angry (usually), he's not telling everyone to deal with it themselves, and he's not giving up. I love when Lloyd has finally had enough, but the real, genuine Lloyd? He'd never stop caring. He cares so much it'd kill him. He's tired and by god does he refuse to quit. I love that kid. Please get him a warm blanket

"Severus was mean to his students."
Ma'am, Severus was a man in his thirties with three jobs, responsible for teaching seven different year groups, grading their assignments and exams, performing his regular teaching duties, working as a spy for Dumbledore (constantly risking his safety and life to infiltrate the inner circle of the most dangerous man in history), working for the Order of the Phoenix, and keeping an eye on a group of reckless brats who spent 24/7 putting themselves in danger because they were incapable of accepting the word “no.” As a result, he constantly had to put himself at risk 24/7 to make sure they didn’t end up dead. And in the midst of all that workplace exploitation, for which he received literally zero incentives or rewards, those same kids, who had him at his wit’s end because he was already drowning in underpaid work, were the ones backtalking him, suspecting him, stalking him to see what he was "up to," or simply challenging him constantly.
I mean, it’s not that I don’t care that Severus’s treatment of his students was questionable—it’s just that I’m 28 years old, with a job, debts to pay, bills to manage, and adult responsibilities. The mere thought of having not one but two extra jobs, on top of all that, which also put my life at risk, and having to deal with the nonsense of a bunch of insufferable kids, honestly gives me major anxiety. So, I can understand why another adult, ten times more overworked than I am and with triple the responsibilities, wouldn’t have the time, patience, or energy to be nice to kids who either just added more work to his plate (Neville) or only contributed to his stress and frustration with their awful attitudes.
Severus wasn’t a poor, innocent soul or a victim, but he was a dysfunctional adult with an overwhelming workload and terrible working conditions who was completely fed up with everything. And honestly, no one can understand that better than other dysfunctional adults with too much work, low pay, and a similar level of frustration with life.
