#THIS TOOK ME FOREVER RAAHHHH#i had help from my mom with stuff like the parts of the traje de mestiza which is the outfit shes wearing#this trend looks so much fun and i wanted to join in.. im first gen canadian though so ive never been to the philippines and only#know thru stories of my parents growing up. im proud of my heritage but there are some things i didnt grow up with that#make me feel disconnected from my culture. so it was nice to talk to my mom abt it and ask for her help with this :3#the pleated tapis is meant to resemble her skirt.. i had no way of adding her stockings but i noticed the piano key design#so i used that for the saya. the bandana is meant to resemble her hairties and shes wearing bakya wooden slippers with embroidery#i kinda wanted to add the panuelo to resemble her tie as a finishing touch but i forgor ;w; just imagine it i guess#my mom really likes this. shes a little confused abt the blue hair and i had to explain her hair is like that but she thinks shes pretty#originally i wanted her holding the woven pamaypay and fanning herself because ITS HOT ITS 25 FUCKING DEGREES TODAY#but i couldnt get the pose right so i settled for this. i wanna draw her and brazilian miku high fiving ill do that tmrw#my art#myart#hatsune miku#miku worldwide#philippines#vocaloid#miku

one time in an rp server i watched someone (vocally) make an asexual character, then one rp later give up and change the character's sexuality because they "couldn't do it" (make a character without a romantic arc)

#impulsesv#skizzleman#hermitcraft#soul eater#✩ | bonnies scribbles!#THEIR OUTFITS ARE BASED ON ALL THE COOL PARTS OF DRUMLINE OUTFITS I SAW!!#i cant remember how wavelengths work exactly but i think it would be so cool if at least some of them resembled songs -#- so that this pair could work for their combo move!!!#they can use each other in weapon form and carry around 'decoy sticks' that look like each others weapon form to make a pair when fighting#for sure close range weapons for a bunch of moves!!! i imagine the 'drum' would be their opponents body#they hit pressure points -- im really just looking at a deep/loud sound - like the one where you can feel your whole heart shaking#i think they would for sure also hit points in the ground as well - like in structures that have weak points - especially with Skizz#imp's little holder on the top bar of his outfit is magnetic and can move!! it usually holds sticks or other smaller weapons!#they usually look for a meister who can drum/they think has any rhythm as opposed to using each other#their wavelengths are extremely different - which makes their combo move: Polyrhythm Rupture! very hard to pull off#Imp is for sure used for closer percise range - while Skizz is used as chaotic sporadic damage#yay for youtube helping me figure out things!

more clothing (featuring Mafuyu and Haruka)
#two things that bug me:#One: the match up. Previous duos were reasonable and in unit. But...I think Mafuyu and Haruka never interacted in a meaningful manner#I can reason it with them being both seawings..which makes sens but it's such a stupid compromise ong#Second: I initally wanted to go with my usual two designs but this time I noticed that they actually matched quite well so ig it's 1.5#nitpicks aside: more trying things out. I was a bit unsure how to tackle seawing clothes since cloth wouldn't be handy underwater...#but then I thought “But what about making cloth that resemble radiolaria?” and threw all reason away I suppose#It's fancy but not fully it...the armor was fun though. i don't fully think the shoulderplates are that well executed but still it's good i#I do think I'll do art like those without the clothing though#It helps portray bodyshapes better like how Mafuyu's bulkier than Haruka. thoughts on nightwing variants :O
SwiftWings: there's some debate on whether or not they're considered true nightwings, - very slender build, fast and agile in the air (NW kingdom preferred aerial fighters), weak ground combatants, cousins to the RavenWing variant (least connected to the og NW) - longest wingspan, but also the narrowest wingspan. The "tail feather" scales present at the hip in the RavenWing variant merged with the bottom membrane of the wing, causing that spike you see - "tail feather" scales on tip of tail - typically dwell on cliffs - pupils are large and round, iris is typically dark browns, greys and black in color - least amount of star scales
RavenWings: "cousins" to SwiftWings - second largest (on average) - like SwiftWings, exhibit being moonborn with silvery markings on body (like magpies) - has "tail feather" specialized scales on hips and tip of tail - only NW variant where the back scales and spikes merge - pupils are small and round, iris can range from golden yellow to pale green PantherWings: AKA the OG NightWings - silent fliers - strongest fire breath - strongest ground combatant - subtle spots and stripes on body and wings - darkest in color of all NW variants, best equipped for hunting on ground - Diamond pupil- eye colors typically hang out on the warm side of the color wheel, but cool colours have been observed
StarWings: Rarest NW variant - most prominent crest of spikes - most amount of star scales - closely related to OG NW variant - when moonborn, stronger than average powers - shortest but broadest wings - scales reflect the night sky they were born under
