i want to say first of all that i fully respect a community's/denomination's/culture's right to have closed practices. i am not entitled to other people's traditions, and when i am a guest in a space i understand that everything is not automatically for me. and i know i do not have to understand to respect.

and also! when i go to a catholic church and can't receive communion i want to fall on the floor weeping. what do you mean i can't have him he's right there. sorry my baptism was the wrong kind of baptism. i'm hungry and you want me to become someone else before being fed.

Small witchy pro tip: if you worship or work with a deity with a specific animal association, you could give origami a go and fold the particular god/goddess's animal to put on their altar.

That is if you have an altar for the deity in question.

Anti-JKR people better not believe in god or angels or anything, because ever since i've fully embraced my Rowlingmania it's like life has kept rewarding me by throwing me golden opportunities at every turn and in the exact order i needed them. What was the likelyhood of me getting to re-attempt to pass my licence now, entirely for free and at the exact time i was thinking of trying again? Naturally very low but i guess those JKR-shaped elves work tirelessly to make my individual life awesome.

Still working on the little reading/plant room overall but I finished the wall mural in time to enjoy it for Anthesteria! This whole thing was outside of my usual style and I'm beyond happy with how it turned out.

Done by sketching the design out with chalk, making and cutting out leaf stencils then filling in leftover spaces with random fiddly bits and cleaning lines up afterward with the main wall color.

"Chaise lounge" was faked using a cushioned chair I already had with a thrifted ottoman and cunningly arranged pillows. The blanket IS amazing and was another thrift find. Next steps are book shelves, more plant stands, and setting up a wall of random art prints.

So this is just a silly idea I had for a TGCF Major Arcana tarot deck. Idk if its something I’d take the time to actually do or not. I saw a piece of fanart yesterday- a stand alone tarot card for Justice and I was been mulling it around all evening trying to decide who I would pick for each card if I were to (hypothetically) make a deck. By the time I sketched them I realized I completely forgot about Quan Yizhen and Yin Yu and had a hard time placing them. I know its super rough- hopefully you can tell what’s on each card (hence the name labels), but anyways feel free to share what you’d do different or add or if you think someone else would fit a card better. I’d be interested to hear!
