No More! It's Time to Rally!
I'm officially calling it, to all of the cardiophile community here on Tumblr! I say no more! For too long, female users especially have been pushed around and harassed to an illegal amount, pushing and breaking our limits. This recent string of harassment has exploited the vulnerable and left them scared to an illegal degree. Some have been dehumanized to their heart and sex, others have been doxxed and give their exact location. When users aren't seemingly-purposefully insensitive about being unable to understand how posting again can be so hard, they're threatened and/or insulted. This isn't the full case, but it gives an idea on what has become of our community by one or a handful of people who often exploit the anon system because they know they will get an answer and attention when they don't flood DMs. For as long as I had been on here, this community breathed some beautiful new life into my own and I had met many wonderful people in every way imaginable. I have, too, seen the occasional fool, but I have never seen things like this nor have I seen it so bad. Even non-cardiophiles who look into heartbeats are being dragged into our situation and put in the crossfire. I say no more! No more! No more! No more! No more! This is my righteous anger, and I ask- No, I'm genuinely beyond asking. This is too important. So I demand it! It's time we raise the banner and wave it high! This is our community! Let's take it back!! I call to EVERYBODY in Tumblr's cardiophile community! It's time! We will rally and unite, and defend our family, our home, and protect our lives from these harassers, if it's not one person! We will not let them tear us down or turn against each other and we will not compromise! But we can only truly do this if we do it together!
I'm calling for every member on here who is still here! If you're sick of this, voice yourself in defiance. This is what we'll do for now until these harassers are banned and peace is returned:
- No answering toxic anons - Block harassing DMs and report the sender. - Pool together every last bit of information, no matter how irrelevant it may seem, we have collectively until we can pinpoint who this person or these people are and where they're coming from, so we can ban them and make this community safer. - Never act unless with absolute certainty so we don't turn on each other and accidentally ban an innocent user. - Never harass or insult a suspect or anybody who might be guilty, it will only breed more harm and toxicity and give these harassers what they want. - Never ever let them push us around or make us feel afraid, angry or insecure again. Ever. These harassers feed on this and the attention like vampires. The time is now, people! Stand together or be afraid. We won't know if something, anything, will work unless we try and never give up. Which would you rather do? Because we are not powerless and I won't let anybody feel that way, much less be made to feel that way.
I stand

Yandere Jouno with a runaway darling
So say by some miracle Jouno’s darling escaped, he would be furious but mostly worried sick. The only way she could possibly escape is when he was off at work as a hunting dog and he left something out by accident, bobby-pin or something along those lines to pick the lock with. His work keeps him busy so he can’t just go off to find her. So he pulls a few strings in his position of the military police and has her escape filed as a “missing persons” case. It truly doesn’t take long after for him to find her.
She’ll be walking after getting off the train in a completely new town, far away from where Jouno kept her. Everything will seem alright, peaceful even, that is until a police officer approaches her and asks her a few questions, he’s kind, has no idea what he’s doing in reality, in his mind he’s just trying to help someone who was reported as missing. After the mini accidental heart attack from the unknowing police officer, Jouno’s darling will go off on her own into town and the officer to report what he saw back at the station, right into the records which Jouno has access to.
His darling may stay in that town for a few days or even a few hours after Jouno finds out, depends on how upset he is and how willing he is to play a game. But either way his darling will come back to whatever small hotel she’s staying in to see her door slightly ajar, and her heartbeat goes crazy, she knows it’s him, she knows he’s here. She doesn’t dare take another step closer to the door, so she slowly and quietly as she possibly can, takes a step back away from the door, only for her back to collide with a another person who wasn’t there before. As soon as she feels arms wrap around her waist, pulling her into an embrace so that the back of her head leans against a scarlet clothed chest, it’s over. She can only glance up to see Jouno’s smiling face looking down at her.
“Oh dear, seems that you ran off. I can only imagine what could have happened to you if I didn’t find you. Come on now darling, time to go home.”
—————————
I definitely see Jouno more as a patronizing and protective yandere with very very slight sadistic tendencies rather than just a full on sadistic yandere. Mostly because of that one line where he says he gets more joy in protecting innocents than punishing the guilty (while he still does get pleasure from that). In his eyes no one is more innocent than his darling and he wants to protect her more than anyone, and yes sometimes he has to punish her but he swears it for her own good, but it’s hard to deny to himself that he can help but smile when seeing her helpless form in pain, she wouldn’t survive without him.

Lily Orchard is stupid but what else is new?
So recently Lily has made a challenge that is as follows:
(Keep these rules in mind)
And AntGr and CrimsonEnder made a list of 50 of those charcters. Which Lily responded to and hoo boy is it bad.
Now I'm only going to be doing several characters from this list because 1. I don't know some of these characters and 2. I can only handle so much of Lily's stupidity. So with that out of the way let's get this show on the road.
Of course you'd put N here because you didn't understand his story to begin with. N definitely does fall under number 2 because he was raised by Ghetsis. You know... THE LEADER OF TEAM PLASMA! I've said this before, but I'll say it again N essentially grew up in a cult. That's not even mentioning that in black and white 2 they show that some of Team Plasma really did think they were freeing pokemon. You see part of Team Plasma split because some followed N's ideologies and others followed Ghetsis. They have a whole safehouse in Driftveil City where they protect pokemon separated from their trainers. But yeah N's ideology was totally swept under the rug guys.
First of all, Donkey Kong was actually a villain. It was in his very first game where he kidnapped Pauleen. You know.... this one. You were probably around when it came out Lily.:
So technically Donkey Kong is qualified for this list believe it or not.
As for Dedede and Meta Knight their case is quite simple.
In Dedede's case in the game Kirby's Nightmare In Dreamland. Dedede literally breaks the Star Rod that powers the Fountain of Dreams. Which allows the people of dreamland to have dreams, but since the Star Rod no longer powers it there's no dreams. However Dedede did this because he was trying to keep Nightmare from absorbing the Fountain Of Dream's power and taking over the world. Nightmare is cosmic deity that's evil will destroy Dreamland if he got out. So in that instance Dedede does have a point. After all if the Star Rod isn't in the fountain then Nightmare won't come out and kill everyone.
As for Meta Knight's case. Well... just look at fucking Meta Knightmare. The reason why Meta Knight wants to conquer Dreamland is because Dreamland is lazy. While that might not seem like a good point, consider that Dedede is stealing food from the people and how there's some sort of cosmic threat every year or so. You kinda start to see his point a little bit. But if that doesn't work then how about in Squeak Squad where he steals the chest from Kirby and Daroach. The chest had Dark Nebula inside of it and was sealed away. Therefore having someone try and open it would be a big fucking problem.
Last but not least... Edgeworth:
Before we get into why this point is bullshit I'd like to bring up this ask:
I bring this up because it proves that Lily doesn't know what the fuck she's talking about. You see Edgeworth isn't just a state prosecutor. HE'S A CHIEF PROSECUTOR! He's not just some joe shmo. Also really, prosecutor can't be evil? May I call Manfred Von Karma to the stand:
In case you don't know. This man is a prosecutor that had a perfect record. All of his defendants were served the guilty sentence. However the only reason why they were found guilty was because he forged evidence. Meaning Manfred is responsible for putting people innocent in prison. He even went so far as to murder Edgeworth's father. And guess who was his protege?
That's right none other than Miles Edgeworth himself!
Meaning that up till Phoenix had arrived Edgeworth was doing the exact same thing Von Karma did. Granted not forging evidence, but still putting innocent people in jail because of he wanted to keep his reputation and he didn't care for justice. Therefore in the first game Edgeworth was the villain. Whether you like it or not. And because Lily never specified that the villain had to be redeemed or not Edgeworth is viable enough to be on this list. So check fucking mate Lily.

Dating Sam Winchester headcanons.
Requested: I was wondering if you could write something supernatural with Sam Winchester, what kind of boyfriend would Sam be? Thank you anon, made that as expanded headcanons starting from meeting and going further in the relationship.
A little NSFW in point 16.
***
1.Bookshops dates
I mean come on, all things considered I am pretty sure you would meet him in the library rather than any place else. And even if you weren’t actually reaching for mythological monsters encyclopaedia or the yearbook of the city from 1456, you were bound to meet at the counter. It wasn’t that big bookshop after all and Sam, with his tall, muscular silhouette was definitely filling most of the space, forcing you to sneak under his arm to get what you were aiming for. Not that you complained, cause he does smell good.
2. Soul longing – as silly as that may sound. Ok listen up. He had women, that’s for sure. But one night stands is only good for so long. And unlike Dean he needed stability from the beginning. Sam is not a player nor a playboy. And as for you? You’re not just gonna jump into the bed of a very handsome, tall and broad shouldered man you met briefly while buying a book, right?
Even if you can imagine so many things he could do with those hands….
Even if you can tell just by looking at him that he’s got enough experience and skills to keep you up all night and –
“Miss? Miss are you all right?”
Damn, seem like you just spaced out in front of the guy who’s been currently eyeing you with those deep eyes piercing right into your soul.
Impossible to forget and even more impossible to let go.
3. Cliché scenario – you actually became a part of team free will after getting into a demon related accident serving the part of a lady in distress perfectly. Got hurt so bad the boys Sam felt guilty enough to look for you for a couple weeks while getting too attached.
4. Obviously wanting to keep you out of the family business. Too bad he got himself a persistent badass, who refused to sit cases out. You may not be a hunter, but you’re a girl. And who’s better than a woman when it comes to making scenes and getting man to mansplain to the poor, innocent soul that knows nothing? The first time you faked cried he fell for it all the way and never questioned your skills again.
5. Probably making you get an anti-possession tattoo. Just for safety, of course. And holding your hand all time while getting it done, caressing your palm in that special reassuring way. And then kissing it better after, regardless of the place it was inked on.
6. Funny thing he was hesitant to put a tag on your relationship. At first. Can’t blame him given all that happened to his mother and Jess. But his emotional side finally took over and he blurted something in the middle of an argument.
“You’re staying here tonight.”
“The hell I am, Sam.”
“I’m not asking.”
‘You’re not my boss.”
“Well I am your boyfriend!”
“Did you just-? Sam? Sam, did you just - ?”
You never got to finish that sentence. And just that one time you stayed behind.
Behind being on the backseat, no further.
7. Bantering over silly stuff while making Dean crazy, cause since you two got together there’s no one to bring him pie.
8. Knowledge duels – as long as you pick the theme, cause no way you’re going against him in history or demonology. It is however possible to beat him in popculture or modern cinematography.
“How am I supposed to know all those –“
“Educate yourself Sammy.”
“Oh I will educate you on something –“
9. Merciless teasing from Dean about stuff that should not ever be his business.
“Hey, whose underwear is that?”
“Brought you two some protection.”
“Hey maybe we can get a threesome?”
“Is that a hickey on your neck Y/N? God, girl, you are loud.”
(but we all know that’s the way Dean’s inner soft side is showing)
10. Doing research while laying head on his chest, tracing patterns on his skin. (making him distracted and locked up in another room until you start to behave.)
11. Doing research in the various libraries. You have no idea but he raises his gaze from the book way too often to actually comprehend any of the text. The way you are frowning, scrunching your nose and the way your eyes shine every time you come upon a clue or a helpful fact seem to be more interesting.
12. Fights – oh, damn, it was bound to happen right?
Arguing with Sam is impossible. He always keeps his cool, not letting the blood boil no matter how many needles you gives him. Sometimes it feels like he’s wearing that stupid armour turning into stone just to infuriate you.
But not for long, cause Sammy can’t stand to see you hurt or broken. That’s not him. It doesn’t matter if you started the fight (you’re being reckless, you’re gonna get killed, you need some rest) or he was the part to initiate it (you’re not the hunter, I know better, I’ll handle it) he’ll be all up for communication. Talking through.
Being a Winchester comes with toughness and roughness sometimes, but Sam doesn’t deny having feelings he want to work on. With you.
It’s not a perfect relationship but you’re patching it up with all the best and most resistant fabric.
13. Subtle hand holding while driving on a hunt. You may be in the backseat while both brothers take the front ones, but who cares. The blank between the driver and shotgun is for something, right? And who cares about the gearbox?
14. Forehead kisses and cuddling – you have actually seen Sam right? If that’s not a giant teddy bear than I don’t know who is. Definition of safety and warmth. Just imagine nuzzling into him with those strong arms around you keeping you safe from any demon, angel, witch, wendigo, shapeshifter or whatever else monster might come for you.
15. Steamy make out session in the impala just to get some privacy. Honestly I believe at some point this would be used as a threat for alone time.
"Get out Dean.”
“ Mmm. Nope. Not happening. I got stuff to do here.”
“I said get out.”
“Make me.”
“Well I think you should go and check on your car before I take care of the backseat.”
Wide eyes, rushing out and not getting back for hours.
Mission completed.
16. Getting intimate with Sam is indescribable. You don’t even need words and yet he seems to understand everything your body tries to convey. Soft, slow, sensual and tender love making while looking into your eyes, refusing to let your gaze drop? Tracing your body and kissing all over your soft skin? Making you feel fragile, small and delicate no matter your size?
All done.
I see Sam as a soft dom. He could break your boundaries easily and probably would, but never to the point of hurting you.
Rough play, BDSM, kinks, making love on any flat surface possible? Not exactly his style.
Stretching you out, wrapping your legs around his waist, pressing you into the mattress, marking you? Absolutely.
He’s fine with pleasuring you, getting to know what turns you on (hitting and finding all the sensitive spots that makes you mewl and rake nails down his body), never failing to make you see stars.
He may not be talking too much and not use a lot of dirty talk, but hey, a few thrusts, a few flicks of his tongue, his muscles flexing under your fingersand the feel of him so freaking deep and you forget something such as words exist.
17. Getting just the right amount of aftercare cuddles, kisses and hugs. Duties are calling and Sam may be a bit of a workaholic, but you’re on top of the “to-do-list.” Taking just the right amount of time to help you get back to reality, getting your floating soul back into your thoroughly loved out body by caresses, kisses, touches, strokes. Whatever you need.
He loves you.

nobody thinks you’re a savior for jumping to conclusions about the neil gaiman situation.
did we forget that innocent until proven guilty isn’t about supporting a criminal, but protecting victims? nobody’s ever right until a just ruling is made with ample evidence and a fair trial. nobody is superior for blindly advocating for one side or another. let’s face it, there’s so little information, from a frankly biased site. this is about the bigger picture, which we genuinely do not know as of yet.
that is absolutely not to say that we do not listen to the victim’s stories and try to help them find resolution and peace. wanting to know more isn’t the same as justifying a 60 year old fucking a 20 year old stranger. rape is disgusting and wrong. some people need to get it through their heads that not immediately believing everything you see on the internet is not akin to saying that you believe rape is okay.
but as with any case of sa, anyone who tries to argue that blindly siding with the victim is the only way to be right is a clown. that’s not how justice works. he could be a rapist, he could not be. we simply do. not. know. enough. unfortunately, there’s so much grey area with accusation and denial, meaning nobody will ever agree which side is right. neutrality until one party is clearly shown to have the most evidence to prove their side is the most fair to everyone involved.
about good omens: you have the right to cry out and grieve for a beloved story. this has been such a safe and supportive community, and it’s horrifying that it may be tainted like this. it has never been problematic before. honestly, we’re one of the most tame fandoms of all- that is why we are upset. of course good omens is going to be brought up in this talk and that does not equate to ignoring survivors of sa. saying it does is stupid.
in conclusion, i want to know more. we deserve to be able to make a properly educated decision. the fate of many people’s safe place rests on this.
and if he is proven and put on the list of registered sex offenders? dear lord we will deal with the implications then. for now, nobody fucking knows. go touch grass and stop telling people they’re bad for liking good omens amidst this uncertainty. this fandom doesn’t like the allegations either.

On the morning of Monday 29 July, a contingent of Israel’s military police – the agency responsible for policing the security forces – showed up at Sde Teiman, an Israeli military base in the Negev Desert that now serves as a prison camp for Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. The military police had come to arrest nine of the soldiers – apparently all reservists – who serve at the camp. They were wanted for their involvement in the gang rape of a prisoner who was subsequently taken to the camp’s infirmary with severe rectal injuries.
(Normally I would add something about innocent until proven guilty, but on those exceedingly rare occasions when the Israeli authorities arrest an Israeli in uniform for offences against Palestinians, this can be considered incontrovertible proof they are guilty as sin). The soldiers resisted arrest, and a stand-off between them and the military police contingent erupted.
Almost immediately, Israeli politicians took to the airwaves to denounce the arrest operation, proclaiming the rapists to be heroes – precisely because they had gang-raped a Palestinian prisoner – and called upon their supporters to flood Sde Teiman to prevent the soldiers from being taken into custody.
After protracted negotiations the soldiers agreed to be led away by the military police and were transported to the Beit Lid detention facility near Tulkarm in the northern West Bank.
But no sooner had the military police and their detainees left than a mob broke into the prison camp to protest the arrests. Not just any mob, but one that included government ministers, members of parliament, soldiers in uniform, and various others.
Later that day similar scenes were repeated at the Beit Lid prison. Although breaking into or out of a prison is considered a serious violation of the law, thus far not a single individual has been arrested.
The Sde Teiman prison camp has elements of both Abu Ghraib, the US torture center in Iraq, and a Gestapo interrogation center.
Among the documented abuses, based on testimonies of both former prisoners and prison staff, are torture, including electric shocks, severe beatings, and various forms of disorientation; severe malnutrition and dehydration; amputations after the very prolonged use of zip-ties that have been deliberately tightened to block circulation to hands and feet; denial of basic medical care; denial of toilet facilities; surgeries without anaesthetic; surgeries performed by unqualified medical students to gain experience; and very much else.
You may have read the highly credible accounts emanating from Sde Teiman or seen images/videos of former prisoners incarcerated there. Several dozen Palestinians have been killed at the camp, through torture or denial of basic needs. It bears recollection that the war crime of torture is considered a legal practice in Israel, and has been confirmed as such by its supreme court, most notably in 1987.
Secondly, Israel considers Palestinians to be unlawful combatants who are not entitled to the protections offered by customary law on such matters.
And additionally, Israel’s most senior leaders have engaged in a systematic campaign of demonization and dehumanization of Palestinians, and of those suspected of membership in Hamas in particular, which amounts to a license to torture, rape, and kill. The arrested soldiers were essentially told to do as they please with Palestinians and assured that, per standard practice, there would be no consequences of any sort.
At one level one can therefore understand the astonished response of the rapists when told they would be arrested for conduct that has been officially sanctioned on a systematic basis.
The case also reflects deeper changes within Israel. Its military has, to put it mildly, admittedly never had a reputation for discipline, but it functioned as the central institution of Israeli state and society. Israel has on this basis been described as an army with a state rather than a state with a military. But that is beginning to change.
As Geoffrey Aronson has argued, recent years have seen the emergence of a new class of Israeli politicians, most notably National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who in contrast to many of their predecessors did not enter and succeed in politics on the strength of a military career, but rather built successful careers through opposition to and delegitimization of Israel’s security establishment. Their preferred armed force is not a regular army, but rather militias and mobs of brownshirts. And that’s what we saw on 29 July.
It’s not so much a turning point as visible evidence that the process is alive, well, and rapidly gaining momentum. That it should burst onto the scene in defense of gang rape should therefore not come as a particular surprise.
There are many other notable elements to this issue, not least of which would be the observation that every accusation is a confession. Another would be that Government ministers and members of parliament rank somewhat higher in the pecking order than falsely-accused UNRWA staff.
Yet one angle that is particularly interesting has to do with Israel’s concerns about sustaining its impunity with respect to its dealings with the Palestinian people.
As @reider has pointed out, Israel’s Chief of Staff, Herzi Halevi, in his condemnation of the riots asserted that military police investigations are essential to protect Israeli soldiers “at home and abroad”.
“Abroad”, @reider points out, “obviously meaning The Hague” where the International Criminal Court (ICC) and International Court of Justice (ICJ) are based.
Thanks to efforts initiated by the United Kingdom, which argued that the ICC should only prosecute Palestinians, the Court is now permitting multiple challenges to its jurisdiction over Israeli crimes perpetrated in the occupied Palestinian territories.
A particularly specious set of arguments has been put forth by Germany, arguably the most experienced state when it comes to the crimes enumerated in the Rome Statute.
One of Berlin’s arguments is that the ICC should not pursue arrest warrants until Israel has completed the commission of its crimes against the Palestinian people and considers its business concluded.
The other argument concerns “complementarity”, the principle according to which the ICC can and will only pursue prosecutions where national judiciaries fail to conduct such procedures themselves
In its paeans to Israel’s judiciary, Berlin conveniently neglects that every independent study of Israel’s judiciary with respect to crimes committed by Israelis against Palestinians has concluded that the primary role of this apparatus has been to enable, legitimize, and whitewash the crimes concerned. Even were this not the case, the way ICC complementarity works is that the national judiciary would have to credibly investigate and, if appropriate, prosecute and convict the same individuals for the same crimes they stand accused of by ICC.
In other words, Germany’s desperately furious efforts to defend that other genocidal regime will prove of little use to Netanyahu and Gallant.
But Halevi, a representative of Israel’s traditional military elite – let’s call him an Israeli Prussian – sees the writing on the wall, and he and his fellow officers don’t want to share Netanyahu and Gallant’s fate. So they are creating an argument for complementarity.
In a rational society Halevi would be hailed for his foresight and criticized for waiting so long to act.
But a society where government ministers, members of parliament, uniformed soldiers, and a mob of brownshirts riot at two separate locations on a single day in defense of gang rape cannot be considered rational.

THE DARK FEMININE IN ASTROLOGY : LILITH, VENUS, MOON, 4TH/8TH/12TH HOUSE, SATURN
These observations are my own. Keep in mind that placements can have lots of meanings. Now we are exploring the planets/houses through the prism of the dark feminine.
Lilith
The Goddess who never submitted. Lilith is a biblical figure. The first wife of Adam who was made by God to be a counterpart for him. She was not like Eve. Lilith joined Lucifer. She did not want to only be Adam's wife but something more. Lilith is the wild woman, she is our hidden sensual pleasure. She is the keeper of our sexuality, ambition and guilty pleasure. She shows us what we need, not just what we want. More primal, raw and unfiltered. Her sign and placement show us where we like to be naughty trendsetters and where we feel comfortable expressing our sexuality and dark feminine. A Lilith in Aquarius placed in the 4th house shows a person who explores their sensuality behind closed doors. They like the privacy of their own home (4th) and may want to experiment with crazy things (Aquarius). This person could be a case of lady/shy in the streets and crazy in the sheets. Similar to a siren this person lures people in the depths of their ocean and shocks them by their unorthodox ways.
Venus
Awww dear Venus. Our sweet and dainty side. NO. Venus also shows us what type of masculine archetype we like but also who we want to be dominated by. This is the part of the dark feminine we overlook sometimes. Venus in Aries feminine energies attracted to masculine energies can crave dominance in a very primal way and with a tiny bit of pain from more traditionally masculine men (I don't judge, trust me. My Venus is here 😉). I've also noticed this placement likes men in uniforms and "Mafia Boss" types. Venus in Scorpio may want a deep, mysterious and hidden lover. It does not mean we attract males with those qualities or of that sign, it mostly means we like those characteristics. Mars shows more what type of men we attract without trying but that's for another post.
Moon
This is the sweet side of the feminine but can also show what lies beneath and unconsciously seductive qualities. Like Cancer Moon, can attract masculines through their nurturing nature, big heart 😉 (and boobs) , intuitive insights and innocent/baby looks.
Saturn
This may surprise you but Saturn can assist us in figuring out parts of our femininity that have been hidden, shamed and repressed by the masculine. Saturn is the "father". It could even represent internalised misogyny. In Greek Mythology he was Kronos (chronos/χρόνος=time), the father of the gods who ate his own children so they wouldn't take away his power. He was overturned by his son Jupiter/Zeus. Saturn in Libra in the 2nd house could symbolise being shamed by others because we like to own feminine things, like a lot of cosmetics or repressing our more feminine values and our love for women/feminine beauty etc.
4th House
It can show what hides until we are comfortable. The protective cocoon. Similarly to the moon it is our deeper emotional abilities and a part of our dark feminine we intentionally hide from others but are aware of it behind closed doors. The type of safe place our dark feminine can be explored. Aries here can show that doing traditionally masculine things, like martial arts, actually helps us discover our dark femininity.
8th House
What turns the feminine on and brings out our darker side. Taboo fantasies. What makes us feel full and abundant. Gemini here can represent oral and 3-ways. Pisces can look for feet and water play.
12th House
Virgin. That's the word that comes to mind. The untapped part of our femininity. The siren part of our chart. A certain darkness lurks around the depths. This is a virgin right before she awakens to her sexuality and sensual power. A part of ourselves we don't touch for years and sometimes our Venusian archetype of manliness brings out of nowhere. Let's say we have Libra here. We don't realize our need for sweetness, partnership and femininity. Think about it, a strong and cold unapproachable Scorpio Rising who craves partnership and lovey-dovey things. Fears around partnership can also be found here. Like, will I ever find true love. Also, sexual dreams.

Hey I'm not done analysing AJ yet. Here's another one on it's theme --
The overarching theme of Apollo Justice (AA4) is your lack of autonomy. You are not the protagonist of this game. Your decisions don't really matter in the plot; yes, you make the choices which progress the game, you're the one puzzling out the truth to these cases, but you aren't the one who is in control. This is emphasized through small hints in the dialogue (Apollo knows he's out of place between Phoenix and Kristoph's spat, he feels Klavier leading him along both in Wocky Kitaki's case and in Machi Tobaye's case, and Phoenix once again is the one truly in control for the final case), narrative choices (no matter how hard you try, you must present that forged card. You have to present the envelope recreation. You have to present that forged diary page.), and even how we're connected to each client.
Each of our clients wasn't our choice to take. Kristoph was going to defend Phoenix until Phoenix requested for Apollo to take the lead. Alita comes to us only after Trucy hands her a flyer. Klavier tells us that Machi requested our services. Phoenix assigns us to Vera's case without telling us until the last moment.
Even in the flashback case, Phoenix didn't exactly choose to be Zak's lawyer. Kristoph would have defended him if not for Zak's deciding to remove him and choose someone else. (I can't explain what Phoenix is doing there, but it's possible Zak called around in his search for a new attorney and just so happened to land on Phoenix.)
Our clients are the ones who chose us in this whole game. We had no say in the matter; we're just here to keep the plot moving, to walk through the doors which were opened for us in the end.
This is, of course, not followed through in Dual Destinies or Spirit of Justice (because those games are furthering the themes of the Investigations games). It is, however, followed up in Dai Gyakuten Saiban / The Great Ace Attorney.
The very first decision we make in TGAA is about who will take on our client. Who is going to take up our defence? It's a non-choice, of course, because Ryuunosuke is panicking and wants to protect his friend. He can't trust that his best friend believes in his innocence, and through the course of the trial, has to stand more and more with this choice he's foolishly made.
We see his conviction to make this decision evolve through each case. He's fully willing to prove his own innocence once more in the second case without even thinking about it. He's pressured into defending his client in the third case, showing his own conviction faltering as it's slammed into his face that his choices no longer matter. He grapples with what it means to actually decide to trust one's client in the fourth case, deciding in the end to take that leap of faith due to his own faith in his best friend. And then the fifth case, he's the one actively choosing to defend his client, since she continuously tries to reject his help.
I really believe this is where the series would have gone had we kept the same themes from Apollo Justice into its sequels. An exploration on being told our choices don't matter, but then making those choices anyway because they do matter. It's the same sort of feeling that exists in Justice for All's final case; our decision on whether to plead Guilty or Innocent at the final hour before salvation arrives may be a non-choice, but it mattered to us. It mattered, even if the narrative pushed past it and didn't actually take it into account.
We're on the rails, but that doesn't mean what happens can't affect us. We might not have any sway in the narrative, might be led along right to each answer by the nose, but we're still choosing to continue. I think that does matter in the end.

An Analysis of Haruka’s MVs: Distance and Disability
Hello! I’ve recently fallen down the rabbit hole that is Milgram and I have been itching to make some completely normal and sane analysis posts. My silly alternate title for this was gonna be “Things About Haruka’s MVs That Just Make Sense: A Hyperfixation-fuelled Analysis”, because honestly my autistic brain has been having a field day over here.
I am in awe with just about every single music video in this project; the animation is incredible and each one packs so much carefully laid out information. But I have been rotating Haruka’s in my head constantly since I first watched them, and I have a lot of Thoughts. Not about whether he’s guilty or innocent/forgiven or unforgiven. Not about whether or not I can justify his murders. Just some straight up imagery and symbolism analysis, through the lens of disability.
Haruka’s disability has not been specified, but I am confident we can at least say he is neurodivergent. I feel like the cultural differences in names for several things e.g. ‘learning disability’ vs ‘learning difficulty’ will just invite unnecessary drama, and is a little pedantic. What does matter here is that Haruka's experience as a disabled person is heavily intertwined within his story and his motives.
So, without further ado... let’s get into this!
Trigger warnings/TW: I will be discussing ableism, eugenics and harm towards disabled people. Everything else will be related to the music videos ‘Weakness’ and ‘All Knowing and All Agony’, so any triggering content within them may also be mentioned. Read at your own discretion and stay safe!
Disability: some brief (important) historical context
It is only within the last few decades that those who are disabled have been ‘seen’ for the first time. A modern society is (ideally) expected to be built to include and accommodate for disability, and to acknowledge disabled people’s existence. But for many countries (even the ones making steps outlined above) this is still not the case. For a very, very long time, globally, that has not been the case.
For most disabled people, society makes it very clear that they are a burden to it and are better off not existing.
I’m going to make this section as succinct as possible because...it’s heavy stuff. But it’s important, and I want you all to get the gist of what I’m saying. The weight of it.
Let’s highlight a piece of history regarding IQ and eugenics, surrounding the publication and subsequent worldwide reception of ‘The Kallikak Family: A Study in the Heredity of Feeble-mindedness’ by Henry Herbert Goddard in 1913:
“In 1927, it was used as evidence in the case of Buck v. Bell, which culminated in a Supreme Court ruling that the involuntary sterilization of ‘mentally defective’ persons was not unconstitutional in the United States. By 1938, thirty-three US states had passed laws allowing for the forced sterilization of women with learning disabilities and twenty-nine had made sterilization compulsory for people who were thought to have genetic conditions. Many European countries followed suit: Denmark in 1929, then Norway in 1934, and after that Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Iceland, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Latvia, Hungary and Turkey.”
— Limburg, J. (2021) Letters To My Weird Sisters: On Autism and Feminism, p. 126
This history of a ‘sterilization law’ includes Japan, who between 1948 and 1996 enacted the Eugenics Protection Law which “authorised the sterilization of people with intellectual disabilities, mental illnesses or hereditary disorders.” According to the government, about 25,000 were sterilized.
SO. It’s important to bring this up. To establish how much disabled people are not wanted, just from their governments. Let alone society. To this day, disabled people are hidden away from the public by families that are ashamed of their existence.
Japanese culture values collectivism, and maintaining the harmony of a group...to the extent of excluding those that don’t fit into the mould. That are different.
The question is: where do they go? The ones that are publicly rejected?
Haruka and The Curious Case of Distant Waters
Okay that’s enough of the heavy real-world stuff! Time to delve into some...*checks notes*...heavy fictional stuff. Fun!
Haruka’s MVs prominently display themes of distance and separation through the motif of water, specifically being submerged underwater.
The name Haruka reinforces this concept as the specific kanji used (遥) translates to ‘distant’, ‘remote’ or ‘far away’. As there are many, many kanji choices for the name (including but not limited to: ocean/sea, eternity/permeance, clear/distinct/obvious, and spring/growth/cherry blossom) it feels like a particularly cruel and intentional choice to go with that one.
Through the exploration of this motif, we can see the extent in which Otherness/the state of being ‘Other’ drives Haruka to great lengths to close the distance and escape it.
What I noticed throughout both MVs (particularly AK&AA but note the beginning scene of Weakness), is that whenever Haruka looks at himself in a reflective surface (e.g. the vanity mirror, the fish tank), water either begins to rise and overwhelms him, or is already there and he appears submerged:
I think this is the “All-Knowing” part of AK&AA. He knows he’s different, and he knows there’s a huge ocean between him and his peers, his family, everyone. A disconnect when trying to listen and understand, but also when trying to be understood by others and listened to himself.
You know when you submerge your head in water, and your hearing gets all muffled and incomprehensible? And have you ever tried speaking underwater? You can’t, because if you open your mouth you’ll drown. It’ll just come out as bubbles rising to the surface.
I also think the bubbles symbolise rising tension, between what he wants and what he currently has. Bubbles are everywhere in these MVs, even in places where they shouldn’t logically be? Such as this scene, following the line “don’t wipe me out, don’t wipe me out”:
Immediately pans up to Haruka gasping for breath, droplets of water rising from...somewhere. For about a split second, and they’re gone.
This boy is really going through it. I’m getting an ‘emerging from the ocean before I drown’ vibe from this one folks. When the line that follows this scene is I can’t stop, I can’t stop”, what I’m REALLY hearing is “I can’t stop (killing) or I’ll drown”. This is his lifeboat, pulling him out from the depths of being neglected and hidden away, into the spotlight.
Some interesting images from Weakness in relation to that (of spotlights):
Anyways, onto the next point:
Blue to Orange: Water to...Nectar?
So, the orange liquid. It’s clearly representing blood, but I don’t think this is just a “danganronpa pink blood” situation of censoring/getting this video onto youtube without restrictions.
I think it’s most likely honey, specifically nectar.
The etymology of the word nectar shows its compounds translate to “death” and “overcoming”. Nectar is also called the drink of the gods, so it would make sense for it to be a ‘death-defeating’, immortalizing liquid.
For Haruka’s victims to contain nectar is very interesting. It reinforces that necessity to kill, to take the life of another, to sustain himself. To overcome the ‘living death’ he is experiencing by being hidden away from society.
This is his means of escape from drowning.
However, as we all know, things don’t turn out great for him. By the end of AK&AA Haruka is rejected once again by his mother, after which the door is shut (the light with it is gone too) and we’re met with this imagery:
The nectar floods the room, engulfing him much like the water from earlier.
There are many things we could take from this. One being that the nectar-gathering/killing-spree has clouded his vision; it’s so sweet, so sickly sweet and he’s addicted to the taste of attention, even if it’s very bad attention.
Who else has honey imagery in their MV again?
Oh, right.
Anyway, the nectar/honey situation could also be representing submerging into an even further level of distance. All that murder is gonna push people away, despite his motive being to close the gap between him and normal people. The 'ocean’ has lost clarity and become a maddening, delusional substance. After all, there is a type of honey literally called ‘mad honey’ known for its medicinal and hallucinogenic properties.
That’s enough about honey, though. Let’s move onto less unfortunate... oh, sorry, what was that? *checks notes*...Ah, yes. I meant to say, let’s move onto even more unfortunate symbolism:
The Necklace
So, this necklace. Haruka steals it from his mother’s belongings, and is his only material, physical connection to her. It is taken on the declaration of “making (her) love me again” and getting her attention once more, now he is no longer a child but a teenager closer to adulthood (at least, that’s what I consider the ‘shirt with a vest sweater and tie’ to represent. child him = the blue polo, teenager him = this one, adult him = an amalgamation of his teenager clothes).
I wasn’t sure if this was an opal or pearl/mother of pearl, but I’m leaning towards opal from the other depiction of it in Weakness:
Opals are fun because they can symbolise both good luck and bad luck, usually to do with whether it’s your birthstone. There’s something to be said of Haruka’s belief in his ‘misfortune’ and the superstition surrounding these gemstones.
But they are even more interesting for the powers they supposedly have; in medieval times the opal was considered the ‘patron of thieves’ for their ability to grant the wearer invisibility.
There is a deliciously sad irony to Haruka’s theft with that titbit of information.
Now, if this isn’t an opal, and it’s a pearl/mother of pearl there’s still some fun interpretation to be had! A little less sad, even. Pearls invoke strong imagery of the sea, of purity, and of a connection to the maternal. If this is the last thing he has relating to his mother, I can see this necklace representing a lifeline when he’s deep in the ocean. A reminder of why he’s doing all of this killing, and who it’s for.
His mother’s attention (or the idea of having a mother at all, any mother) is his driving force in life.
Speaking of that...
So We Really Need To Talk About That Fish Tank: AKA, Why Haruka’s Mom Wins ‘The Worst Parent of The Year’ Award
This fucking fish tank.
Okay, I’m gonna start by saying: I don’t think this is reading too far into things. When it takes an animation team months, sometimes years to create a 3-5 minute music video, and one as detailed as this...you don’t just wing it. There are storyboards, there are key frames and there are choices made down to the smallest of details.
From the sheer volume of animal/insect/fish décor that resides in the Sakurai household, you bet I’m gonna pay attention to what type of fish are in that fish tank.
For one thing, they live in saltwater. This is a marine tank, aka the harder choice of aquarium to have. I mean, way, WAY harder. For the experienced only.
These fish right here? One is a clownfish, and the other is a yellow boxfish.
Boxfish are a nightmare to keep alive. This article goes into more detail than I will, but all you need to know is: if there was ever a fish out of all the fish you could possibly want in your tank, this is the one to avoid like the plague.
They release deadly toxins when stressed, as a survival instinct. Boom. All your fish are dead. They need to eat a shit ton of food, but are notoriously clumsy swimmers and slow eaters. Boom. Starving, stressed out boxfish. Boxfish either dies from starvation or dies from stress and toxins.
For Haruka’s mom to have not just one of these fuckers, but a tank consisting ONLY OF MULTIPLE BOXFISH AND CLOWNFISH...
This is a high-maintenance tank. And it shows how much time and effort, how much care she puts into the things she loves.
How neglectful she is as a parent of a disabled child in contrast.
There’s something about the last scene between Haruka and his mother that reinforces this for me:
Haruka’s relationship with animals and himself: AKA, “why don’t I just become the damn fish tank?”
Let me backpedal a little bit. This subheading will make sense in a minute.
So, like I said earlier we have a lot of décor in this house relating to insects and fish. We also have a lot of pets. Both living and dead, taxidermized creatures in one household, proudly on display.
I think this may have created some confusion for Haruka regarding the value of animals being alive or dead, as in his perspective his mother values both equally. The fish in a tank may be full of alive creatures, but they’re still on display as if it’s artwork. Isn’t breaking the glass of a framed picture of a fish equal to breaking the glass of a tank with a ‘picture of living fish’?
(This isn’t to say Haruka is clueless to the impact of his actions, nor to justify any harm to animals. I just find the train of thought to be intriguing.)
So when considering these ‘objects’ are proud trophies of his work:
This is a carefully arranged display, which by the way, doesn’t contain a single fish. In fact the only piece of that moment visible here is the...large piece of driftwood? Okay. Keep that in mind.
We proceed into Haruka’s mother opening the door and seeing her son, for the first time in any of the MVs. Note the way they composed this shot:
I’m obsessed with this scene. The blue eye framing Haruka, with a literal fishbowl effect on him...
He is the goddamn fish in the aquarium now. His mother’s full attention is on him and him alone, with only the dead animals, the books, the lamp and the driftwood as window dressing to this wonderful display.
Doesn’t it just scream “Look at me! Look at what I did, mom!” to you?
That blue spotlight is on him once more. He is not just drifting deeper into an endless ocean, but contained in a vessel to be stared at.
One Last Observation
I didn’t know where to fit this in but I think the end feels appropriate.
His clothing here:
Is a frankenstein-esque mash up of clothes from his younger years. He wears this throughout AK&AA, and as I mentioned before it signifies him as an adult. However, I should clarify what I mean here as Haruka says “he thinks he’s 17″ and “doesn’t care about his age”. So... not an adult, but on the cusp of adulthood.
But I think he actually does care about his age, and quite a lot too.
This outfit feels symbolic of refusing to let go of the past, and of himself as a child. He’s literally grown out of his clothing, but he still clings onto it. He’s attached to the past because it not only contains his happiest moments, but the change from being loved to becoming neglected.
As a disabled person, you’re often treated with a lot more forgiveness when you’re younger. That is to say, some people don’t realise that children with disabilities grow up into adults with disabilities. There is a point where even support from medical and social services drops off like a cliff edge once you turn 18.
The ill-fitting clothing in this context becomes more than a reflection on Haruka’s feelings, and extends to reflecting society’s feelings on disabled adults ‘refusing to grow up’.
I don’t blame Haruka for holding onto his childhood like this. He’ll be even less publicly visible and seen once he is no longer a pitiful child, but a ‘weird’ adult in ill-fitting, children’s clothes.
#milgram#haruka sakurai#analysis#weakness#all-knowing and all-agony#symbolism#disability#*drops this onto the fandom like a ton of bricks* hi i'm new here pleasure to meet u#oh man I finally finished it... this is a very (and I mean a VERY) long post asdfghjkl#I'm pretty happy with how it turned out though! In your opinion, do you think V was fully at fault for what happened to Saeran? There's no denying that he is partially responsible, but honestly I don't think he should be as blamed as much as he is? From Rika's Behind Story, we find out that Rika had told V that Saeran was "moving boarding schools" when in actuality it was a lie to distance V from Saeran and cut off any contact between them, so that she can deceive Saeran into thinking V abandoned him later on when she kidnaps him to Magenta. Still, V insisted on seeing Saeran, even asking for the apparent school's name, but backed down when Rika was adamant about not giving him answers. I agree that V was wrong here for not looking into Rika's words more, but he only relented because he genuinely trusted her—that this was for the sake of protecting the twins, and because he literally had no reason to suspect Rika had any malicious intentions towards Saeran. It took a month for V to find out about Mint Eye after Rika left, and he definitely needed more than a month's time to gather enough materials and intel to infiltrate the place himself, so by the time he managed to enter Mint Eye and find about what Rika did to Saeran, it was already far too late. A lot of people blame him in this part; that he didn't do anything to save Saeran or get him out. But truthfully speaking...what can V even do at this point? It's not like he can just grab Saeran and book it unless he wants a gun pulled on his ass 😭 he had to resort to taking Mint Eye down from the inside. A lot of people also brought up that V should've called the police, but wouldn't that jeopardise Saeran's position to Saejoong? He is actively looking for the twins, and while it may seem like he'd pay no mind to an ordinary cult takedown case, he is desperate. I can see him having his people keep tabs on potential "suspects" from all sorts of places. Sorry this turned out so long, I would really love to hear from your perspective as a passionate Saeran fan. I hope this doesn't start any discourse :'))
I think I'll preface by saying Mystic Messenger suffers in terms of the writers not communicating with each other between routes. There's a lot of differing information about what happened to Saeran. The diary plants one story, and Another Story and Rika Behind paint something else... and in Casual and Deep Story, there are parts of the story a lot of players aren't sure about in terms of what happened since there's a slightly different vibe there.
So, when it comes to errors in continuity, you have to take it with a grain of salt and make your own assumption.
I think it's hard to have a conversation about this subject because neither Jihyun nor Rika are innocent. We can't assign blame to one without assigning blame to the other, but the rate at which they're guilty differs because of the choices they made. There are people in the fandom who place all the blame at Rika's feet, but she's not the only guilty party here when it comes to what happened to Saeran in the end.
It's important to understand that neither of them is innocent, and at the same time, it's even more important to understand the dynamic Rika and V had in the first place.
Rika tortured, manipulated, brainwashed, and abused Saeran. That fact is undeniable. The things she did to him are unimaginable and I hope she pays for it every day after the events of the RAE take place and she has to face judgement day in the court of law.
Jihyun's greatest failure was his decision to uphold his promise to Rika Kim. He promised he would never abandon her in her time of need, no matter what, because he didn't want to fail someone like he "failed" his mother. He believes in his heart that he has to give all he has because of his mother's sacrifice.
This is what causes him to avoid telling Jumin about what happened, because as much as he wants to save Saeran, he wants to "save" Rika, and that's why his greatest failure in the route comes from the player fighting to convince him to do what he should've done in the first place. Ask for help and admit that sometimes, promises aren't worth keeping if they destroy everyone you love, including yourself.
When we compare the choices Rika and V made, yeah, it's easy to see how Rika has done the worst to Saeran, but it's important for players to know that V's inaction served to hurt Saeran, too. That's something he acknowledges during the route, but ends up shooting himself in the foot over by the end because he decided to uphold his promise to Rika despite knowing it wouldn't help her or himself in the end.
Yes, Rika and V are both guilty of failing Saeran and Saeyoung. There is no doubt about that. But, their guilt comes in different flavors and it's important to understand how those choices hurt the boys. Rika's blame is widely understood and correctly spoken about with hatred and ire by fans, but when it comes to Jihyun, it's not often I see fans assign the appropriate blame to him.
It's all or nothing with a lot of players. Either you're a saint or you're a guilty monster. There's no wiggle room in the middle for the grey area that covers choices people make that aren't inherently good or evil. It is the choices that fall in the middle that are hard to understand and easy to misconstrue.
Jihyun Kim is a man I like to refer to with the old saying, "The path paved to hell is made with good intentions."
I think people should be upset with V, and I understand why people hate him for his inability to act when it counts. But, that's one of the things that makes him human and some as a person. You should be angry with V because he outright confesses that he's aware that what he's doing is wrong and that he should be doing more to make things right. You should be disappointed in him.
Because, if you decide to sit down and play V Route, you'll see him make the right decision and do what he should've done from the start.
Ask for help.
Do you want to know what I think Jihyun should've done? He should have told Jumin he was in over his head when discovered the plans in the apartment for Mint Eye. Jumin has proven time and time again to be someone who will do the right thing, no matter the cost, and if he had simply trusted his best friend, they could've done something for Saeran to get him away from Rika and take down Mint Eye with it. I'm certain that Jihyun knew he could do that.
But, to do that would mean breaking his promise to Rika. He told her he would keep their promise. So, if he told Jumin, and then Jumin did everything he could to take down Mint Eye, Rika would likely lash out at Jihyun for "breaking" their promise.
I think he could've feared that Rika might've revealed the truth about Saeran or Saeyoung to spite him in the process, despite making her own promise to Saeyoung to do the right thing, and her promise to Saeran to "take care of him since she killed his mother." So, he was weighing that fear on top of the shame of breaking a promise. But, I am certain that if Jumin helped, Saeran would be safe far away from Seoul, and they would be hunting for a way to get Saeyoung out of that fucking agency.
Jihyun could've continued to investigate Saejoong in private with the help of Jumin's team. Even if Rika let something slip to the police and sided with Saejoong, I think they could've found a way to make things work out. Would it have worked out well? I don't know, but I think I've got enough faith in Jumin Han to trust that he would make it right as soon as he could.
Jihyun was the one hunting down information about Saejoong Choi to take him down. He was away most of the time for that reason, and Rika took it upon herself to take care of Saeran when he wasn’t in classes at the cathedral. He had no way of knowing what Rika was doing to Saeran. He gave her an inch and Rika took a mile in terms of control.
He trusted her to do the right thing and uphold her promise, and he had no choice but to believe in the idea she would keep her promise to protect Saeran because it was the two of them against the world. Two broken people in a relationship that was bound to fail from the start, trying to help two little boys who needed more help than they could provide on their own, it was a recipe for disaster.
Truthfully speaking, the only thing he could have done when he discovered that Rika lied to him was talk to Jumin. His best friend would have been the only person in the world who could have helped him, but he didn't ask his friend for help out of shame and regret. So, while Rika and V are both guilty, it's important to understand the why and how.
It won't change their guilt, but it does give you more insight as to why Saeyoung doesn't bite Jihyun's head off in the VAE like he tried to do to Rika. Oh, he's still angry with Jihyun, but he's realized that Jihyun's choices were different from Rika's. Still terrible because his promise was broken tenfold, but he can despise Rika far easier because she actively tortured his twin brother and Jihyun's failure of his inaction in the face of weighing promises.

**Ch 160 spoilers**
Hey, I woke up this morning(and I feel like my brain processed two different things overnight)
1.What if Kamiki had the white stars as he was planning to hand the bouquet through Ryosuke, and that's why his eyes were covered in that particular panel? If that's how it was and if weren't covered there, it'd be giving it away that he ACTUALLY had regained hope upon having received Ai's phone call and that he does love Ai and was happy upon the possibility of seeing her again. He was smiling and blushing in that panel as he prepared the bouquet!! That's what's actually there! He was HAPPY! I think he could have just been..happy and excited. He should have just gone and given the flowers to Ai. GOD things screwed up so bad if this is it!!!!
2. That really intimidating/creepy panel of him appeared upon having Aqua tell him he failed to protect his daughter, even while being aware of nino's mental state, along with him adding on that
"You tried to kill your own daughter, didn't you."
I think this could actually be a traumatic response, it this guy's ACTUALLY innocent and really DIDN'T see it coming. How was he supposed to predict nino would try and go stab his daughter, upon with him having suggested they stop doing whatever they've been doing and go turn themselves in? According to how nino's reactions are, it appears that THAT''S what he's said. How can that BE him trying to manipulate her into go stab Ruby? There is no way that could have that intent unless he's really some god who could predict something like that COULD happen with such a suggestion.
Isn't what he's displaying a traumatic response, then??
He lost Ai the same way. He failed to protect both his lover and his daughter, like Aqua's said. If you examine the situation, those two events that have happened are almost identical in terms of how it's played out. He said something really unrelated(wanting to give Ai a bouquet/let's go turn ourselves in to the police)to people he considered as friends and THEY grow crazy and go stab the very people he loves. How was he supposed to predict that? It'd still be enough to traumatize and make him feel so guilty though.
If what Kamiki's said about him having "had no intention to hurt anyone" is true(which he says for Ai's case) then the same may apply for Ruby's case. He may have really didn't seen it coming in those both occasions. How was he supposed to predict those two would be triggered by those words? I'd be able to see where Aqua's coming from if what Kamiki's said COULD be interpreted as something that can sound manipulative, but for his case, I think.. He really could have had no clue that this could happen. But he can't say ANYTHING because the love of his life and his own daughter REALLY could have both died as a reaction of something he said.
Like I said, if we believe him, then Kamiki is REALLY CURSED. Things shouldn't be this way on normal circumstances but it keeps happening to him. If he ain't, then of course he's guilty and unforgivable but what GOOD would it even have on him? Is he REALLY to blame for what's happened? That needs to be explored.
Well, he thought Ai died because of him. If Ruby ended up being stabbed just like her mother then, if he's innocent.. He'd have been out of his mind. I bet he'd have died from guilt. He DOES love Ruby if the white star eyes mean love. We saw him having it when he sees her.
Ai wanted him to be helped and saved. If that is something that must be followed through, what I've made out of this -the above two points I've made- WOULD be correct.
I think this is what's that makes sense. If Kamiki is a person with a normal heart and not some manipulative psychopath(which I think he isn't-a psychopath-.) His reactions can still align with what's been displayed in the previous chapters if THIS is it. Then he isn't even acting in this one, he's trying to be composed but he just found it really hard to be that way in that one instance, upon having been pushed his trauma switch. But he quickly reverts back to being collected again. He doesn't...get agitated.
If this is the guy Ai loved so dearly and has desires of saving, then this is more like it. If not...I have no idea why that plot point even needs to be there. I need to know why Aqua's so convinced his dad has to be evil. If he brings up a good reason, I am all ears, but it's not mentioned yet. So I'm holding out on this. Ai, punish Kamiki from the stars if he's really a monster, and bless him if he isn't. He needs it. PLEASE save this guy if he's innocent. This is suffering.. It's too much if what he's going through is never what he's asked for.
#oshi no theories#oshi no ko spoilers#hikaru kamiki#spoilers#oshi no ko#no but isn't this it???; this is what makes sense to me in a psychological sense#I don't get the minds of maniacs but if he isn't one then this would explain why he's like that

Is Lucien a spy?
Back again with another head cannon theory so here we go.
Lucien has been a fae always looking out for those he cared for since we met him. And although he did nearly get Feyre killed in the first book he did try to make up for it and apologized. Even took beatings UTM to heal her and help when he could. One thing that has always been obvious is that Lucien has had Tamlin’s back through and through.
However, when he left the Spring court and became the emissary of the Night Court it seemed that it was non stop dog pile on Lucien. Even Feyre is guilty of treating Lucien horribly and he gave up his home and left his best friend to be there. But… what if he didn’t?
It has been mentioned in the books that Lucien checks on Tamlin from time to time and gives updates when asked on how he is doing (which is not good). But perhaps that isn’t the case and Feyre and Rhysand just take him at his word because they don’t feel the need to check, since for them, Tamlin in misery is a ‘happy occasion.’
My theory is that Lucien is actually a spy for Tamlin and the Spring Court. He is doing this because Tamlin asked him to protect Feyre, despite everything, Tamlin still loves her and worries something may happen. He may have brought Rhysand back to life but that was because he knew how much Feyre loved Rhysand and wanted her to be happy. But even though he knows this he doesn’t trust Rhysand enough to believe something may be going on behind the scenes.
So while the Inner court receives reports of the Spring Court in ruin and Tamlin in shambles the truth is it is actually being rebuilt and Tamlin had started healing and putting his people first but consequently closing up his heart and refusing to find love.
So while Lucien is giving these report he is just telling what he saw before the reconstruction with some truth about how Tamlin is doing. And if at any time Rhysand or Feyre check his mind he puts up the mental memory of what the spring court looked like after the war or different parts still destroyed that haven’t been fixed.
While it may be seen as wrong as deceitful for Lucien to do this he has seen what Feyre and the Night court have done to the Spring court. A place that used to be and still is his home. And he may not want to give Feyre any reason to destroy it and innocent lives again.
Lucien cares for Feyre and he misses the human she used to be but his loyalty is to Tamlin. As much as it hurts him to be at the Night court, rejected by his mate, and hiding his true emotions every time the inner court beats him down he stays. Tamlin sacrificed so much for him when he allowed him to stay in the Spring court. And he may be counting down the days until he can earn Elain’s trust and love and hopefully move to the Spring court safely. Elain would love it there because she loves nature but as much as she will miss her sister they can always make visits to the Night court.
But then again this is just a theory.

This might be a risky hot take but
Some of you "Gregory Defenders" are starting to annoy the absolute hell out of me
And this isn't about the "whether Gregory is innocent or guilty" side of the argument you're on, but about how obnoxious and unhinged some of y'all are about it regardless of the "side" you're on.
Not everyone in the fandom is going to like Gregory, nor will everyone see him as innocent. Some may even say he's a cold and manipulative backstabber, or that he's only popular because of "male protag privilege". And you know what, that's actually all okay and valid. And you know why?
Because Gregory is not real.
"He's only like 12!!!!" he's not real.
"He's just a child!!!" he's not real.
"He's not guilty he was brainwashed!!" he's not real.
"He's only trying to protect himself he doesn't deserve hate!!!" Let people dislike/hate him if they want, it won't affect Gregory at all because he's not real.
It's not like people are bullying a real child. He's a fictional character, in case y'all ever forgot that detail.
Actually no, I am SURE y'all forgot that detail, with how you treat people who dislike him as if it was an actual moral issue and paint them as evil for not sharing your image of your perfect cinnamon roll gremlin boy.
"How DARE you say Gregory's not innocent? How can you HATE him he's just a kid!!! It's not his fault STOP punishing him!!! How evil do you have to be to blame a literal child!!!? You're disgusting!!!" HE'S NOT FUCKING REAL.
Where in the fucking hell is it okay to label a person as evil or bully them for like, liking Cassie (another fictional character in case you also forgot) over Gregory??
Yes this also goes to y'all who approach people unprompted to tell them like a lawyer why Gregory is not to blame, especially with how condescending and obnoxious you are about it, pretty much reeking the vibe of "I'm telling you how wrong you are for blaming Gregory because you're clearly stupid for not believing otherwise, here's why I'm right and why my vision of this character is the correct one."
I'm sick of "Gregory defense lawyers" coming to my inbox after my ramblings about Cassie blaming Gregory for the elevator drop all condenscendingly like "Ummm actually you can't do that because Gregory is innocent it was all the Mimic in case you missed the details blah blah-" did I fucking ask???
(Unless people seem confused or are new to the fandom and they ask, then you may be entitled to tell them... but I still suggest being unbiased and focusing on canon aspects only rather than your personal opinion about it.)
Don't even get me started on y'all's flat out hostility towards people who don't like Gregory
"If you think Gregory did anything wrong ever I'LL FUCKING FIGHT YOU" is this really all that necessary to protect a kid that doesn't even exist??? Is it worth ending friendships or snuffing out potential new friendships with other real people over??? Worth bullying and witch-hunting other real people whose only apparent crime was loving the same franchise as you? How can you be proud of that?
(Unless you mean you will fight people in that memey or shitpost way then idc keep being a silly little guy actually)
"But I adore Gregory, and he's my favorite character!! It makes me really upset when people hate him/make art/write about him being guilty or blamed, or say Cassie is better! I don't agree with it!!" ... then why are you making yourself upset by checking out content about Gregory that you don't like? Like... dude.
People are going to create stuff about Gregory (or any other fictional character really,) that won't always align with you. And they're entitled to do it, no matter how wrong you think they are! Instead of policing what other people create about your blorbo, just look away and seek content about them that you actually like. If a particular creator's vision on Gregory is too much of a deal-breaker for you, just block and blacklist and move on. Or create the content you want yourself instead of badgering other people.
Also keep in mind that Gregory being antagonized in a fic/art/etc doesn't always translate to the authors hating him, chances are they're just writting it from other characters' perspectives who may have whatever beef with him in the given setting, so don't go jumping to conclusions either. And even if the antagonism does come from the author's personal bias, that still gives you no right to harrass them anyways.
I will continue liking Cassie over Gregory and I do think she's better and I will continue rambling about Cassie hating Gregory for believing he betrayed her even if it was the Mimic, because it is an interesting scenario, and I personally think the whole GGY thing was dumb and unnecessary (he could still have been an interesting character as just an unlucky homeless boy without any sinister plot-twist.) That's it; There's no fucking need to make it about morality, ffs. If you don't like that, ignore it, or unfollow me if it's that much of a deal-breaker for you.
All y'all are doing is giving reasonable Gregory fans a bad name, and actually making people dislike him further by oversaturating him and forcing him into a source of stress and disdain rather than enjoyment for them, where people start actually getting sick of seeing him around (and I feel that myself already.)
Let people dislike Gregory for whatever reason.
By the way...
You "Gregory Haters" are annoying me as well
As entitled as you are to your opinion about this annoying manipulative liar of a brat, there are people who share a different sentiment about him. Let them.
You don't have to reblog or comment on someone's post how much they adore Gregory to tell why you hate him, or go to the spaces of Gregory fans to spew why you hate so much this little guy they like. That's just fucking mean and rude. Make your own post, or go to the spaces that share your opinion.
Quit making people feel bad for liking a character you dislike. If you don't like Gregory, why are you even bothering to check out content about him, then? Check out content about characters you LIKE. I bet that'd make you much happier than spending your time regurgitating your hate over someone's creation about a character they like but you don't and unsurprisingly start an argument about it. Look for things you like, block and blacklist stuff and people about your hated character if you gotta but leave them alone
Let people like Gregory for whatever reason, too.
Let people see Gregory however way they see fit.
Because this bears repeating: He's not real. He's a fictional character. He's a tool. Let people use him however way they see fit to drive a story or scenario; that's his purpose, as a fictional character.

Dating Yandere Blade Would Include:
Blade as a yandere is very possessive and protective, he feels a deep sense of ownership over you. He wants to be the center of your world and becomes extremely jealous if he senses any interest or affection directed towards someone else.
Blade is obsessive and extremely jealous, he struggles to control his feelings and often resorts to stalking behavior, often following you to keep tabs on your activities and whom you interact with.
He is also controlling and manipulative, using guilt, threats, or coercion to persuade you to comply with his demands.
Blade is intense and unpredictable in his demonstrations of love, he might shower you with excessive gifts and attention, but he might also be prone to extreme mood swings and fits of jealousy.
He can be paranoid and suspicious, always suspicious of your loyalty or any potential threat to the relationship. In extreme cases, he might even resort to violence and stalking if he perceives a threat to your relationship.
Blade can also be quite paranoid. He will likely suspect you of cheating or being unfaithful, even if you have given him no reason to doubt your loyalty. He constantly seeks reassurance from you about your feelings for him and will not tolerate any perceived threat to your relationship, no matter how innocent or harmless.
Blade can be very intense and obsessive, constantly seeking reassurance and affirmation from you that you are his. He might frequently demand attention, becoming angry or upset if you don't give it to him. Additionally, he may display a sadistic streak, wanting to see you in pain or discomfort to remind you who you belong to.
Overall, Blade is a complex character who, while deeply in love with you, has a dangerous and unhealthy obsession that can lead to dangerous situations and behavior. He struggles to control his intense emotions and insecurity, leading him to extremes in order to keep you all to himself.
As a yandere can offer rewards as well, like buying you gifts, taking you on fancy dates or vacations, and showering you with affection and attention. He may do these things to show how much he loves and appreciates you, or as a way to manipulate you into staying with him. Blade uses rewards as a way to keep you under his control and maintain your loyalty.
Blade as a yandere uses punishments to assert his dominance and discipline you, as he believes it's necessary to keep you in line. He may use various forms of punishment such as verbal or physical abuse, restraining you, or even threatening to harm himself if you defy him. Blade also might use emotional manipulation, like giving you the silent treatment or withholding affection, to make you feel guilty or ashamed for disobeying him.
Due to Blade's jealous and possessive nature, he is susceptible to any perceived threat to his relationship with you. Even minor disagreements or small conflicts can trigger strong reactions from him, leading to fights. He might also pick fights with you intentionally just to test your loyalty and devotion to him. Blade often sees any challenge or resistance from you as a personal attack on his love and authority.
Blade as a yandere is both loving and needy, sometimes simultaneously. He often expresses his affection with intense displays of possessiveness, like constantly holding onto you, demanding your attention, and wanting to know where you are at all times. Blade may shower you with gifts and compliments, but his clinginess and jealousy can become smothering and overwhelming.
Blade is very extravagant and spends money like it's nothing when it comes to dating you. He wants to impress you and show off his wealth, so he'll take you to expensive restaurants, five-star hotels, and exclusive events. He'll take great care in planning the dates to ensure they meet his high standards and exceed your expectations. Blade wants to be seen as the perfect man and to demonstrate his power and influence over you by treating you to luxurious experiences. He may even use these dates as a means of further asserting his control over you.
If any vampires try to get close to you, Blade would do everything in his power to keep you away from them and make sure they stay far away from you. He would perceive any interaction with other supernaturals as a threat to his relationship with you and would likely become hostile and possessively protective.
Blade, as a yandere, would do anything for you, including killing for you if he believes it's necessary to protect you or if he perceives a threat to your safety or your relationship. He has a strong sense of possessiveness and a protective instinct for you, which can lead him to extreme and violent actions.
Blade may also have a diary or journal where he writes down his thoughts and feelings about you, including his love and obsession for you. He may use this as a way to channel his intense emotions and express his devotion to you. Blade may even write love letters to you, professing his love and need for you. Additionally, he may keep a record of everything he has done for you or given you, as a way to remind himself of his own sacrifices and to prove his love and devotion to you.
He would likely want to marry you as soon as possible. He would see it as a way to tie you to him permanently and to show the world that you are his and his alone. He might rush the process and try to make it a grand, lavish event.
He would want to have kids with you, as he sees it as a way to further bind you to him and ensure your loyalty. He would consider the children as an extension of himself and an opportunity to shape them into following the same values and beliefs as him. Blade would want to control the upbringing of the children, especially if he fears losing your attention or affection to them. He might be protective and possessive toward the children as well.
He would likely try to convince you to change your mind or even resort to manipulative tactics to get what he wants. If you remained adamant about not wanting children, Blade might become resentful and angry, seeing it as a threat or rejection of his love and authority over you. In the worst-case scenario, he might even go to great lengths to force you to have children or find another way to fulfill his need to possess and control you.
"You are mine, and mine alone. You exist for me, and no one else. You are nothing without me, and you will obey me in everything. I own you, body and soul. I control you, and you will do as I say. If you try to leave me, I will find you and bring you back. You are mine, and no one will ever have you but me."
Cunnilingus - Worshiping you with his tongue, tasting your sweetness, teasing you until you're begging for release. It's divine to him.
Backdoor action - Taking you from behind, penetrating you from the rear, feeling you squirm and whimper under his relentless thrusts, it's downright decadent.
Sensory deprivation - Blindfolding or muffling your senses can heighten your awareness of touch, making every stroke and caress all the more intense.
Exhibitionism - Engaging in sexual activities publicly or in semi-public spaces where there’s a chance of being discovered is a significant turn-on for him.
Sensual massages - Using massage oils and lotions, exploring each other's bodies, touching, stroking, caressing...the anticipation leading up to sex can be just as exciting as the act itself.

Such are the effects of mob law; and such as the scenes, becoming more and more frequent in this land so lately famed for love of law and order; and the stories of which, have even now grown too familiar, to attract any thing more, than an idle remark.
But you are, perhaps, ready to ask, "What has this to do with the perpetuation of our political institutions?" I answer, it has much to do with it. Its direct consequences are, comparatively speaking, but a small evil; and much of its danger consists, in the proneness of our minds, to regard its direct, as its only consequences.
Abstractly considered, the hanging of the gamblers at Vicksburg, was of but little consequence. They constitute a portion of population, that is worse than useless in any community; and their death, if no pernicious example be set by it, is never matter of reasonable regret with any one. If they were annually swept, from the stage of existence, by the plague or small pox, honest men would, perhaps, be much profited, by the operation.—
Similar too, is the correct reasoning, in regard to the burning of the negro at St. Louis. He had forfeited his life, by the perpetration of an outrageous murder, upon one of the most worthy and respectable citizens of the city; and had not he died as he did, he must have died by the sentence of the law, in a very short time afterwards. As to him alone, it was as well the way it was, as it could otherwise have been. But the example in either case, was fearful.—
When men take it in their heads to day, to hang gamblers, or burn murderers, they should recollect, that, in the confusion usually attending such transactions, they will be as likely to hang or burn some one who is neither a gambler nor a murderer as one who is; and that, acting upon the example they set, the mob of to-morrow, may, and probably will, hang or burn some of them by the very same mistake. And not only so; the innocent, those who have ever set their faces against violations of law in every shape, alike with the guilty, fall victims to the ravages of mob law; and thus it goes on, step by step, till all the walls erected for the defense of the persons and property of individuals, are trodden down, and disregarded. But all this even, is not the full extent of the evil.—
By such examples, by instances of the perpetrators of such acts going unpunished, the lawless in spirit, are encouraged to become lawless in practice; and having been used to no restraint, but dread of punishment, they thus become, absolutely unrestrained.—
Having ever regarded Government as their deadliest bane, they make a jubilee of the suspension of its operations; and pray for nothing so much, as its total annihilation. While, on the other hand, good men, men who love tranquility, who desire to abide by the laws, and enjoy their benefits, who would gladly spill their blood in the defense of their country; seeing their property destroyed; their families insulted, and their lives endangered; their persons injured; and seeing nothing in prospect that forebodes a change for the better; become tired of, and disgusted with, a Government that offers them no protection; and are not much averse to a change in which they imagine they have nothing to lose. Thus, then, by the operation of this mobocractic spirit, which all must admit, is now abroad in the land, the strongest bulwark of any Government, and particularly of those constituted like ours, may effectually be broken down and destroyed—
I mean the attachment of the People. Whenever this effect shall be produced among us; whenever the vicious portion of population shall be permitted to gather in bands of hundreds and thousands, and burn churches, ravage and rob provision-stores, throw printing presses into rivers, shoot editors, and hang and burn obnoxious persons at pleasure, and with impunity; depend on it, this Government cannot last. By such things, the feelings of the best citizens will become more or less alienated from it; and thus it will be left without friends, or with too few, and those few too weak, to make their friendship effectual. At such a time and under such circumstances, men of sufficient talent and ambition will not be wanting to seize the opportunity, strike the blow, and overturn that fair fabric, which for the last half century, has been the fondest hope, of the lovers of freedom, throughout the world. I know the American People are much attached to their Government;—I know they would suffer much for its sake;—
I know they would endure evils long and patiently, before they would ever think of exchanging it for another. Yet, notwithstanding all this, if the laws be continually despised and disregarded, if their rights to be secure in their persons and property, are held by no better tenure than the caprice of a mob, the alienation of their affections from the Government is the natural consequence; and to that, sooner or later, it must come.
—Abraham Lincoln, "The Perpetuation of Our Political Institutions," an address before the Young Men's Lyceum of Springfield, Illinois, Jan 27, 1838

Sister Iris of Hazakura Temple: the Ultimate Defendant of Phoenix Wright
(this is a writeup I've submitted in AA subreddit, so if you recognize the text, this isn't a Matrix lag. Yes, I have a strong opinion about Iris and I want to speak about it more!!)
Starting with the obvious, any Ace Attorney game has a strong and multilayered story and good replayability because of that. It's a very interesting endeavor to just find missed details, to rethink and reconsider some moments in the game after knowing the full story. After completing the game and reaching the major resolution of the plot and mystery, one may look back to find a pleiad of more obscure details that support main plot threads and enrich them. One of the most interesting details of TT's plot is the final defendant and the way she was presented in the game. I believe Iris embodies a lot of thematic weight, and she and the story around her propose a very meaningful challenge - both for Phoenix and for the player
Firstly, the circumstances around Iris are intentionally subversive. After 2-4 we learned that not every single defendant is innocent, so of course we become suspicious when the mysterious girl finds herself at the defendant seat - only for us to be proven that Iris is actually is unlike her sister at all and is a good person (but not completely innocent, to be fair, but about that later). So it's a subversion of an already subversive case, which paints Iris and Bridge as a whole in the very interesting light, tying all three finales of the trilogy together
Perhaps the main theme of the trilogy (and the franchise at large) is trust in the clients and, on the bigger scope, to your friends and close people. Phoenix-Iris relationship embodies that theme, and, again, can be considered a culmination, a resolution of that theme after the three games. It's evident that after the disastrous trial in Memories Phoenix still couldn't let his "Dollie" go. There still was a part of him that believed the girl he spent months with was a genuine person, and when he, at last, learns the truth, he literally says: "You've been the person I thought you are". Reassuring words for Iris herself, they pretty much conclude the "trust theme" and reveal that, again, Phoenix was right to trust the person. Of course, it's really interesting to see a hero being mistaken and growing from that, but it's not any less cathartic to realize that he did a right thing, regardless of the obstacles
Now onto Iris herself. She's an interesting specimen within AA universe on her own, and, despite common opinion, she steps beyond just being a nice-girl-who-is-not-her-murderous-sister. The crux of her character is finding strength, again, her own "two to stand", figuratively speaking, outside of her twisted familial loyalty. Yes, Iris IS guilty by association with Dahlia morally-speaking, as she didn't try to tell the police about Dahlia's atrocities. In some ways Iris is meant to mirror Godot - both of them made mistakes trying to take matters into their own hands thinking they were doing the right thing (Godot with his masterplan in 3-5; Iris with her idea to replace Dahlia and retrieve her necklace and postponing this until Dahlia strikes again). But while Godot's ultimate downfall was caused by being boastfully overly-confident in his capability to protect people, Iris' calamity, again, stems from her inability to speak for herself - she didn't even manage to tell her real name to the person she liked or simply steal the necklace from him
I think it's important to understand that Iris has her flaws - not some cutesy quirks like being shy or anything, rather, more ugly flaws that can affect other people and make her own life worse. Characters aren't meamt to be perfect people all the time, and being framed as "good" in a story doesn't exclude them from being objectively the reason for some atrocious events. I would even argue that a good story should never shy away from such decisions. Iris *is* nice and well-intended unlike Dahlia (who, on the contrary, despite wanting to bring harm was in some way the reason Mia and Phoenix have met which kickstarts the bittersweet emotional journey for Nick in the trilogy), but things she did weren't always good or had benign consequences. Besides, someone being so self-deprecating that it harms not only one"self", but others too is a fascinating and sorely realistic juxtaposition by itself
Nevertheless, after Edgeworth asks her to not deceive Phoenix anymore, she finally decides to tell him (in the front of the whole court, no less - kinda unusual place for a meek girl to confess) the truth about her sister and herself, tells her feelings - and after Phoenix reassured her that she was worth Phoenix's trust after all, maybe that instigates her growth as a person (note that it doesn't necessarily mean that she and Nick should be brought back together, it's more about their past relationship and what they both can learn from that now, after there's no more secrets). The theme of truth is always intertwined with the theme of trust and its importance in our lives. Just like in any other Ace Attorney case, only the reveal of her truth is able to free Iris from the shackles of her disastrous family.
It would be fair to say that Iris was cast aside by the case - after all, the Bridge had a lot going on in it, so you has to look closely to see something about her. There are a few details I personally find endearing about her. When she is in the detention center speaking with Edgeworth, presenting various profiles to her (like Larry's or Maya's) makes her respond in a very positive manner, like "This is a hardworking person", or "This is a very reliable woman". Funnily, Edgeworth remarks that Iris isn't a good judge of people after that, and that may be so - on the other hand, however, it indicates that Iris just generally tries to see good in people. Even about Dahlia, she says first and foremost that she was "strong and never complained about anything" - she understands her twin sister the most. Cumulatively, it all points at the fact that, despite spending the majority of her life in seclusion, she may be perceptive to some degree (the other example, when there's a wrong choice in her Psyche-Locks segment, she suspects that Edgeworth may have a deep secret inside on his own). In many ways she shares these traits with her younger half-sister Pearl, who is a sheltered, but unusually perceptive child herself
There are a few other interesting tidbits about Iris, but these are more like my overthinking. Iris, despite being raised far away from the city, is actually capable of being well-adjusted to modern society, she's relatively well-versed with technology, she managed to go to the university in place of Dahlia. The other interesting moment is the fact that she and Phoenix did have some sort of affinity in fact, because their relationship lasted for eight months without seeming issues (aside from the obvious not-telling-him-my-real-name problem), and, from my experience and observations, even if it's not that log of a period, it happens when two people have similar fundamental worldview and mindset. So Iris, at least to some degree, has something in common with Phoenix - maybe it's her positivity regarding people in general?
Anyway, I believe Iris is worth at least some attention from the fanbase - and not only as one of the possible love interests for Phoenix, but as a character who, as many other people in the Fey family, had a lot of odds stacked against her throughout her life, but in the end having a silver lining and the chance to finally be happy and honest with herself
#ace attorney#aa3#iris fey#iris hawthorne#meta#it's beautiful that female characters like dahlia or adrian are attempted to be treated with nuance these days#kinda want people to give iris the same grace too
