Idk who needs to hear this but time and time again isn't over!!!

Webtoon removed the "time and time again will return!!!" Banner and I don't know why, but it's not over!!! There's still another 1/3 of the comic to go! There's a lot more stuff that I'm working on and it'll be coming back soon!

Please be patient with me, I know it's been a long time... But the stuff I'm making is really good and there's a lot of reasons it's taken this long. I promise I want it back more than anyone.

I'm trying to come back around the end of October. I'm doing my best to get everything ready in time, so no promises, but I'm on track to do so! I'm just one person writing and drawing everything, and my editor was fired so I'm not even getting any notes anymore. It's literally just me. I'm doing my best I promise!

It’s about an alien who’s father destroyed earth (something she didn’t agree for) but now ghosts of humans haunt them.

Despite trying to kill Lux a few time the ghosts end up slowly befriending them? And when her dad wants to find a way to wipe out their souls the ghosts need bend together to stop him

Also all of the characters are canonically autistic either because I planned it that way or I couldn’t write them otherwise and also theyr all gay

kyle and rex is an absurdist drama set in a stagnant afterlife where everyone lies, cheats, manipulates, and hurts each other in order to gain political power and admiration from the public.

with characters constantly haunted by ghosts of the past, trying to stay on top of the food chain despite constant betrayals and having their secrets held up above their heads, comes back kyle, from his long stay back as a guiding spirit on earth, to take back reigns of the throne in the inbetween. though much like everyone else, hes got a long list of dirty laundry that many are aching to reveal. there are no real friends here.

im ngl, im pretty convinced that my hiatus was too long and i’ve lost 50% of my readers. which is kind of sad bc i only took 4 months off, which isn’t a very long time. note to myself to just. never have a life for my next comic.

so i've been readin a lot of webtoons recently, and i gotta say that i'm hooked on a lot of them. a lot of them involve romances, which i don't hate. however, i kinda wish that there were some romances where it was inherently queer or where the characters are queer in some way. ik theres the market with BL and GL and they're separate categories, but my god. i just wish that there were at least some gay shit in the background for the "mainstream" stuff. it doesnt even have to be the main characters being queer. i'd just like to see some characters being casually bisexual or gay or smth. or maybe a plot where it seems like it's heterosexual but it subverts expectations and it's gay. maybe im just not lookin hard enough lol

#i feel like. a lot of the plots i read would be SO much better if it was gay. if im being completely honest #just wanted to post my thoughts on webtoons #i feel like a lot of stuff i read is basic and trope-y but it doesnt matter cause i eat it up #i just wish that they were queer ...............#esp with the isekai/reincarnation plots. which im a SUCKER for #just scrolling thru the lgbt+ comics and gl comics i cant really find shit for it on first glance #dont ask me to look into the bl section . i feel like half the bl shit i see feels so. I got you! But it isn’t exactly a show…

I have an ongoing webcomic called saving the dead which is about the alien daughter of an evil ruler of planet Cora 6. A planet which was at war with earth for a while, Their dad eventually destroys earth entirely but eventually lux finds out that all of the humans who now lived there are now ghosts!

Plot ensues

Not to mention there’s also lgbtq and neurodivergent rep all coming from my personal experience as a queer autistic person!

WHAT IS REFERENCE DESK (SPINES)

I've been meaning to make a side blog like this for awhile and finally got the motivation today. Basically, I'm hoping to use this space to promote my webcomic SPINES while also having a bit of fun with it. It's a neo-noir horror fusion so it's sort of hard to post about it on my main account without ruining the vibes. But here will be different, lol.

It always feels weird to self-promote and say you're proud of your own work but I'm really enjoying working on SPINES and would love to share it with more people. If you enjoy movies / comics that are set in the 1970's and have sort of a Stephen King / Silent Hill esque vibe I think you'll really enjoy it.

SPINES essentially follows three strangers as they wake up in a strange and nightmarish library. They can't remember anything about their past and have no choice but to trust a seemingly unreliable guide as they go further and further into the library archives. As they continue on, they slowly piece together their memories all while a much larger mystery unfolds. Set in the 1970's, SPINES mixes murder mystery, psychological horror, and milieu horror to create an unnerving nonlinear narrative.
