Seriously though. I watched it for the first time this year right after S2 came out. On my birthday no less! Best birthday gift ever!!! I had always planned on watching S1, but just never got around to it. I immediately had to watch it when I saw everybody losing their absolute shit over S2 on tumblr though. And rightly so. Like many others, I'm STILL not over that ending.

Indeed, S2 was quiet, gentle, and romantic like Neil said. And yes, that cliffhanger ending was heartbreaking as hell. But it was heartbreakingly beautiful. Not to mention, David and Michael gave some of the best acting performances I've ever seen for a character IN MY LIFE. True legends, these two.

It's been an absolute joy discovering this fandom and all the amazingly talented people in it. From all the art, fics, metas(some of you are freaking galaxy-brained, like WOW), animatics, video edits. Even original songs by fans. You name it. Not to mention its own convention organized by fans. (Really wish I could go to the next one being held in the UK in person since it's right on my birthday. But I'm kinda scared shitless to travel alone. Lol)

Anyway, this is truly a wonderful community. I hope you lovely people never stop creating and doing what you do. :o)
