May I ask what were the best transformers media you ever saw/read?

Well Transformers Prime, Transformers 1986 and IDW comics are having the first place that’s for sure

And then the second place is kind of shared by Fall of Cybertron, Exodus, Prime wars trilogy, Robots in disguise(2001) and Transformers One.

The third place goes to G1, Animated, Earthspark, Armada, War for Cybertron Netflix series, Aligned Robots in disguise, Bumblebee, Rise of the Beasts and Cyberverse because I only liked some little parts of them.

And then I also saw some of the Bay movies, Victory and Headmasters and didn’t like them at all.

Separate first place for J-Decker. It is not exactly Transformers but it is a show about giant robots and I loved it

Makes you send him food pics regularly. On days where you genuinely don't want to, he won't push it, but for the most part he enforces it and will be upset if you don't send a pic. And this is only really because it means you didn't eat.

He loves it not only for the obvious reason of watching over you even when he's not around, but also because it reminds him to also eat. All those hours in the studio blur and it's only a matter of time before he completely loses track of time- but you and your meals are there to remind him :)

Ok hear me out, traditional husband!minho... If you don't want it, he won't push it but it works so well,,, If it's far enough into the relationship that the trust comes naturally, he'd sit you down to discuss your opinions on you staying at home all day and quitting your job and putting all the financial burden on him- because he wants that responsibility. He wants to take care of you so extremely.

The pleasure dom in him comes out specifically outside of the bedroom. He absolutely loves cooking for you and spoiling you with extravagant dinners & expensive gifts, and he loves just holding you close just because he can, but he expects you to do everything else in the house- or at least most of it. While he's willing to compromise certain chores, he wants to come home to the house being clean and clothes being washed and all that.

But he always makes it worth your while and spoils you rotten :( Cuddles you until you're absolutely sick of him (not) and tries to take you out on regular dates to spoil you (like while shopping at the mall or taking you out to a nice dinner)

Might sound kind of weird but hear me out- him telling you "no." I think Chris is one that would love to do this but has NO self control and therefore can't bring himself to unless he absolutely has to lol. But Changbin thrives off of it.

Don't get him wrong- he looves to spoil you. But he also loves that little spark in your eyes when you bat your eyelashes at him so prettily and ask him for something- only for you to get a gentle but firm "no" that makes your bottom lip puff out. & It's not that he doesn't want you to have whatever this thing is, it's more so that he knows there's a limit to being spoiled and no matter how much he loves you, you both need an occasional humbling- and he feels like you both could use a soft reminder of who let who have all the control

He'll always make up for it with sweet kisses and maybe a little tickling to make your pout go away, but his chest puffs out a little every time he gets to tell you "no"

Is the kind to having his hand on your body at all times, if you're more than an arms length away from him you'll be getting a certain look that discreetly reads "Get over here now." Sometimes will even curl his finger up in your direction- doesn't care if somebody is watching or even if he's in the middle of talking/an important conversation

He just likes to have you close, and he knows he needs that mental grounding that you offer more often than not. He's just confident about needing it, so he's not afraid to show everybody how much he loves you and needs you by his side

That being said, he will lead you around malls, museums, grocery stores, or hell even the other boy's apartments all with his hand either intertwined with yours or on some part of your body (usually your lower back) that lets him guide you around.

He felt a little awkward at first bringing this up to you, but now that it's become a regular part of your routine, he lives for these moments: he loves when you sit pretty on his lap and shave his face for him. It's gotten to the point where he will refuse to shave himself at all for weeks on end if you aren't able to do it for him.

It makes him feel a bit more dominant than it should? considering he will see you have free time and point out that he needs a shave- which usually has you dropping everything to go do it for him. But he also sees it as him being loyal to you and you having an equal amount of "control" on his life. (Also you will catch him dead before you catch him complaining about his lover sitting in his lap for any amount of time lol)

Generally just domestic little acts of service that let him "command" you while also letting you have control over his life (that's really only obvious to you two, but that's more than enough for him)

𝙵𝚎𝚕𝚒𝚡

Doesn't realize he likes it right away, but he loves to talk for you with strangers. He loves to order your food for you, order your coffee for you (sometimes even mobile ordering it so you don't have to talk to people if he's not available), carrying your clothes for you while you shop and being the one talking at the cash register- stuff like that.

Not only does this scratch that little dom itch in the back of his head because he's taking care of you while still being in "charge", but it also allows him to spoil the hell out of you with you knowing how much money he's spending on you lol. You get to sit pretty at his side and look at/play with the little trinkets by the register while he drops literal hundreds on you with a smile on his face.

𝚂𝚎𝚞𝚗𝚐𝚖𝚒𝚗

Sorry not sorry but he loves his non sexual punishments. No matter what you do in or out of the bedroom, he can and will find a way to punish you for it without having to lay a finger on you.

One of his favorites is making you write a sentence down over and over again. Kinda cliché "teacher" punishment but it usually gets his point across and prevents you from acting out (for like a week max lol). If he's particularly annoyed at you/frustrated he will make you write it in Korean & wont translate it for you more than once lol.

Another one he really likes is making you kneel on the floor instead of on the couch. He's not really huge on forbidding you from watching tv unless you want him to go that far, but you're not gonna be allowed to sit on the soft, comfy couch- you're gonna be kneeling on the floor, most likely by his leg so you can still cuddle up to him (he'll grant you a small pillow if it's a longer punishment)

Jeongin loves picking your outfits and your accessories for you. He's not usually too dominant out of the bedroom otherwise, and it's very rare that he is, but this is the main way he is.

Even before you two lived together, he would text you a grossly sweet good morning message and would include a comment about how you should send him a few outfits for him to choose from you to wear. But now that you guys are living together, he takes it upon himself to pick out an outfit for you while you're still in bed or in the bathroom waking up.

Don Knotts (The Incredible Mr. Limpet, The Ghost and Mr Chicken, The Reluctant Astronaut)—Just look at him. He’s just a lil scrungly guy. Also he started entertaining as a ventriloquist, and there’s nothing scrunglier than a ventriloquist. In all seriousness, Don Knotts’ career is singularly unique. TBH, I was first introduced to Don knotts in things like three's company, the og Scooby-Doo cartoons, and later on that Disney chicken little movie. He's probably most remembered from his time on the Andy griffith show. But just look at him! Don't you just wanna put him situations?

it’s true that i am lucky enough to have a number of friends i know i can turn to! for a really long time i didn’t, though, and sometimes when i think about all the people i care about who care about me in return i am genuinely stunned. i don’t know what your life looks like but either way it comes down to a few things: luck and consistency, i think. and believing genuinely you deserve the love and connection others want to give you.

when i say luck i don’t mean waiting around for people to find you. like sometimes that works! but most of the time it’s about creating the conditions for you to meet new people. if you’re still in school maybe this looks like attending club meetings or going to an interesting-sounding lecture or sitting down with the group of people you always see hanging out on the lawn. if you’re not in school maybe it means showing up to a movie screening at the local indie cinema a little early to chat and mill about, or getting a membership at a pottery studio, or going to an event at a game store near your house. if you create the circumstances in which u might meet people you who share your interests and values you probably will! so it’s not reaaaally luck, but it kind of is, only because you don’t know who exactly you’ll meet in these spaces. there are lots of opportunities to come across new people if u look into it and though it can admittedly be kind of nerve-racking if you’re not accustomed to going places alone before you have people to go with, but being a part of the world is almost always worth it.

consistency on the other hand is just about fostering the relationships that come out of these chance meetings or brief conversations until they come naturally to you. when you stumble across someone you think u could be friends with, keeping in touch is so important even if it’s mortifying to like. message someone that you’d love to hang out again or specifically reach out to suggest doing something together. but it really is that simple! i reconnected with some of my elementary school best friends who i hadn’t spoken to in years recently, and we all ended up chatting so much we decided to get brunch together to catch up, and then consistently stayed in contact to an extent where we have periodic meet-ups even though our lives have diverged so much. it’s been really nice and it was completely worth the sense of vague embarrassment and shame i felt at first putting in the effort to regularly reach out because they were also looking for company and happy to hear from me!

i will also be super honest about the fact that oftentimes you get nepo baby’d into having more friends! like for me, i got back in touch with a high school friend of mine (now my girlfriend of two years) back when we were in university together, met their friends who soon became my friends, and ended up joining a big group of people we all continued to invite new friends into. friendship, once you foster it, begets more friendship. if someone cares about you they usually will want you to meet the other people they care about too.

anyway. i don’t think i’m a very strong person at all, but i’m grateful you see me this way. i often fail at reaching out when i know i should and when i’m doing poorly i tend to try and push people away on purpose because i talk myself into thinking that i’m a burden and that my friends deserve better. but they love me anyway and are sad when i do this! so really it’s not about inherent strength, it’s just like. about. trusting that you are someone worth knowing and being around even when things feel hard, that your friends choose to hang out with and stay in your life because they value and love you. it takes time to believe it even though it’s true.

sorry if these thoughts were really scattered! i hope i made sense. i know that it’s so much easier to say these things than actually do them, but i’ve been in your shoes before and i’m still really delighted and surprised to find that i have a community to lean on. i hope that eventually you’re similarly able to find people who will love u for a long time and that life grows easier to bear both because nice things happen and because you’re sharing it with your loved ones. i’m wishing you so well!

Dead Poets as Kids

-Meeks knew how to read and write before everyone else in his grade. This boy would read himself to sleep ☹️. Not that his mom didn’t want to, but he insisted on being a big boy and doing it himself! We love an independent king.

-Knox and Charlie were neighbors and were kind of forced to be friends, but they eventually got used to each other’s company.

-I have a feeling Knox is a middle child (wild take, but hear me out). He has an older and a younger sister, but he’s the only boy. That would make him closer to his dad, leaving the girls closer to their mom.

-Neil was such a messy kid—one of those little boys who always had messy hair and food around his mouth. Despite his mom’s constant efforts to keep him clean, he would get dirty again in no time. But that didn’t stop him from having fun!

-Todd had imaginary friends. Yes, I know that sounds sad, but as someone who had imaginary friends, it really isn’t! He talked to them regularly and told his mom about how they encouraged him to be braver and make more friends ☹️😭.

-Pitts, as the lovely @/goodnightbirdy said, was raised by his grandmother. No, his parents weren’t dead, but they worked too much and didn’t have the time to be with him all the time. And yes, I said “them” because Pitts is the only one in the group who, canon or not, seems to actually have siblings. And there are a lot of them! He’s in the middle but is the oldest of the boys.

-With Charlie, we know he has a little sister. Oh god, this man is SO older-brother coded. He asked for a little brother for so long, and after his mom got pregnant, he was so excited. When he found out it was a girl, he was a bit disappointed at first, but then he loved her. He played with her, and eventually, as they both grew older, she started to pick up on his attitude. He slowly realized he had created a little monster—but a monster, nonetheless.

-Cameron is really difficult for me—not because I hate him, noooo! But he reminds me of a boy from my high school who was the ex-boyfriend of my friend, so we didn’t like him one bit. Anyways! In the movie, he said he loved the clarinet, and that’s because one of his neighbors used to play it all afternoon in his neighborhood. He always wanted to learn, but his parents couldn’t stand the noise, so he never really got the chance to play.

-Neil and Charlie were each other’s first roommates!!!! They were super messy and had dirty socks and laundry lying around everywhere. It got so bad that one time Knox stepped into their room and gagged so hard they thought he was going to puke. After that, they became a little more cautious about cleaning their room.

-Meeks and Knox were also each other’s first roommates!!!! Now, to me, this is an interesting duo. I feel like Knox was extremely talented at folding clothes, and Meeks wasn’t. One day, Meeks was way too desperate to fold his laundry but didn’t want to ask Knox for help, even though Knox clearly knew what he was doing. Knox noticed the mess Meeks left once he stepped out of the room and folded everything for him! Such cuties 😭.

-Now! If you hadn’t guessed, Pitts and Cameron were each other’s first roommates!!!

Wow, what a surprise.

• Cameron = only child / Pitts = too many siblings.

At first, they were not compatible at all. Over time, though, Pitts started seeing Cameron as one of his siblings and did the same things he did with his brothers—tying his shoelaces together, wrinkling his freshly made bed, or hiding his things. But don’t think for one second that Pitts did these things out of malice—no! It was his way of showing warmth and respect for Cameron. And Cameron didn’t mind because, eventually, he got the hang of it.

first: i wrote and deleted like 3 paragraphs of supernatural meta here and then remembered the post is actually about wrestling.

so...the reasons nick is less popular are not imo because he is quieter or any nebulous personality trait, in or out of kayfabe. i don't really want to get into that so i'm not going to unless anyone wants me to make a very long and carefully worded post about that kind of thing.

but i will say the issue is not overall that he's less popular, it's that wrestling fans can be freakin' vile. the reason nick is not on social media is not because he's not as liked as matt is, it's because fans were vile to him. not "fans (everyone)", just "fans", people who are fans of wrestling one way or another. the reason we lost the halcyon days of the bucks having separate twitters is because people were awful to them, all the time, and are still awful regularly, by doing things such as posting conspiracy theories about them being pedophiles, posting antisemitic conspiracy theories, spending every second of their day trying to tear down two guys who for the most part mind their business. that is why haters ruin everything.

and then the people who do like the bucks don't always give nick the flowers he deserves on top of that. and it sucks, jay's right that fans don't always do a good enough job actually expressing love for the people who give us so much, and i think that's partly to do with a huge growing disconnect where people don't actually seem to like being fans much anymore. and people just straight up aren't kind about nick, like the amount of times i've been in the nick tag and there has been a post about matt where nick is not even mentioned but people tagged him anyway. for what reason? he gets ignored and left out a lot, i don't really care if someone makes a matt-centric post (guilty), but i do care if they actually go out of their way to make it clear they don't care about nick.

i'm not here to police how anyone uses tumblr or who they're fans of, but i think just trying to boil it down to a dean/sam type divide isn't quite... right? especially because dean and sam spend a good amount of the show in conflict, that's pretty much how you end up with these camps of fans. you're not wrong that sold as set pairs always end up with one guy more popular anyway. but it's different to how fans tend to neglect one half of the young bucks a bit.

but anyway, i don't want to shit on fans too much. it's mostly that haters ruin everything.

& the bucks do know the people who love them.

October this year has felt kind of vague and adrift for me, no real festive spirit to speak of--or at least nowhere near how last year felt, when it was Year of the Vampire and all.

BUT I am remedying that now with a combined pincer attack of 1) relistening to Night Vale from the beginning on my commute to work and 2) rereading Warm Bodies on my breaks/in my spare time. Things are getting increasingly spooky up in here
