I've fallen in love with Star Trek a few years ago. In The Next Generation, the Enterprise's computer screens caught my eyes and I ended up creating icons and widgets for my phone.

Something I really appreciate about DS9 after watching TNG is that there's like. Actually next to no mid, corny, shoehorned in romance plots that end up kinda actually grating on the narrative. I can only think of one time this has happened in DS9, and well, in TNG there's far too many. Like, there's not a romance plot every other episode, and when there is it actually feels natural for the characters personalities + dynamics instead of feeling like the formulaic, 'man + woman interacting = must kiss', y'know? I love TNG to bits but like... it really stood out to me as a flaw. Happy DS9 avoided that.
