Jaime and his dada want to gift you some sandwiches! Do you guys accept?

Of course we accept! In fact: 

“Hey, Warren,” Leo said, waving a hand in front of his tío’s face while the newscaster slowly woke up, “there’s a kid handing out sandwiches. Want one?” 

Warren rubbed his head, still reeling from the events of the horse riding competition. Beside Leo, another turtle with an orange mask was bent down in front of him, sandwich in hand as an offering. A tall rat man stood by as well, seemingly distracted by competitors in the distance. 

“Uh, thank you.” The newscaster graciously accepted his gift, still dazed. He turned to Leo. “What happened?” 

“Well,” the blue turtle righted himself and leaned against one of his swords, taking a bite from his newly acquired snack and chewing in thought, “we were doing great, then things started going a little sideways, and then you got bucked off your horse and we lost. Like, you might wanna check yourself over.” Leo gestured to Warren’s torso. 

“Anyway, was gonna portal us back when you woke up, but then these fine folks came around with sandwiches and I will not pass up on free food.” Leo took another bite, savoring it. It tasted like home. 

Warren had stopped listening at that point, pulling up his shirt to reveal two hoof print shaped scars on his stomach. He grimaced. 

“Oh no… so, breaking news, it’s permanent. How am I gonna explain this to Ron? I don’t even like horses!” 

Leo’s earring dangled as he shook his head, waving off Warren’s concerns. “Don’t worry, man, none of this is canon.” 

“What?” 

“Anyway,” Leo said, turning to those kind enough to gift him food, “thanks for the road snacks!” 

He swung his sword and formed a portal, the mall they portalled from on the other side, pulling his uncle through. ��Bye!”
