Question do you ship Leosagi, Leorai or others?

Ah! Well tbh-

03 Leorai and 07 Leorai I ship them, mainly because I'm a huge sucker for the forbidden lovers from different sides of two opposing parties troupe. Leorai also applies for the other types of media where they're not related. As long as they're not related then I like the ship.

12 Leorai absolutely not due to obvious reasons. This also goes for Rise Leorai cuz again for obvious reasons. Absolutely do not ship these variants of Leorai and I'll die on this hill.

Leosagi......hmmm.....well tbh........

I don't....really ship them. At least romantically. Like yes it's an adorable ship and I love the fan art people make but I just like the thought of Leo having a friend cuz honestly he deserves to have that. He deserves to have someone he can confined in like Donnie has April or Raph has Casey ya know? So it's strictly platonic in the Leosagi department for me.

I also ship Mikey and Renet from the 12 series as well as Mikey and Shinigami from the 12 series, cuz they're adorable as all hell and work well with one another in both pairings, as well as Mikey and Kala cuz omg how can you not (dude they carry little photos of one another help-).

Ramona absolutely in both the 12 series and 87 series cuz they're literally perfect and complement each other perfectly. April and Casey in basically every version that there is, cuz yes, literally been my OTP since childhood. April and Donnie and Casey from the 12 series (it can go as either an OTP or OT3 for all three of them). And finally I love the ship of Leo and Lotus Blossom from the 87 series it's super cute.

Oh also Leo and April from the 12 series cuz they're incredibly cute and I simply love the chemistry between them it's just so good.

well honestly it’s mostly my personal bias for leolotus

lotus blossom is his best love interest by far (all his other love interests are either toxic, his sister, dead, or from a vision he had), and i really want to see her return. she’s my favorite tmnt character.

and a new version of her being paired with Leonardo would be icing on the cake.

as for april, i have nothing against her at all! i love april.

but i think the only april x turtle ship i could ever love is 2012 apritello. it feels wrong to pair her with the turtles otherwise. she ends up being their sister figure usually.

i don’t mind leo having a crush on her. just as long as he eventually moves on. the turtles had small crushes on april at the beginning of 87, but it went away around early season 3 and was replaced with a beautiful sibling bond

TMNT: A Lotus to his Lotus

This drawing took longer than expected, and part of me feels like I’m not getting better at drawing the Turtles, but I wanna present one of my 2012 versions of a past TMNT character. So, here’s Leo and Lotus Blossom, who is a minor character who appeared in the 1987 series! Part of me was kinda bummed that Leo was the only one out of his brothers who didn’t have a love interest in the series, and then enter my take on Lotus! Of course Leo has a crush on this cute girl, but Lotus is also a kick-butt kunoichi whose ancestors were both Foot and Hamato Clan ninjas. She’s overall neutral in the conflict between the two clans, but she is good friends with Karai and later the Turtles. She is a part of Karai’s New Foot Clan and moved to New York with Shinigami. When she met Leo, he fell for her, and the two are blushing dorks when they’re alone together.  Lotus, personality-wise, is inspired by Suki from the Avatar franchise (that’s also her headcanon voice), and some parts of her design is inspired by Sakura from Naruto: Shippuden. As mentioned, this drawing took longer than anticipated to complete, but I’m proud of the outcome. I have mixed feelings about Leo, but I haven’t drawn Turtles in a while. Might as well practice again! And I had a lot of fun drawing Lotus too. I have a few more personal 2012 takes on past TMNT characters I plan to share, and I’m happy I get to show you Lotus! I’m hoping that some of my TMNT mutuals like her!
