she meets the others a bit later, i wanted them to meet donnie first cause april and donnie are one of my fav tmnt duos, and in my iteration they have a shared love of science. i like when april is like a sister to the turtles so i wanted her to meet them before the actual plot started happening, so by the time they start going on actual missions she’s known them about 5 years

this happens when donnie is 10 and april is 11
