I made this drawing some days ago and now I can finally publish it 😌

I love agent bishop’s concept, like, he fights everything that’s not human loosing his humanity in the process

Plus, he represents the threat of being discovered by the government, emphasizing the fact that they cannot rely on anyone (though in tmnt 03 they do get a lot of allys like the justice force, but you know what I’m trying to say)

Plus he’s a really cool character on his own (i love him and the narrative that he creates, but I hate him so so much)

Thinking about 2003!Leatherhead and how sad, beautiful and poetic his story arc is. He's such a great character and I feel like there weren't enough episodes with him. I need to see more of him and turtles hanging out together or just anything wholesome really

A small headcanon that I don't think I've seen anyone else talk about is the possibility of Leatherhead also being a part of O'Neil Tech in the 2003 series.

In the Fast Forward season, we find out that Donnie and April opened and Co-owned O'Neil Tech together. I mean, we even see Donnie in disguise as he's cutting the ribbon during the official opening. And I thought that it would've been nice if they discussed with Leatherhead if he wanted to become an official scientist at their lab and have the funding that he needs to create his inventions during the construction of the building. The reasoning was because if he agreed, then he would be given his own lab big and spacious enough to maneuver in so that his big size wouldn't give him any trouble.

I even imagined a railway station from the lab to his home in the subway station for easy transportation.

I mean, just imagine him in his official white coat with an official name tag that said Dr. Leatherhead. Granted, only April and Donnie would see it, but it would look so cute, and he'd be happy anyway.

Underdark 2: The Undarkening! Aka @plothooksinc blessed us all with a sequel to Underdark; Chiaroscuro which focuses on Raph and Donnie's side of the story and the rescue operation. Obviously, I enjoyed it greatly. I sketched the first doodle immediately after KJ showed me the first wip of the story. The 2nd is for celebrating her finishing the fic <3 And as an extra, here's a couple Mikey&Leos from the regular story. One of them I published with my first Underdark fanart, but I feel it might been too hidden under Read More. The other one is new ✨

TMNT 2003 + Onion headlines because I was bored

Recently people might have noticed I'm drawing LH and the babies for Papadile and Croctots very differently. That is just me me being silly and having fun designing stuff. For the main story they look how I usually draw them. The only reason I made these alternate designs is because I heavily restricted myself for story purposes because neither LH or the bois have any markings in 2003 and for the fic to fit into canon more. And I love markings so I kept it limited. For this alternate version I pretty much branched out more so this is what they all would have looked like with an original backstory story/ designs withough those restrictions. I might do something with them in the future but idk ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

TMayNT Day 8: Favorite Turtle Ally Dynamic

Day 8 of @tmaynt Prompt: Favorite Turtle Ally Dynamic! I know i already talked about it during Day 6's prompt, but like, come on! These two are the cutest! Sweet smart boi's that can kick ass together! And after Good Genes Part 1&2, and seeing how determined he was to save him was just so sweet! And his "You will not touch my friend! If he must be subdued, then I will do it! Not you Fiend! "

Just, AHHHHHHHH! My baby bois! I just wish we got to see these two interact way more after that. (Lucky for me that I have my own stories where they do just that! Bro's nights in the lab, let's GOOOOO!)

Rise!Karai is my fave version of Karai and I am so glad to see at least one universe have some kind of healthy family relationships. If they ever make another good crossover I want all the Karai's to meet. I need that.

“RAPH!”

When Leo had seen that briefcase under Leatherhead’s arm, he hadn’t gotten the chance to ask him about it. He barely gave it any notice, a meaningless glint of silver in Leatherhead’s claw when his brother was standing beside him, confused and smiling and normal.

He should have asked. He should have questioned him immediately.

What’s that saying? Hindsight is twenty-twenty?

“MIKEY!”

Leatherhead hadn’t said a word about it. Not until Donnie changed. Not until they got to see first-hand how a turtle turns into a beast.

They’d called Leatherhead to the lair in their panic.

And watched as it took three injections to bring their brother back.

“OVER HERE!”

“I don’t understand,” He’d whispered weakly, tired and sore. Four hours of fighting. Two hours of calming his family. More unending nightmares of raising a weapon to a brother, “He was better.”

“Bishop feared it would not be permanent,” Leatherhead admitted as he laid the vials on the table. “I did not want to scare you.”

But he did. They’d been scared. They were still scared. They were…

Leo was scared, every time his brother’s eyes took a demonizing tint.

“WATCH OUT!”

Leo tackles his brother to the floor, ignoring the animalistic snarls as he jabs the needle into his neck. The pitch shoots up into a screech, muscles quivering and bones cracking as the body contorts beneath him. The pain transforms into a wail that only trails off once the job is done, and Leo’s brother is now in his arms.

He’s sobbing as he squirms in his embrace, trying to get distance between them. Leo doesn’t blame him. He doesn’t release either.

“I can’t do it.” He’d whispered when Leo’d caught him trying to sneak out with the vials. “I can’t do this anymore.”

“I know you hate needles but you need this.”

“It’s not that. It’s not. It’s- It’s like acid. Like I’m pumping lava directly into my blood.” Donnie’d shuddered. “It’s like dying.”

“It’s supposed to help you.”

“It feels like it’s killing me.”

“You’re not going to die.”

“I almost wish I was.” He stared blankly at the vials in Leo’s hand, but he wouldn’t look at him. “Then it’d be over.”

“Please.” He gasps, “Please, please, please.”

“You’ll be okay.” Leo keeps the hold firm. “Be still. It’ll pass. It’ll pass.”

“No, no, no,” Donnie’s eyes are full of life again, desperate and glazed and looking at Leo like a brother should when he raised a blade or a tranquilizer gun to him. When he puts him through pain that he doesn’t deserve. And even now, he complies and stops the battle as tears stream down. “Just let me go. Please. Please.”

“I’m sorry.” Leo whispers. “I’m so sorry.”

And suddenly, the trap turns into a hug as a little brother seeks comfort and relief against agony, and Leo squeezes like he’ll never let go. Donnie made him promise that he wouldn’t let go after he came home from a world without him.

He can’t let him go. He won’t let go.

Leo promised.

TMayNT Day 6: Favorite Mutant Ally

Sixth day of @tmaynt! As far as mutant allies go, Leatherhead is definitely a good one to have! This drawing sort of ended up as a cross between 2003 Leatherhead, and what I imagine he might look like if he was in Rise (apparently, a bit similar in build to Rise Raph).

... How do you explain LH making it to the FF future?

I'm guess you're talking about the headcanon that I made of Leatherhead having his own lab and working at O'Neil Tech. But either I worded it wrong, or maybe you didn't read it right, but Leatherhead doesn't go to the future. During the FF season, we were TOLD that Donnie and April opened a lab together during the present, passing the ownership down during the generations. And then, 100 years later, the ownership fell onto Cody.

My headcanon takes place during the present when the lab is under construction. Like I said, they ask Leatherhead if he wants to work as an official scientist in their lab, and once he agrees, they made sure to add a bigger lab in the blueprints just to give him extra room to work with.

Since it's harder to disguise a giant mutant alligator as a human with just a hat and a trench coat, he obviously couldn't be there to cut the ribbon during the opening.
