in so much pain that i'm honestly second guessing if any of this is worth it lol

#like realistically just being able to actually eat should be a huge QOL improvement #but if the migraines and tmj pain actually stay more like what they are right now it might not even matter #I'm trying to correct that bad rotation in my jaw rn and it is killing me #it was to sit way shifted that's the only pain free position #and i don't know why #it was suggested that improper bone development could be a factor #which may only be correctable with surgery #and idk if i believe that even works let alone want to do it #or could #and it just feels like at this rate my only option is to spend the next 20 years chasing the next potential fix #before just giving up and accepting that i simply was not meant to feel good lol #and so it's tempting to just get ahead of the curve and do it now #obviously i won't. the process is already started and there's no way it doesn't at least help #but morale is down i will not lie

i made my dentist appointment 😩

#lowkey keep thinking about all the things that could be wrong w my mouth #cavities and root canals needed for allll my teeth #or tmj has completely eroded my jawbone and I need surgery!!#ooh or advanced gum disease and all my tooths need to be ripped out so they can put in dentures 😅#logically I know there probably aren't that many things wrong but I don't know for sure #AND i haven't ever had anything other than cleanings and baby tooth extractions (plus wisdom teeth)#so idk what to expect #i haven't been to a dentist since 2007 😞#last I heard i desperately needed braces but my mom didn't want to pay for them #soooo i didn't get them #and I live in shame ever since #shame and eternal fear #very glad to make an appointment for myself and not one of the cats though!!

I think that dentist who accosted that girl working at a drive thru talking about "can I fix your smile" is actually evil. that is someone at their job. I wouldn't be jumping up and down pissing myself excited either if some rude asshole said some shit like that to me. people with gaps or discoloration or missing teeth or crooked teeth are always the butt of the fucking joke anyway and people are more than just opportunities for "content" like some lame ass before and after of bad veneers. like he probably embarrassed her bad as fuck and just has absolutely zero awareness of that or how mean it is to point a camera in someone's face and say that. I hate how warped social media has made people's brains in what fucking world is it ever appropriate to do that to someone? leave people alone

#what's worse is im 99% sure the “fix” would be horribly done horse veneers that wouldn't even fit her #like every hack ass dentist does now #as if that doesn't make you develop horrible tmj and jaw issues that can require surgery down the line #kita chats ☆ˎˊ˗

I'm in so much pain it's not even funny

#like I am so happy about FOB tickets and I'm trying to focus on that as a distraction but rn I'm just sitting here sobbing in pain #I have so much homework to do but I don't have enough brain power for it after barely sleeping for 2 nights in a row #also barely eating because PAIN #my brain is fried rn #I am straight up not doing well #I'm going to at least start my essay and once I can't function for homework anymore I'm going to look up TMJ surgery again #idk that anything is going to help or where I could even go to receive treatment but I can't keep living like this #I'm scarily close to intentionally breaking my jaw so a medical professional is forced to take my pain seriously #I wish I was kidding #ashley rambles

#hhhhh im still really freaked out about needing a root canal thing done again on the same tooth #my clinic called me to make sure the doctor explained things to me #and i totally misunderstood everything she was asking me and i just mansplained everything back to her #she was looking for like a yes or no answer and i just foot in the mouth thought she wasnt clear on what the endodontist sent her #listen im tired and sore and scared and hadnt had pain medicine yet at that point in the morning #understated my pain too bc i have fibromyalgia and its like. i gotta subtract like 5 points to cover for the fact that...#...im in constant pain all the time including all of my teeth #she was like 'we can probably process the request for the second root canal by next week'#excuse me? 🙃 so im gonna be having fucked up half-teeth one on each side of my mouth?? till the end of january??#how tf am i supposed to eat anything?!?! my diet is already fucked up from having jaw pain and tooth pain from orthodontics #im having regular days of 3-digit calories and none of them are healthy calories except the supplements im taking like #how tf am i supposed to eat anything man im tired and its so hard for me to make any food at all bc of my back pain #im so fucking tired of everything i dont want oral surgery man just let me live with the infection at this point #that tooth doesnt have a root anymore so i dont even notice it and ive been used to the sensitivity since 2022 man #this is too much and im scared to call the tmj doctor about my orthodontics bc i dont wanna ...#...sit in the fucking car 2 hours each way to go for another visit bc of my back pain. its unbearable just sitting in the car 5 mins #wonder if getting orthodontics made the infection show bc of the tooth movements. just ugh. im sick of everhthing happening #vent #personal #medical #dental #delete later / /#ShitPost.exe
