in so much pain that i'm honestly second guessing if any of this is worth it lol

#like realistically just being able to actually eat should be a huge QOL improvement #but if the migraines and tmj pain actually stay more like what they are right now it might not even matter #I'm trying to correct that bad rotation in my jaw rn and it is killing me #it was to sit way shifted that's the only pain free position #and i don't know why #it was suggested that improper bone development could be a factor #which may only be correctable with surgery #and idk if i believe that even works let alone want to do it #or could #and it just feels like at this rate my only option is to spend the next 20 years chasing the next potential fix #before just giving up and accepting that i simply was not meant to feel good lol #and so it's tempting to just get ahead of the curve and do it now #obviously i won't. the process is already started and there's no way it doesn't at least help #but morale is down i will not lie

#my tmj pain is so incredibly severe that i feel like blowing my brains out #i'm not gonna but i just want relief so bad #i cant take this anymore #but of course this flare happened on a weekend so i can't call a specialist until monday #the only other time i've been in this much pain was when i had a bilateral pulmonary embolism #i dug out my oxycodone from when i had surgery 2 years ago because idk what else to do #the pain is worse when i lay down idk how i'n gonna sleep #screaming into the void :(#i'm*

i made my dentist appointment 😩

#lowkey keep thinking about all the things that could be wrong w my mouth #cavities and root canals needed for allll my teeth #or tmj has completely eroded my jawbone and I need surgery!!#ooh or advanced gum disease and all my tooths need to be ripped out so they can put in dentures 😅#logically I know there probably aren't that many things wrong but I don't know for sure #AND i haven't ever had anything other than cleanings and baby tooth extractions (plus wisdom teeth)#so idk what to expect #i haven't been to a dentist since 2007 😞#last I heard i desperately needed braces but my mom didn't want to pay for them #soooo i didn't get them #and I live in shame ever since #shame and eternal fear #very glad to make an appointment for myself and not one of the cats though!!

Eventually, I will get my facial cranial surgery to fix my fucked up jaw. I’m so excited to not be in pain anymore, but I’m not ready for it.

I just got use to my ugly face and I’m not ready to have my jaw fixed. I’m not ready for people to switch up and decide I’m suddenly beautiful because my facial deformity is gone.

Why couldn’t I just be seen as beautiful before too?

Why am I always seen as undesirable and hideous to the point of dehumanizing mockery?

Why do people give me pitying looks when they try to pretend I’m pretty for a moment?

Can’t I still be loved if I’m not beautiful?

I’m so tired.

I'm in so much pain it's not even funny

#like I am so happy about FOB tickets and I'm trying to focus on that as a distraction but rn I'm just sitting here sobbing in pain #I have so much homework to do but I don't have enough brain power for it after barely sleeping for 2 nights in a row #also barely eating because PAIN #my brain is fried rn #I am straight up not doing well #I'm going to at least start my essay and once I can't function for homework anymore I'm going to look up TMJ surgery again #idk that anything is going to help or where I could even go to receive treatment but I can't keep living like this #I'm scarily close to intentionally breaking my jaw so a medical professional is forced to take my pain seriously #I wish I was kidding #ashley rambles
