Any Unikitty headcanons?

Oh, I have some!

Unikitty tends to enjoy any normal cat activities.

She could represent Finn's more creative and chaotic childhood (I like to think that he got her when he was like... four?)

She has repressed memories of the past.

The Unikitty! Show happened before TLM 1.

She's scared of pickles or cucumbers. Why? I don't know.

Even if she's still as energetic as she was, she's matured a lot more ever since the apocalypse era started. She had to toughen up and the UltraKitty mode let her emotions out in a healthy way, as she repressed those bad feelings for God knows how long! She probably wants to make everyone happy and calm in the new kingdom Watevra gave her! Though there's still that wild energy from her :]

Just like the other hcs I have with Rex and Benny, I did mention that Unikitty does have repressed memories! Yes, but in her case, instead of just having blurry memories of who she once was (my Rex hc) or simply completely forgetting who she once was (... Benny hc), Unikitty just has... glimpses of the past that she doesn't understand.

MetalBeard and her are like... probably the oldests in the group... maybe? I'd like to think Unikitty took the throne in Cuckooland for a long time ajd years have passed by. She's younger than MetalBeard, yes, but still old.

She would have loved Rex if he was still around. They would have been best friends... she knows that he's not like Emmet! But she would like him to feel comfortable in his own skin.

Despite everything, Unikitty cares deeply for Emmet and it shows. I'm talking about the Apocalypsburg era. I feel like they were close friends and alongside Lucy, Unikitty was just worried that they might end up hurting Emmet for... being too soft.

She would be a nice mom.

A hopeless romantic, that's for certain! Love is magnificent for her and she loves to see her friends being in love and happy! She... she hopes she can get someone for her, too...

Her magic is destructive, yes, but I'd like to think that aside making stuff explode, she can change stuff with using it!

She probably has an photo album that has pictures of her family and friends.

Sweet Mayhem and her get along certainly well. I think they would be nice friends too.

Unikitty shows her love to MetalBeard by getting him some treasures she founds in her own planet. MetalBeard repays this obviously.

Unikitty loves him with the entirety of her soul and she's happy that she found someone.

aah hey dkjhfdk didn’t expect this post to get attention but i might

so i’m unsure what you want sources about so i’ll be a mess fkhdj but Ashman’s gayness is public knowledge (his wiki is pretty much up to date both about his suffering from AIDs and the fact he died while in relationship with a man) so any queer reading of the songs he had worked on especially on The Little Mermaid (when he was diagnosed) and on The Beauty and the Beast and even Aladdin (he died mid-production of this one but he wrote Friend Like Me, Arabian Night and Prince Ali) are pretty much public knowledge. 

For Andersen, sources varies especially about tlm, but his sexuality had been pretty much coined as bisexual or biromantic/asexual by historians - he has expressed in his diaries a complete refusal and rejection of sexual relationships and has expressed romantic feelings toward women and men alike in his books. By current wording i think considering him biromantic asexual would be the most appropriate term but we can’t really force the label on him dkkdhf. Anyway there are sources on his wiki on the love life section. 

Mainly an extract from the letters got from him to a male friend:  "I languish for you as for a pretty Calabrian wench ... my sentiments for you are those of a woman. The femininity of my nature and our friendship must remain a mystery."  (sourced in some legitimate books about Andersen). This quote is generally used as a reference point in analysing The Little Mermaid due to how it matches some descriptions of the Little Mermaid story and the fact the man it was directed at refused Andersen’s feelings because he was due to marry to a perfectly nice woman, which mirrors the Mermaid’s anguish over her unrequired love over her prince who is due to marry a nice other woman(at least as theorized from books like  My Dear Boy: Gay Love Letters through the Centuries (1998) - this links also has others enamored letters Andersen wrote to others men)

imo this is the most solid interpretation of tlm and anyway tlm cannot be dissociated from the fact its author was queer so any queer reading is probably closer to the truth than anything else. (by the by just looking for “the little mermaid andersen gay” on google will bring you to a lot of queer reading all around the rainbow about tlm)

so yeah, queer reading of The Little Mermaid are there both in the original and in the disney movie, and queer reading is here in BatB’s disney movie due to Ashman’s writting. 

I hope it answers the question? This is something that is very common knowledge so idk which sources to really point you at since a lot of those sources are historical books and such. 

But yeah, imo i think it can give a different lense to those movies.

Would like to clear some things out on old ships I used to like while I was on The Lego Movie Fandom! Because a guy is. Claiming that I am problematic for liking/have liked them them. Okay!

1- Selfcest and Remmet. Okay we know Selfcest is... not the best on twitter for whatever reason, self love actually rocks a whole ton, but the main issue here is Remmet. I shipped them even before knowing they were the same person, and the major issue with them is that the fandom considers them as brothers due to one line in the movie, which turns out to not even be the one that was planned to be on the movie, as it has been revealed on the novel that the dialogue was different from what ended up in the final product! (On the movie Emmet says "and I'll be the brother you never had" but Rex doesn't like the idea and such, but on the novel, the line changes to "and I'll be the friend you never had", to which Rex is comforted when hearing so, which is. what was supposed to be originally, as the novel goes on deep detail about the characters and story). And again, Rex and Emmet ultimately don't consider eachother brothers, it was. Really just a joke line.

i will not get on remmet díscourse because i moved on from tlm and don't even care anymore, and everything that could ever be said about it has been said already. i no longer ship them because i have moved on from fandoms and there are like actual issues out there to worry about other than kissing yourself.

2- The claim of me liking Feral x Human is simply not true. I actually did not know to what this guy was referring to and then I realized that on the Lego fandom, I only had ONE ship that """""""fits"""""" that description he gave on that, and said ship is literally Rainbow Coins (MetalBeard x Unikitty), which are these two characters here:

as you can see and if you do know the context of both movies, unikitty is a grown woman (who's also a queen, mind you) who just happens to be an cat/unicorn hybrid, and metalbeard is a literal cyborg. unikitty is fully conscious and aware and. talks. she is not a feral animal. neither is metalbeard a human.

as well this is funny to me since originally, on tlm 2, Unikitty was PLANNED to have a crush on Rex. Who's a human. So this is pretty much like. Ironic, don't you think?

3- Me "shipping minor x adult" issss also not true. When I was on the LMK fandom, I shipped MK and Monkey King without knowing that they were highly discussed on the fandom since, the headcanon of MK being a minor is pretty popular there, and Wukong/Monkey King is an immortal being. However, it is pretty much canon that he's an adult or at least 18, since he has a driving license and considering how China IS very strict about those matters, and wouldn't let a protagonist be underage and be allowed to drive, MUCH LESS on a kids show, this just overall disproves that claim as well.

tldr: these are legos and i am an undertale fan why the hell did i went to Twitter
