What do you use to look up chips when you have the model number? Sometimes Google doesn't work so I wanna know. Also, could you point me in the direction of a good resource to learn how to read/modify chips? I really appreciate it

I just Google it, usually.

You have to be a little tricky with it: often you'll have a chip like AG1038B-13 but googling that will give you nothing. You have to try AG1038B-13 and AG1038 too, because often the extra bits are just variants/revision numbers and there won't be any results.

You also develop a sense for which numbers aren't worth searching. Like, you'll see 9334 and instantly know that's not a model number, it's a date code: 1993, 34th week.

The only other thing that'll help is searching like "SMD logos" or "IC logos", so you can figure out what company made it, as logos aren't always just the company's name/initials. That can be very helpful for tiny SMD parts, because often those companies will not really label their chips, they'll have "SMD codes", for when the chip is so tiny that all they can write is "TLK3", so they have some site you can type in those codes and it'll map them to what product it is. Hopefully.

Getting to Know You Tag Game

this is very belated, but ty for the tag @itsphantasmagoria!!!

Three ships: Drarry, RoyEd,

First ship: my first ship that i actually sought out fanart and fanfiction etc of was Bella/Edward from the twilight series 🥴 but was also very into royed as a tween. anything before that was like watching a movie and cheering for the canon love interests to get together (kovu/kiara in tlk3, max/roxanne in a goofy movie, etc lol)

Last Song: Dirty Little Secret on repeat for a few days for inspo 👀

Last Movie: Howl's Moving Castle! it's my favorite film ever, so comforting and always makes me feel inspired, and i watched it with my husband and my dad

Currently Reading: Under The Whispering Door by TJ Klune

Currently Watching: Hannibal (hugh dancy as will graham is so 👌👌 and the dark ambiance is so good)

Last thing I wrote: it's been. so long since i've written something. the last thing i wrote was ages ago, for the book series my husband and i are writing. mostly ive been drawing drarry stuff for various fests!

Currently writing: drawing rather than writing! drawing for erised and challenging myself to try new things 😤

Every time I hear the lion sleeps tonight I legit almost cry because of the scene it's in in tlk3/1.5 where they show simba timon and pumbaa sleeping together and it slowly pans out while the song goes "don't fear my little darling" it fucks me up so incredibly I can't deal with it

I liked the last part it looked like he was swimming synchronized for sure like there was simba floating in the water for sure he spent the last time in hakuna matata and then he returned to priderock to take his place on the throne

I hate when people say "Uhtred left his children" as if he abandoned them willingly, he clearly couldn't reach them out because thst would have been dangerous for them and himself.

The children were in Wessex at the hands of Alfred's priests, and until episode 7 Uhtred couldn't even come close to Wessex.

Going to take the children, and I want to remind y'all that it's not only Stiorra and Uhtred but also Oswald who was a newborn, could have resulted in a bloodshed or at least in Uhtred's death. Uhtred was thoughtful and tried his best to keep them safe, that's why he didn't go to take them. He couldn't, at least not yet.

A slight screenshot redraw of Kion!! I missed drawing this boy. I took some heavy inspo from teen Simba from TLK3. I tried practising a VHS effect i saw on youtube! Tell me what you guys think? I'm actually really proud of this one, it was going to end up similar to the fuli one but i wanted to try the same thing but with lineart this time, i think it came out well! I honestly wanna do more TLK style commissions sometime sooo...if you like what ya seee 0w0
