Who was Kagney Linn Necessary?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(the gofundme for her memorial/funeral will be at the end.)
Kagney Linn Necessary was born in Harris County, Texas in 1987, and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri and in Ridgway, Pennsylvania. [x]
In her early years, she moved to California with ambitions of becoming an actress and a singer but entered work as an exotic dancer before signing with LA Direct Models, a pornographic agency. Karter entered the adult film industry in September 2008.[x]
But that wasn't the entirety of who Kagney was. At face value, the only information I could find with a quick search was the basic information above from Wikipedia. All anyone seemed to know about her was who she was when she was in the "industry." I wanted to see what I could find about her, the person. Not Kagney Linn Karter, but Kagney Linn Necessary.
I raked through interviews she had, her personal social media accounts, and any other articles that I could find just to find any little facts about her that I could.
Tumblr media
I thought about omitting her time within the porn industry to focus solely on everything else except that. But I feel it would be tasteless to keep it out. I think it needs to be mentioned. I think it is important to show that women pulled into the porn industry are not these separate beings from any other woman with dreams. This was a 36 year old woman who was just like any other woman who was preyed upon.
Necessary released an EP, The Crossover, in 2018. In 2022, Karter released her debut album, titled The Take Over. [x] She would post clips of her singing covers of songs as well as songs from her upcoming EP on her Instagram.
In 2022, she began learning how to play the piano, even posting a video of her progress.
Necessary was also a recovering addict. In 2021, she posted about the things that helped her stay clean and how she was pleased at having a second chance at life. In an interview, she was intentionally vague about the substances she used, only referring to them as "candy" and "a little bit of everything." But with no insurance or money for rehab, she opted to detox herself at her parents home, working at their tanning salon for free in exchange for "produce."
She moved from Los Angeles to Ohio in 2019 and got involved with pole dancing fitness studios before being involved the opening of one in Akron, called Alchemy Pole Fitness. She posted many videos of herself having fun and practicing new/old moves.
In November 2023, she was posting pictures of her new house and how well it was coming together,
[their website leads to a website called Alchemy Space Studios and says that it was founded and run by a separate woman. But upon looking up the LLC for the business, Kagney is named as the registrant and she is named as the owner of the space in two separate articles.]
Tumblr media
In 2015, Carter claimed musician Chris Brown paid her $2,500 to be his escort. She reportedly tweeted things like 'I WILL NEVER F*** A WOMAN BEATER EW DISGUSTING' and 'HE IS PURE EVIL' about Brown.
I just felt like adding that because what a queen.
From her students from the studio and friends, she was known to love animals, including her dog, Murphy, and had a deep devotion to the community she was cultivating in Ohio. She was known to be fearless and empathetic, creating her studio as a place for people to feel safe and accepted.
These were the things I could find of her from her personal accounts and the people who loved her. She wasn't an object that will be missed for what "uses" it had. She was a woman who had dreams, who had a community who love her, who had a husband who loves her, dogs she cared for and loved who loved her, and a mother who loves her. I didn't want her story to be another reblog of a lost life.
I know this post is sporadic and clunky, but I wanted to just grab any information I could without crossing boundaries (ex. contacting the family or something tasteless like that). I just wanted to share what she had already shared with the world.
Tumblr media
Her friend, Megan Lee, has posted a gofundme that has already surpassed their goal. But I would still suggest donating if you are able. Rest in peace, Kagney Linn Necessary. 💜

Part 2
༺ ♰ ༻
Washington DC
8:30AM
2009
Two days. That’s all they gave you. Two days time off from the last BSAA issued mission which had you sitting in the med bay for three consecutive nights, test after test to insure you hadn’t caught any strain of virus from getting beaten up by B.O.Ws. You’d been transferred to the USSTRATCOM before you could get comfortable in your own bed again. Chris Redfield himself had you commissioned for a good two months down at a station in South America, carrying out operations for BSAA intel which had gotten you into a whole lot of trouble by the last week, hence the man himself took in three squadrons to finish the job. And when the time came for STRATCOM to issue additional ‘more than capable’ agents, Redfield had personally put in a request for you to be transferred to a more- suited position. You’d been under his and the BSAA’s command for the past 8 years as recommended by your commanding officers from military- seeing as they’d found no other candidates as hard in the head and skilled as needed.
Now you were here, headed towards the reception of an all-too-well government agency better built then the BSAA could’ve ever wished for. Not like you had a choice anyway, Redfield wouldn’t be allowing you back into his side of the field for security reasons and well, because he was worried. You felt so- small in this large hall that would be USSTRATCOM’s lobby, your interaction with the woman at the desk echoed like a pathetic whisper.
“I’m sorry but you’re not registered here. I can look you up if you were with any other department-“
“That won’t be needed, she should be cleared.” A smile interrupted your one sided exchange with some government receptionist.
You turned to the woman who’d just claimed she had cleared you.
“Ingrid Hunnigan, I’ve been issued to your transfer.”
There was no need for an introduction, she basically had you on file. Hunnigan made her way around the desk, signalling for you to tail behind.
You wanted to ask her details on the job, how long you’d be out, when you’d be out, introduction to an F.O.S agent- nothing came out except small nods in understanding as she pointlessly flagged out the entire building as you walked through the rustling halls. You’ve grown to not care much about human interaction outside of what needed to be done.
“They didn’t brief you on anything?” She whipped her head around and stopped in her tracks.
“Not at all.”
And that was enough to receive a huff of disappointment as she redirected her route.
Oblivious to your party, a certain agent was currently flicking through your life’s record at the end of the hall, skimming over your profile and various written reports out of a Manila folder, fair in size but not large enough for a normal agent file. His eyes tracing over your documents- despite your age you were quite accomplished, issued in the military and pulled out of ranger school to transfer to the torturous trainings of the BSAA and other government parties alike. You’d even remember briefly having sessions at USSOCOM before you were on field with the BSAA, you’d come in, left a mark and went straight off to work for Chris Redfield.
As you kept walking, Hunnigan had managed to find you a copy of the mission briefing at her office before heading out to the hall again. You were handed a thick set of papers- enough to make you question how big of a job this was. Before your eyes finished with the first page, Hunnigan was three steps further down the hall.
“Leon!” She stopped in her tracks. “I thought you weren’t meant to be here until 9?”
Leon. You seen and heard of him time and time again from Redfield despite their lack of interaction with one another. That name alone made you look up from your hands, startled almost. You envied him in some way- or at least what you had heard of him. Not because he was the presidents golden boy, nor because he was everyone’s favourite toy to send after bio-terrorists. No, you simply envied his will to live and to save others- you envied that in Chris a little bit too if you were completely honest. Little did you know, he had heard a bit about you here and there too.
“Well it doesn’t hurt to arrive a bit earlier.” He turned and greeted you with a warm smile. Unusual huh. Not many people with a tragic life like his working two and two for the government had enough will power to greet anyone like that. Your lack of reciprocation made the exchange unlawfully bitter. He stood up from the bench in the hall, reaching his hand out for you to shake.
“This is agent Kennedy, I’m sure you’ve heard a bit about him from around the place. I assume Chris has familiarised you with his presence on this earth.” Hunnigan was inclined on introducing you two and before she could finish your name, he’d already repeated it back to you. He was tall, but not an intimidating height, a firm but gentle grip, roughly shaven and kind blue eyes. No one ever mentioned his look of warmth before.
“I’m sure you two will have more than enough time to know each other, and seeing as your both here why don’t we just get started.” You don’t remember her conversations with you being this light hearted, well- if you could even call them proper conversations amidst your prolonged stroll through the building.
Washington DC
Conference Room 6A
09:00AM
You were almost like some sort of loyal hound to Chris. Sure, you followed orders, got the job done but under the necessary circumstances. Not to mention- being backed up by a squad. You really never left his side despite his muddled up tactical morals, you always managed to fall under his command. This was different. The strings were coiled tighter. And there was no Redfield to suggest that he had a better idea.
You could tell by the annoyance in Leon’s otherwise-abnormally-kind eyes that he wanted to protest against the idea. He was a field agent, a rather special one but he certainly wasn’t some sort of government spy. And neither were you. Hunnigan wasnt exactly asking. In fact she had no say in approval as shes just an F.O.S agent who’s unfortunate circumstances had her picking up after Leon Kennedy.
“Leon we dont have another option” she sighed, tiredly removing her glasses and setting her hand to pinch on the bridge of her nose. “Look, if this really is a plan that’ll result in a chain of bio-terrorist attacks then we can’t be stuck in the deep end.” So- nothing but a wild goose chase into unmarked territory.
Unmarked, exactly what people look for when they want to satisfy themselves with bioterrorism. The BSAA could only ever cover so much terrain, and Chris wanted to punch himself for how easily the US stuck their fingers into his shit.
“Leon-” she sighed again, some sort of tired mother fed up with her teenage son’s lack of common sense in the world, blandly trying to explain to him basic parameters. “We wouldn’t have called if there was anyone else suitable foe the mission.” Leon huffed at the repetitiveness of the lines to follow, which earned him a less patient, more aggressive tone from Hunnigan. “You’d still be shit faced on vacation right now and /kitten/ here would still be tailing Chris Redfield like some sort if spirit animal.”
Leon shifted his gaze towards you, surprised to see no reaction from the otherwise offensive nickname Hunnigan spat out at you. You weren’t denying it, and Leon had had enough of her passive aggressiveness.
“If this all goes south, well have escorts from our nearest location pull you out of there immediately-“
Bold promise to make. You knew STRATCOM was good- but how good? Last time you heard anything about their squads was from Chris Redfield ‘warning’ his team not to fuck up because he didn’t want his XOs filling out mountains of post-operation paperwork. Cleanup was a lengthy process and he hates seeing squad kids packed in bags because of some strategical fuck up. ‘I don’t want a repeat of STRATCOM’s last mission’, he’d said for months on end, pestering kids into learning their shit and paying attention more. Redfield wasn’t in the position to lose any more soldiers- he couldn’t afford to.
You leant back on the table, hands rested over the ledge so you could scornfully and casually flick through the rest of the file laid out beside you. Leon was still standing beside you, a good distance, arms crossed staring firmly at Hunnigan, patiently awaiting her next spew of words. She sighed, deep and heavy and put her glasses back on as she sat up in her chair.
“You leave tomorrow at noon. Escort will be waiting out the back of West Wing so if you could please familiarise yourself with that area and collect your gear before then that would be great.”
That part was directed to you. West wing is on the west side of the building, but where the fuck that is you hadn’t bothered paying attention to. Hunnigan opened her mouth to say something again- but ultimately decided against the idea and instead followed her instructions with ‘any questions?’, before all of you remained in silence and she quickly dismissed you. Hunnigan, in a silent annoyance, packed up the file and left the empty conference room leaving you and Leon to wilt in each others presence.
You watched the dust particles floating around the ray of sunshine hitting the carpet, tapping your finger on the edge of the table.
“Sorry about her. I think she’s just sick of me at this point. But a job’s a job, right?”
Out of the blue, Leon uncrossed his arms and sighed in amusement. You looked up at him, phased by his forgiving attitude, sending a huff and nod in agreement. You resentfully pushed yourself off this table, informally stretching your back as you adjusted yourself.
“See you tomorrow then I guess.” You snarked, backing your way towards the door.
“No introductions?”
“You’ve read my file-“
“That file says nothing about you-“ Leon laughed. You shrugged in return as you reached the heavy wooden door to the hall.
“Nothing to know Agent Kennedy.” You mumbled, like he could barely hear it.
AN: OKAY THATS AN IDEA OF WHAT IT MIGHT BE AND I HOPE THAT WASNT TOO HORRIBLE!!! if theres anything you’d like me to know just shoot a message or send in something :)

Heyy
Do you have any advice on starting a real estate business as in just buying and renting out property?
Thanks 🤍
Yes!
**For the record, I have personally done a few flips/rehabs. Apart from that, I knew/know most of the realtors in this city and relating companies as I worked with most real estate/mortgage and title companies here when I had an agency.
First you need to be able to learn the market and research comparables. When looking to buy properties there are important factors to consider to make sure you are not paying overprice for a property as well as that the are is on demand, ensuring it will be easier to rent out the property.
The location of the property and its proximity to amenities like schools, shopping centers, grocery stores, transportation etc. Also that the area is safe.
You also want to look for areas that has future development plans, this will raise the value of your property.
If you have worked with investment companies, you will quickly learn that buying a property that is not in the best condition, a rehab property, could be a very smart play. You want to make sure of course to check the comparables and ensure that the property is underpriced compared to the other homes in the area. Once you rehab the property, it could raise or even surpass the value of the other homes in the area.
Any home that you would look into to buy for renting out should have elements that you intend to upgrade on. There are a lot of reasons for this but the most important one is how it raises your price and potential earnings. Redoing a kitchen or a bathroom can immediately raise the value of your home anywhere from 5-50k. A project that will cost you anywhere from 3-10k on average for a standards nice kitchen depending on your area.
Overall you still want to look at the comps to make sure you are getting a fair deal. Calculate the potential annual rent as a percentage of the properties price. This will give you an idea of the return on your investment. Also make sure that the potential rental income exceeds the monthly expenses. If not it does not make sense.
Check the vacancy rates in the area you want to purchase in, if its high there may be a low demand and not a good area to invest in.
Also you want to think about how easy it would be to sell the property if you need to. In demand areas tend to be more liquid.
So important, to understand the landlord/ tenant laws in your state. Including their rights and eviction process etc. Nothing worst than having a horrible tenant and not being legally able to remove them.
There are a lot of rate plans depending on your specific situation and mortgage rates also vary significantly by state. Make sure to get the best deal for you. Some states a first time can give as little as 1-5% down depending if you are a first time/ entrepreneur etc.
Property insurance is another cost factor to consider when working out your numbers as this varies by area.
Managing a few properties on your own is easy, but after a handful, you may want to consider hiring a property management company to handle these things for you.
I would strongly urge you to get a lawyer to draw up renter contracts.
To grow this business what you want to do, and this is a general overview: down payment for house, fix, rent out, refinance, use refinance to purchase another property and have enough to put into upgrades/repairs on the second purchase and repeat.
I can get into taxes on this too if you want.

In 2019, other than the government of Vladimir Putin, Warren Buffett was the biggest funder of Sputnik News, the Russian disinformation website controlled by the Kremlin. It wasn’t that the legendary champion of American capitalism had an alter ego who woke up every morning wondering how he could help finance Vladimir Putin’s global propaganda network. It was because Geico, the giant American insurance company and subsidiary of Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, was the leading advertiser on the American version of Sputnik News’ global website network.
Nor was it because a marketing executive at Geico had decided that advertising on the Russian disinformation outlet was a good idea. That would have been especially unlikely, not only because of the Buffett connection, but also because Geico stands for Government Employees Insurance Company and has its roots dating to the 1930s, providing insurance to civilians and members of the military who worked for the American government, not its Russian adversary.
In fact, no one at Geico or its advertising agency had any idea its ads would appear on Sputnik, let alone what anti-American content would be displayed alongside the ads. How could they? Which person or army of people at Geico or its agency could have read 44,000 websites?
Geico’s ads had been placed through a programmatic advertising system that was invented in the late 1990s as the internet developed. It exploded beginning in the mid 2000s and is now the overwhelmingly dominant advertising medium. Programmatic algorithms, not people, decide where to place most of the ads we now see on websites, social media platforms, mobile devices, streaming television, and increasingly hear on podcasts. The numbers involved are mind-boggling. If Geico’s advertising campaign were typical of programmatic campaigns for broad-based consumer products and services, each of its ads would have been placed on an average of 44,000 websites, according to a study done for the leading trade association of big-brand advertisers.
Geico is hardly the only rock-solid American brand to be funding the Russians. During the same period that the insurance company’s ads appeared on Sputnik News, 196 other programmatic advertisers bought ads on the website, including Best Buy, E-Trade, and Progressive insurance. Sputnik News’ sister propaganda outlet, RT.com (it was once called Russia Today until someone in Moscow decided to camouflage its parentage), raked in ad revenue from Walmart, Amazon, PayPal, and Kroger, among others.
Every workday, approximately 2,500 people sit at desktops or laptops using these programmatic advertising algorithms to spend tens of millions of dollars an hour. They work at advertising agencies scattered around the world, or, in the case of some major companies, at their in-house advertising shops. Their titles might be “programmatic specialist,” “programmatic associate,” or “campaign manager.” What they have in common is that they are usually in their first jobs out of college. Although many work from home post-Covid, if they are in the office, they sit at carrels in large open spaces that resemble the trading floor of a stock brokerage.

Jessica Valenti at Abortion, Every Day:
I know, I know—I don’t want to think about it either. But if the worst happens, we need to be prepared. So let’s talk about what would happen to abortion rights if Donald Trump wins the presidency.  Despite Trump trying to appear moderate on abortion rights over the last few months, conservatives’ plan for reproductive rights should he win is about as extreme as it gets—from the Comstock Act and reversing approval of abortion medication to appointing two new Supreme Court justices.  To start, let’s be clear that if Trump had the votes, he would absolutely sign a national abortion ban. Despite the disgraced former president’s promises to veto a ban, Republicans simply wouldn’t call it that. Instead, they’d say that they’re passing a ‘minimum national standard’ on abortion. Because remember, the only thing that they consider an abortion ban these days is total prohibition—no exceptions, even to save a woman’s life. They’d push for something like the 15-week abortion ban Sen. Lindsay Graham has been proposing and insist it’s merely a restriction.
Then there’s abortion medication, which is a primary target for conservatives, who know that many patients in anti-choice states have been obtaining the pills via telehealth and mail. To stop that from happening, Trump would replace the head of the FDA in order to repeal approval of abortion medication or seriously restrict it. (Three Republican Attorneys General have already brought a lawsuit to try to rollback access to the drug.)  Trump would also replace the head of the Department of Justice, who would in turn start to enforce the Comstock Act. This 150-year old obscenity law doesn’t just ban the mailing of abortion medication, but of any tools used in abortion; it could also prohibit the shipping of birth control that Republicans claim aren’t contraception, but abortions. Since 63% of abortions are done using abortion medication, these attacks on the pills would amount to a national backdoor ban impacting the entire country, not just anti-abortion states.
A Trump administration could also make it easier for states to deny women emergency, life-saving abortions. Conservatives have already been attacking the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA), with Republican state leaders arguing that the federal law doesn’t trump their abortion bans and that EMTALA doesn’t require emergency abortions at all. With Trump at the helm of the federal government, that bogus interpretation of the law could become standard. What’s more, a Trump administration could decline to enforce EMTALA, allowing states with extreme abortion bans to deny women life-saving care. (States like Idaho and Texas are already fighting for that right in the courts.)
Some of the names being thrown around for DOJ appointments should send a chill down your spine. Abortion, Every Day sources tell us that Erin Hawley—the high-profile anti-abortion lawyer from Alliance Defending Freedom, involved in the Dobbs case, the mifepristone lawsuit, and EMTALA cases before the Supreme Court—is on a shortlist. Also being considered is Jonathan Mitchell, the anti-abortion lawyer behind Texas’ “bounty hunter” law and the “Sanctuary City of the Unborn” travel ban ordinances. These are the worst of the worst when it comes to abortion rights—giving them the reins of any federal agency (or even access to it!) would be a full nightmare.  Then there’s Project 2025. In addition to all of the attacks listed above, this conservative roadmap for forcing women back into the home calls for expanded ‘conscience laws’ to allow doctors, pharmacists, insurance companies, and employers to refuse to dispense or cover not just abortion—but birth control.
The plan also details how a Trump administration would gut Title X funding for contraception and use the program to focus on “fertility awareness and holistic family planning,” and to “provide educational information on healthy marriage and relationships.” In other words, they’d advocate for the rhythm method and push women into marriage. How would they do that? By directing that funding to anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers—religious groups that oppose birth control.  The last thing Project 2025 would direct a Trump administration to do is collect massive amounts of data on abortion, support bad science and attack patient privacy—from laws forcing doctors to ask women invasive questions and report their answers to the state to the fabrication of abortion ‘complication’ data. In other words, a pregnancy surveillance system.
A Trump 2nd term would be a giant disaster for abortion access and reproductive health more broadly.
Vote Harris to protect abortion, birth control, IVF, and contraception.

Maybe more boomers would be grandparents if they were better parents in the first place.
According to younger Americans, the ‘unspoken’ grief their parents feel about not having grandchildren isn’t entirely unspoken
By Meredith Clark Tuesday 19 November 2024
Amid falling birth rates and growing numbers of U.S. adults opting to remain child-free, boomer and Generation X grandparents are mourning the prospect of ever becoming grandparents. However, according to millennials themselves, the reasons for not having children far outweigh the disappointment their parents may feel.
The uproar began this week after the New York Times published an interview with yearning would-be grandparents, titled “The Unspoken Grief of Never Becoming a Grandparent.” The article stated that older Americans “may experience a deep sense of longing and loss when their children opt out of parenthood.”
Indeed, there is an increasing number of Americans who have decided not to have children. A 2021 survey from the Pew Research Center found that 44 percent of adults said it is “not too or not at all likely” that they will have children someday. Meanwhile, a little more than half of adults 50 and older had at least one grandchild in 2021, down from nearly 60 percent in 2014.
As the New York Times article went viral on X/Twitter, it prompted many younger adults to share their reasons for not having children.
“Bro we can’t afford houses, much less entire new humans,” one user replied.
“Maybe if Boomers and elder Gen X had focused on voting for policies that benefited their children rather than themselves, they could have had grandchildren,” claimed someone else. “They pulled up the ladder behind them and expected us to keep climbing.”
Another person commented: “Boomers sitting in their paid off four-bedroom homes in the suburbs while their kids drown in debt and a skyrocketed cost of living watching winter rapidly disappear: ‘But what about what WE want.’”
Some younger Americans simply took issue with the idea that their parents’ complaints about not having children could go “unspoken,” considering it’s a major topic of conversation for some families at the dinner table.
“‘Unspoken’ is crazy considering every older person I’ve ever voiced my decision to not have children to gets visibly mad at me,” one woman said.
“Ask any woman over 25 if it’s unspoken,” another echoed.
“Hey if it’s so unspoken why am I constantly hearing about it,” a third user wrote.
From rising housing prices to the cost of child care, the financial impact of raising a child in the U.S. has influenced younger adults to remain child-free. In 2020, average Americans paid $1,202 per month in homeownership costs – including taxes, homeowners insurance, maintenance, and utility bills. Just four years later, that number has jumped a staggering 26 percent, up to $1,510 monthly.
According to the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), house prices across the U.S. rose by an average of 6.6 percent in one year. In fact, the median home price in the U.S. is $412,300 – that’s 40 percent higher than some millennials’ parents paid for their homes in the 1990s.
When it comes to child care, such as hiring a nanny or paying for daycare, parents are spending almost a quarter of their household income on child care, per Care.com’s 2024 Cost of Care Report.
Discussions surrounding the housing crisis and declining birth rates were heightened leading up to the 2024 U.S. presidential election. Throughout her campaign, Vice President Kamala Harris proposed a child tax credit of $6,000 for families with newborn children in the first year of their life.
The Harris-Walz campaign also promised up to $25,000 in assistance with down payments for first-time homebuyers who have paid their rent on time for two years, in order to create “more generous support for first-generation homeowners.”
As for president-elect Donald Trump, he’s suggested using federal land to address the housing shortage. The Republican National Committee platform states that they plan on promoting “homeownership” by using tax incentives and helping first-time buyers.
The platform also plans to cut “unnecessary regulations” that raise the price of housing and to “reduce mortgage rates by slashing inflation.”

Introduction
The 2024 Turkish Crypto Law is in effect as of July 2, 2024. A new term was started after the adoption of the Law Numbered 7518 “known as the Turkish Crypto Law” revising the Capital Markets Law Numbered 6362 as of July 2, 2024. All legal practitioners including Turkish business lawyers have focused on main features of crypto asset platforms and upcoming benchmarks and standards by the Board. This article will present a useful summary of the recent Board decision on the 2024 Announcement for the Rejected Crypto Asset Platforms.
What is the meaning of Financial Technologies?
Financial technologies (FinTech) environment has improved very quickly over the last 20 years across the globe. The term “FinTech” is used to refer to emerging electronic payment methodologies and systems such as electronic money institutions, payment institutions, digital banks, online insurance agencies, and crowdfunding platforms and blockchain such as crypto currencies. It is very significant to underscore at this juncture that the terms for crypto wallet, crypto asset, crypto asset storage service and crypto asset exchange platform as well as crypto assets service provider were made in Article 1 of the Law Numbered 7518. It is mandatory to obtain a permission from the Board for the establishment and operation of crypto service providers.

What is the news for the 2024 Announcement for the Rejected Crypto Asset Platforms?
There is recent progress on the 2024 Announcement for the Rejected Crypto Asset Platforms. The Board announced its decision for the list of crypto platforms whose declaration applications have not been considered or have been directly rejected. The announcement is available in Board Bulletin 2024/42.  The applications of 32 crypto providers have been removed from processing on the grounds of incomplete or insufficient submission of the requested explanations and documents. Recent Progress for the 2024 Turkish Crypto Business Environment in Turkey
In Turkey there has been a broad range of developments for the improvement of financial technologies. As a first step, the digital participation banking system is accepted by Turkish lawmakers in Turkey.
As a second step, the recognition of digital wallets has also been completed by means of new regulation of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye. In this way, a Digital Wallet Era in Turkey started.
As a third step, the 2024 New Electronic Submission System for Turkish Capital Markets was instituted by the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye.
Turkish policy-makers took a commitment of the full compliance of the emerging capital markets system in line with the Financial Task Force standards and principles designed for the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing. Therefore, fourthly, the Law Numbered 7518 on Amendments to the Capital Markets Law Numbered 6362 has been enacted. The Law Numbered 7518 is regarded as Crypto Law of Turkey and enters into force following its publication in the Official Gazette dated July 2, 2024.
Take a look at our up-to-date article on the 2024 FATF Decision on Turkey
Fiftly, the first decision on the 2024 Announcement for the Rejected Crypto Asset Platforms has been delivered by the Board dated 23 August 2024.
Conclusion
Considering the above, it is critical to outline that the Board is granted a wide margin of appreciation and authority to manage crypto asset regime. Totally 64 application processes were stopped by the Board because of the lack of necessary requirements in the 2024 Announcement for the Rejected Crypto Asset Platforms. Undoubtedly, investment advice through the comprehensive assistance of Turkish business lawyers is seen as a considerable component of FinTech crypto investors in Turkey.

Hola ladies! I have a very..specific odd scenario and was wondering if you have any financial wisdom to impart! I own my own car outright, like I worked my heinie off to pay for it and now triumphantly have the title in hand. However, I have never had a license because I have an undiagnosed seizure/vertigo(??) issue which makes driving dangerous af. My longtime partner is the driver. Our current insurance is fine with this situation and I get my homeowners insurance through them too, but their rate has steadily gotten higher over time despite nothing changing on our end (no claims, no tickets). I was looking into getting quotes from other insurance companies and NONE of them want to insure me/us because I don't have a license! So now I feel trapped in this high-rate insurance. :(
I'm so sorry, puggle! This is such an odd scenario. One option is to put your partner on the car's deed as a co-owner, and insure it under their license instead. Obviously, that would require a level of trust and permanence with your partner.
But it's very unusual to own a car without a license, and the insurance agencies are probably incentivized to NOT insure an unlicensed driver, which is why they're giving you trouble.
Either way, you need cheaper insurance, so keep shopping around! Sometimes even calling your current insurer and saying "hey, I got a better offer elsewhere, how much can you lower my bill to keep me as a customer?" will help.
